Roland Drax stumbles around backstage, overwhelmed by emotions after winning his debut on Battlegrounds. Even Wanda expresses her happiness over their successes tonight. Drax grabs a water bottle from one of the nearby tables. He removes the cap, tosses it aside, & takes a few much deserves gulps out of it. Roland then pours the remaining water over his head, attempting to cool himself down. He leans up against a well and succumbs to the joyous moment with a outburst of laughter. Wanda in a rare showing of approval attempts to congratulate him. Then without warning Roland Drax shoves her out of the way of what proves to be incoming danger. A man lurking around backstage suddenly jumps Roland & the two break into an impromptu brawl.

Jason Ginyu thought himself as being very sneaky. Yes, very sneaky indeed. As many people were willing to just wait their turn to make an impact, Ginyu has the brilliant idea (in his mind anyway) that by jumping a fellow newcomer fresh off of a win, not only would he steal the spotlight, but also make a name for himself in short order as a force to be reckoned with.

Unfortunately for Ginyu, he wasn't expecting the hero Roland Drax to be prepared with magical spidey senses that alerted him to the ambush attempt. Jason contemplated simply booking it for the sake of living to run in another day, but the possibility of being chased was not pleasant, not pleasant at all.

And so, the brawl began.

Not exactly a trained street fighter, The Captain decided it was best to charge headlong and try for a double leg takedown. The awkward positioning of neither man being prepared for a fight instead caused Jason to tackle Roland into the concrete wall, as Ginyu desperately let loose a few shoulder thrusts that to the untrained eye would look more like mentally challenged dry humping.

Roland instinctively latched on a guillotine choke with one arm and began slamming down forearms across the back of the Captain. But the wiley villain was not to be completely outmatched, as he cleverly stomped on the toes of Drax, which allowed him to get in a solid shoulder thrust that caused the hero to guffaw in labored grunting.

Roland Drax breathing grew frantic as his ribs continued to be smashed against the solid concrete walls. Drax drew forth the strength to shove his attacker away for a few brief moments. Yet Roland’s opponent was unwilling to relent & attempted to go back on the offensive. The attacker charged Roland Drax but instead got caught in the jaw with a devastating left hand that left him staggering. Drax begins to gain momentum & continues to connect with a series of lefts. Roland grabbed the assailant by his hair then drives him face first into the wall. The attacker had little time to recover before having a water bottle smashed across his forehead by Roland. Water goes everywhere as this mysterious stranger attempt to crawl away but Drax would not allow this coward to escape that easy.

Roland Drax struggles to lift his assailant off the ground as the attacker fends off with a multiple of kidney shots. The attacker manages to create separation between him & Roland then delivers a wicked chop to Drax’s throat. Roland Drax keels over coughing as a result. The assailant regaining the upper hand catches Drax in the midsection with a stiff spinning heel kick. The last remaining gasp of air he had was forced out, Roland collapses to his knees. The attacker starts laying down the hurt with several brutal kicks to the chest over & over. The assailant not satisfied yet takes a chair that was emptied during the sudden scuffle, folds it, & raises it high above his head. The attacker wound up but before he could deliver the deathblow Roland Drax suddenly connects with a spear. Drax proceeds to drive a flurry of left elbows across the skull of this mystery opponent.

Jason Ginyu struggled beneath his adversary, elbows raining down upon him. He desperately tried to kip up out of his predicament, but Drax was able to shift positions. The Captain, seeking some way out of this predicament, grabbed the arm of Roland after a final elbow blow and did the only thing he knew how, to sink his teeth into the forearm of his foe.

Drax yelled out in pain and frustration, forced to let go of his superior position, he shook his arm while holding it with his other cursing repeatedly. Ginyu took this opportunity and leaped into action, jumping on the back of the hero and locking on a sleeper hold. As Drax dropped to his knees under the weight of his assailant. Coughing and sputtering, Drax crawled away at nothing as The Captain continued to apply pressure.

It was at this moment, that Wanda, Roland's agent, inserted herself into the action. Coming from behind Ginyu, she scrapes at the eyes of her clients attacker causing him to scream in pain and release his old. This allows Roland to push against Jason and slam him against the nearby concrete wall, Wanda barely moving out of the way in time.

Ginyu's head rang with pain upon impact, as Roland attempted to deliver a sure to be knockout spinning back elbow to his prone opponent, but in a moment of either sheer luck or adrenaline induced hyper reflexes, Ginyu was able to catch the elbow with his own hand, snapping off a knee to the sternum of Drax, and kicking him off the villain as both men stood face to face, battered, bruised and breathing heavy, readying for a final assault.

Suddenly security rushes the scene stopping Roland Drax from mangling his mysterious assailant. The attacker gives up without any incident. He places his hands over his head & gladly agrees to security’s orders. Roland however was much less cooperative & attempted numerous times to lunge at his attacker. Wanda managed to calm Drax after barking several orders at him. The assailant willing goes with security & laughs the entire time. Roland Drax has no other choice but to remain behind watching in anger. Wanda remains between her client & the attacker to ensure he doesn’t dare do anything that may risk their jobs in IWF. It was certain Roland would be crossing paths with this mystery assailant again.
