| Scene 1:When Brandy Met Mandi
Let’s flash back to 2009. Brandy was flying high within the ranks of UCW. She was undefeated and a champion. But that week, she opened up a training academy, in Dallas, with her then boyfriend, Rich. They trained many a people, and now, Brandy had found a promising young gem on the Connecticut/New England indies. Let’s listen in on their conversation.
”Like, ohmygosh! You like have so much talent and stuff! I’d love to get to know you cause you’d be like, my star student and stuff! You like, should so train at my school! I think it would so like, benefit us both and stuff!”
Mandi would then look over at Brandy, smiling. She needed the training, as being a dance just wasn't working out. She wanted to wrestle, not dance. She was not the dancing type and had recently taken a new attitude which her former teammates didn't much like. So much so in fact, that Mandi was fired from the team. She wanted to wrestle. It was her dream and this was step one in achieving that dream.
”Sure! I've dreamed of being a wrestler since I saw you in UCW, and now to have the girl I look up to, training me? This is going be amazing. I can't wait to start training! When do we start?”
Ohmygosh! She has such a fire and stuff! Such a competitve spirit that reminds me of my own in ring spirit. We both are very competitive and that would end up helping her, as much as it did me! I couldn't wait to train her! This would be fun for both of us and stuff! This would definently help her out!
“Like, slow down and stuff! I'd be glad to sign you to my school, but you're like just now eighteen. Are you sure you have the time? It's going to be a life changing process and is gonna like take a lot of your time and stuff! Are you sure you want to do it?”
Mandi would then think for a second. She did have the time. But was she willing to sacrifice everything to chase her dream? She sure thought so, or she wouldn't be doing this. But Brandy was right. This would be time consuming, and tough. But Mandi felt that she could handle it. But only time would tell.
As the scene fades away, Mandi wonders what she has gotten herself into. She would have to prove herself to Brandy, but she was willing to. But was this going to work or not? Would this end up in disaster, like her dancing job did? Only time would tell.
Scene 2: Shooting it Up
The scene then returns, in Dallas, at the school, as Mandi continued to train. AS the two stop their triaing, Brandy spoke.
”Like, this week I have someone who calls himself “Syco”. Well, like for one thing, spell it right. You missed a p and an h, moron. But enough of that. Like, you don't even know what psycho really is, but I do. How do I know? My two best friends, were once psychotic. Traumatized by the death of their mother, they snapped on anyone who mentioned it and feasted on blood. That like, puts you to shame!
As she thinks of how to react, we see Mandi standing next to her, listening. This was part of the training, as Mandi was just observing how to do a promo. As Brandy speaks again, Mandi listens.
“Now, like, that said, when we step into that ring, don't take me lightly because of the glasses, blonde hair and all this. I'm as tough as they come. A former champion myself, in like, mutliple promotions. I've come back from ankle injuries and pregnancy, to like continue what I started. And you like, know what? I'm in this to stand up for women everywhere and stuff! See, we don't just belong in the kitchen. And in this match, when I take you down for the three, I will have come one step closer to proving that, along with my protege, Mandi. Together, we look to bring honor back to the sport that other places have whorred up with their barbie doll divas who look like strippers. And like, there's a few here. I won't mention them, because I have bigger fish to fry, starting with you, Angel. In this match, you will have your Moment of Truth. Holler!” |
