I THINK IM TURNING JAPANESE

Blyss finally finds her way to the Tokyo Dance club. She doesn't go to places like this often but because she's been having a bad morning earlier, she thinks, "Oh why the hell not?" Jaci came to her rescue just now and she feels so much better. But then Jaci has to go for a bit. In the mean time, it's time to meet the HFF boys and "party it up" as much as someone who wants to stay sober can.

She walks into the club and spots Ace first. She wasn't too sure if she wanted to come initially but they seem genuine enough on twitter to invite her to hang out with them. She approaches them with a cautious smile.

"Hey guys. I don't know if Jaci's coming later but she knows where we are. So... uh how's it going?"

Gordon I have a question?

What?

Why the fuck are we here?

Because while I'm in Japan I may as well get out and engage in the nightlife.

You mean get a hooker?

Not the kind of engaging I meant. Anyway I walk into the club and spot Blyss. Who would of thought that I would run into her here? I go to walk over to her then notice she is stand with a couple of people: Axle Vengeance and Ace Static.

Did you wanna bail?

I consider it, but think "fuck it". Axle may hate my guts, but everyone is here to have a good time, and those boys do seem to know how to have a good time. I walk over to them and they notice my arrival.

Gordon Fury: Hey Blyss, long time no see. Nice to see you again Axle, and you must be Ace Static right? I'm Gordon Fury, I'm sure Axle has told you such wonderful things aoubt me.

Obvious sarcasm is obvious.

Blyss bursts out laughing at the sight of Ace putting the table cloth over Gordon. She pulls it away and tosses it aside.

"Yeah Gordon, long time no see!"

Giggling, she turns to Ace and shakes his hand. She takes her seat.

"Well, I do like walks on the beach too. (winks) But when I'm at home, I like to bake. Cookies usually and sometimes cupcakes. By the way, this music sucks!"

She grins and looks at the three men.

"So who's buying me a drink? Nothing alcoholic though. Yeah I know, it's a bar, blah blah..."

She laughs.

She laughs, seeing the way Ace tries to make the drink order.

"I'm not gonna lie. I've worked here before for like a year and I still don't know much Japanese. I mean I picked up some phrases. Hmm... Like 'Ohayou gozaimasu!' Which means, 'Good morning!'. 'Ogenki desuka?' meaning 'How are you?' But yeah you know as much as I think I know, once they start talking back to me, I'm just like 'What did he say?!'"

The bartender serves the Shirley Temple.

"So is this your first time in Tokyo, Ace?"

Smiling, she takes the drink from Ace. She's not entirely sure how to answer this question so she takes a sip from her drink, stalling for a little time.

"Well... I used to pass by this place a lot when I was in high school and I'd heard about a wrestling academy there. And... heh... I was supposed to go somewhere else but I stopped by and watched a class. Thought it was cool and I joined. Fell in love with it and I guess, here I am..."

She looks back up at him and shrugs. There's a longer version to it but she'd rather not talk about it. At least not now, especially here.

"So what about you? How did you get started?"

Wrinkling her nose slightly, she looks at the glass and back at Axle. She exhales and takes it from him.

"Hold on..."

She catches up with the girl who brought in the tray to ask if the champagne is vegan, just to make sure. She returns to the bar, smiling shyly.

"It must either be being in a foreign country or that I'm..."

She bites her lower lip and then smiles. She hasn't been feeling great lately because of her recent relationship breakup. Maybe what she really needs now is to loosen up a little. She raises her glass.

"But only for you guys and tonight only. (winks) To new friendships!"

Here goes nothing... She downs the glass quickly.
