New Competitor Attacked!

Police Report:

Earlier today, newly signed IWF Insurgent AJ Reckless was found in his Boston hotel, unconscious in the hallway, immediately outside his hotel room. Medical examination revealed that Reckless was likely attacked from behind with a blunt object, judging by heavy bruising across his back, two broken ribs, and a sizable gash which cost the man a lot of blood.

Doctors are not 100% sure of AJ's condition as of yet, but some are already predicting this to be a career-ending injury. If this is the case, it would appear Reckless will be unable to compete on the pilot episode of Battle Grounds next Saturday.

AJ was scheduled to open the show against Keith Axel, in a qualification match for the Full Throttle Tournament. So far, no details about the show have been revealed, but it is assumed that Keith Axel will win by default and move ahead in the tournament. More on this story as it develops.

It was revealed today that William Darlington, IWF's newest acquisition, has requested to take AJ Reckless's place in the Battle Grounds opening match against Keith Axel. Darlington's request has been approved, and been made official. William Darlington will face Keith Axel on Battle Grounds, in the Full Throttle Tournament Qualifier.

No news has been revealed regarding Mr. Reckless's attack. However, the official medical examination has been completed. Mr. Reckless suffered a major concussion, three fractured ribs, and a broken vertebrae in his spine. He will be out of action indefinitely, though doctor's suspect that he will never fully recover. We wish Mr. Reckless the very best.
