Drowning my Sorrows

John Tolly walks into a bar in Huston just after the ppv. He was still feeling the effect of the brutal ladder math. but right now the emotional scars were deeper than the physical ones. He had lost again, true people would tell him that he had not technically lost the match, but he hadn't one and worse Jack Savage had.


John:Scotch and water, heavy on the scotch


The bartender nodded and turned to get Tolly his drink,John could see some one out of the corner of his eyes walking up to him


John:I'm not really in the mood for conversation

Storming Raven walks up to the bar and hears John say he's not in the mood for conversation. Well then. He orders his usual bottle of Jameson, and takes a long swig while sitting on the bar.

"A bar isn't really a place for one to go, if they don't want conversation....Just an observation."

He takes another swig from the bottle finishing half of it.

John looks over and notices Storming Raven.

John:Maybe your right, maybe i just needed a place to vent my frustrations and drown my sorrows.

*John shrugs*

John:Its that damn match!..ya know I'm not upset that I didn't win a briefcase, its the fact that Jack Savage did!...Jack fucking savage!!!

Storming Raven nods, in an understanding manner.

"Neither did I. My father told me something long ago. If you fall off a horse, you just gotta pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back on. I think it applies. It's why I haven't quit yet. Even if those HFF fuckheads want to mess with me for no reason."

He takes another drink from the bottle. The bottle now being about three fourths full. Stormy the optimist.

"I won't back down."

John Chuckles at the mention of the HFF

John: trust me your getting in a fight you can't win. There just trying to ruffle your feathers so to speak. Your best bet is to just ignore them
