just like Battle Grounds. instead of a best 2 rule, a best 1 rule.

I honestly could go either way on this. I'm not attached to one way or the other.

I think it would be beneficial to those who don't have enough time during the week to write 2 quality rps. It's tough for some people to handle a job, rp writing, real life and, for some, school.

I really like how things are done right now. The 1-rp for BG 2-rp for PPVs really separates the two in my mind. PPVs are supposed to be the biggest and best matches each month, and the best 2 RPs scored is a good way to live up to that. I agree that its tough to write 2 RPs in a week, but I dont agree with shortening it to best one RP. A better solution, in my opinion, would be to start getting the PPV cards and threads up earlier. For example
Wrestler A loses title to Wrestler B on PPV1
First Battle Grounds after PPV1, Wrestler A gets rematch against Wrestler B at PPV2
PPV2 card is immediately updated and thread is made, giving Wrestler A and Wrestler B almost a month to RP
I know we sort of did this for a bit a while ago, and I'm not sure why we stopped. It's something that definitely needs to be done. This way, even if the show before the PPV isn't posted until late, people are still able to RP. I know it's hard to RP sometimes if you don't know what happened on the show, but I think this is better than nothing.
Anyways, I think we definitely need to start posting PPV cards well in advance, but I think we should keep the 2 RPs scored rule for PPVs

1 RP for PPV's ya sure why not, I mean it's all about winning and losing right? Fuck no. To me half of the fun is going back and forth with an opponent to make things fun and interesting. The exchange between opponents is half the fun. I think people get too caught up with winning and losing that they lose sight of the fun that is supposed to be e-fedding. Where's the back and forth exchanging of words cutting someone down only to have them fire back and get you pumped up to bang out quality in response. For as many years as I've been doing this, what keeps me going is the storylines. Granted winning titles etc is always a plus but my primary objective has always been running amazing stories and working with different people. Guess different strokes for different folks. I'm totally against it personally.

Parker would come back.
Parker is all for doing two RPs for the PPV, but then that turned into not being allowed to do those two RPs on the same day, which makes it hard on people that only write on the weekends, and mainly on Sunday.
Eliminating the second RP for PPVs would eliminate the whole posting on the same day issue.

I concur with Remi
PPV's are supposed to be the cream of the crop...the best of the best. To have one RP postings for a PPV and have that be the exact same as an episode of Battle Grounds is blasphemy

I think a better solution would be to have a 2 week RPing cycle for PPVs so people have time to get up 2, quality RPs rather than, in this case, having about 4 days to accomplish the same goal.

I'm not a fan at all of the two week cycle
If we add an extra week on every month before a PPV, then we'll lose 3 PPV's in a year, and only have 9.
No thanks
Literally the only problem here is that the shows get posted late. Like I said before, if the PPV card goes up early, as in "as the matches are made" then it becomes easier to RP as you go, because you already know who you're facing. Then after the show goes up, you can add in anything significant that happened, but at least now you aren't starting from scratch
Also this is still on the show-writers to get all their shit done on time. It will happen
But yeah, no to the two weeks for a PPV

Can someone explain to me why it is sooooooo important to know what happened on the show to start RPing?

What happened to the days where you could just write amazing stories that didn't depend on the show? (Also known as Jason Hawk RPs )
