2013 Fall Charity Bash

Hey guys, if you don't remember me I handle Rex Evans of CRW. Gordon told me it'd be cool to post this here, setting up an interpromotional show. I ran one back in March and it went over well, so I'm running the sequel now. Ladies and gentlemen the time has come! I promised an event in the fall, and here it is! In order to give everyone plenty of time to generate a card, role play, and then finalize results on time... I'm starting the event extra early!

So for some out of character information, this event is intended to be an interpromotional supercard where we can see some dream matches, some matches that would normally be impossible, or matches that will have a level playing field in and out of character, etc.

You guys will have the opportunity to suggest or request your matches, and then I will finalize the card to make it the most compelling, entertaining, and fun event we can make it. And the event will be capped off with an in and out of character Charity Battle Royal, where we take all the role plays of those who sign up for it (there is a spot in registration for this) and judge them against each other, and the winner will receive $100,000 in character to their charity.

There will be a one role play maximum, with a 4,000 word limit. This is to make it easier for judging, your score will not be depleted if you go under nor if you go over it a bit, but if it gets excessively long you may get points detracted.

I plan on having the card finalized and posted on August 2nd, and then giving you one whole month to role play so as to not interfere with your regular promotions' shows, the Extreme Tournament, or any other interfed happenings. Role play deadline will then be August 30th, at 11:59pm CST. This then gives me another week to finish up results and get everything finalized to post on time of the in character event date, September 6th.

Your role plays will be judged by the following criteria (borrowed from the Experts):
[-]Selling - Ability to sell the opponents, surroundings, tournament, match etc.
[-]Pacing/Story - Is your RP structured well enough to follow clearly? Does it drag on, or does it hit the perfect rhythm? Have you got some substance in your roleplay, or is it just the wrestler droning on at the camera? If you've done a promo, is it snappy and exciting?
[-]Character - Does the character really come across in the roleplay and provide their own spin to everything etc.
[-]Spelling/Punctuation - Not as important, but generally good spelling/punctuation is necessary.

As far as in character information is concerned, I will be posting build up segments as sign ups begin pouring in and the card gets finalized so as to help generate ideas for your role plays.

But information I can give you now is that the event will take place once again at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. There will be a meet and greet at 2pm, the doors then open at 6pm and the opening bell rings at 8pm all local Vegas time. Feel free to use the Meet & Greet in your role plays or on Twitter.

Each wrestler will have to choose a charity to wrestle for, thus gaining $5,000 upon winning their match. This of course varies with stipulation matches (ie. last year's table match or iron man match). There will also once again be a 6-man ladder match for a $10,000 briefcase to their charity, as well as the Charity Battle Royal at the end of the show where the winner's charity will be awarded $100,000.

The Make-a-Wish foundation will be gaining all proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales for the event. Also, the Wounded Warrior Project will be granted $10,000 for every match on the card on behalf of Talon Wilkinson and Code Red Wrestling.

If I am forgetting anything else, I'm sure I will be adding it in as the deadlines begin approaching. Let's have fun and put on a kick ass show, feel free to start registering!
