Okay so this is my first ever rant. Ahem:
So most of you know, I'm a big horror/music/comic book fan. There is a convention coming up in July in Louisville the Fright night film fest/fandom fest. Among some of the guests appearing are Jason David Frank, Gillian Anderson, Stan Lee, William Shatner, Norman Reedus, and Gene Simmons.
Now to start, I want to say I have no problem paying for autographs, because let's face it, these people are taking time out of their busy schedules to meet fans and their managers set the prices and all. BUT I DO have a problem with some of the prices. I don't mind paying 20-25 dollars for an autograph, but I just read Gene Simmons will be charging 100 bucks for an autograph(just for standard wait in line autograph that's not even the VIP price), and Norman Reedus is charging 45 dollars!
HOW is a common every day person supposed to afford this price?! I for one think it's totally unfair to charge more than 20-25 dollars just to talk to someone for a few minutes, have them sign something and move on. These people already have way more money than most will ever see in their lives! Why bleed the fans dry?!
