In a sort of continuation of the megathread Ruben posted a while back...

We got to talking on the chatbox about specialty type matches in IWF. As of this moment, we got the Double Cage Horror (At the request of Corey not wanting to lose his precious match), the Hawk's Nest (Brought to us by Jason Hawk), and the Isolation Dome (the staple of the Isolation PPV)

I know there are a few of you with some awesome ideas for matches...so let's hear them! Specialty-type matches are what helps us to stand out from other places. And you know what we always say...

This is your fed too! (Sick of hearing it yet?)

So if you have a cool idea for a match you'd like to see in IWF, post it here! We'll see if someday, we won't see two of our combatants tearing each other apart in your creation. Sound good? Wonderful!

Prison Cell Match. Steel Cage with a roof and once inside no one leaves until the opponent is unable to answer a ten count after that person has been pinned.

Lion's Den match - Ruben's speciality match that I came up with but never got used in NLWF.

Roofed cage lowered around the ring (we fucking like our cages, don't we?) with four cells, one in each corner. Each competitor gets to pick two allies to be in the cells. In the center of the ring are two poles which are anchored to the roof of the cage. Attached to both these poles are several sets of handcuffs. The winner is the first person to handcuff BOTH of their opponents hands to the poles, thus rendering them unable to fight.

After a winner is decided, the winner's allies cell doors are opened, and their allies can emerge to join the winner in beating down the helpless opponent.

Survival of the Fittest Match:
Think of this match being a mixture of the Royal Rumble and a Gauntlet match. The match starts off with two wrestlers. The wrestler wins by pinfall or submission, but here's the catch: That person THEN has to face another opponent, the cycle keeps going until the last man is standing. (It's good for championship matches Razz)

House of Glass Match:
This match is a specialty match where all weapons are glass. Light tubes, glass tables, glass chairs, shards of glass, sheets of glass, glasses, bottles...anything you can imagine. And the fun part about it...is that the ring is surrounded by a glass like structure. It's the same size as a Elimination Chamber cage. The walls are glass too, so that's something fun!! Very Happy

Battle At The Top Of The Mountain
OKAY...I got this idea after watching Ready To Rumble! LOL. In order to win you have to reach the top this pyramid type cage. Think of it as a layered cake...the bottom part will be a Hell in a Cell type cage. There will be a cage STACKED on top of that one...but this cage's walls are barbed wire. The final cage will be a standard one, and at the top of this cage...will be a belt (or whatever) hanging at the top.

House of Mirrors Match:
This match is a specialty match where all weapons are Mirrors of all size and they all can be used its held in a Hell in a Cell and the way you win the match is to put them through a Mirror with your finish.

I have one comment on this match type, the two people in this match will have a shit load of bad luck for a long, long time.

Death-Angel doesn't make wrestling matches. He makes killing matches.

Also, Connor had a couple of awesome ones, but I think maybe change the name (And the world's worst match-namer is going to take a crack at it)

Survival of the Fittest = "Ultimate Survival" or "Simple Survival" (Because I thought it'd be funny to take another pointless stab at the Ashes, and name one of our matches after their PPV)

Battle at the Top of the Mountain = "Tower of Power," or "The Crag" or something.

Do any of those sound better? Maybe I'm nuts.

The Ultimate Submission

No time limit
5 points to win
1 point is scored when you successfully tap opponent out.
First four submissions must be executed on four different areas (Arm, Head, Leg, Back)
After you get those 4 points, you may execute any submission hold for the fifth point.

[center]IWF Gorilla WarGames

Much like the old NWA/WCW WarGames matches, but a little different, and a lot more extreme.

Gorilla WarGames is a match with 2 teams of either 4 or 5.

2 rings are set up in the arena, with an extra large Hell in a Cell covering the rings.

There is 1 door on the far left side of the cell, and 1 door on the far right side of the cell. One team enters from one door, the other team from the other door.

The match begins with 1 man from each team fighting it out. After 5 minutes, there is a coin toss to see which team gets to send in their 2nd competitor. Both sides then take turns sending in their next wrestler every 5 minutes until both sides have all of their wrestlers inside the cell, fighting.

Each wrestler is allowed to bring 1 weapon into the match.

After all wrestlers are inside the cell, Gorilla WarGames has officially begun, and elimination rules are in effect. One can be eliminated by being pinned or having to submit. A total of 3 referees will enter the cage once all wrestlers have entered.

Once an entire team has been eliminated, the opposing team has won.

If any of the participants in this match are title holders of any sort, Double Jeopardy Rules are in effect. Meaning if a title holder gets eliminated, the wrestler who eliminated him becomes the new champion.

The Dual Finisher match is a sick idea, but DA only suggested it because NO ONE can hit KABLOOSKIE except DA

Actually, wouldn't you think ANYONE would be able to hit it? It's just a punch to the face. The key is that when someone else punches you in the face, you'll walk away just fine. If a 700 pound guy does it, it's like getting clubbed in the face with a fucking bowling ball. LOL

Anyway, I think the match idea is awesome. So much so, that I'm making in an official IWF Specialty match.

And if you have a problem with that decision because I didn't consult you, then you're an INGRATE!

Bloodbath Match - Fought inside Hell In A Cell, only way to win is to cover your opponent's face in his blood and pin him.

IWF Drinking Games---

Both competitors get fucked up on the alchey of hteir choice and the beat each other down, first one to knock out the other wins!!!

Electric chair Match --

The first one to strap their opponent down and turn on the juice wins!! Obviously not a real huge current would be used.

House of Horrors match --

Two wrestlers fight through a locked house or wherehouse the first to escape wins

Caged Insanity Match- Similar to TNA's Monsters Ball match, the people in the match are left alone in a locked room without light, food or water for twenty-four hours before the match. The match is contested in a steel cage but the top of the cage is closed and weapons are hanging on the cage to be used, the only way to win is to incapacitate your opponent so he is unable to answer the ten count.

I have a match idea actully I've done this kind of match once before during one the efeds that I was in. I wanna bring it here because I think it would fit perfect here. The match is called Trip to Oblivion and here's the rp from my efed describing how the structure looks like

The scene opens on a large platform that resembles a ring, but with no ropes or turnbuckles. The ring itself, nearly twice the size of a regular one, is being repositioned for tonight's match. On the main platform is a second box-like construct with no windows. The 2nd platform extends 15 feet high and on top is a another ring with ropes and turnbuckles, smaller than a regular-sized ring. The crowd can only watch in amazement as crew members put the finishing touches on this Hellish new match design. The ring crew continuously pass back and forth through the four doors, one on each side of the large structure, putting in chairs, tables and other forms of weapons inside the sealed construct. Two ladders held by nails, one on the front end and the other on the back end of the structure, offer the only means to reach the second ring high above the arena.

the stipulations to this match is pretty simple, all wrestlers start from the ring on the second plateform. There are no countouts, no pinfalls, no submissions and basicly no DQ. The only way to win this kind of match is to throw your opponet off the main plateform and into oblivion!

Like it? Give me your opinions.
