PostSubject: Behind every man.........   Behind every man......... I_icon_minitimeSat Oct 08, 2011 11:39 pm

It was a nice morning, the sun was out, the birds were chirping. The only thing missing was Yuko, as I woke up I noticed that he took all of his clothes and left. I just shrugged to myself and got into a bath, then put on some fresh new clothes. I spent the rest of the day helping my sisters’ move in with me at my house. I arrived at the airport just in time to meet them and after exchanging hugs and greetings; we packed up and drove back to house. After determining who gets what room, we started taking turns moving back and forth grabbing an item and placing it somewhere. We can sort it all out later, for now I was too focused on getting everything inside. Once we were done, I went on the internet where the highlight of the next IWF show is taking place. As it turns out, I'm in a match with some guy named Brandon McDonald. I clicked oh his profile page and saw his picture:

Looking at all this, I could tell I was going to be in for the fight of my life. It was bad enough that I lost to that lousy woman, and now I have to fight this guy. I took my phone and called Yuko to let him know that I need him to train me; he agreed and told me to meet up at the IWF arena. After hanging up, I shut of my computer and went downstairs where my sisters were watching T.V. I took a seat and watch with little interest, instead concerned about how I was going to go one on one with a fighter like Brandon.

Yuko Shemamora: Wow! They actually have you in the Battle for the Briefcase tournament? Talk about getting the short end of the stick.

Kurumi: What exactly is the Battle for the Briefcase?

Yuko Shemamora: I'm not sure myself but from what I heard, you have to go through 4 opponents to win a briefcase that gives you GM powers or something of that nature. You can also use it to cash in for a title match, but in doing so you will give up all your powers of being able to make your own matches.

Four people? I'm not sure if I can survive one guy.

Kurumi: Alright what can you tell me about this Brendon dude?

Yuko Shemamora: From what I've been told, he's former UFC fighter and a former IWF Heavyweight champion. With those kinds of odds against you, you really don't have much of an advantage.

I tried to process what Yuko is telling me, you mean there is no way I can beat this guy?

Kurumi: So you’re saying I'm screwed right?

Yuko Shemamora: Actually no, you might have a chance against him.

Kurumi: Why is that?

Yuko Shemamora: Remember Fallout? Brandon went one on one with Chuck Matthews in a no DQ match where the stipulation is that the only way to win is to have the manager throw in the towel. Since that didn't happen, they beat each other to a draw and the result left both men in the hospitable.
Kurumi: So what are you saying?

Yuko Shemamora: He's still recovering from that match, there's no way he's at 100% so you can count on him to be a little more careful when he fights you. It's likely that he'll bring his future wife with him to ringside so I'll accompany you during your match.

Kurumi: I'm not so sure about this.

Yuko Shemamora: Just remember to keep your distance and don't be reckless. Brandon is an expert in the ring, so you'll have to use your speed to keep him off balance.

Kurumi: I could use some moves from you.

Yuko Shemamora: Sure thing, there should be a training room nearby, follow me and I'll get you ready. I'll warn you though: I won't make it easy for you.

Kurumi: I don't expect you to; I'll fight like I'll fight Brandon.

Yuko Shemamora: That's my girl, come on let's go.

So I followed Yuko to the training room, I can care less if I win this match or not, the main thing I wanna do is survive.
