Handler Information
*Handler Name: Corey
*AIM: nivisionproductions
*YIM: nivisionproductions
*What control can we have over your character?
Option 3. (I'm no segments wizard, I usually get stuck on them, but if given ideas for that and/or angles I can usually run with them efficiently. Not comfortable with most others putting words in this character's mouth, though.)

Character Information:

Twitter: @saintof_killers

Full Name: Unknown. There'll be a legal name provided on the legal paperwork, and if management needs, he'll even pretend it's his for a little bit.

Ring Name: V, the Nameless, Number Five, and thanks to twitter the Saint of Killers and οὐδείς.

Nickname: Interchangeable with ring names.

Birthdate: 11/05/1981

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 239 lbs.

Hometown: New York City.

Billed From:

Pic Base: Andy Whitfield can be used for grafficks and such. I don't really like using one, but he's the closest I've come to.
V 3Dd0zdb

Physical Description:
Build: Function far outstrips for-show gym muscle or 'looking cut'. Solid core, limbs branching off that base, built evenly for power.
Features: A worn early 30s, olive complexion, dark hair kept short, pale blue eyes. Quite obviously someone who's spent the last decade and change getting hit in the face for a living-- over what used to be a good bone structure is a nose that's been broken a time or twenty, small facial scars from being busted open, the sort of thickened flesh around the eyebrow/cheek/orbital edge and forehead that longtime fighters have. Old scar that looks like a gouge marking his left side, ribcage-level. Noticeable arm tattoos-- on his left arm, a winding Quetzalcoatl. On his right, upper arm is a (NSFW) rendering of Christine Banna's ...and she didn't run away and on the lower a Fibronacci spiral

Alignment: Chaotic neutral, at times debatably chaotic good. In wrestling terms, face-leaning tweener-- targets any alignment, but heels tend to get sharper responses, the crowds tend to find this and his more fierce moments exciting.

Strengths:

  • 1. Unpredictability: It's hard to counter what you can't see coming. V's behavior often doesn't make sense to others, especially those not close to him, though it always adds up to an end goal; some promotions he's worked for have consequently billed him as a sort of brilliant madman.
  • 2. Suspicious: Outside of perhaps Shane Sanders's loyalty that has been proved over many years, the motto is Trust No One. Even when he is allied with others, he's really more alongside the group than in it; it's kinda like Jack Sparrow-- he expects that when things get ugly, you'll do what's right by you.
  • 3. Analytical: Defaults to logic over emotion. Looks to all the pieces of a situation with a combination of technical-skill and an understanding of human nature.
  • 4. Addict: Or, not that he is an addict, but that he knows he is one, whether or not he's using currently. He knows he doesn't stand to lose the things his opponents are fettered by-- honor, family, pride, limbs... so he'll go that step lower to match his cheating adversary. Can at times go too far and risk too much, because the pain med script that follows is like a sort of extra reward.
  • 5. Experience: He's been at this for fifteen years and held many big titles. It's afforded him the circumstances to learn a lot and focus on long term plans and strategy over desperation and fleeting whim.

Weaknesses:

  • 1. Erratic: Those unpredictable plans don't always come together. When they don't, what's left is a mess.
  • 2. Paranoid: That's what it's generally called when betrayal is expected.
  • 3. Overthinking: Can get lost in the details. Things under the microscope may be less dire than they appear.
  • 4. Addict: Even at times when he's on prescribed Subutex for addiction management, the long-term consequences of respiratory-suppressing drugs affects his endurance. Will never completely be at his peak physically, though he'd deny it.
  • 5. Injury: His most recent injury was a heinous and visceral shoulder dislocation (ball-and-socket humerus) and separation (scalpula) on PDW's Blind Fury pay per view event on April 22, 2014, with compounding injuries to his rotator cuff that required surgery. His lower legs may also be a big target after a car wreck in August 2011, resulting in intramedullary nailing (metal rods through both shins) and some plate-and-screw repair. From a incident of nonwrestling injury, his left thumb has limited mobility due to scarring and loss of some muscle.

Wrestling Style: High-impact technical and power striking. Brawling, puro, and MMA influences. Doesn't leave his feet if he can help it.

Common Moves:

  • Hammerlock twisted into a short-range lariat
  • Wrist lock followed by multiple shoulder blocks
  • Rolling vertical suplex
  • Underhook suplex
  • Snap suplex
  • Dragon suplex
  • Triangle choke
  • Guillotine choke
  • Spinebuster
  • Spear
  • Inverted headlock backbreaker

Signature Move:
Discus lariat

*Signature Move:
Lanzarse (Running lifting spear dropped into a modified spinebuster)

*Signature Move:
Head drop Uranage suplex

Primary Finishing Move:
Rexall - fireman's carry into sitout reverse piledriver, aka Psychodriver

*Secondary Finishing Move:
Huis Clos - pumphandle into sitout reverse piledriver, aka Psychodriver II, best for fast finishes or heavier opponents.

Entrance Music: Alice in Chains - Phantom Limb

Ring Entrance:
The lights go down as the opening riff of Alice in Chains' "Phantom Limb" breaks through the arena, the crowd raising to its feet in anticipation. As the main drums crash down platinum floodlights invade, and after a few moments of distilling everyone's attention the light contains itself to the stage and entrance ramp.

V steps into the circle of stage light, shoulders tense and head slightly bowed, then raising to look out at the audience slowly. He simply stands for a moment, hands clenching and unclenching, as Shane Sanders steps out into the light with him. Finally he rolls out his wrists and neck and they walk side-by-side directly for the ring with a ready-for-business stride. He circles three-quarters of the way around the ring, pushing up on the apron with one knee, Shane standing on the floor near him, and pauses kneeling to look to the camera for the first time, breaking a faint grin and then scanning the fans, shouting out to the people in the front row.

He stands, stepping into the ring quickly, crossing it and raising his hands for a moment before finally stepping to the center of the ring arms crossed, waiting.

Biography:
The man keeps the cards of his personal life held close, but the simple version, the things most easily found from widespread tape hunting and simply talking around:

He started fighting back in 1999 but burst into more widespread visibility in pro wrestling in 2004 with the help of his benefactor, financial and otherwise, Ava Despina. The rise from there was fast, parting ways with Ava less than two years later, going on a rampage for gold within the promotion he was exclusive to.

Pressure built and built. And one day, after he came in three days after defending his current belt in a brutal pay-per-view three-man cage match to cut promotional videos, secretly mid-opiate-detox-- to find himself lined up in an unscheduled rematch-- the straw broke the camel's back and no spinal fusion was fixing it. He held it together until he got to the ring, got the live mic, went the fuck off with nothing held back in a spectacular fashion that had management hurriedly cutting to commercial break, announced he was quitting, had his match, lost his belt, and left.

The full version was filmed by multiple fans in the crowd and spread like crabgrass on YouTube and other video hosting sites. In the meantime, his prior company still held the rights to the pseudonym he'd been wrestling by. He hasn't had a concrete name since; he used many aliases in the following months on the indies, and the initial 'V' for a particularly unwieldy one stuck, with encouragement for personal reasons. It was during this time when he met Shane originally.

And then one day, he seemingly just disappeared.

Dig a little further and you may find rumors of an underground vale tudo ring... but nobody talks too loud from either being wary of those connected or because they don't want to be heard spreading urban legends.

It had been a good three years since his face was seen in mainstream wrestling, then he returned with little warning to EXODUS Pro. The run there was brief, then he jumped ship to Full Throttle Wrestling-- then Platinum Dynasty, first as a part of a Number One Contenders battle royale for the Prodigy Title. He stayed despite not winning it and propelled very quickly to the main event, making up for the loss with lots of wins and finally the Platinum Title in the Platinum Chamber at Reckless Endangerment 3, and reuniting with Shane. Lots of words swirled in the wake of the win, both congratulations and conspiracy-related talks. The end of PDW came at Blind Fury, where he lost the title after being unable to continue due to a severe, grotesque shoulder injury. It's been five months of surgery and rehab since then, rumors swirling of him being in talks with several places, most notably Sin City Wrestling... but apparently not. Insurgency is in his crosshairs, and his motives behind that decision are as of yet unknown.

Accomplishments:
Evo21 Television Champ, Evo21 X Division Champ, Evo21 Heavyweight Champ, Hardcore Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champ, (Unleashed) Circuit Heavyweight Champ, then he defeated the Lightweight Champ to unify both belts into the Circuit Championship. PDW Platinum Champ.
