| Prologue: An Uprising Challenge
Eric was looking to get things going in his career last week. He was halted by the world champion, Alexander Remington unfortunately. Things were still looking up for Eric Steel, in the IWF rookie’s eyes of course. Last week he also attacked Ashe Corvin, proving to be a sore loser for losing last week. This possibly could continue their rivalry of course. Now it was known that Eric Steel now was going to go up against the Uprising champion, Sean Libby. This would be the first time the two faced each other. Eric was prepared for anything, or so he thought. It would simply be a great match between the two men. Eric Steel could potentially be in contendership in the future against the champion if he would be victorious. Eric Steel obviously want to redeem himself from losing two matches straight and he was obviously looking to do that. Who would be victorious between Sean and Eric? Who would want it more? Will the champ prove to have momentum? Or will the hot shot, Eric Steel make the upset by defeating a champion for the first time in his entire career? Tune in to Battlegrounds 63 to find out exactly what will happen.
Scene 001: Statement Made
The scene opened up to Eric Steel’s home in Toronto. He was setting up equipment for a specific reason. Cameras were all around the place as he began to grab a stool for him to sit in the middle of the floor. He adjusted the main camera accordingly as he smirked carefully. He took a seat on the stool in order to see how it would look. He then turned the camera on, taking yet another seat. Eric Steel took a deep breath as he looked into the camera while it’s rolling. He took a deep sigh as he prepared to speak amongst the people of IWF through video blogging. He opened his mouth as he prepared to speak.
’The Golden Prophecy’ Eric Steel “Last week, I got robbed… And the aftermath was about to be so sweet, but then Griffin Hawkins got involved. It’s a shame really… On the other hand, Alexander Remington’s championship reign is going to end at the pay per view when Axel Vengeance gives him the beating of a life time. Last week, Alexander got lucky… On any given night I could beat him, and I know I can. You see it’s people like him that makes me sick. And then you people, you people give him the courage and the will for victory. Hell, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you think he’s your hero. Are you kidding me? He’s your fucking hero? Your hero won’t be champion long, so you morons better enjoy his reign while you can. The Empire will have the world title back home where it belongs at the end of the day. Remington can get so lucky so quick, and then his fucking time is up before he knows it. He makes fun of Empire head Corey Casey, not to mention that the ironic part is…. CASEY IS THE ONE THAT SIGNS HIS FUCKING PAYCHECK! But the truth of the matter is, Remington will sink, and sail. What that means is, Axke Vengeance is going to make this real easy for The Empire to get that title back to us. The only reason why Remington won last week was because I had something in my eye, point blank period. There’s no discussion about it to tell you the truth. Tomorrow night, Remington is facing Empire’s own Jack Savage…. Savage will do the deed that I couldn’t. Savage will make absolute sure that Remington won’t be walking. All Savage has to do is weaken him to the point where he won’t be able to defend that title he has.”
Eric Steel looked pretty intense, breathing rather hard. He looked into the camera with a smirk on his face as he crossed his arms momentarily. He took a deep breath, sighing as he continued on.
’The Golden Prophecy’ Eric Steel “I had reasons why I attacked Ashe Corvin last week… You see, he thinks he’s better than me so I asserted my dominance. I know that on my best day he couldn’t beat me. He couldn’t even beat a fucking sneeze. Ashe is a joke, and he’s an old fossil. The man is so old, he’ll try to bend over and his back would go out on him. That’s how fucking old he is. It’s fucking ridiculous to be honest with you. Ashe is never going to get over the fact that I’m simply better than he is. I mean let’s face it… there’s no disputing it. I’ve shown that to him when I beat him two times in a row. He got lucky ONE time and that was in the pay per view. So I slipped up once, but I can pretty much guarantee that will not happen again, trust me on that. Ashe deserved to be attacked. He’s just someone whose ass you want to kick over and over again. I’m glad Steel Angel kicked his ass and then I added insult to injury. Let’s face it…. Ashe Corvin deserved every fucking minute of what happened last week. Would I change what happened? Fuck, no. He stole my opportunity and if I want to get it back… I’ll fucking beat his skull in repeatedly. Ashe is a pathetic human being who doesn’t know when to retire. Guess what though, I guarantee you that if he and I ever meet in the ring again I assure you one way or another I will retire him by crippling him. That’s not a threat, it’s more of a promise… You see, my job is very simple now… My job is to make sure that he doesn’t make it as Uprising champion. And if I happen to fail, which I doubt I will, I have another plan in mind. You see, I’m smart unlike you Americans whose just about as intelligent as a mutt.”
Eric smirked confidently, obviously not caring or not worrying about much of anything. He looked at the camera as he took his time. He parted his lips, licking them perhaps. He proceeded to begin to speak from that moment forward.
’The Golden Prophecy’ Eric Steel “Corey Casey is very smart and very wise. You see, he knew that by adding me to his faction, that his faction now means more than it did before I was even considered. You people need to embrace The Empire. We’re simply better than anyone in the entire roster. All of you practically pale in comparison to the most powerful stable in the IWF. But you see, the thing is through every trial there’s a tribulation. We know that there’s someone who simply can’t stand us. But here’s the thing, it doesn’t matter. We don’t give a damn who can’t stand us or not. The fsct is, you people sit on your fat asses and guess what? You pay to see us, oh you don’t have to admit it but it’s the truth. The thing is, you can’t identify talent because you don’t know greatness when you see it. Each and every member of the Empire has more talent than Alexander Remington, and we damn sure have more talent than Gordon Fury. But you see, you see what you want to see but you don’t’ see what’s so obvious. I mean come on, The Empire is a collection of great wrestlers who has dominated and will continue to dominate for a long time. And here’s the thing, you seem to hink that it’ll matter if your heros will get rid of us… But that’s where the problem lies…. You can’t get rid of us because we’re like insects…. We keep growing and we keep on coming back. You can’t kill the most dangerous faction in the world. Corey Casey is a smart business man, and he’s a excellent boss. I’m not just saying this because of how well I just so happen to get paid. The truth is, this group can easily span out to the entire world. You see, tomorrow night we will show exactly how dominating we truly are.”
Eric Steel placed his arms to his side as he felt the confidence just brewing around the place at the time. Steel just took a deep breath, taking some time to think. He parted his lips as he continued on with a smirk on his face.
’The Golden Prophecy’ Eric Steel “Tomorrow night I am going to be in the ring, going one on one with the Uprising champion, Sean Libby. Ya know, it’s too bad it isn’t for the title. This match would’ve been more meaningful. But I get to do something that Ashe simply won’t be able to do. I get to beat Sean Libby, and the thing is I show no remorse. I’m the most dangerous person Sean Libby has ever faced, but I guess he’ll come to realize that sooner rather than later perhaps. Sean Libby beat Philip, but he won’t beat me. I won’t let it happen. I simply refuse because how can I lose to someone that’s beneath me. I am going to beat the living hell out of him to the point that he won’t even get a chance or an opportunity to defend that title. You see, I know that I’m better than him and I know what I’m capable of. I’m capable of dishing out more pain than anyone could ever imagine. Tomorrow night will be no different. Sean Libby may be crazy, but he hasn’t seen the true definition of crazy yet. You people seem to think that your hero will beat me. I’m sorry but when I beat him, I may gain the opportunity to beat him again, but for the uprising championship. You see, Philip let him win but that’s not what I’m about. I’ll beat him with my bare hands. Not only that, but I will defeat him as if I’m facing him for his championship. Sean Libby is not in my league. He’s like a cockroach that’s on my shoe. That’s how beneath me he is, trust me. When it’s all said and done, truth be told… Only one of us will come out the winner, Libby. Unfortunately, it won’t be you.”
Eric Steel smirked cockily as he knew what was comig. The confidence level was on a new high for Steel. He took his time to gather his thoughts so that he could speak.
’The Golden Prophecy’ Eric Steel “Tomorrow Night Libby, you will witness a talent that you’ve never imagined before. You see, people like you don’t deserve to be champion. It’s disgusting to see. And when I beat you, I’m going to make sure you don’t make it to Rising Monarchy. I deserve to be champion, but you best keep that title safe for now. Sooner or later we will meet again under different circumstances. And to be quite honest, when that time comes, it will be for the Uprising championship. But on the other hand, let’s focus on tomorrow night. You and I are going to face each other for the first time. I don’t care about anything you’ve done in the past or what you plan to do in the future. All I know is that asses is going to be handed on a silver platter. Sean Libby, prepare to meet your maker. Unlike you, I’m a natural born champion. In fact, all of The Empire are natural born champions. Tomorrow night, you will find out that I’m not just talented but I’m also dangerous. You’re going to see how dangerous I am. I don’t give a fuck about you being crazy or any type of shit like that. All I care about is that tomorrow night…. I will make you my personal bitch. Oh wait, too late…. I’ll see you on the other side, and by that I mean with your eyes rolling to the back of your head when I hit the Steel Cutter.”

| Sean Libby's apartment
-The scene opens with sound humming and shows Sean Libby moving his hair and putting a X bandage on his head-
-Sean rubs his checks his ripped jacket and adjusts himself-
Sean Libby: Ah... A bit banged up, but still rocking like a rock star.
-Sean smiles and as he does his right side lens of his glasses snap off-
-Sean stands in shock-
Sean Libby:....FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
-A "We'll be right back!" sign appears cutting Sean's screaming off-
-Scene then reopens with a new pair of glasses-
Sean Libby: Assholes... Who they think they are? They are annoying little douche bags who want fun for themselves and people like me get none.
-Sean looks around and notices bobble heads of Jack Savage and Philip Joseph-
Sean Libby: Hmm...
-Sean flicks them and they fall into his toilet-
Sean Libby: Piss off douche nozzles. Empire numb balls. They'll never learn.
-Sean walks out of the bathroom not before flushing the toilet with the dolls of Jack and Phil-
-Sean walks into his living room and notices his friend Matt Bell reading a Game Indies magazine-
-Matt whistles and Sean notices then Matt throws a letter to Sean-
Sean Libby: Thanks Matty.
-Sean rips open the letter that has no address but signed by Rick Christian-
Sean Libby: Ah, Rick Christian my old friend. He always sends me these cards, to let me know what I'm up against this week.
-Sean reads down the card and see's his name next to Eric Steel-
-Sean scoffs and rubs his head-
Sean Libby: Wouldn't you know it?
Matt Bell: What?
Sean Libby: My match I mean it just doesn't seem...Right. Feels like a bit of abuse of power.
-Matt's face is clueless to what Sean is saying-
Sean Libby: Okay Matt look at this. This guy, I'm facing right? This guy could've been the number one contender for that guy *points at Uprising title* I mean thing. Right, then just on that night he goes under a Red banner and all of a sudden I'm facing him. Does- Doesn't it feel like he is facing me because...He is Empire or...
Matt Bell: Creative Control?
Sean Libby: Yes! Thats what it is, but my point is... He shouldn't be facing me, and I shouldn't be facing him. I fear that, the guy who beat him will lose his supposed to be number one contendership to this kid, just because he is under a Red banner.
Matt Bell: Or maybe your going over your own head Sean, and he just wants a match with you. Lots of people do. Well, I mean not with you, because why you, but they want to wrestle you because your a champion.
Sean Libby: And a DAMN fine one too. I am a awesome champion! I don't care if those punks beat us I am a champion and I am great!
"Lies, Lies, Lies..."
-Sean points to the Uprising title-
Sean Libby: Shut Up!
Matt Bell: But I didn't say anything...
-Sean raises his eye brow-
Sean Libby: Uh... I gotta hit the road Matty.
-Sean rips the Uprising title off the wall-
"OW!"
Matt Bell: Catchya later.
-Sean raps the Uprising title around him and nods to Matt closing the door behind him-
Walking down the streets of Pittsburgh
-Sean walks down the street headbanging to the music in his iPod-
Sean Libby: Whoop, whoop, whoop whoop, whoopa Shoop da Whoop.
-Sean notices a ally and looks around-
-Sean smiles and puts on his glasses and walks down the ally-
Sean Libby: Is anybody around...? No? Then I will have this time to talk with myself!
-Sean throws off his Uprising title into a wall-
"HEY!"
-Sean puts on his glasses and spins around-
Sean Libby: Hey yourself my golden title! Hey you know what your nightmare did to tha awesome Libbeh last week huh? Huh? HUH?! You made tha Libbeh be off his guard and thats why Trollsteen lost!
"Uhh...What?
Sean Libby: Don't you be playing dumb with Libbeh! I know these curses and they are balls! I am not one to be played with! You will not put a end to me! I am higher than I ever have been in this company before!
"You really are on crack.
Sean Libby: No!... Not really... Thats not the point! The point is! You will behave! I am taking you to work tonight, and you will be champion advantage! This dude! Eric Steel? Hes- Wait... Is he trying to steal my buddy's name?
-Sean stares confused at his title with people watching him but does not notice them-
Sean Libby: Eh, it don't matter. Point is! You are my title! I clawed my way to get you and I deserve you! These Empire punks, excluding Corey, are all assholes! I will not allow my title, the one that I bled, I cried, and almost died, for!
"Wow...Uh...Okay?"
Sean Libby: I will do whatever it takes because I can! And I will, and if it so happens to come to me fighting these Empire thugs till they die? Then so be it! I will take on all comers! Do you understand me?!
"Yeah! Yeah I understand!
Sean Libby: Good! Now!
-Sean takes his title off the wall and straps it back on him-
-Sean looks at the crowd that is watching him and smiles-
Sean Libby: Look out world! Crazy Libby's got a sweet date tonight!
-Sean hops and runs past the crowd running towards the IWF arena-
-The scene shows the arena with it slowly fading out-
