| The show begins with the members of The Empire standing triumphantly in the middle of the ring. They’re all smiles. They’re all in tailored suits. They’re all there except for Parker Wayde. Already the crowd is booing as Corey Casey has the microphone. Corey Casey Greetings IWF faithful. Just in case you didn’t realize it; what you are looking at is the most dominant force ever assembled in IWF. Never before has so much talent and power resided in one place. Under my guidance, The Empire has soared to new heights, raising the bar higher than anyone ever dreamed possible. Bad Company? Really, Chuck, you should have left that buried, just like that whole company should have been buried and will be buried again. Just like your career is now buried. Upper Limit? Never lived up to its potential. Team Swag never got any traction in any incarnation. But The Empire has succeeded where all else have failed.Rick—Good evening fans, welcome to Battlegrounds.
Matt—Corey Casey is so full of bullshit, he can’t help but spread a little of it in our ring to start the show here tonight.
Rick—Better mind your mouth, I hear Jason Hawk wants an announcing job.Corey Casey Boo all you want, the nice thing about the truth is that it’s true whether you like it or not! It, like I, really doesn’t care what you people think. How can you argue this kind of dominance. Take Blaze Thompson here. May have lost the battle, but he won the war against Griffin Hawkins.Matt—How does he figure…?Corey Casey Storming Raven, stepping up to the plate and coming through in the clutch? I see big things for you, my friend. Big things. This is the start of one hell of a ride for you.Matt—Well at least that much is mostly true. Maybe it all is. We know Storming Raven won at Pick Your Poison, we don’t know what the future holds. We’ll see.
Rick—Promising young talent.Corey Casey But the biggest win, the biggest impact, the biggest event in this young alliance’s history…the cornerstone of what we are going to do and where we are going to take this company going forward? The man who will carry our flag into battle and lay the foundations of our Thousand Year Empire? None other than the man who did what nobody said could be done. The man who killed the king. The man who drew a Kryptonite sword and slayed The Black Dragon…ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new Insurgency Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion…the first World Champion this company can really be proud of since Brandon Macdonald…”The Dragonslayer”…PARKER WAYDE!The fans boo as “Final Call” by Shadows Fall blares over the arena. Out from the back walks Parker Wayde. He looks good. Armani suit. Silk tie. Handmade shoes. Gold Oakleys. And there’s also the small matter of the bauble strapped around his waist: the IWF World Heavyweight Title. A red carpet has been spread down the entrance ramp, and he strides down it in style, grinning at the fans; he couldn’t care less that they’re booing him. He climbs the ring steps and stands in the middle of the ring apron. He unbuckles the belt and holds it high in the air. Rick—He really does cut a distinctive figure. What a suit. What a champion!
Matt—Those thugs behind him helped him steal the belt!
Rick—He has it, Stygian doesn’t. End of story. Possession is 9/10ths of the law, and that’s the IWF World Champion.Jack Savage and Storming Raven hold the ropes apart for Parker to climb into the ring. Once he’s inside, he shoulders the belt, and embraces Corey Casey and Baron Thompson in a bro hug. Fireworks go off all along the entrance stage and ramp, red and gold confetti falls from the ceiling, and the crowd screams in disapproval. Eventually the music cuts out and someone has given Parker a second microphone. Parker “Dragonslayer”? That’s nice! Parker likes that. Mind if Parker keeps it?Corey Casey gestures that he doesn’t. Parker Yeah, Parker might just do that. Damn, man, this thing is heavy!Parker adjusts the belt, lifting it higher onto his shoulder. Corey Casey Do let me say how good that looks on you. And also…how good is it to have a professional world champion? Huh? Look at you! Man, look at those shoes!Parker Prada.Corey Casey Look at that suit!Parker Armani.Corey Casey And I like the shades.Parker Oakley, custom. Parker’s got a line coming out for Christmas!Corey Casey Damn…it’s good to see this. I was getting so tired of the kinds of clothes I was seeing this belt with. Anime shirts? “Swag”? That stupid t-shirt Chad Mason wore? Oh…oh…and if I had to see that belt being carried on the shoulder of a trench coat with a comic book t-shirt underneath? I was going to be sick. This…THIS! This is how a world champion should look, ladies and gentlemen. The crowd boos as Parker lowers his mic and does a smooth little twirl to show off his threads. Finally he turns to face the camera and brings the mic up to talk. Parker Get used to this, IWF. This belt ain’t goin’ nowhere! This is your future, and your future is now. Parker is your future. Parker is your future, because Parker deserves to be your future. Parker did what nobody could. James Shark couldn’t do it. Chuck Matthews couldn’t do it. Brandon Macdonald couldn’t do it.Corey Casey I’m not ashamed to stand here next to you, champ, and admit that even I couldn’t do it.Parker He was afraid of you, that’s why he broke your back. But don’t sweat that none. Parker has your back, boss. Because Parker did what nobody else could do. Parker did what everyone said could not be done. Parker admits, he failed to do it twice. But the third time? The third time was the charm. And Parker is very charmed. Parker went down to the ring, and Parker looked into the eyes of the Superman…and Parker was unafraid. Parker saw that he was a man. And Parker saw that he was scared.Matt—Parker saw that he couldn’t beat him without his boss the ref, and his buddy the hitman over there.Parker Now, Parker has heard that some people think that he does not deserve this belt. Parker hears some people saying that the match was bogus.Rick—He’s talking to you, Biggars.Parker Let Parker make one thing very clear: Parker won this title on his own. Yes, Parker’s good friend Corey Casey was the referee. But Corey Casey called that match right down the middle. In fact, Corey Casey actually slanted that match towards Stygian, if anything. Matt-WHAT?Corey Casey You’re right. I let him get away with a lot of stuff I should have called him on.Parker This is because Stygian was afraid of Parker. Stygian didn’t want none of Parker. Stygian was trying to get himself disqualified so he wouldn’t lose his belt to Parker. But thanks to parker’s friend changing that match to eliminate disqualifications? The coward Stygian had no way to bail out.Rick—See? I remember that match, Stygian was trying to get disqualified.
Matt—Yeah, once he saw that Corey Casey was refusing to call the match fairly.
Rick—He was cheating for Stygian!
Matt—What match were you watching?Parker Now of course, people wonder what Parker’s good friend Baron Thompson was doing down there in that match.Matt—We don’t wonder, we know, he was mugging Stygian.Parker Mr. Thompson here didn’t want to get involved. The crowd groans. Parker But the coward Stygian forced him to. You see, the only reason Mr. Thompson came down to that ring was to even the playing field. Stygian used an illegal move!Matt—What illegal move? It was Last Man Standing, there are no “illegal moves”.Parker Because as everyone knows, it is illegal to light a table on fire and then put a man through it in Canada. Stygian had unfairly assaulted Parker, and tried once again to cheat Parker out of his rightful title. But you couldn’t do it, Stygian.Matt—Oh for the love of…
Rick—That’s the world heavyweight champion, you should show him a little more respect.Parker Parker won the match. Parker won the title. Parker beat Superman. Parker slayed The Dragon, and now he won’t come into the same building as Parker. Parker did it. Nobody else could, but Parker did and the Dragon is gone. Here there be Par…The second half of Parker’s nme is swallowed up by the opening fanfare of Dragonforce’s “Cry Thunder” and the fans erupt. Matt—You might want to check your designer underpants, champ. I think you’re about to soil them!
Rick—What is this? Stygian shouldn’t be out here. This time is allotted to the World Champion. Stygian is the former champion, nobody cares about him anymore. The reaction Stygian gets when he walks out of the back seems to indicate otherwise. He comes alone, in a classic blue Superman t-shirt, jeans and his ever-present Wolverine boots. He wastes no time coming down the ramp. He stops off at ringside, collecting his own microphone and then climbing the ring steps and stepping over the top rope into the ring. The Empire quickly forms rank isolating the new World Heavyweight Champion from the former World Heavyweight Champion as his music cuts out. The crowd continues to chair as Stygian silently paces back and forth glaring at Parker Wayde. Finally Stygian raises his microphone and speaks. Stygian Well, well, well… I have to say Corey you know how to throw fucking party, man.Corey Casey What the fuck you doing out here Stygian? I don’t know if you noticed, but this is a private party.Stygian Yeah, guess my invitation got lost in the mail, huh?Stygian paces back and forth once more as an irate Corey Casey lowers his mic but continues to argue with the former World Champion. Stygian walks directly up to the men forming the physical barrier between himself, The Empire’s leader and The Empire’s World Champ. Stygian spares a glance towards the belt and laughs raising his microphone once again. Stygian Nice, real nice. I see that you haven’t had time to get the nameplate changed yet. Good. Don’t bother. Because last I checked every champion who’s ever been in this business gets one teeny tiny little thing every time they risk their title: a rematch clause. And mine? Mine is coming. So don’t bother getting that nameplate taken off, because you’re not keeping that belt, you just holding it until its rightful owner can come and take it back.Parker Oh, did you come out here to issue your little rematch challenge? I kick your ass before and I’ll do it again motherfucker. Hell, I’ll do it tonight! The crowd cheers loudly, certain that whenever the rematch occurs Stygian will invariably be the winner and Parker Wayde’s title reign will be indeed a short one. Corey Casey is livid, whispering in his champion’s ear. Matt–I don’t think Corey Casey wants Parker Wayde to take this rematch here tonight!
Rick–Why not? Parker Wayde could be Stygian any day the week, why not let Stygian take his rematch clause here and be done with it? Then Parker Wayde can worry about defending his title against real contenders and we don’t have to worry about this degenerate representing our company as champion ever again!Despite Corey Casey’s frantic attempts to reason with his champion, and the crowd’s enthusiastic endorsement of Stygian’s assertion that he intends to reclaim what is rightfully his, Stygian shakes his head. Stygian No, no, no. I made the mistake of going off half-cocked against you boys once. I see now that while your talent and ambition is no different than any other faction who has ever tried to lay claim over dominating IWF, you at least have a modicum of organizational skill. The way I see it; three men are responsible for me losing the World Title. Now the first, is unquestionably you Corey Casey. What am I going to do with you? What can I do? I already wrecked your Double Cage Horror streak. I already took your career. I even made your wife weep like a widow whose husband didn't come home from war. There’s not much else I can take from you. But when the time comes? Whatever I didn’t take from you in the Hellzone, I can finish taking from you anytime I want. Your a broken cripple and I can actually just finish you at my leisure. Now the second man who is responsible for taking my World Title is the man who took it: you Parker Wayde. Guess what? You get to be my date for New Years Evil period, end of sentence. That leaves the third man…you guys have your party tonight, live it up, have fun, drink champagne…whatever it is you guys feel like doing to mark…well whatever it is you think you accomplished Sunday. You guys are free to celebrate. Tonight… Stygian points with his long arm directly at Baron “Blaze” Thompson. Stygian …I just want him.Matt–Stygian once the man who cost him the title and he wants them tonight!Corey Casey Fine! You want Blaze? You got it. Stygian vs. Baron “Blaze” Thompson. One-on-one tonight!Having gotten what he wanted, Stygian looks like he will be content to leave the ring until… Matt - Dammit, did someone forget to pay the electric bill again!?!A single spotlight shines on the stage before the beginning notes of 'Uprising' by Muse begin to play. The die-hard fans of the man this song belongs to begin to stand to their feet, anticipating his arrival. Soon, several multi-colored lights go back and forth atop the stage before converging into the middle with the lone spotlight. With an explosion of pyro, the music is cranked up to an entirely higher level as the man is revealed to be Alexander Remington. The camera pans into the ring, where Corey Casey is absolutely infuriated, pacing back and forth in the ring as Remington stares at him with a sly grin, a microphone in his hand. Stygian too looks on, wondering what this is all about, and what part Remington has to play in all of this madness. The music shuts down as Alexander holds the microphone to his lips, staring down at his former peers in the Empire as they stand together in solidarity in the middle of the ring. Alexander Remington I have to say, I never thought I'd see the day where Peter Parker was able to destroy Superman in a single night. Stygian, I know that has to burn you to your core, but I have to be honest with you. Last week at Pick Your Poison, I actually was rooting for you to come out on top, both because the Empire could use a good ass-kicking and because you simply are not quite as interesting to me without that title around your waist. It's like you've lost your cape; it's like the Black Dragon's wings have been clipped, and now I look at you as a weakened shell of your former self, and where is the fun in that? I came to IWF for one purpose and that was to confront you and have our war of the ages that has forever been our destiny. Now...I'm not so sure.Stygian looks on as Alexander continues to speak. Alexander Remington Which is why my appearance here this evening isn't even about you Jason. It's about the man standing in the middle of the ring with the title that doesn't belong to him. It's about Parker Wayde, and it's about me calling him out.Quickly, Corey Casey grabs the microphone from Isabella, leaning against the ropes as his face is beat red with anger. Corey Casey You son of a bitch! You won't come within fifteen yards of that championship. I'll see to...Alexander Remington Shut the fuck up!The crowd roars in approval as Corey steps back, irate at what was taking place. Stygian Uh, well this is awkward, Alex… I did sort of just set up my…you know…rematch and all.Alexander Remington Jason, you don’t need a rematch. The whole world knows what really happened at Pick Your Poison. And I know how you think. When you come to reclaim your title once more, do you really want it to be that easy? Us? That is eventually going to happen. It will be, and should be for the title. Does it really matter which one of us brings it down to the ring?Stygian ponders this for a moment and then shrugs. Stygian Fuck it, gut the little nerd! I can find somebody else to take to Time’s Square. The crowd cheers as Stygian’s ambivalence towards whom he faces to regain the iwf world title seems to freed him up for New Year’s Evil and left the issue to be settled between Alexander Remington and if he accepts the challenge, Parker Wayde. Corey Casey surges forward, determined to get into Alexander Remington’s face, however, Alexander freezes him in place with a sharp, stark, cold glare. It is sometime in the midst of this that Stygian nonchalantly takes his leave from the ring and wanders to the back to prepare for this evening’s contest with Baron Thompson. Alexander Remington You have what's coming to you, Corey. You and the rest of your boys in the Empire have said all week that I stabbed you in the back and I stabbed the Empire in the back, but what was the one rule that I stated when I agreed to join your little band of merry men? Huh? I told you that when it comes to Griffin Hawkins, you don't get involved. You don't lay a finger on his head and you don't seek to destroy his career. Other than that, I was on board with everything you wanted, but you couldn't even give me the respect of honoring my one request. Corey, I didn't stab you in the back; you stabbed me in the back, and I knew on that night that I could never continue in the Empire. Corey Casey My promise remains Alex...you will only take hold of IWF's championship over my dead body.Alexander Remington And believe me Corey, that can be arranged. But Parker...Remington turns his attention deliberately from Corey Casey straight to the champion himself in Parker Wayde, staring straight into eyes from atop the stage. Alexander Remington Do you really want Corey Casey to be your mouthpiece? Do you really want to be the type of champion that lets your boss call all the shots? What I saw at Pick Your Poison was a man that was hellbent on being a champion, not some corporate lackey. Then again, who am I kidding? You were always the little bitch in the Empire. You were always the guy that when we said jump, you asked how high. You lack a spine, and quite honestly, you may have won the championship at Pick Your Poison, but you are nothing more than David Arquette reborn. You are a fluke, and I will prove just that.Parker grabs the microphone now, irate as well. Parker Wayde I stand with Corey Casey - you will never get a shot at...Alexander Remington Just listen to yourself Parker. Listen to yourself as you back down from a fight. Listen to yourself as you hide behind Corey Casey and all his power in order to avoid losing that which you worked so hard to obtain. You're no champion; you're a coward. Nevertheless, maybe one day you will grow a set and stop getting on your hands and your knees to appease Corey Casey. Maybe you'll one day hope to be the type of champion that Stygian over the years has personified. Yeah, that's right Jason, I gave you some respect - I'll make sure one of the stagehands gets you a copy of the tape so that you can play it over and over again at home instead of your silly Dr. Who reruns. But you Parker, I'm calling you out. You want to get me back for supposedly stabbing the Empire in the back? Fight me for that title at New Year's Evil. Put it all on the line, and you'll have your chance to do the ultimate favor for Corey Casey. You'll have the chance to rid IWF of Alexander Remington.Corey Casey grabs the microphone. Corey Casey Nice try Alex, but there's no way your venomous words will ever...Parker Wayde immediately grabs the microphone back from Corey Casey. Parker Wayde You want a fight with me, you son of a bitch? You've got it! At New Year's Evil, you've got your shot! The crowd goes nuts as a beleaguered Corey Casey shakes his head almost as if to say, “What have you done?” “Uprising” plays once more as the show fades to the Battle Grounds logo ------------------------------------------------------------ LIVE from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin------------------------------------------------------------ The phoenix sits still for a moment before exploding into flames. The scene then shows the inside of the sold out Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Fire explodes out of the four ring corners, and fireworks begin exploding up either side of the ramp before sending a massive fireworks display on the stage. A jet of flame erupts on the stage, reaching up to the screen, where the IWF Phoenix logo appears. The camera pans across the crowd, taking in some of their signs. "DragonSlayer!""1,000 Year Empire!""Steelio is God!""Hawkington!""FLAME ON!"The camera pans over back to Rick and Matt. Rick - We're back everyone and already things are heating up with the Empire and the unlikly team of Stygian and Remington.
Matt - Yeah Stygian challanged the man who cost him the IWF Heavyweight title in the main event match tonight and we now know that Parker will face Alexander Remington at New Years Evil for the strap!
Rick - We've also got other matchups tonight so I say we best cut to the action cus it's gonna be a WILD night.[center]The lights dim and "Hot As Ice" begins to play filling the entire arena. Pink strobe lights dance across the stage until stopping at the entrance where Tiffani Michaels steps out from behind the curtains dressed in her Cheerios uniform. She holds two pom-poms in her hands and shakes them high above her head with a big smile on her face bringing out cheers from the crowd. Tiffani bounces down along the ramp with her pom-poms still waving high in the air and she makes sure to toss them inside of the ring when she reaches the bottom of the ramp. Heather Thompson - The first match tonight is set for one fall, entering the ring right now, from Los Angeles California....Tiffani Michaels!
Rick - Tiffani is looking to get back on the winning track and get her title back.
Matt - Angelica Monroe better be watching..Tiffani made it clear she wants a rematch.Tiffani blows some kisses towards the crowd before she jumps up onto the ring apron in one swift movement. Tiffani grabs a hold of the top rope and she keeps her hands wrapped tightly around the rope while she springboards herself inside of the ring. She lands on her feet and smiles brightly for the crowd while waving her hands making them cheer out loud. Tiffani grabs her pom-poms from the mat and waves them one final time while the lights come back on inside of the arena. "Maneater" starts up and dark red lights come together to form one large circle at the top of the entrance ramp. The crowd begins booing as Ruby steps out from the back, a seductive smirk on her face as she looks around at the crowd. Heather Thompson - And her opponent...from Montreal Quebec Canada....Ruby Winters!
Rick - Ruby has not had much luck as of late. A win over Tiffani would put her right back in contention of the Queen of Wrestling Title.
Matt - Any chance one of these luscious ladies leaves with me tonight?
Rick - Keep dreaming lover boy. Once she spots a couple, she walks down the ramp and towards the couple, grabbing the guy and giving him a large kiss, wiping her mouth when she's done. Before she walks off, she gives the guy a wink and waves at the guy's woman. She continues her way down the ramp, the dark red lights following her, and she slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Once in the ring, Ruby stands in the center of the ring and winks at the camera before giving a seductive smirk and going over to a corner of the ring to wait for the match start. Ruby Winters [vs.] Tiffani MichaelsThe bell rings as the two engage in a grapple. Tiffani and Ruby tie up and both are going into the corner. Ruby backs off, telling the referee its okay, but then slaps Tiffani in the face. Thats enough to anger Tiffani who runs and delivers a wicked spear and begins punching on her with fists. Rick - Holy crap! look at her go!
Matt - Is this what it must be like in Griffin's bedroom?
Rick - They are just friends you pinhead! As if she's a woman possessed, Tiffani pounds Ruby's head into the mat over and over again. She scoops her up by her long red hair and throws her into the turnbuckles. She then gets a full head of steam and connects with a Handspring Elbow. Ruby stumbles out of the corner as Tiffani jumps to the second rope and hits the California Dream. Ruby goes down in a heap as Tiffani gets on the ropes and hits the Snapshot! She hooks the leg. 1... 2... 3!!! Heather Thompson - Here is your winner...Tiffani Michaels!
Rick - Wow! Just like that, it's over! Tiffani is back on the winning track!
Matt - Someone call my Bookie, I'm out 50 bucks!Tiffani celebrates, but before she could head to the back, Angelica Monroe hops the rail and hits Tiffani from behind with The Queen of Wrestling Belt! Rick - Oh come on! What a cheap shot!
Matt- She's sending a message to Tiffani!Angelica stands over Tiffani talking trash until someone runs down the rampway, its Blyss Lockhart! Angelica scatters, leaving the ring. Rick - Thats IWF's newest signee, Blyss Lockart! She looks down at Tiffani who's just getting up. She makes sure Tiffani can see her before pulling her forward by the arm and hitting a sick clothesline! Rick - What the hell!?
Matt - She's not here to save her after all!She then ascends the ropes and connects with The Blyzzard! She stands over Tiffani, looking down at her. Matt - I think her intention was to send a message to both Tiffani and Angelica that they aren't the only ones with their eyes on the gold!Blyss glares up at Angelica who looks confused as she stands at the rampway holding her title as we go to a commercial.

| ------------------------------------------------------------ Can you blame em? ------------------------------------------------------------ We return back towards the entrance ramp, just then the lights dim as "Prepare Yourself" by the Immortals begins to play. The stage light reveal a swirl of greens and blues, as Johnny Cage and Becky Valiant come out from behind the curtain. Cage walks down, wearing his sunglasses and a serious demeanor. Becky walks down grinning and getting the crowd pumped up. When they reach the ring, Cage jogs up the ring steps and walks halfway down the apron. He finally grins at the audience and a smirk crosses his face as he hops into the ring between the second and top rope. Johnny then holds the second and bottom rope for Becky, as she then enters the ring. Johnny Cage goes over to the ropes and pulls down on the top rope, stretching out. Becky continues to amp out the crowd, showcasing Johnny Cage. Heather Thompson - The following match is set for one fall, introducing first from Hollywood, California weighing in at 235 pounds, Johnny Cage!
Rick - We're back with the return of Johnny Cage as he takes on long time rival Jack Savage.
Matt - Johnny was one of the picks for the briefcase match at Pick Your Poison but fell just a bit short in the voting poll.
Rick - You have to wonder if that will serve as a motivator for Johnny.
Matt - I would imagine it will, hell I be pumped up myself if I was denied a shot at the briefcase.Am I going insane? My blood is boiling inside my veins An evil felling attacks My body's shaking there's no turning to black As you eyes start to blister There's just nope for our final embrace Howard Harvard steeps out on stage wearing a suit turns around points to the curtain as Jack Savage and Kelly Savage emerge from behind it. As Jack droops down to one knee the Kelly stands to his right side and runs her hands up down Jack's body. So here we are... I'm in your head.. I'm in your heart!Noah Philips steeps out on the stage wearing a suit and holding a silver Halliburton briefcase and stands behind Jack and Kelly. You were told to run away Soak the place, and light the flame Pay the price for your betrayal You betrayal, your betrayal! Jack Savage stands up and Howard Harvard slowly leads the group to the ring. I was told to stay away Those two word I can't obey Pay the price for your betrayal Your betrayal, your betrayal! As they group gets to the ringside Noah Philips and Howard Harvard both go over to the steeps. Howard Harvard goes up them first and is fallowed by Noah. Jack stands still as Kelly again runs her hand up and down his body. Is it my turn to die? My heart is pounding as I say goodbye So now I dance in the flames I love you crying and screaming my nameJack stands there smiling from ear to ear. As Noah and Howard both enter the ring and point down to Jack and Kelly Savage. You said that we'd be forever How could you kill me and lie to my face? Now that we can't be together There is no hope for our final embrace So here we are, I'm in your head I'm in your heart!!!Jack and Kelly both slowly make there way over to the steeps and Kelly goes up them first fallowed closely by Jack. As the reach the top Jack out stretches his arms. Kelly walks over and opens the ropes and waits for Jack. You were told to run away Soak the place, and light a flame Pay the price for your betrayal Your betrayal, your betrayal!Jack walks over to the ropes that are being held open for him by Kelly as he enters he kiss her deeply and passionately on the mouth. I was told to stay away Those two words I can't obey Pay the price for your betrayal Your betrayal, your betrayal!!Jack walks over to the right turnbuckle closest to the entrance ramp and points to himself. GO!!Jack smiles from ear to ear. As he droops down from the turnbuckle. Heather Thompson - And from Green Bay, Wisconsin weighing 230 pounds, Jack Savage!
Rick - Jack Savage has to be fuming after he failed to gain the Uprising title from that turncoat Philip last week.
Matt - Well I know he's not close to being at 100% after that war with Philip, you can see he still carries the battle scars from that match.
Rick - These two know each other very well Matt, Johnny hasen't been in the ring for some time and Jack is still licking his wounds from last week. This will be interesting to say the least. The ref checks on both men and calls for the bell. Jack Savage [vs.] Johnny Cage[Ding Ding Ding!]Johnny explodes out of the corner and takes Jack down with a clothesline, he motions for Jack to get up and he kicks him in the gut stunning him for a bit before lifting him on his shoulders and flatting him with a samoan drop. Rick - Johnny with the early offense.
Matt - Guess the ring rust didn't affect him the slightest.Jack is writhing from the impact, Johnny moves in to pick him back up but Jack rakes the eyes and moves in wrapping both arms around the waist before pulling Johnny over with a northen lights suplex. Rick - Jack with a nice counter.
Matt - But he's hurting Rick, you can see it in his eyes.Jack grits his teeth as he tries to block out the pain while he forces himself back to his feet. He turns in time to see Johnny leap up and deck him right on the temple with a head kick sending him to the mat. Rick - What a kick!
Matt - What recovery from Johnny, he's looking to be in great shape.
Rick - You have to wonder just how bad Jack's injuries are right now.
Matt - He went to hell and back against Philip, add to the fact he's fighting his arch rival Johnny tonight, the odds arn't looking good for Jack.Johnny rolls him to his shoulders and makes the cover. -1-
-2-Jack kicks out. Rick - Jack showing that toughness of his.
Matt - The guy is like an ox, he'll keep on going no matter how beat up he is.Johnny pulls him back to his feet and does some punches to the face followed with some fancy footwork as he decks Jack again. He dances back and attempts a hail mary but Jack ducks under it and throws Johnny backward using his momentum with a german suplex, pinning his shoulders to the mat. -1-
-2Johnny gets out. Rick - Jack showing some life.
Matt - Johnny got too fancy and Jack made him pay for it.Johnny gets to his feet and attempts a clothesline but Jack ducks under it while holding the arm as he twists Johnny around with a spinning neckbreaker. Jack then throws a fist to the head that knocks Johnny down, he follows up with another clobbing blow that finds home. Johnny is dazed as he gets to his feet as Jack graps his arm and whips him but holds on and pulls him back into a power slam. He makes the cover. -1-
-2-Johnny rolls the shoulder up. Rick - Jack trying to mount some kind of offense here.
Matt - He must be getting desperate, either that or he's hurting worse than he lets on.
Rick - Either way he's keeping Johnny off balance.Jack pulls Johnny to his feet and whips him to a corner, he charges but takes an elbow to the face. Johnny pulls out from the corner and aims for a roundhouse that catches Jack sqaure on the jaw and he falls to his back. Johnny pulls himself to the 2nd rope and leaps off with an elbow to the chest as he covers. -1-
-2-
-3Jack just manages to roll the shoulder up. Matt - Nice offense from Johnny, but Jack still won't stay down.
Rick - I don't know how much more Jack has left in the tank though.Johnny backs up and motions for Jack to get up, he rolls to his chest and pushes himself up, Johnny moves in with the Carnage kick but at the last minuite Jack ducks under it and pulls Johnny down into a school boy, using the pants for extra leverage. -1-
-2-
-3Johnny kicks out and Jack is just livid. Rick - Jack had a handful of pants!
Matt - But Johnny still got out!Jack turns towards the ref and argues for a moment saying that it was a three count but the ref tells him otherwise. Jack gives up and turns in time to see Johnny flying towards him with a forearm. Jack just barely manages to escape and Johnny hits the ref who falls to the floor. Howard upon seeing this slides in some brass knuckles to Jack who puts them on and waits for Johnny. Johnny who was too busy worrying about the ref, turns around and gets right on the forehead with the knuckes. The resulting blow creates a cut from the head of Johnny as Jack tosses the knucks away. Matt - Jack with that blantent use of brass knucks!
Rick - Well the ref didn't see it.
Matt - Yeah that's the only bad thing about that.Jack picks Johnny back up and hooks him in position before he nails the Savage End, driving Johnny head first into the ground. Rick - Savage End!
Matt - Just laying the damage thick.Jack goes over and shakes the ref awake as he moves over and covers Johnny, the ref calls towards them and makes the count. -1-
-2-
-3-[Ding Ding Ding!]Heather Thompson - Here's your winner, Jack Savage!
Rick - Well you can disagree with his methods, but Jack picked up a huge win over Johnny tonight.
Matt - More like stoled it if you ask me.
Rick - Like I said, you can dsagree with the method but in the end, a win is still a win.
Matt - Ah well it's back to the drawing board for old Johnny there.Jack is helpped up to his feets by his entourage while his theme plays, We go backstage where Griffin Hawkins is checking himself in the mirror. He seems to be seeing if his hair is perfect, primping it. He smiles as he looks in his reflection. Griffin Hawkins Damn I look fabulous...He grabs his briefcase and goes to leave. But he sees someone off camera. Griffin Hawkins ...Something told me I'd run into you sooner or later...The camera pans over to none other than Corey Casey who looks to be glaring at Hawkins. Corey Casey Believe me, the last thing I want to see is your ugly face..but whether I like it or not, I may be seeing more of it now that you have that briefcase.
Griffin Hawkins You just have to deal with certain things pal...Corey doesn't look to be amused as his eyes are piercing daggers into Hawkins. Corey Casey Lets make one thing clear Hawkins...your so called "big win" at Pick Your Poison was nothing more than a fluke. If Baron was in that much, the outcome would be different. As a matter of fact, its him that should be the holder of that briefcase, not you.Hawkins just shakes his head. Griffin Hawkins Casey, you've been trying to hold me down since I got here, your word doesn't mean a damn thing to me.
Corey Casey See..that right there..that's what I find so disrespectful about you. The way you carry yourself, this whole attitude you have. You act like you're so much better than everyone here.
Griffin Hawkins I don't act like I'm better than anyone, I don't need to say it. It's those people out there who say it for me. At Pick Your Poison I once again grabbed that briefcase and staked my claim as one of the greatest athletes in IWF history..and right now I am one step closer to being the man in this company.
Corey Casey Really now? You are such a fraud that it's pathetic. You walk around here like you're mr.goody two shoes, like you're so gallant and courageous. You may have everyone in the back and every one of those sheep fooled with this boy scout routine..but you don't have me fooled. Because when the Champion is down..you're not going to play the role of the White Knight, you're going to play the role of spoiler and cash in that title shot and become the Champion. You're no better than anyone here, you'll do anything to get ahead. You can put on this goody goody act all you want, but you're nothing more than a liar, a hypocrite..and a coward. Hawkins shakes his head, not amused with Corey's assessment. Griffin Hawkins Are you done now? Lets make one thing clear...boss. I never said that I was a nice guy. I've done things in this lifetime that would make you turn your stomach. I'm not a saint, I admit that. But not once have I ever lied about myself or hid behind a mask of deception. And you're right..when the Champion is down..I'll take the advantage and get the pin. Because that's what I've been doing my whole career. When I see an opportunity, I'll take it. I didn't win countless titles in my career by being nice, I reached out and took what I wanted. The difference between me and Ethan Cage, is that when he held that briefcase, he just talked about what he was going to do..he didn't have the balls to cash it in. The first chance I get, I'm going to cash it in and become a World Champion for the third time in my career.Corey's sneer then turns into a slight chuckle. Corey Casey Very riveting speech Hawkins..but you notice I left out who was Champion..Parker Wayde. You really shouldn't underestimate him. And secondly...who said you were going to live long enough to cash in that briefcase? Because I'm not going to let some lowlife degenerate like you stain the IWF Title with your grubby hands. You may have a guaranteed title shot to cash in whenever you like...but you forget who holds your fate in the palm of their hands. If I have anything to say about it..you will never become IWF Champion. If you think it's over between you and The Empire..you're wrong. I suggest you grow some eyes in the back of your head..because if you're not careful..you're going to be carried out on a stretcher courtesy of The Empire.
Griffin Hawkins Are you threatening me?
Corey Casey It can be whatever you want Hawkins. You won the battle at Pick Your Poison..but the war is far from over. Remember that..in the meantime, you have a nice evening..He gives him one last look before walking away, we cut to commercial. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ We return back with Heather ready to announce the next match up. Heather Thompson - This is a bout set for one fall!Remember the Name by Fort Minor plays as Philip Joseph walks in champagne bottle in one hand and a lovely looking girl in the other as he hands her the champagne then gets a kiss for good luck. He enters the ring and removes his shirt showing off his upper body as he waits for his opponet. Heather Thompson - Introducing first, from Hollywood, weighing 205 pounds he is the current Uprising Champion.......Philip Joseph!
Rick - Philip Joseph must be feeling pretty good about himself right now.
Matt - Well he manage to walk out of Pick Your Poison with the belt, still though you have to wonder what's in store for this young man next?Blind starts up as the light flash in time with the music, pyro goes off as the are you ready hits....the words FRANCHISE flashes across the screen as John Tolly makes his way down to the ring, he sneers at the crowd as he saunters down the ramp. As he slides into the ring before poseing in the ring Heather Thompson - And his opponet, from Champaign weighing 240 pounds, Johny Trolly!
Rick - Trolly has been drifting along the ranks of IWF, while he's been impressive in some of his matches, lately he's been on a slump.
Matt - But he's got a good opportunity right here, a win against the Uprising champion is bound to build some momentum.
Rick - These two use to be best pals till Philip turn his back on him, it will be interesting to see how they will sqaure off.Ref checks the two men and signals the bell to ring. Philip Joseph [vs.] John Tolly[Ding Ding Ding!]John and Philip lock up in the middle of the ring, John pulls him into a headlock and throws him over with a takedown still holding the head in place. Philip tries to keep his shoulders off the mat as he pulls his feet under him, they both get to a vertical base and Philip hits a few elbow shots to the side. John bounces off the ropes and Philip pushes him off, not responding in time for John who nails a shoulder tackle. John runs to the other side and Philip slides underneath, John attempts a hip toss but Philip blocks it and clotheslines him into the mat. Rick - Some fact pace action between these two men.
Mat - This is what I like, two young guns showing what they can do in the middle of the ring. John holds the back of his head and Philip leg drops him on the chest, he pulls him back up but John breaks the grip and hits a thrust to the throat. Philip staggers holding his neck as John spears him to the ground, locking the head with one arm and raining shots with the other. Rick - John just took Philip out of his boots!
Matt - He hasen't forgotten that stunt he pulled when they fought the first time around, he's making damn sure Philip isn't walking from this unscathed.Philip tries to cover up and John rolls off of him, he shouts "get up!" and waits for Philip to stand, then spears him into the corner. He then throws left and rights as the ref tells him to get him out the corner, John pulls him out only to whip him chest first into the turnbuckle. Rick - Philip just taking a beating right now.
Matt - Well I would be lying if I said that Philip dosen't deserve this, after all he did turn his back on the guy.John takes a few step and charges in with a body splash but Philip almost out of instinct drops down and John eats turnbuckle. Philip turns around and sets up on the 2nd rope and floors John with a diving cross body. He hooks the leg as the ref counts the pin. -1-
-2-John kicks out. Rick - Philip back on the attack.
Matt - Seem like he was playing possuem there, either that or he got lucky.
Rick - With Philip it's hard to tell.Philip pulls John by his hair and pulls him up for a vertical suplex, instead though he plants him face first on the mat. He makes the cover. -1-
-2-John gets the shoulder up. Matt - Not yet.
Rick - John won't be beaten that easy.Philip has a smirk as he stalks John towards the turnbuckle, he reaches down but then John grabs his arm and pulls him backward. The momentum sends Philip head first right into the metal post, he is pulled back falls to the ground. Rick - Ouch.
Matt - That rung his bell pretty good.
Rick - Philip might be out cold.John smiles as he pulls Philip back a few feet and makes the cover. -1-
-2-
-3Ref sees that Philip has a foot on the bottom rope and points to it. John lets out a groan of anger as he sees it as well. Rick - Philip able to use the ropes to save himself.
Matt - I'm amazed he was able to that after being sent head first into a metal ring post.John gets to his feet and demands Philip to stand up, Philip shakes his head and pulls himself using the ropes. John waits till he's facing him before taking a run and hooking the neck, going for the flowing ddt, Philip pushes him off and John staggers a few steps. John turns and vaults over a spear attempt as Philip rebounds of the ropes back to John, John swings with a clothesline but misses, he turns around......right into a phoenix splash that floors him. Rick - Champagne Supernova!
Matt - Stick a fork in him, he's done!Ref drops down to make the count as Philip hooks the leg. -1-
-2-
-3-[Ding Ding Ding!]Heather Thompson - Here's your winner, Philip Joseph!
Rick - Big win for the Uprising champ.
Matt - Man John came real close.
Rick - That he did, he just needs to work smarter next time.
Matt - That or find a trainer to enhance his skills, he's not gonna get anywhere at the rate he's going.Philip is handed his belt and prances around a bit while the crowd lets him have it. We then take a break.

| The Cameras come back to the arena. Kicking and Screaming is playing as the ring looks different. There's two leather couches and the mat is replaced by black mat with Skull and Crossbones on it. Hawkins is on the couch dressed in a long sleeve mesh shirt and Pink Zebra pants. He has a live mic in hand as his music stops. Griffin Hawkins Ladies and Gentlemen...welcome to the debut of the hottest show in wrestling today...The Metal Shop! I am your host..The Rock Soldier, The Rock Superstar, The Mane Event...and all around swell guy...Griffin Hawkins! Those who have seen my show in the past has seen so much controversy, it makes Piper's Pit look like a walk in the park. Here, I ask all the tough questions. In this show, there's no goofy looking Palm Trees, no big oversized TV Screen..just me and a live mic ladies and gentlemen. And I guarantee you, this talk show will be totally...Metal. Now I scoured the locker room for a guest to have on the first ever edition of The Metal Shop...and this guy is just the right one. He is a star that burns brighter than anyone I ever seen. He has been involved in the most brutal matches in IWF and is indeed a future hall of famer. He is the man...the myth......the Legend........Me! Heh Heh..just kidding...he is none other than Heaven's Gladiator and the reigning High Impact Champion...Steel Angel! The crowd pops big as "Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin hits. Steel Angel emerges from behind the ramp in his street clothes. He has the High Impact Belt around his shoulder as he makes his way into the ring. He shakes Griffin's hand as he sits on the couch opposite to him. Hawkins sits down as well. Griffin Hawkins Welcome to the Shop Steely!
Steel Angel *Nods* Thanks Griff, it's good to be here tonight.
Griffin Hawkins Indeed it is man. And I must say that was one hell of a match at Pick Your Poison, if anything you proved why you are the High Impact Champion. He smiles and nods at Hawkins. Steel Angel I thank you Griff, and congrats on your match as well. But take it from experience man, use that briefcase wisely.....you only get one shot and shot only to become World Champion. Trust me....I would know.
Griffin Hawkins I'll keep that advice in mind bro. But enough about me....lets talk about you. In the last few weeks you've been on a red hot tear. Ever since you beat Parker Wayde for that strap, you've been unstoppable. Everybody who challenged you for that title, you beat them and proved yourself to be a fighting Champion. Did you expect it to get this intense?
Steel Angel *thinks about it for moment* Well Griffin, I'm sure you know better than anyone else that when you're a Champion......everyone is gunning for you. *Hawkins nods going "Yes I do" * When you hold a belt such as this, you might as well be painting a big red target on your chest. But see the thing about me is, I welcome the competition. I've never backed down from anyone since winning this belt, and I don't plan to anytime soon.
Griffin Hawkins *Nods in approval* That's the type of Champion Insurgency needs. Not some gutless wonder like Parker Wayde who needed the help of half the planet to become Champion.
Steel Angel One thing for sure......you'll never see me needing the aid of the boss and the rest of his pals to help me retain the strap. Because unlike Parker, I believe in winning matches and Championships on my own. Every belt I've won I've defended, and I've done so on my own terms.
Griffin Hawkins Thats awesome to hear bro..but the question is...who's next to step up to the plate?
Steel Angel *smiles* I'm glad you asked. There is a long line of contenders in that locker room...a lot of them would indeed make a hell of a challenge. But only one can fight me for the belt. Therefore, I am issuing an open challenge to anybody for a one on one title match at New Year's Evil, title on the line!Just as he said that, "Omen" by Prodigy blasts in as both Hawkins and Angel get up from their couches and look towards the ramp. Devlin Raine comes out with a Mic in hand. Devlin Raine Wait a minute......wait a minute. I hate to crash this little party, but I think I heard Steel Angel call out anyone in that locker room for a title match. Well Steel, what I want is redemption. I know that I can beat you..and I will prove it at New Year's Evil when I kick your ass and take your pretty little belt!
Steel Angel *shakes his head as he laughs* And what on god's green earth makes you think you deserve a title shot? Didn't I already beat you at Pick Your Poison? You've lost to me three times already, what makes you think yo can beat me this time around?
Devlin Raine You were the better man that night Steelio..but you won't be at New Year's Evil. All I need is one shot..and you'll be looking at the new High Impact Champion! What do you say...Champ? What are you..scared?Steel frowns a bit but before he can reply, "Is this real" by Saosin blasts through the arena and the fans get on their feet as Gordon Fury comes onto the ramp with a microphone. Griffin Hawkins How many microphones does Insurgency own?!
Gordon Fury Whoooaaaa slow your role there Dev. Last time I checked, when you blow an opportunity you go to the BACK of the line. You have had your shot Dev, now its time for you to move aside.Gordon stares directly at Steel. Gordon Fury Steel, you and I both know I deserve this shot. Since arriving in IWF I have made every opponent I stepped in the ring know they have been through a war, and I have torn this place apart and made people notice me from the moment I signed on the dotted line. I deserve this shot.Gordon smirks. Gordon Fury: Unless of course you are scared of a challenge, and would prefer to take another easy win? Both Devlin and Steel don't seem happy at this remark, but Griff steps in before things get out of hand. Griffin Hawkins Okay...I'm starting to lose control of my show here. It's turning into an episode of Jerry Springer! But you know what? I like that. This is an equal opportunity show for everyone. Steelio, which one of these two do you want to face at New Year's Evil?
Steel Angel *pretends to think, then his face lights up as he paces around* Well........ok both want a shot and both have made valid points. Honestly though I can't decide on which one to face. However.........I got a hell of an idea that'll make all parties satisfied. What I am suggesting is a best 3 out of 5 series between Raine and Fury. And the winner of that match will get a title shot at New Year's Evil! The crowd pops for that decision. Gordon Fury Sounds good to me, I'll have beating Devlin down to an art form.
Devlin Raine Just tell me where to sign.
Steel Angel Now now guys......its not going to be that simple. He gets out of the ring and heads towards the ramp where the two are standing. Steel Angel In this series, I will pick the matches. This will be all about who wants it more. This week will be a single match where all rules apply.....but after it......I get to decide the stipulations. So, I'll see you..*He looks at Raine* Or you...*he looks at Fury* at New Year's Evil.He heads towards the back. Fury and Raine go nose to nose, trash talking one another as we go to a break. ................................................................................. We return back to where Griffin Hawkins is still in the ring, having removed the shirt as he awaits his opponet for tonight. The lights go out and a haunting Native American chant sounds through the arena, a low fog rolls down the entrance stage and ramp surrounding the ring. Then the opening chords of "What if" blare through the arena as Storming Raven slowly walks out onto the stage, completely focused not paying any attention to his opponent. Suddenly he sprints down to the ring and slides in before standing in front of his opponent with an intense glare, showing no fear. Heather Thompson - This match is set for one fall, making his way to the ring first from Laredo,Texas weighing 251 pounds Storming Raven.
Rick - We're back and Steel had just laid the gauntlet tonight for Devlin and Gordon.
Matt - That's right Rick, a 3 out of 5 series match. That means whoever wins the first three matches will face Steel for the High Impact belt at New Years Evil!
Rick - And what's more each week, Steel gets to pick the stipulation for their match.
Matt - The first series will be tonight, man I can't wait for that.
Rick - Right now though we have a matching between the new breifcase holder Griffin Hawkins and Storming Raven.
Matt - Should be quite a match. The ref gets ready to ring the bell but Griff stops him and holds a mic to his hands. Griffin Hawkins Hold on a sec there ref, I thought we should make this match a little interesting. He picks up his briefcase and holds it for a moment. Griffin Hawkins Since this baby here let's me make and match I want, how's about we have a casket match right here, right now?The crowd roars in apporval Rick - Griff using that case.
Matt - And he made quite a match there.
Griffin Hawkin Well then, can we get another offical to bring us a nice casket down here? Then we can let the games begin! He tosses the mic away and sets the case aside as another offical comes in rolling a casket towards the ring apron. Once it's set in place the ref in the ring checks on both sides and ask if they are ready, both nod and the ref calls for the bell. Casket matchGriffin Hawkins [vs.] Storming Raven[Ding Ding Ding!]Griff runs in and ducks under Storm's arm, he turns around and gets superkicked right in the face. Rick - Shot in the dark!?
Matt - Griff not wasting any time here.Griff sees the open case and drags Storm towards it, rolling his limp body until it lands inside. He then jumps out the ring and shuts the casket closed as the ref calls for the bell. [Ding Ding Ding!]Heather Thompson - Here's your winner, Griffin Hawkins!
Rick - Well that was likely the quickest casket match in history!
Matt - No kidding, Griff made short work out of Storming. As Griff walks away with his case, we see Alexander Raven jump the barricade to where the case is. Rick - What the hell!? That's Alexander Raven!!
Matt - He must want payback for Pick Your Poison!Raven takes out the officals surrounding the casket, he grabs some gas from under the ring and pulls the casket back towards the ramp and stops at the middle. He doses the casket and lights a match, hanging it over the gas soaked coffin. Rick - Oh my god no! Don't do it Raven!
Matt - Storm is trapped in there! He's gonna burn him alive!Raven drops the match and the casket goes up in flames, he laughs as the officals try to get between him and the burning casket. Suddenly the lights go out and when they come on, the casket is gone. Rick - What the hell!? What just.....?
Matt - The casket........it's gone.......
Rick & Matt - .................
Rick - Let's take a break.
Matt - Way ahead of ya.We take a moment as the camera fades away. ............................................................................................ Get your flaming casket now, complete with Storming Raven toy to put inside. ............................................................................................ We return to Heather for the next match. Heather Thompson - The following is a best of three series set for one fall, the first to win the first three matches will face the High Impact champion at New Years Evil! Introducing first........The opening riffs of “Is This Real” by Saosin blasts through the arena, causing the fans get on their feet Time's runnin' out and I have been betrayed Gotta cast my stone into the lake (it didn't work, I didn't feel it sink in)Gordon Fury bursts through the curtain to the cheers of the fans, the hood of his Jacket half covering his face. He riles up the fans before throwing his hood back. That's all it takes my son then you are safe When the end comes, everything's okay (we take it back, you take it away) He quickly darts down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. He then waits as the bottom of the steel steps. Take my skin, we're diving in It doesn't make a difference if I sink or swim Theres a line drawn thin or so they tell me I'll never know the difference if we..sink or swim!Gordon quickly climbs the steps and enters the ring, immediately climbing the nearest turnbuckle, before taking of his hoodie and throwing it into the crowd, causing them to react even more. He then jumps off and run to the opposite corner, climbing that turnbuckle and riling up the fans. Is it real, the choices that we make (is it real) The smiles that we fake (is it real) I know it hurts but is it real The choices that we make The smiles that we fake for my own sake I know it hurts but is it... Gordon jumps off the turnbuckle and waits in the corner as the song fades out. Heather Thompson - From Mackay, Australia weighing 210 pounds, Gordon Fury!
Rick - We're back with the start of the best of three series between these two young rising stars. The one person to win the best of three series will face Steel Angel for the belt at New Years Evil.
Matt - Man Steelio really knows how to set the bar, he wants to see what these guys are made of. It's going to be the case of who wants it more.
Rick - Indeed, Steel made the open challange and Gordon alongside Devlin would answer. However only one of these men will face the champ.
Matt - Personaly I want Gordon to win this, mainly cus I would like to see how he would fare against a man like Steel.Static burst on the Screen , the lights go out an a spotlight forms on Devlin as he slowly strolls out to the chords of "Omen" Looking about the arena with a smile as he then bounces down the arena and then picks up the pace, sunglasses and jacket coming off as the lights raise and he salutes the crowd, sliding easily under the bottom rope and preparing for his opponent after heading atop a turnbuckle and giving the crowd another salute , a foot sliding across him in the middle of the ring as if saying "Here's the line, Come cross it" Heather Thompson - And the challanger from Chiago, Illinois weighing 235 pounds Devlin Raine!
Rick - This guy just dosen't know when to call it quits.
Matt - He's the little engine that can, you can't help but admire the heart and determination of this guy.
Rick - I can't deny that this guy is relentless, we've seen him go toe to toe with Steel and comming close each time they sqaured off. Devlin needs to beat Gordon if he wants another shot though.
Matt - Won't be easy though, Gordon has been on a roll lately, going to hard to bring him down.Ref checks both men before he calls for the bell. Best of Three Series- Match OneWinner of the Best of Three Series will challenge Steel Angel for the IWF High Impact Title at New Year’s EvilGordon Fury [vs.] Devlin Raine[Ding Ding Ding!]Devlin and Gordon lock horns and Devlin fires the first shot with a slap to the face. Gordon holds his lip for a moment and returns fire with a slap of his own. Devlin then shoves Gordon who shoves him back and then it becomes a slug fest with both men hitting lefts at each other. Gordon pushes Devlin back and whips him to the corner and follows closely behind, Devlin backflips off the corner as Gordon bounces off the turnbuckle. Gordons runs in as Devlin is on the rebound and attempts a head siccors, Gordon rolls through it and grabs Devlin as he runs in with a sidewalk slam motion but Devlin uses the momentum to flip his entire body around and he plants Gordon with the sea fire slam. Rick - Nice series of moves and Devlin takes advantage.
Matt - These two are so similer with their styles, both are high flyers and I expect them to use that arsenal in this match.Devlin gets to his feet and pulls Gordon back up, he knees him to the gut and takes a run back to the ropes and leaps over Gordon's head, he pulls forward throwing his entire body while hooking Gordon's arms and hits a sunset flip bomb. He rolls backwards and leaps the top rope, he attempts a swanton bomb but Gordon gets the knees up and Devlin crashes. Gordon then rebounds off the ropes and leaps over Devlin's head just as he got back up, twisting mid way as he drops him with a split legged jawbreaker. Gordon springs up and hits a high knee to the face driving Devlin to the corner, Gordon then springs for the 2nd rope and hits a dropkick to the face of Devlin who slumps in the corner. Rick - Gordon with the upper hand.
Matt - He's got the momentum right now, Devlin better think of something.Gordon waits until Devlin is up on his feet before charging in, Devlin flips him over the ropes but Gordon stays on the apron. He leaps while holding the top rope and kicks Devlin right on the head, he then waits till Devlin faces him before he slingshots over the top rope. Devlin matrix moves as Gordon flies over him and rolls through, Gordon towards Devlin who drop toe holds him to the mat and flips over Gordon and runs to the ropes. Gordon pulls himself up and vaults over Devlin, he rebounds as both men charges towards each other. Gordon drops down and takes Devlins by the kneecap which causes Devlin to flip over to his back as he grabs the leg in pain. Rick - Really face pace action here, I love it.
Matt - Just goes to show what people will do for a shot at the High Impact belt.Gordon moves in with a Dragon sleeper clutch but Devlin kicks him in the head and trips him down. He goes for the cover but Gordon kicks out before the ref has a chance to drop down. Gordon then sweeps Devlin to the ground and covers but Devlin would kick out before the ref could make the count. Both men spring to their feet as the crowd is going wild. Rick - Listen to this ovation.
Matt - They are getting their money's worth Rick, that's for sure.Gordon and Devlin would tie up, Devlin goes downstairs and tries for a spinning neckbreaker. Gordon rolls out of it and charges into a double palm strike to the gut that bring him down to one knee, Devlin runs in with the Raine of Terror but Gordon ducks under the shot. Gordon leaps over and drives Devlin down with the throwback, he then climbs the top rope and tries for the shoot star press, but Devlin rolls out of the way. Both men are laid out as the ref counts away. -1-

-3-
-4-
-5-Both men get back to their feet, Gordon swings wildly at Devlin who ducks under and then hooks both arms of Gordon and tries teh dragon suplex. Somehow Gordon backflips out of it and lands on his feet, he ducks under a clothesline and nails the Dread Spike bringing Devlin straight down. Rick - Dread Spike!
Matt - Gordon could win this.Gordon moves in to makes the pin but suddenly Devlin pulls Gordon into a small package pin. -1-
-2-Gordon kicks out. Rick - How did Devlin do that?
Matt - I don't know but he almost got the win there.Gordon stumbles to his feet as Devlins pulls him up and hits the 4th Wall Buster, he makes the cover. -1-
-2-
-3Somehow Gordon kicks out of it. Rick - 3! No Gordon kicked out!
Matt - Not often you see someone kick out of the 4th Wall Buster.Devlin picks Gordon back up who drops down and hits a jaw breaker, Gordon waits until Devlin turns around before picking him up in a burning hammer position. Devlin slips behind him and pulls Gordon back into a german suplex pin. The ref counts it. -1-
-2-
-3Gordon once again kicks out. Rick - Still not enough!
Matt - What will it take to beat Gordon?Devlin pounds on the mat in anger, he stands up and signals for the end. He waits for Gordon and lifts him up for the 4th Wall Buster. Rick - This could be it right here.
Matt - There's no way Gordon can kick out of two 4th Wall Busters.Gordon however shows some signs of life and creates enough space to swing himself forward and spike Devlin right on the head with a massive ddt. Devlin's whole body springs up like a board standing up and flops back down. Both men catch their breath as the ref counts. -1-
-2-
-3-
-4-
-5-
-6-
-7-Devlin and Gordon crawl to the ropes and use them to pull themselves up, Devlin out of deperation moves out of his side and tries to take Gordon's head off with a clothesline. Gordon ducks while running to the ropes, Devlin turns around in time for Gordon to spear him right now the mat. Rick - Fury Impaler!
Matt - Devlin's in trouble.Gordon has a smirk on his face as he pulls Devlin who is out of it, he lifts him up into a burning hammer position, then throws him in mid rotation driving his face right into Gordon's knee. Rick - Wow what a move!
Matt - I think he calls that the Skyfall Gillotine.
Rick - Well it knocked Devlin out, that's for sure.Gordon rolls Devlin over and counts the pin. -1-
-2-
-3-[Ding Ding Ding!]Heather Thompson - Here's your winner, Gordon Fury!
Rick - And Gordon gets the first fall of the series.
Matt - Don't forget though, next week Steel chooses the stipulation for the next match.
Rick - One can only wonder what Steel has in mind for these two next week.
Matt - For now though to the victor go the spoils.Gordon plays to the crowd for a moment before we cut backstage to where Sean Libby is seen dancing when he sees Philip. His eyes are on his Uprising title, Philip looks up at him with a frown on his face. Philip Joseph What are you looking at?Sean Libby Ya know man......think I'm finally ready to be wearing championship gold…and that I’d love to be rolling into parties with a good lookin’ title like that belt you have on your shoulder.Philip looks at him like he's.....welll.....crazy, he laughs and adjust the belt on his shoulder. Philip Joseph Dream on pal, I've decimated everyone that has tried to step up and take this title. Rest assure punk that if you think you can take this from me? You will fail miserablyHe brushes past Sean who turns back to him with a smirk, we then take a break. .............................................................................................................. The camera cuts back to the ring as Heather prepares to announce the next match. Heather Thompson – The following contest is scheduled for one fall!Suddenly the lights begin to fade, the beginning tones of "Uprising" by Muse beginning to play. Multi-colored lights begin to stream across the top of the stage, looking for the one whose music this belongs to. With a huge explosion of pyro, Alexander Remington stands at the top of the stage, the lights converging on his position as he cracks a smile at the fans who are on their feet cheering for him. Walking down to the ring, he jumps up onto the side apron, taking a look at the crowd before entering into the ring in between the top and middle rope. Heather Thompson – Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 265 pounds... Alexander Remiiingtoonnnnnnn!Rick – Remington gearing up for action here tonight. His arm looks better than ever after his time off, and he looks ready to go. Matt – Yeh but looks can be deceiving Rick. Besides, Remington is a man on borrowed time. You don't just turn your back on the Empire and expect to be left alone. Remington goes and waits in a corner as histheme fades out. When it does, “You be Tails, I'll be Sonic” by A Day to Remember plays through the arena. “I’m a mess That's the best way to describe it Having no time to myself is the only way I can fight it When I'm alone it's like I'm staring into a mirror Don't know the person inside it and that's never been any clearer.”Alex exploded out from behind the curtain arms swung out wide to his sides, a cocky grin spread across his face. His head bobbing slightly with a slight bounce as he takes a few slow dramatic steps forward, his arms slowly lowering to himself, the grin slowly fading into a smug look upon his face. Placing his hands on his hips he stood at the top of the ramp, and gazed over the popping crowd, the boos and remarks towards him causing a cocky anger to blaze across his eyes. “I miss your family and I miss all our friends If you had it to do over would you do it over again, Cause I would, this meant something more to me There's a hole in my heart where you used to be I still wish you the best of luck, baby And don't go thinking this was a waste of time I couldn't forget you if I tried”Raven would jog into the face of the crowd on the left side of the ramp, snarling and growling into the faces of the crowd, slapping hands down and back, and allowing saliva to spew from his mouth, spittle flying from his mouth as nods his head up and down roughly, bouncing as he goes down the length of the left side of the aisle, running over to right side and doing the same, before collapsing down onto his knees in the middle of the ramp, stretching his arms to the roof. Heather Thompson – And his opponent, from Salem, Oregon, weighing in at 189 pounds... Alexander Raaaaaaavvveeennn!Rick – This match is not going to pretty Matt. Matt – No kidding. Not only is there history between these two men, but Raven has got to be looking to bounce back after the loss to Storming Raven at Pick Your Poison. “You killed what was left of the good in me I'm tired so let me be broken Look down at the mess that's in front of me No other words need be spoken And I've got nobody else to blame though I tried Kept all of our past mistakes held inside I’ll live with regret for my whole life”Alex clutched at his chest and flicked his head back. He then moved to place his hands on his head, rubbing the back of skull over and over, breathing out heavily, his chest raising and dropping with each heavy exaggerated breath. As soon as the word ‘no’ escapes the speakers he thrusts himself onto his feet and sprints at the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and into the ring, rolling up onto his feet, swinging his arms out to the side. The cocky, angry grin spreads across his lips. “I confess that I brought this all on myself Condemned to suffer alone, like there's nobody else When you're gone, it's like a whole part of me’s missing So I'll keep living the lie and just hope that you're listening I tried to make us a life here But our foundation was built on sandNo time to run until the damage was done And I’ve never had the upper hand”Raven would leap up onto the top right turnbuckle and looking over the crowd, grinning brightly shaking his head a little. Falling off the turnbuckle he bounced on his feet a few times as the music begins to fade away. Alexander Remington [vs.] Alexander Raven[Ding, Ding, Ding!]Both men circle each other before locking up in the center of the ring. Remi gets the advantage due to his size, and rushes Raven into a corner. He throws several right hands into Raven's face before the ref comes over and breaks it up. Raven charges out of the corner trying to blindside Remi with a clothesline, but the shot seems to have no effect. He runs back into the ropes and tries another clothesline, but it has the same result. He goes back a third time, but on the way back in Remi lifts him up and drops him down hard with a spinebuster. Rick – Remington's strength advantage giving him the edge in the early going.
Matt – He has to be careful though Rick, Alexander Raven is insane.Remington now goes on the attack, picking Raven back up and landing a series of hard right hands. He follows it up with a vertical suplex, but instead of going for the cover, he floats over with Raven taking them both back to their feet. He then makes a quick transition before nailing him with a northern lights suplex, before once again bringing both men back to their feet. Remi then quickly spins Raven around before slamming him down hard on the back of his neck with a german suplex, before finally bridging for the cover. -1-
-2-
Matt – Raven rolls the shoulder up.
Rick – What an impressive series of suplexes by Alexander Remington.Remi gets Raven back up before irish whipping him into a corner. He then charges in full steam, but Raven gets both boots up, nailing Remi right in the chin, knocking him down. Raven then aggressively stomps on Remi as he tries to get up, before raining relentless punches on him as Remi uses the ropes to get back to his feet. After the ref breaks it up, Raven runs and bounces off the ropes before charging into the corner and nailing Remi with a spinning heel kick right on the chin. Remi staggers a few steps out of the corner, and Raven capitalises as he springboards off the ropes and spikes Remi into the canvas with a DDT! The cover. -1-
-2-
Rick – Kickout at two for Remington.
Matt – Raven may be looking to fly!Raven stares down with hate filled eyes at Remington, before climbing to the top rope. He waits for Remi to rise before diving off with a flying clothesline, but Remi sees it coming and he grabs Raven around the throat in mid-air, using his own momentum to bring him down with a huge chokeslam! Remington hooks the leg! -1-
-2-
-3-
Rick – Kickout at the last second!
Matt – That was close Rick! Real close! Remington takes a few seconds to catch his breath, before he flips Raven onto his stomach. He then intertwines his legs with Raven's, before grabbing his arms and pulling back into a surfboard submission hold. Raven screams out in pain, and the ref keeps a close eye on Raven to see if he gives up. Remington keeps the hold on for as long as he can, before he pushes Raven off. Remington goes to pick Raven back up, but as he does Raven rakes his eyes, before bringing Remi down with a swinging neckbreaker. He floats into the cover. -1-
-2-Remi kicks out at two. Raven then gets back to his feet and stares out to crowd with an evil grin on his face, causing the fans to boo, before starting a Remington chant. REM-ING-TON! REM-ING-TON! REM-ING-TON! Raven stalks Remi as he gets back to his feet, and tries to set him up for the Raven's Rage, but Remi uses his strength to push him back into the ropes. Remi jumps up for Cashflow, but Raven grabs the ropes, sending Remi back first to the canvas. Raven goes for a springboard moonsault, and Remi goes to counter it by getting his knees up, but Raven lands on his feet, before grabbing Remi's legs and flipping into a jackknife cover! -1-
-2-
-3-
Rick – No! Remington powers out just before 3!
Matt – Raven is not slowing down though!Raven goes back to the well as he goes for a springboard crossbody as Remi gets back to his fe- Rick – CASHFLOW! Cashflow out of nowhere!
Matt – Raven got caught in mid air, and there was no way to go but down! The fans explode in cheers as Remington goes for the cover! -1-
-2-
-3-[Ding, Ding, Ding!]
Heather Thompson - Here is your winner... Alexander Remingggtooonnnnnnn!Rick - Remington picks up a hard fought win here tonight Matt.
Matt - Raven put up quite the fight, but Remington was indeed the better man.The fans are on their feet again as "Uprising" plays through the arena. The ref goes over and raises Remington's hand before Raven stirs. Remington stares down at his fallen opponent as he tries to get back up, before giving him a nod of respect. He offers his hand to Raven to help him up, but Raven stares at the hand like Remington just slapped him in the face, before rolling out of the ring. Raven doesn't seem at all impressed at Reminton's attempt at sportsmanship as he heads up the ramp, leaving Remington in the ring. The cameras cues in on the back view of a robed figure. There are candles burning to the left and right of this figure. The figure also appears to be standing in front of a pulpit, in which a reaper's scythe is leaning against. Wind howls through the microphone of the camera as the candles' flames dance in the wind. A voice, dark and demented, carries with the wind almost in a whisper. ??? Revelations 1 and 3: Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. A brief flash goes in front of the screen, numbers scrawled in blood on pavement is what it appears to have shown. "12-12-12" The voice continues. ??? Revelations 12 and 9: And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.Another brief flash is shown. This time it is an image of a picture of Stygian, burning. The voices continues yet again. ??? The first book of Peter 1 and 20: He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you. This time the image flashes even quicker than before, and it is of the robed figure, it's face we cannot see. ??? Revelations 6 and 7: I heard a voice that said 'Come and See.' And I looked, and behold a pale horse. And his name that sat upon him was Death, and Hell followed with him.A final image flashes several times, of this robed figure sitting atop a pale horse. The flames of the candles dance wildly as the wind's howling has become more aggressive. The robed figure removes its hood and raven hair is revealed, flowing down and sitting atop the shoulders of this figure. The figure begins to turn around just as the wind whips out the flames of the candles. The camera is left to complete darkness as the voice says one final line. ??? Come and see. The time of Revelations has begun. The reckoning has come unto your doorstep. Look before you and you shall see he who sits atop the pale horse. Come and see, and you shall know the face of Death. Lo and behold, Death comes for you everlasting soul. I am Death, and it is your time to pay your toll across the river Styxx. The time has come for you to follow the Reaper.Thunder claps loudly as lighting flashes. The face of the Grim Reaper that has plagued the IWF for weeks is finally revealed. Crimson Skull is the enigmatic figure behind the robe. The camera is left to complete darkness once again, as his demonic laughter echoes on and on. A few chords from a song play as a vocalist eerily sings these words. "Ohhh Death. Won't you spare me over till another year."

| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rick - One of the originals in IWF, and one of the founding fathers. Brandon Macdonald has had this moment coming for a long time, and it's good to see he finally gets the recognition he deserves.
Matt - That show will be in two weeks, just before New Year's Evil, where-Matt is cut off by loud rap music blaring through the speakers. Matt - Who in the hell...Logan MacLeod walks out onto the ramp, holding a microphone. Logan MacLeod Is this some kind of joke?Rick - Who is this guy?
Matt - Logan MacLeod! Porter's son!
Rick - The guy from Bad Company?Logan MacLeod It's a sad day for wrestling when someone like Brandon Macdonald ass-kisses his way into a Hall of Fame spot...but to do it this quickly, when there are so many more who deserve it? That's nothing short of a travesty.Logan looks around at the people. Logan MacLeod I won't say anything further about this matter just yet, but I want you all to think about something. I want you to think about what Brandon Macdonald has done here in IWF. I want you to think of what makes him deserve this honor. I want you to think of what it is that he's done that nobody else in IWF has been able to do better. Think about that, ladies and gentlemen, and I think you will find that you will be much more inclined to listen to what I have to say.Logan walks off, as we cut to Heather ready for the next match The lights fade out as the sound of a bell tower rings throughout the arena, a few more moments fly by before... "Unleash the warrior within!"Pyro sets off from both sides on the entrance ramp in the form of a pair of angel wings with the words "Heaven's Gladiator" appearing in crystal blue letters on the titantron. A single platform can be seen being lowered at the ramp revealing Steel Angel and Marley Jones standing at the center. Steel Angel is wearing a white and blue warrior tunic with angel designs decorated on the back and a gold cross shape tapestry on the front. Marley is wearing a light blue warrior tunic with feathers decorated on it and long leather boots. Steel's long black hair flows in the air as he stares at the crowd before him. They fall in line, one at a time Ready to play (I can't see them anyway) No time to lose, we've got to move Steady your helm (I am losing sight again)Steel Angel and Marley jump off the platform and they both bow before fans as they shower them in cheers. Steel Angel then walks slowly towards the ring every step with purpose, every movement loose and flowing while Marley holds his arm following his every move. Fire your guns It's time to run Blow me away (I will stay, in the mess I made)
After the fall We'll shake it off Show me the waySteel Angel then stops at the end of the ramp where he brings his hands together with the middle and index fingers joining together pointing straight out with the other fingers curled together overlapping one another. He then moves his hands while in this symbol up, down, left and then right in the form of a cross before bringing both middle and index fingers to his lips and kisses them. He then separates his hands as he points to the sky unleashing blue pyro from the entrance ramp. Only the strongest will survive Lead me to heaven, when we die I am the shadow on the wall I'll be the one to save us allSteel Angel then walks around the ring slapping high fives with some of the fans before climbing through the second rope and enters the ring. Marley walks to one side and claps with the fans as she watches him. There's nothing left, so save your breath Lying in wait (Caught inside this tidal wave) Your cover's blown, no where to go Holding your fate (Loaded I will walk alone)He smiles as looks around the ring, he then poses which causes the fans to cheer some more. Fire your guns It's time to run Blow me away (I will stay, in the mess I made)He then removes the tunic and takes it off showing his ripped features to the ladies in attendance some of whom scream in delight before he hands it to Marley. He is also wearing gold karate style pants with white flame like designs on the ankles and the words "Steel Angel" written in black latin like writing on the sides. After the fall We'll shake it off Show me the wayHe then moves to the center of the ring and forms the same hand gesture he did at the end of the entrance ramp. This time as he ends the gesture by pointing to the sky that white pyro erupts from the corners. Only the strongest will survive Lead me to heaven, when we die I am the shadow on the wall I'll be the one to save us all Wanted it back (Don't fight me now!)He then tilts his head from side to side and he gets ready for his match. Heather Thompson - The following is a one-fall match! Introducing first...from San Diego, California, weighing 220 pounds...he is the current High Impact Champion...STEEL ANGEL!!!Rick - Steel is a former IWF Champion himself, winning it from James Shark, and holding it for a month before losing the belt to Chad Mason.
Matt - You're supposed to be building him up, not tearing him down. Steel Angel is IWF's first triple-crown champion!
Rick - Interesting.
"Final Call" plays throughout the arena. Parker Wayde walks to the ring, the IWF Championship around his waist. He slides into the ring, looking at Steel. Heather Thompson - And the opponent...from Winston-Salem, North Carolina...weighing in at 247 pounds...he is the current IWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION...PARKER WAYDE!!!!!Matt - The man who dethroned Superman.
Rick - This guy has been the talk of the wrestling world all week! Some say he stole the belt, other's say he was simply the man to beat Stygian, but no matter how you slice it, one thing is irrefutable: This man right here is the IWF Champion.
Matt - I still can't believe it.The referee takes the belts from the two men and hands them to the ringside official. He looks to each competitor and calls for the bell. Parker Wayde [vs] Steel Angel[Ding! Ding! Ding!]Parker and Steel tie up in the center of the ring. Matt - And this one is underway!
Rick - Steel Angel, the High Impact Champion, against Parker Wayde, the NEW IWF Champion.
Matt - STILL IN SHOCK.Parker forces Steel into the corner and unleashes a vicious kick to the midsection. Steel shoves Parker away. He charges, taking Parker down with a stiff clothesline. He lifts Parker up, and throws him to the ropes. Parker rebounds off. Steel tries to catch him with a back body drop, but Parker rolls across Steel's back, landing behind him. He drives his elbow into Steel's back. Steel stumbles forward a step. He turns and charges Parker again. Parker drops down, taking Steel to the mat with a drop toehold. He rolls over Steel, and locks in a crossface. Rick - Already, a submission locked in.
Matt - Parker doesn't get paid by the hour.Steel struggles in the hold, but Parker only cranks more pressure. Steel inches towards the ropes, reaching desperately for them. His fingers brush the bottom rope, but he can't quite grab hold. He creeps closer, and finally lunges, grasping the bottom rope. The referee begins the count. "1" "2" "3" "4"Parker releases the hold, getting to his feet. He delivers a sharp kick to Steel's ribs. He lifts Steel to his feet. Steel drives his elbow into Parker's gut. He lifts Parker onto his shoulder, and slams him with a simple scoop slam. Steel stomps down on Parker's stomach, then moves to the corner. He climbs to the top rope, looking down at Parker. He points to the sky, and leaps off, backflipping before landing across Parker's abdomen. Matt - HUGE moonsault from the top rope, right to the IWF Champion!
Rick - High risk, high reward!Neither men moves in the ring. The referee begins to count. "1" "2" "3"Parker rolls onto his stomach, getting to his feet. "4" "5" "6"Steel gets to one knee. Parker pushes himself off the mat. "7" "8"The two men stand. Both charge at each other, looking for clotheslines. They hit each other at the same time, taking each other to the mat once more. Rick - It's like a car wreck in there!
Matt - Except without the scrap metal!Parker slowly crawls towards Steel and throws his arm across Steel's chest. -1-
-2-Steel forces a shoulder up. He gets to his feet. Parker stands, and is immediately greeted with a boot to the face. He stumbles back into the ropes. Steel leaps into the air, connecting a dropkick straight to Parker's chest. Parker falls back, tumbling through the ropes to the floor. Steel slides out of the ring after him. "1" "2" "3"Steel lifts Parker to his feet. He throws Parker to the steel steps, sending the world champion crashing into them. Steel follows after him, dragging Parker to the guard rail. He smashes Parker's face into the railing. "4" "5" "6"Steel lifts Parker to his shoulder again. He runs to the corner post, driving Parker face-first into it. Parker falls to the floor. Steel lifts him, rolling him into the ring. He slides in after him. Parker slowly tries to stand, but Steel kicks him to the face, sending him back to the mat. Steel slowly pulls Wayde to a standing position. Angel lifts Parker, preparing him for a Divine Cutter. Parker squirms and kicks his way out. He falls from Steel's grasp, grabbing Steel by the head on the way down. Steel's face is planted into the mat, and Parker acts quickly, twisting Steel's arms and neck and locking in the JTO. Steel immediately jerks to life, struggling to espace the hold. Parker shouts at him to tap out, wrenching on Steel's arms. Steel finally motions the submission. [Ding! Ding! Ding!] Heather Thompson - Here is your winner...PARKER WAYDE!Rick - And THAT is why Parker Wayde is the IWF Champion!
Matt - Quick thinking, and the ability to take punishment as well as dish it out! That's what the IWF Title is all about!
Rick - And now, Parker will be.....wait...The crowd begins to roar as Griffin Hawkins walks out onto the stage. Matt - He's cashing in! Griffin is challenging Parker for the IWF Championship!Baron Thompson races down the ramp as Griffin heads for the ring, and drives an elbow to the back of Griffin's head. He lifts Griffin in a reverse DDT position, then lifts him up, driving his skull into the steel ramp with Blazing Perfection. Parker slides out of the ring, and the two begin stomping Griffin out. Rick - Griffin is getting brutalized out here!
Matt - Did you see his head bounce off the floor? That's unforgiving steel! There's no give to that!Alexander Remington races down the ramp, and shoves Baron away. The two begin trading blows as Parker lifts Griffin to his feet. Parker sets Griffin up for the Instant Impact. Steel slides out of the ring, pointing at Parker. Parker releases Griffin, retreating up the ramp. Remington lets Blaze run after him. The camera shows Remington, Steel, and Griffin, staring down Parker and Blaze as the show cuts to commercial.

| We come back to the main event match, Heather is seen with mic in hand. Heather Thompson The following match is scheduled for one fallen it is her main event of the evening. Introducing first: From Trenton New Jersey, weighing in at 256 pounds, representing The Empire: BARON “BLAZE” THOMPSON!The titantron glows a crimson red when America by Deuce plays on the loudspeakers while Baron "Blaze" Tomson emerges from the curtains wearing his black trench coat with red flames lining from the sides and the back is the word "Blaze" written in fiery letters. He stands in the center doing his pose which ignites red pyro from the sides. They wanna see blood. They wanna see hate. Like a needle in your veins, a sickness with no name. In a world that's insane, why's America to blame when you're praying for a change to a god with no face?
They wanna see blood. They wanna see hate. Like a fucking AK, it's going up in flames. In a world that's insane, why's America to blame when you're praying for a change to a god with no face?Baron "Blaze" Tomson starts walking down with an arrogant swagger while he constantly points at the audience from the sides and shouts insults at them… Until Stygian runs out of the entrance behind him and clotheslines him in the back, knocking him flat on his face. Matt–Stygian isn’t messing around; he’s come right out here and gone right after Baron Thompson.
Rick–Not even waiting for his own music. He’s going right after Blaze. Stygian grabs Blaze by the hair and pulls them up. He whips him around and sends in face first into the security barrier. Then he grabs them and does the same thing the security barrier on the other side of the aisle. Lilith and Lilah followed behind the carnage at a safe distance. By now the referee has gotten out of the ring and is trying to persuade Stygian to at least get Baron Thompson into the ring so this match can begin. Stygian brutalizes Baron Thompson until he staggers onto the ringside mats then he guerrilla presses him overhead and throws Blaze over the top rope and into the ring. The ref dives under the bottom rope; he rolls around, eventually coming to his feet and calls for the belt. Stygian steps from the floor up to the ring apron and then easily over the top rope as Lilith and Lilah take their places in his corner. Stygian [vs.] Baron Tompson[Ding, Ding, Ding] Stygian catches up to Blaze as he’s managed to get to his knees and drills him in the face with a vicious right hand. Stygian gives him one more as he helps Blaze to his feet and whips them off the ropes. He catches blaze coming back with a sidewalk slam, but does not cover. Stygian is to his feet quickly, he bounces off the ropes and drives an elbow right into Blaze’s throat. Matt–Pure brutality from Stygian directed towards the man who screwed him out of the IWF world heavyweight title.
Rick–I can’t say that I blame him, but this is unfair; he totally jumped Blaze when he wasn’t looking!
Matt-Yeah, he should’ve used the fire extinguisher!Stygian stands, bringing Blaze with him once more. Blaze suddenly shakes free of Stygian’s grasp gets in a quick knife edge chop to create just a little space, he follows up with a kick and then grabs Stygian’s back dropping down in a split-legged jaw breaker. Stygian staggers backwards holding his jaw, Blaze rushes to his feet and charges while Stygian is staggered. Stygian drops down and tries to take blaze over with a back body drop over the top rope, however Blaze lands on the ring apron. Stygian turns around, sees Blaze, and tries to clothesline him off…but Blaze manages to counter with a shoulder thrust to Stygian stomach, then he grabs Stygian’s head and jumps backwards off the apron snapping Stygian throat across the top rope. Matt–Quick thinking from Blaze.
Rick–Stygian isn't thinking clearly, his rage has blinded him. Baron Thompson can be a formidable competitor if he can focus.Baron rolls under the bottom rope springs to his feet and charges Stygian with a running heel kick. Stygian stumbles a few steps backward but does not fall. Blaze gets to his feet, he bounces up the ropes and comes back with an authoritative clothesline that would probably normally knock a man down. Stygian however, is not fazed. Baron comes off the ropes again leaves his feet for a diving clothesline but Stygian catches him. Stygian takes a few steps away from the ropes and throws him up and over his head. Matt–Picture-perfect execution of the fallaway slam.
Rick–Of course, Stygian always has brute strength to fall back on. Stygian sits up with a smirk rolls over to his hands and knees he crawls over to the fallen form of Blaze Thompson, kneels beside him and starts raining down heavy right hands on the defenseless face of Baron Thompson. The ref comes over trying to warn Stygian off for using a closed fist illegally, finally he resorts to counting. Stygian keeps pummeling Blaze’s face until the ref finally gets to “four”. Stygian gives a clean break and backs away from Baron Thompson for a split-second. The referee admonishes Stygian, who couldn’t give a fuck less. Stygian stands, bringing Baron up with them. Stygian tries to whip him into the corner, but Baron manages to spring off the second turnbuckle and take Stygian down with a flying corkscrew uppercut. Now Baron kneels beside Stygian and starts pummeling him with heavy right hands. The ref has to count for Baron as well and like Stygian, Baron only abandons his assault when the ref reaches the count of “four”. However his clean break consists of a split second’s respite followed by wrapping his hands firmly around the throat of Stygian and throttling him on the mat. Stygian reaches up clawing desperately at the face of Baron Thompson but to no avail. The holders only broken after the ref count reaches “four” once again. Blaze breaks the choke, glances to the ref and goes right back to choking the seven-footer. Matt– Blaze pushing the rules to their very limit here tonight.
Rick–That’s what he has to do to have a chance to leave here with a win tonight.
Matt–To leave here with his life! Stygian has come out here with every intention of killing Baron Thompson. He is severely pissed off at Baron Thompson. Baron Thompson clubbed in the head with the fire extinguisher. Baron Thompson cost him the IWF World Heavyweight Championship. Stygian probably cares more about extracting some form of retribution that he does about winning the match. At the moment it is Blaze who has the upper hand through underhanded tactics. The ref finally has to force him to break the hold once more and he spirits Blaze into his own corner to reprimand him for blatantly choking his opponent. Blaze and nods along like a bored teenager as the referee lectures him before shoving past him, running at Stygian and kicking him in the ribs as Stygian tries to get to his feet. Stygian rolls into the corner, but Baron follows closely behind bracing himself on the top rope and stomping on Stygian mercilessly forcing the ref to count once again. Once again the count is pushed to the limit of “four” and Baron breaks it but briefly before he uses the ropes to propel himself skyward and drop both knees Stygian’s stomach brutally. Baron grabs Stygian’s arms and tries to drag him away from the ropes, finally falling when he thinks he’s far enough away. -1- -2- Stygian’s 7 foot frame is longer than Blaze anticipated, Stygian snakes a foot onto the bottom rope. Matt–a lot closer than perhaps Stygian thought Blaze would ever get to winning this match.
Rick–I’m telling you Matt, Blaze Thompson is the real deal. I really think 2013’s gonna be his year. He can really close out 2012 if he could put away the former World Heavyweight Champion.Baron glares at Stygian’s foot on the rope and discussed before he drag Stygian up to his feet and whip them into a neutral corner. Blaze charges up to follow and runs right into Stygian’s size 15EE. Rick–Do you suppose that’s “sole food”.
Matt–Groans audibly. No Rick…just no…
Rick–Get it? Huh? “Sole food?” Because it’s the feet…and he ate it?
Matt–Yeah, I got it… Baron spins around from the impact of the kick and when he turns around Stygian charges out of the corner and levels him with a brutal clothesline. Stygian spins on his heel, measures…and drops a fist right between Blaze’s eyes. Stygian lingers over Blaze as though he might think about covering him but instead opts to grind his forearm into the bridge of Blaze’s nose. The referee comes over to count as Blaze tries to fight Stygian’s illegal move with about same amount of effectiveness Stygian had in fighting off Blaze’s chokehold. The ref counts to four and Stygian relents. He punches Blaze in the face a few times before helping them to his feet and whipping him into the corner. Blaze hits with such force that the ropes all shake. Stygian sprints in and compresses him against the steel turnbuckles with a hard-charging clothesline. Matt–All 315 pounds were behind that one!
Rick–I think I heard his ribs crack over the crowd noise!Stygian wastes no time in lining up Blaze for one of his patented elbows to the point of the jaw. He positions Baron again, and again lets him have it with the elbow. After third elbow to the head, Stygian steps back and Baron staggers out into his waiting grasp. Stygian scoops Blaze up, hefts him onto his shoulders and walks out to roughly the middle of the ring. Stygian points at the selfsame corner he just yet Blaze out of and the crowd roars! Matt–Stygian calling his shot here!
Rick–Snake Eyes could been Blaze’s near future.Stygian gets a running start… And Blaze slips off his back and shows him face first into the top turnbuckle. Rick–Nobody home.
Matt–You have to consider Stygian has been on The Empire’s radar ever since Parker Wade earned the heavyweight title shot. Corey Casey went through that Hellzone match with him, Jack Savage has been in the ring with him a couple times, up until Alex Remington turned in his notice he was there for the scouting process… The Empire has to have Stygian very well scouted. They would be fools not to and more often than not Corey Casey is not a fool.As Stygian stumbles back the impact Baron grabs him by the shirt collar and the seat of his pants, wheels him around and throws him shoulder first into the ring post. As Stygian howls in pain still wedged between the second third turnbuckles, Blaze gets a running start and plows into the back of both of Stygian’s knees with a chop block. Rick–You have to be impressed with what Baron Blaze is doing here tonight.
Matt–Hey, I noticed the guy didn’t have ability. Whether he has sanity or not I question. Why he’s a flunky for Corey Casey and his Empire, I question profoundly. But nobody is ever said Baron “Blaze” Thompson doesn’t have the tools to succeed. He just has a head full of bad wiring.Stygian flops gracelessly onto his back. Blaze springs from rope to rope to rope leaping off the top and hitting Stygian with a modified moonsault. Blaze finishes the move on his knees looking down at Stygian and he holds his hands up triumphantly. Rick–Say what you will Matt, but you have to admit Baron Thompson came here tonight ready to take on The Star Destroyer.
Matt–You have to consider Stygian probably is not 100% after a brutal last man standing match and of course being lit on fire and having his head crushed by a fire extinguisher… Twice!
Rick–Come on give Blaze some credit here.
Matt–I am happy to give him credit, but you have to consider all the extemporaneous factors.
Rick–That’s code for, “I don’t want to admit that The Empire is kicking the ‘golden boy’s’ ass for second week in a row!” Blaze drags Stygian out to mid-ring and grabs his injured arm. He twists it and stomps on the shoulder previously injured by the solid steel ring post. He wrenches the arm again and drops down into a cross arm breaker. Stygian balls up his free fist and pounded against the mat as he tries to fight to the pain. Rick–You ever notice the guys who have success against Stygian are the ones who get a little lucky, find a body part to work on and stick to it?
Matt–Except for James Shark, Parker Wayde and Corey Casey. The three of them managed to go toe to toe with him in an all-out brawl.
Rick–Well, we do kind of have to define “success against Stygian” in very broad terms.Stygian reaches out towards the ropes, first with his free hand and when he can’t seem to get anywhere with that he tries to swing his long legs around and either hook a rope or get his foot out of the ring. However Blaze seems to have positioned himself very well and Stygian cannot take the easy way out. Stygian then tries to roll to his side but Thompson pops his hips and slams him right back down on the mat, wrenching on his arm once more. Matt–Blaze holding on to that arm for all he’s worth!
Rick–Like this match depends upon it.
Matt–Like his life depends upon it.
Rick–It probably does.Stygian is in sad shape locked in that hold. He rolls over onto his shoulder again and tries to push himself up only to attain the same result as last time. The ref checks and asks if he wants to give up. Stygian yells “NO” loudly. Stygian relaxes for a moment and his shoulders at the mat. -1- -2- Stygian snaps his shoulder off the canvas, still cognizant enough of his surroundings that he wasn’t in any real danger of actually being pinned. Stygian grits his teeth and looks over at Baron. He twists his hips to get his knees closer to the mat then he presses up from his back and rolls around placing his hand on the mat just to the side of Baron Thompson. Baron tries to stop Stygian back down the mat, but Stygian puts his knee down and stops the momentum. Stygian gets his feet underneath him while Baron still holds on to the hold desperately. Matt–He should really give up that hold right about now.
Rick–Panic mode has set in for Baron Thompson. I don’t think he thinks any human being can do this.
Matt–He’s lifting him up…
Rick–I don’t believe it…
Matt–What power from the Star Destroyer!Stygian gets his feet underneath him and proceeds to heft Baron Thompson into the air on one arm. The crowds roar starts softly grows louder the higher Stygian lifts Thompson. Conversely, Baron Thompson’s eyes start narrow and grow wider the higher Stygian lifts him on one arm. Once Stygian’s arms straight in the air Baron tries to lock in reverse triangle choke working his leg over Stygian’s other shoulder and trying to trap his neck. Stygian seems to look up at Baron, shake his head and sent him crashing to the mat with electric chair drop. The impact seems to have knocked Baron for loop; whilst the effort seems to have exhausted Stygian. Both men lie on the mat as the ref administers a 10 count. -1- -2- -3- -4- -5- -6- -7- -8- It is Stygian who moves first, crawling on his knees over to Baron Thompson and draping an arm. -1- -2- Baron Thompson easily gets his shoulder up. Matt–If he could’ve hooked his leg, I believe he might have had him.
Rick–That was just pure instinct however. One of those things they teach you to do and wrestling school.
Matt–When the hell have you ever been to wrestling school?
Rick–Are you implying I’m some kind of a pussy?
Matt–YES!
Rick–Hey, while you guys like you were going to wrestling school I was going to college and getting my Masters in business administration.
Matt–Well, why don’t you take your precious little degree, go get the ring was Stygian and tell me how that goes?
Rick–I will have you know my business acumen has contributed to the success of this company. Maybe not as much as Chuck’s. And maybe not as much as the effort of guys in the ring like Corey Casey, Brandon MacDonald, SBK, or Stygian; but my business sense and education helped me get this job and is helped me make a mark in this company.
Matt–Gee, you're really sensitive about this aren’t you?
Rick–I’m sick of people like you thinking I don’t do a damn thing around here just because I’ve never been inside a ring.
Matt–I didn’t realize that hurt your feelings so much.
Rick–Well…it does.
Matt–Wow dude, I-I’m… I’m really sorry.
Rick–…you’re totally fucking with me right now aren’t you?
Matt–You bet your sweet ass I am! In the midst of what started as a bonding moment and quickly deteriorated into a troll; Stygian and Baron have crawled to neutral corners and pulled themselves up to their feet. Stygian charges of Baron with a clothesline, Baron ducks, Stygian spins around and catches Baron with a Spartan Kick just as the young man was preparing to retaliate on his own. Matt–He nearly took his head off there!
Rick–Silence.
Matt–You going to get in on some commentary here Rick? Maybe do your job? Your other job, that is.
Rick–After the shit you just pulled? I’ve have to mind to leave my headset here and walk out.
Matt–Hey! You finally found a way you could directly increase ratings! Stygian stalks Baron Thompson now, waiting for him to get to his feet. As Blaze regains vertical base Stygian nailed him with a knee to the stomach, traps him in a front face lock, and lifts him high in to suplex position and holds him. He holds him for a very long time. Matt–We’ve seen this at least 100 times! Aaaaaaaaaaaaand my broadcast partner has decided to become a mute. So… How are you IWF fans? The broadcast position is awkwardly silent, the crowd is roaring in their approval as Stygian stalls out the suplex for a seemingly impossible amount of time before finally dropping Baron down on his back, floating over and making the cover. -1- -2- Baron Thompson kicks out at about two-and-three-quarters. Matt–Not enough to put Baron Thompson away.
Rick–What-the-fuck-ever man.
Matt–Cancel the herbal tea for Rick Christian, it turns out he doesn’t have laryngitis after all.
Rick–Go fuck yourself, man.
Matt–All right…look man, I’m sorry. You and I do this back and forth thing; you make fun of me being a stoner, I make fun of you for being an Ivy League business type with no ring experience. And I took it too far, I’m sorry.
Rick–Are you serious?
Matt–Yeah I am. It would take me weeks, Hell, probably years to break in a new broadcast partner. So don’t go getting all pissy over joke that, I’ll admit, probably went too far. Let’s call the fucking match, pretty please?Stygian grabs Baron by the shirt and brings him up to his feet as he himself stands. He shoves Blaze into the corner violently and follows him in with a kick to the midsection. Stygian cranks on Baron’s arm pulling him out of the corner so that he can ascend to the top rope. Matt–I know where this is going…
Rick–Shades of young Crimson Skull…
Matt–I’d like to welcome my broadcast partner back to the match and again apologize for any harm I may have caused him… For now.Stygian walks the top rope like a tight rope with Baron trapped in his rudimentary wrist lock. About this time one would expect him to jump down and club Baron “Blaze” Thompson in the head, however out of desperation, Baron lurches into the top rope and Stygian lands straddling it. Matt–Question illegal tactics from Thompson, here.
Rick–I don’t think it was intentional.
Matt–You’re probably right, that was desperation. Not that I would put it past Baron Thompson to resort to underhanded tactics mind you; but in this case I think he was just looking for something to change momentum.
Rick–And Stygian’s singing voice! With Stygian perched delicately, Baron bounces off the opposite ropes and comes at him with a full head of steam. He rams into Stygian sending him flying into the security barrier which Stygian greets with his sternum. Matt–Oh damn, that could’ve broken several of his ribs, possibly even cracked his sternum.
Rick–Thompson really needs to follow up here quickly!Baron Thompson is posted at that rope like a sentry. When Stygian regains his faculties and turns to face the ring once more, Blaze slingshots himself over the top rope and lands on his feet after drilling Stygian with a suicide plancha. Blaze stands over the fallen Stygian holding his hands in the air triumphantly, causing the crowd to roundly boo him. Matt–Baron Thompson is very confident about his standing in this match right now.
Rick–He needs to get back on Stygian. This isn't the time to show off. How many guys have made just a little bit of progress against him, then they Showboat and next thing you know you got a size 15EE in-your-face?
Matt–Exactly! In spite of the warnings the broadcast team, Stygian offers Blaze no resistance when the pyromaniac grabs him by the hair and yanks him to his feet. Blaze makes Stygian little more compliant by kneeing him in the stomach a few times. Once he feels The Black Dragon is malleable, he puts Stygian in a modified hammerlock targeted to the arm which he had injured earlier in the match and runs him shoulder first into the steel ring post. Stygian bounces off and lands on his back cradling that arm to his body. Matt–Blaze in and out of the ring to break the referee’s count.
Rick–Stygian is in real trouble!
Matt–And true to your advice, Baron Thompson is going right back on the attack.Baron Thompson renews his attack on the former World Heavyweight Champion by stomping him in the ribs. Rick–There’s another injury Baron can shamelessly exploit.
Matt–Stygian rocketed off the ring and landed chest first on the security barrier, Baron obviously remembers that and wants to do something to exacerbate it here.Stygian offers nothing in the way of resistance after the second stomp, but Baron being the upstanding citizen that he is gives him four or five more just to be sure. Baron help Stygian to his feet and leads him over to the steel ring steps. There’s a loud crash as Stygian skull connects with the diamond-plate steel and Stygian slumps lifelessly against the steps. Baron traps Stygian’s arm in a tiny space between the ring steps and the ring post where they adjoin. Baron goes around the opposite side of the steps, gets a running start and careens into the ring steps with a dropkick. The impact shakes Stygian from where he is trapped and he lands on his back once again cradling his injured arm to his body. Matt–Lilith and Lilah can do nothing but look on helplessly as Blaze Thompson has dismantled their man here right before their very eyes.
Rick–And you can say all you want about that last man standing match Stygian went through, and it was brutal; but Blaze had a pretty brutal match himself.
Matt–Agreed, that Hawk’s Nest match was very demanding. Maybe not as demanding as what Stygian in Parker Wayde went through… But he didn’t have a walk in the park. Baron Thompson sights in on Stygian with obvious evil intent evident upon his twisted visage. He takes his sweet time gloating over the injured Superman since Stygian seems to be able to do little else than lie on the mat holding his arm. Baron bends down to grab Stygian for the purposes of raising them up and inflicting more pain, but suddenly Stygian grabs his shirt with his uninjured arm pulls Baron down low enough so the ref cannot see him and spews red mist into his face. Matt–BREATH WEAPON!!!
Rick–Well, you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
Matt–Blaze has been treading a very fine line at the periphery of the rulebook all evening and Stygian has evened the playing field in one Dragon’s Breath.Stygian surges to his feet still not sure of his arm. However it can block a wild haymaker from Blaze in his good arm is more than find to return fire. Blaze stumbles a couple of steps from the punch but regroups and tries again; again Stygian blocks and decks Thompson right in the face. Blaze staggers back a couple of steps plant his foot and tries for Superman punch; Stygian steps aside, catches Blaze and head and arm lock and takes him down with a Day of the Dragon backbreaker. Matt–And there’s that brutal power stemming Blaze’s momentum in one fell swoop.
Rick–The thing about a guy like Stygian is that he is so big and so powerful that you can be on him for a good 20 minutes and the next thing you know he turns the match back into his favor with one big power move.
Matt–And Blaze isn’t a small man. He’s what? 6’5”? 250-ish? That is not a little man. But next to a 7 foot 315-pound war machine, he looks like a child. Now it’s Stygian’s turn to pull Blaze to his feet with a handful of hair. Stygian whips Blaze along the mats sending him careening into the steel ring steps which Blaze slips over and lands on the other side holding his knees. Matt–Stygian is going to work on various extremities.
Rick–Incidental. Stygian is trying to inflict pain. He doesn’t care what part of the body it goes to in the long run.Stygian steps over the ring steps and follows a crawling, pain Blaze along the edge of the ring. Matt–Now it’s Stygian’s turn to be the predator.
Rick–But I think he’s making mistake here; he’s giving Baron the time to regroup. I don’t care about the psychological warfare crap. Stygian’s taken his foot off the gas and paid for it several times already here tonight.
Matt–He has to be thinking about prolonging Blaze’s suffering. Making him pay for Pick Your Poison and everything he did that night.
Rick–He should be worried about winning the damn match. Or if he just wants to hurt the man? Get in there and hurt him! So many guys waste too much time prolonging the agony when they should be finishing the God damn job. Baron crawls around one of the ring corners that doesn’t have steel steps leading up from it Stygian dives through the ring and comes through behind him while he’s crawling. Stygian grabs him by the nape of the neck helping them to his feet and being in savagely in the stomach. He points over to his corner where Lilith and Lilah stand, instructing them to move out of the way. As they step off the mats towards the announce area Stygian whips Blaze into the security barrier hard. Stygian smirks as Blaze leans heavily against the mat-covered steel, absorbing abuse from the fans in the front row. Stygian gets a running start and was perhaps thinking about another Spartan Kick, however blaze manages to grab Lilah and user is a human shield. The act of hitting the brakes and making sure his foot doesn’t connect with the beautiful, busty brunette causes Stygian to teeter awkwardly. Blaze uses Lilah as a human screen and dips down, striking Stygian in the groin. Though it was clearly visible to the announce position in the camera, as well as several members of the audience on that side of the ring. Lilah’s body prevented the referee from seeing the low blow. Even though it is painfully evident by Stygian’s posture (that of being on his knees doubled over and holding the family jewels) the ref is still prevented from actually disqualifying Blaze. Matt–A blatant disqualification if I ever saw one!
Rick– But he used Lilah to hide the shot. The ref can’t call with the ref can’t see.
Matt–A fact Stygian has used to win many matches of his own, I have to admit. Blaze shoves Lilah out of the way nearly causing her to trip and fall. He stands over the kneeling, ball-cradling Stygian, laughing. Suddenly without the benefit of a cover-up Stygian draws back his fist and tags Baron Thompson right in the groin as well. The referee has no choice but to immediately call for the bell. [Ding, Ding, Ding] Heather Thompson Ladies and gentleman here’s your winner, as a result of a disqualification: BARON “BLAZE” THOMPSON!“America” plays on the loudspeakers, but Blaze is in no position to have his hand raised at the moment. Rick–Losing this match probably isn't going to bother Stygian too terribly much. Once Blaze went south of the border I don’t think Stygian cared about winning the match anymore.
Matt–I can’t say I blame him. Blaze took a shortcut, Stygian returned fire and it cost him the match; but Stygian’s not done with Blaze Thompson.Stygian grabs Blaze by the throat and shoves him kidneys-first into the side of the ring. Once that seems to have slowed his roll Stygian presses him high overhead, in spite of the injured arm, and tosses him over the top rope and into the ring. The ref calls for the bell to ring and it does so like a fire engine; it's simply background music as Stygian shoves the timekeeper out of his chair folded up and takes it into the ring. Stygian waits on Baron to get up and the moment Baron finds his feet Stygian clobbers him back to the mat; swinging that chair like Albert Pujols. Stygian lays the folded chair flat on the mat and then turns and grabs Baron Blaze Thompson, lifts him up, presses him overhead and Baneblade's him squarely on the surface of the steel chair. Members of The Empire run out; pretty much everybody but Corey and Parker. Stygian yanks the chair from beneath Thompson and dares the Empire to come collect their fallen man. When the courage abandons them at the foot of the entrance ramp Stygian opts to drag Baron lifelessly to his feet and instead throws him over the top rope to land at the feet of his brethren. Stygian stands tall in the ring brandishing the steel chair as Baron “Blaze” Thompson stumbles up the ramp with his fellow Empire members. Stygian's Dragonforce song, "Cry Thunder" plays while he, Lilith and Lilah stand in the ring celebrating. Matt– A small measure of revenge gained by Stygian here tonight!
Rick– Baron Thompson wins the battle, Stygian wins the war; he got even for what Baron did to him at Pick Your Poison with that fire extinguisher.Stygian finally tosses the chair haphazardly out of the ring as “Cry Thunder” suddenly cuts out. A split-second later the lights cut out. Matt–What the hell is going on here?
Rick–did we forget to pay the electric bill?A deep, gravelly, haunting voice resounds throughout the arena over the loudspeaker system… Death Angel Dragon hunting season has officially begun! The lights come back on and there is Death Angel standing behind Stygian. Lilith and Lilah barely have enough time to dodge as the massive human being steamrolls the former world heavyweight champion into the mat. Matt–Death Angel from out of nowhere!
Rick–He just laid Stygian out! Stygian weakly manages to get to his hands and knees before Death Angel drags him up by his hair, picks him up by his throat and throws him back-first into the corner with such force that one might be inclined to think the ring itself had moved. The 800-pound man immediately follows up with a charging splash. Matt–Jesus, you could hear the air go out of Stygian!
Rick–I’ve never seen anyone manhandle the seven-foot 300-pound former world champion this way.
Matt–Stygian looks like a small child in there!Death Angel wastes no time, he begins unloading on Stygian with a vicious assault of heavy right and left hands until Stygian slides down the turnbuckles and lands flat on the mat. Death Angel rolls out of the ring and procures the timekeepers chair with little argument from the timekeeper. Matt–I don’t think I like what Death Angel has in mind here.
Rick–I think we need some help out here right now for Stygian. Death Angel has launched a vicious assault from out of nowhere and decided to target The Black Dragon.
Matt—For reasons known only to him.
Rick–Well I sure as hell am not going to ask him!
Matt–Me either! Then can we get some security or somebody out here to help?Death Angel rolls back into the ring with a steel chair in tow. He blasts Stygian the face with it for good measure then sets it aside. From somewhere on his person he produces two sets of handcuffs and proceeds to drag Stygian back into the corner and cuff his wrists to adjacent sections of the top rope found there. He then takes the steel chair once more and wedges it in between the top and bottom rope behind Stygian’s head. As the fans boo, Death Angel takes a few steps back from the groggy Stygian and holds his fist high in the air. Matt–Kablooski coming up!Death Angel turns his focus once again to Stygian winding up his bowling-ball-sized fist. Before he can carry through, Lilith and Lilah both slide into the ring behind him carrying steel chairs. Rick–This is not a good idea…Lilith and Lilah both smack the gigantic human being square across his broad back to ZERO effect. Matt-I think they just pissed them off.
Rick-I don’t even think they did that! Look it Death Angel turnaround and smile at them.
Matt–Leave them alone Death Angel!
Rick–Hey, they got in the ring of their own free will; like it or not they’re fair game.Death Angel slowly turns and looks at the girls and just shakes his head pointing out of the ring. Rick–See, he’s perfectly willing to let them go.
Matt–But I don’t think Lilith or Lilah is willing to let Death Angel Kablooski Stygian’s head into a steel chair.Lilith and Lilah circle around Death Angel, blocking his path to Stygian with those chairs at the ready for all the good it won’t do. Death Angel finally seems to have enough; he slaps the chairs out of the girls hands reaches out and grasps each one by the neck lifting them up and dropping them down with a violent choke slam. Death Angel rolls out of the ring and begins digging under it. Matt–That was unconscionable!
Rick–They had no business being in the ring! Death Angel even gave them the chance to leave! This is their fault!
Matt–they were just trying to protect their… Well, what-the-Hell-ever Stygian is to them.Death Angel drags a table out from under the ring and leans it up against the top rope. He climbs up onto the ring apron, then grabs the table and muscles it over the top rope and into the ring where Lilith and Lilah both still lie lifelessly. Death Angel sets the table up in the corner directly across from where Stygian is handcuffed. He lifts Lilith and lays her out across the table; and then he lifts Lilah and stacks her on top of Lilith. Death Angel then casually strolls across the ring to the handcuffed Stygian and slaps him in the face a few times until The Black Dragon comes to and realizes his predicament. Shortly thereafter, he realizes the predicament of the two women in his life and struggles to break free of his bondage. Death Angel grins evilly and crosses the ring; circling behind the table and climbing up to the second turnbuckle looming over Lilith and Lilah ominously. Matt–NO, NO, NO!
Rick–Okay… This might be going a little too far…Stygian pulls futilely against the solid steel handcuffs and yells across the ring. At first he begs, then he pleads; when he realizes it is to no avail he begins shouting profanities. Death Angel just smiles and leaps off, crushing Lilith and Lilah through the table under his massive 800 pound frame! The crowd it goes deathly silent as the two women lie in the midst of the wreckage. Death Angel slowly stands and crosses the ring. Stygian tries to get to his feet and kick Death Angel in the groin; the only reasonable expectation of defending himself he has. Death Angel blocks the kick and forces Stygian back down to the mat with a huge right hand right into the solar plexus. Stygian sits breathlessly, handcuffed to the top rope with his head resting against that steel chair once more. Death Angel lines up, laughs evilly, and connects with the Kablooski smashing the defenseless Stygian’s head into the steel chair. Suddenly the quiet crowd begins cheering. Matt–Remington and Hawkins!Of all the unlikely sites; Alexander Remington and Griffin Hawkins brandishing steel chairs and coming to Stygian’s aide has to be near the top of the list. As they get to the ringside area, the lights die out once more. When the lights come back on Death Angel is gone leaving Stygian out cold and cuffed into the corner and Lilith and Lilah in the middle of a pile of wreckage in the opposite corner. Remington and Hawkins slide into the ring. Remington pulls Lilah off of Lilith carefully and checks both of them for a pulse. He looks up at Griffin and nods. Griffin Hawkins, for his part, waves to the back signaling a massive entourage of IWF security and medical teams to storm down the ramp. They pile into the ring forcing Remington and Hawkins into a neutral corner. One of the security guards happens to have handcuff keys and he gets Stygian free. However, Stygian isn’t moving anymore than Lilith or Lilah are. The show goes off the air as the EMTs begin the arduous process of strapping Lilith and Lilah to backboards. |
