| This is interesting. First time I ever got put in jail in another country. The law man throws me in the cell after my altercation with Flex. I look around at the other guys in the cell. They're obviously fans. Not one to waste a perfect opportunity to entertain, I begin dancing and singing an old Elvis song.
"The warden threw a party in the county jail. The prison band was there and they began to wail. The band was jumpin and the joint began to swing. You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.
Spider Murphy played the tenor saxophone, Little Joe was blowin on the slide trombone. The drummer boy from Illinois went crash, boom, bang, The whole rhythm section was the purple gang. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.
Number forty-seven said to number three: You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see. I sure would be delighted with your company, Come on and do the jailhouse rock with me. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.
The sad sack was a sittin on a block of stone Way over in the corner weepin all alone. The warden said, hey, buddy, don't you be no square. If you can't find a partner use a wooden chair. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.
Shifty Henry said to bugs, for heavens sake, No ones lookin, now's our chance to make a break. Bugsy turned to shifty and he said, nix nix, I wanna stick around a while and get my kicks. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock."
The cell mates cheer wildly as I take a bow then a copper yells.
"Shut up in there, it's jail not a party"
I look at the cell mates with a grin, and we all shout back:
"FECK OFF,PIGS!" | |

| I swear this man is going to be the death of me one of these days. He infuriates me 90% of the time with his antics. Yet the fact remains that I love him unconditionally, unlike any other. After conversing with a few locals getting directions, I have arrived at the jail. The guard directs me to the cell.
Raven, what the hell were you thinking? I don't understand what would make you do something so reckless? This could ruin you...are you trying to destroy what you worked so hard for? |

| I look up at Lani with that famous grin, knowing she can't resist it.
"No darlin. Quite the contrary. I was trying to make people take notice of me. Now let's get the fuck out of here and back to the bar. Got another gig."
I stand up and stretch, and sign a few of the cell mates' shirts with a sharpie I had in my pocket. I stand at the bars and wait for the pig to open the cell.

| Damn him and that smile. He knows I am powerless against it. Unfortunately for me, he knows exactly when to use it. I can never stay mad at him too long any way.
Come on. Let's get you back to the bar so you finish up. Next time wait until AFTER the full set is done before raising pure hell, ok?
I follow him out, glad they were outside again. |

| I flash that grin again as I sit in her car.
"That was fun. Feel like I'm seventeen again."
I light a cigarette and study her face. I take a long drawl from the cigarette and exhale through my nose as I speak.
"What's on your mind?" | |

| Nothing to worry yourself over, my Raven. I'm fine. At least you're fine and you had your fun. That's all that really matters.
A lot is running through my mind at the moment. But it can wait. I'm not used to dealing with emotions so the thoughts in my mind are disturbing me. But this is Raven's time to shine. I will not deprive him of the spotlight.

| I gently stroke her cheek with my finger tips.
"Baby. You know you can tell me anything. I don't want any secrets between us. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and then some. So tell me what's on your mind. You know I can tell."
I hate times like this, when I know something's wrong and she won't talk to me.

| The gentle sweet gesture causes me to shiver lightly.
I miss the person, the woman I used to be. The one who never let anything or anyone get under her skin. The one who never gave a damn about what anyone had to say about her. The one who was ruthless. I want her back. |

| I look at her a bit confused.
"I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you saying you don't want to love me anymore? I know I haven't been the perfect fiance, but I'm trying to be better. I love you with all my heart and soul."

| No my Cherokee warrior. It's not at all. I just don't like the effects of the person I've become has on me. You know me, Raven. I've never been the emotional damsel in distress. I've never needed saving before. As for my love for you, that will never change. That is eternal.
I kiss him gently to reassure him. |
