Delays

So I'll just be straight-up honest:

The show is going reeeeeeally slow.

Part of it is just because of the holiday weekend. Had some family coming to visit, so when I wasn't working, I was cleaning the house and it was cutting pretty hard into my writing time.

A big part, honestly, was just the poor showing. 10 people booked for the card, five showed.

Now, I WILL actually get this show done for the people who DID RP, cuz that's not really fair of me to just say "Fuck this, I'm out." And I do still like IWF, and do still have big plans for it. But just as I'm sure a lot of you are frustrated that you spent time RP'ing just for the other guy to no-show, I'm frustrated at planning out a cool elaborate show for half the roster to do nothing.

Again, for those who DID write: Fucking love you guys.

For those who didn't: Still love you guys (yeah, even Dex), and I understand shit comes up and sometimes RP's just don't get done (and, admittedly, I didn't send any reminders, so again, partly my fault), but that KILLS motivation to actually get things done.

Anywho. For sake of storylines and twitter hype and such, if you couldn't already gather from the RP's, the winners were pretty obvious:

-Spider def. Hannigan
-Hawk def. Libby
-Evil def. Idol
-Colt def. Rowle
-Strike def. Jacobs

I'm using this show to really turn towards that interfed-ish type idea I had before. Over the next month or so, you'll see how I'm playing this out, because I think the way I initially explained it was super confusing and didn't accurately illustrate what it is I'd like to do. I'm going to kick it off, and open the doors for anyone to hop in and join as they see fit. I think a "teach by example" approach will be a better tool for showing what I'm trying to do.

I'll discuss this further with the core IWF guys, since this will immediately impact them. But for the time being, I do owe you all an explanation for the late show, and truthfully, there aren't really any excuses. I'm just really hurting for motivation to get it done. Expect it before the end of the weekend though.
