I was shocked to hear that. Too young to actually watch him, but I always enjoyed a good Macho Man promo that Tim showed me.

That's crazy that you are too young to have watched him perform.
Hell, the Mega Powers break up is what GOT me hooked on wrestling. Savage was a once in a lifetime performer, one half of arguably the best match performed in the United States in the 80s (his Mania III bout with Ricky Steamboat), and was such an innovator he came up with the nWo Invasion style angle IN THE 70's, in Memphis.
