Underground 2: Searching For A Champion

The lights in the arena circle around as the crowd gets crazy. Real wrestling fans stand on their feet and pack themselves into the arena for a chance to witness the first ever IWF: Underground show. The entrance video for the Underground begins to play and the fans are going insane.

Just then as the music fades out we cut to the middle of the ring where ring announcer and commentator Calvin Jones is standing holding a microphone. The crowd continues to be rowdy and unsettled.

Ladies and gentlemen...we are LIVE on the Underground!

*CROWD POPS LOUDLY*

I’m your host, Calvin Jones and tonight we have a show of jam packed action! You want wrestling, you want PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING!? Well my friends you’ve come to the RIGHT place. Here at the Underground we don’t need the flashy lights and Hollywood stars we are RAW and IN YOUR FACE! Never so much has a week meant more than this week! Our race to the Underground championship begins tonight. EIGHT MATCHES! EIGHT WINNERS! EIGHT PEOPLE MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ROUND! It’s an exciting time tonight and this crowd is already causing ruckus!

Pariah
[vs.]  
The Broom

As The Broom is propped in the corner, Pariah looks at how opponent rubbing his chin as the bell rings. He is probably wondering "how in the hell The Broom beat Fat Lenny last week?" shrugging his shoulders, Pariah runs after the broom delivering the close line to the broom which cause The Broom to fall forward on the mat after the impact. Noticing that the broom handle is underneath the ropes, Pariah picks up the broom and tosses it to the center of the ring. With a smirk on his face, he walks over to his fallen opponent but when he does he steps on The Brooms straw locks causing the broom to spring up with a massive broom hit right in Pariah's face. The sudden strike causes Pariah to stumble back holding his face, with his eyes closed in agony as he again back steps on The Broom's strawly locks causing him to deliver another broom hit to the back of Pariah's head. Taking a big frustrating breathe, Pariah slowly turns and looks down at the broom as the crowd is laughing at the antics that just took place causing Pariah's anger to sky rocket as he just grabs a fist full of The Broom's straw, lifting him up on his wooden stub before placing aggressively shoving his "head" under his arm and delivering a spike DDT and quickly Pariah goes for the pin allowing him to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Lord Jaguar
[vs.]
Fat Lenny

Fat Lenny laughs as he steps toe to toe to Lord Jaguar looking up at him as he licks his lips and rubs his tummy as he says "GET INSIDE MY BELLY". When the bell sounds, Jaguar waste no time getting things started as he goes for a standing hurricaneruna, but Fat Lenny just reverses it into a power bomb and laughs. Jaguar slowly gets up to his feet still a bit winded from the sudden crash to the mat but again goes after Fat Lenny trying a standing drop kick but Lenny just bats him away as though he was just annoying fly. When Jaguar sits up trying to figure out a new game plan to take down this enormous monster, Lenny grabs him by the mask and lifts him up and giving him a giant bear hug. "I'm gonna squeeze you until you squirt out some marinade." The ref asks Jaquar if he wants to give up and he says no, and every time he says no Lenny just squeezes harder, soon Jaguar sticks out both his thumbs and jams them in Lenny's eyes until the big man lets go and once Jaguar was on solid ground, he drops kicks both of Lenny's knees out from underneath him making him just tumble over. Getting the upper hand in the match Jaquar begins to pick up the pace making it so the big man can't keep up. Getting sick of the fast pace game Lenny grabs Jaguar's throat with both hands as he went to deliver a diving lariat but some how, Lord Jaguar maneuvered his leg in between the hold wrapping it around Lenny's head, and in confusion, Lenny let go making it easier for Jaguar to attempt to put him in the Jaguar Special but figuring out that he was just to big for the hold he used all his strength to roll up big Lenny for the three count. After the pin Lenny was angry and even attempted to run after Jaquar after the match but the no soon he started running the sooner he got winded and about passed out right where he stood.

Winner: Lord Jaguar

Julian Jacobs
[vs.]
Bobby O'Day

As Bobby O'Day waits for Julian Jacobs to enter the ring, he seems focused and ready for action so much so that when Julian steps over the second rope to enter the ring, Bobby begins to run full speed towards him. Julian almost didn't have enough time to fully turn around as Julian just spears him down causing the referee to ring the bell. Smiling, Bobby just grabs a hold of one of Julian's ankle as he stands before dragging him to the center of the ring where he just makes an easy pin running his hand through his blonde locks. Leaving Bobby in the ring we cut to a commercial break.

Winner: Bobby O'Day

Lea Idas
[vs.]
James Betterman

Coming back from commercial we start our next match. Lea stands in the corner, her arms resting over the top rope as she watches James enter the ring giving Ms Melons a few kisses as the bell sounds. Before she hops down however, she has no trouble giving Lea an evil look before stepping off the apron which Lea responds with a slight chuckle and a roll of the eyes before charging towards Betterman delivering a hard hitting close line. Looking over at Ms Melons face Lea mockingly covers her mouth and says "oops" before laughing and pulling Betterman up back to his feet where he delivers some forearm smashes into her mid section in some sort or retort before she cuts him off with jamming her knee in his midsection cutting his assault short before he could get the upper hand. Lea then shoots him against the ropes where he tries to come back with a close line but she quickly ducks under it. But when she goes to spring of the ropes her self her feet are caught and pulled out from underneath her by Ms. Melons causing Lea's face to smack of the apron. during this time Betterman had distracted the referee so that he couldn't see what had transpired. Through the rest of the match their seemed to be a pattern, Lea would get the upper hand and some how Ms Melons found every opportunity to interfere so that Betterman could have the ups. But once Lea had Betterman's down after delivering a nasty flying neck breaker, she couldn't help but smirk as she looked over at Ms Melons. The crowd seemed to get behind her as Melons shook her head no when Lea rolled out of the ring and after her. Ms Melons tried to run but she was a bit slow as Lea grabbed a hand full of her hair and proceeded to slam her head against the ring apron as the referee began to make the ten count. After the assault, Lea then sung Ms Melons against the black barricade hoping that would keep the bitch out of the match for awhile. By the time the ref counted to 7, Lea had slid back in the ring looking over her shoulder once just to make sure Melons was staying down. But before she could turn around Betterman put his arm between Lea's legs in an attempt to roll her up but thinking on her feet she grabbed the top rope for leverage, before dropping down and sitting on him grabbing his kicking legs in the process for a pin of her own that got her a near fall. Getting up she helped Betterman to his feet before tossing him in the corner where she deliver her signature "Remember Thermopylae" (A cartwheel followed by a jumping high kick to a cornered opponent) then she followed up with a turnbuckle dropkick which she calls the The Phalanx. When Betterman stumbles forwards he falls in the middle of the ring which causes Lea to get a big grin on her face and soon she was climbing to the top turnbuckle to deliver her finisher the Molon Labe (630 degree splash) for the victory.

Jay “Hot Stuff”

Joey Miles

The two lock up in the ring going head to head until Jay began to get the upper hand and Joey decided to back up and gain his footing by doing some arm stretches. Again the two lock up and again Jay gets the upper hand and Joey backs out. Jay begins to get a little impatient now as Joey shakes out the cobwebs but when he turns around Jay entangles his hand into Joey's forcing him in a test of strength but when Jay goes to get in Joey's face to do some trash talking Joeys just sneezes right in his face causing a snot mixed spit mist to go straight into Jay's face. When Jay backs away disgusted,  he tries to wipe the sticky mix off his face but before he does Joey sees the opening and goes for it. First he spins around to Jay's back side and proceeds to give him a wedgie cause his opponent to hop around the ring blindly before Joey again capitalizes and delivers a Russian Leg Sweep and then quickly goes for the cover wish gives him a near fall. Scratching his head, Joey looks over at Jay who is pulling the fabric out of his bum and finally beginning to open his eyes. Joey quickly then straddles Jay and begins to deliver some nasty blows to Jay's head before jay finally pushes Joey off of him giving him enough time to stand on his feet. When Joey comes running at him again Jay catches him off guard with by sending him straight to the ring post where Joey kunks his head against. Walking up to him, Jay waste no time but in introducing Joey's face to said ring post multiple times. He goes to do it one last time but he stops as he looks at Joey who seems like he was seeing stars as he rattles off "at first i was like nuh he wouldn't and then..." before he could finish Jay bashes his head off the corner again causing Joey to fall backwards. After this moment Jay continues to have the upper hand until Joey counters a mover with a close line leaving both men laying on the mat causing the ref to attempt to count to ten. Jay was the first one to stand and deliver a a drop kick straight to the side of Joey's head and soon after Jay wasted no time locking him up in a heel hook causing Joey to tap out.

Winner: Jay “Hot Stuff”

Brad Franklin
[vs.]
JHalc

Once inside the ring, Brad Franklin decides that it was better to try to work the crowd for his favor then pay attention to his un-amused opponent JHalc.  Once the bell sounded, JHalc taps Brad on the shoulder, and as soon as he turned around, Brad went to throw a wild punch but JHalc caught his arm, countering the attack and delivered a tornado DDT , smashing the head of Brad into the mat. Looking over at his falling opponent as he sits up, JHalc gets a smirk on his face as he gets up on his feet and looks around the arena as Brad rolls over onto his back. Soon enough, JHalc runs full speed to towards the ropes, and springs board himself off the second rope, doing a moon sault and lands straight on Brad abdomen and pins him for the three count.

Dean Vandal
[vs.]
Ezekial Task

Ezekial is the first one to charge in, but Dean is fast and thinks on his feet as he just leans to the side pulling the top rope down causing Ezekial to stumble up and over it. Dean laughs as he dust of his hands walking towards the center of the ring with an index finger to his temple gesturing how smart he is. During this time of braggery, he didn't notice that Ezekial had landed on his feet and was now wiping his feet on the apron before re-entering the again and when Dean turned around he was startled by the sudden closeness of his opponent who capitalized by wrapping his arms around Dean and lifting him up performing a belly to belly suplex that he followed it up with a quick body splash pin combination that only allowed him to get a one count.  Dean goes to reach for the ropes to try and regain his focus and get back on his feet but as he crawled, Ezekial foot stomped him periodically making his crawl even more difficult but once he was on his feet thanks to the ropes support, Vandal began to fight back delivering some nasty elbows to Task's midsection and as soon as he backs off far enough, leaned over Dean takes the opportunity to spring of the ropes and deliver a hard knee straight into Ezekial's face causing him to fall back on the apron. Taking time to recuperate, Dean helps Ezekial up and whips him to the other side of the ring and when he comes storming back he is caught by a European Uppercut. The match was pretty much back and forth the entire way, tic for tac until Dean caught Ezekial off guard with a Rear Neck breaker that got him the upper hand and the opportunity to put together his signature maneuver the Wake Up Call (Low-Ki's Tidal Crush) which he followed up with Silent Night, as he lifted Ezekial over his shoulders and swinging his body around to deliver an extreme knee to his face which got him the three count. Dean celebrates in the ring as the ref holds his arm up he shoves him away taunting at the crowd as we cut to another commercial break before the main event.

Winner: Dean Vandal

Chris Cryptic

Noah Marshall

Calvin Jones
This next match is scheduled for ONE FALL! It will determine the FINAL quarter finalist moving on in our Underground Championship tournament. Introducing FIRST! From Chicago Illinois...weighing in at 205lbs...NOAH MARSHALL!!!!

"Vapors" begins to play. Noah walks out and stares at the ring for a few moments. He points at the ring and then begins to walk down the ramps, slapping the hands of the fans. Noah rolls into the ring and raises his hand to the fans applause.

And his opponent! From Sydney Australia...weighing in at 258lbs...CHRIS CRYPTIC!!!!!

“Riot” by Bullet For My Valentine begins playing through the arena speakers.  When the drums properly kick in, Chris Cryptic walks though the curtain and stands on the stage.  He holds his arms up, crossing them in front of each other, both hands in a C shape, and the fans copy him.  When The lyrics start up, Chris methodically walks to the ring to the music, putting his massive arms out to fans while not looking at them, keeping his focus on the ring.  He walks up the ring steps and steps through the second and top ropes, before mounting the second turnbuckle, throwing up his hand again in the “CC”, the fans cheering and responding the same.  Chris dismounts the turnbuckle as his music fades out.

Both men looking to move on and both men were victorious in their debuts last week. This should be a helluva match tonight folks. The Australian suplex machine takes on another suplex artists Noah Marshall. Similar styles and very different lifestyles on display tonight!

[DING DING DING]

As the crowd begins to stomp their feet in anticipation Noah and Chris circle the ring and Noah extends a hand as Chris takes it in his own. The two shake hands and nod agreeing to lock up. Chris puts pressure on Noah pushing him backwards causing him to bridge backwards. Noah comes back with a feet of strength in his own right bringing things back to center balance. Chris starts to lose the bout of strength falling backwards himself. The crowd continues to stir and stomp when Chris turns his hands rotating them up and under lifting upwards causing Noah to cringe in pain. Chris uses the chance to bullrush Noah into the corner turnbuckle. Releasing the grip Chris begins to strike Noah with his elbow as the crowd oh’s after each elbow.

The larger man taking the advantage of his size here against Noah. Make no mistake though folks Noah Marshall is by no means WEAK he is extremely talented and a grappler as well.

Chris moves in to inflict some punishment, but Noah Marhsall counters by grabbing him and delivering an awesome belly to belly overhead release suplex. Chris starts to pick himself up but Noah comes right at him jumping up and connecting with a shining wizard. Chris hits the canvas hard and Noah makes the cover.

KICK OUT!!!

ALMOST!!! Just as I said Noah is a grappler in his own right he goes out and hits a perfect belly to belly overhead release suplex!

Noah lifts Chris up and hooks him in a DDT clutch. He lifts him and falls back spiking Cryptic with a Impaler style DDT, Marshall makes another cover...

SHOULDER UP!

SO CLOSE!!! Noah is acting like a veteran out there not hesitating to make his pinning attempts and really doing what he can to seal the deal.

No Chris Cryptic kicks out and Noah can’t believe it. Noah goes to work on Chris. He stomps him for or 5 times before delivering a knee drop right to Chris' head. Noah picks Chris Cryptic up and hooks the suplex clutch and the leg. Noah snaps Chris Crypitc over for a fisherman suplex. Noah doesn't let go as he rolls through. Noah picks Chris up again and delivers another fisherman suplex again not releasing. The third time he lifts Chris up but drops him down right on his head with the fisherman brain buster before making another cover.

KICK OUT!

He can see the finish line, it’s right there within his grasp!

Noah Marshall climbs the top turnbuckle and leaps off looking for the top rope elbow drop, but Chris Cryptic rolls out of the way leaving Noah Marshall to connect with nothing but canvas. Chris gets to his feet and so does Noah. Cryptic snap mares him over and hits the ropes quickly and delivers a spinning heel kick to the head of Noah Marshall. Chris grabs a hold of Noah’s legs and steps in and drops down locking in the figure four leg lock. Noah is reaching to the ropes, pain etched on his face. He lays back and the ref counts.

HIS SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!

SHOULDER UP!

Noah pops up and tries to reach the ropes again, but they are too far. Chris refuses to tap, he tries to roll to reverse the hold, but Chris blocks it and Noah is stuck. Marshall yells out in pain and lies back down again.

SHOULDER UP!

Chris is going to BREAK Noah if he doesn’t tap soon!

Noah sits up again pain etched on his face. Chris Cryptic is sitting up facing him with a confident look on his face. Noah swings wildly at Chris and connects. Chris fires back, and both men starts firing shots at each other while locked in the figure four.  The pace of the trading shots picks up.  One time Noah punches harder and is able to gain the upper hand, continuing to punch Chris until he can escape the figure four.

Both men get back to their feet and Chris Crytpic fires off a right hand, then a forearm smash, He grabs Noah and runs toward the ropes tossing him out and over the top rope. Chris turns around and the crowd roars the approval toward them. Noah holds on to the top rope and skins the cat pulling himself back into the ring. As Chris turns around, Noah jumps up on to the middle rope and leaps off connecting with the spring board round house.

SPRINGBOARD ROUND HOUSE KICK!!!!!!!!!!!! CHRIS IS DOWN!!!!!

Noah kips up and measures Chris Cryptic. Chris is pulling himself up using the ropes as he gets to his feet Noah goes for the Saito Suplex, but Chris Cryptic blocks it by grabbing Noah’s leg. Noah looks for the enziguiri but Chris ducks that as well. Noah lands on his feet and swings at Chris, Chris ducks the attack and jabs Noah in the face backing him up. Chris quickly lifts Noah up for a snap suplex but Noah reverses it landing on his feet behind Chris. Noah shoves Chris in the back and Chris bounces off the ropes. Noah locks in a sleeper hold from behind, he explodes from the hips and smashes Chris down to the mat with the sleeper suplex. The crowd goes insane as Noah quickly makes the cover.

KICK OUT!!!!

OH MY GOD CHRIS KICKED OUT! HE’S STILL ALIVE!!!!!

Noah can’t believe it as he looks around his eyes wide and unsure what he has to do to put Chris away. Noah tells himself not to get too worried about it. He gets to his feet and sizes Chris up. Looking at him on the mat he waits watching Chris slowly crawl to his feet.

Chris is getting up but Noah is going to try and finish this right here and now. He’s gotta be looking to nail the Fatality by Suplex!

Chris stumbles around as Noah grapples him from behind and rolls with him about to snap back and finish off the Fatality by Suplex. Chris puts his hands on the mat as they roll through and he pushes up springing upwards forcing his knees to land on the forearms of Noah. The referee makes the cover.

I can’t believe Chris REVERSED IT! Incredible display by both men!

Chris leans against the corner post his hand on his head shaking off the cobwebs. Tapping his head a few times Chris eyes Noah who has gotten to his feet. Noah comes at Chris and knees him in the midsection. Noah sends Chris off of the ropes but Chris ducks Noah’s clothesline grabbing his arm and whipping him into the ropes. Noah comes running back towards Chris who grabs his opponent and spins him around hitting the swinging sideslam perfectly crushing him into the mat. Chris hooks the leg...

BOTH MEN GIVING IT EVERYTHING THEY’VE GOT! THIS IS PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING AT IT’S FINEST!!!!

Chris pounds the mat and lifts Noah back up pushing him against the corner. Chris climbs up the turnbuckles one by one in front of Noah as he starts to rain down right hands with the crowd counting after every punch. Chris makes it to nine when he winds up big for the tenth. Noah grabs underneath Chris’ legs and tosses him out forwards with a powerbomb that shakes the ring massively. Noah dives over to cover Chris.

SHOULDER UP!

This crowd is ON THEIR FEET!!!! I couldn’t agree more with them, THIS-IS-AWESOME!

Noah lifts Chris up slowly and gives him a little pat on his bald head much to the delight, cheers and laughter from the crowd. He goes to lift up Chris for a suplex but Chris tucks his foot behind Noah’s leg blocking the suplex attempt. Noah tries again and blocks it once more and again. Chris hits Noah in the midsection and Noah stops trying to attempt the suplex. Chris pushes Noah and Noah springs back only to be tossed in the air by Chris. As Noah comes down Chris uppercuts Noah viciously. Noah hits the mat on his back and bounces back up stumbling towards Chris who quickly grabs his opponent and smashes him with an exploder suplex.

MASTER EXPLODER SUPLEX!!!!! HE HIT IT!!!!!! CHRIS CRYPTIC HIT IT!!!!!!

Here is your winner...CHRIS CRYPTIC!!!!!

As Chris allows the referee to hold his arm up he uses his left hand holding behind his neck squinting his eyes obviously showing signs of wear and tear from the match. Noah starts to get to his feet and Chris offers him another handshake. The two shake hands as the crowd continues their IWF chants.

Chris Cryptic is moving on and so are SEVEN other men! EIGHT men all with chances of winning the first ever IWF Underground Champion! History will be made each week. It’s been a pleasure folks, join me next week for more RAW and GRITTY ACTION...LIVE FROM THE UNDERGROUND!!!!
