Alexander Remington w/Corey Casey [vs.] Griffin Hawkins w/Stygian

(OOC- sorry peeps, It was supposed to be longer, but I lost the first half. I decided to just post what I have because I don't feel like starting over. I'll be back to top form next week, enjoy!)



Camera's open up in what looks to be..a cemetery. The dark cold skies give this home of the dead a haunting glow. Cameras search until they find me resting against one of the Tombstones. Instead of being dressed in my normal clothes, I'm in my Halloween costume. My long blonde hair is tied back as I'm dressed in a white medieval shirt and black pants, deciding to go as Lestat for Halloween. I even have eyeliner on. I fumble with the cross around my neck before looking at the camera.

"Ah Halloween..my favorite Holiday. The day where parents encourage little boys to dress like little girls and little girls to dress like whores and go door-to-door browbeating hard working Americans to give them free food. Halloween is that magical day of the year where a child is told their grandmother is a demon who has been feeding them rat-casserole with a crunchy garnish of their own scabs. It's also the time of year where people can dress up to be anyone they want. The kind of holiday where a girl can dress like an absolute slut and not be given any flack for it. This is that one special holiday where everyone is not what they seem. Around here in Insurgency everyone is wearing a mask of their own, including Alexander Remington, but before I get to him..."

This promo wasn't just about Remington, it was about someone else.

"Sometime after Battle Grounds went off the air, I was about to find Tiffani and go out and do some gambling at the casino in Vegas when I was confronted by the man who I defeated earlier in the night in a Steel Cage Match..Ethan Cage. He told me that this wasn't over and that he'll see to it that he gets his win back. Sounds like someone's a sore loser. So I'm just going to lay it out like this...Ethan, last week, I beat you fair and square in that very ring. You tried to get under my skin saying that you manhandled Tiffani in your last encounter. Other than sounding like a creepy perverted weirdo..it made the beating on you that more severe. Ethan..last week I walked it, I talked it, and I proved to you and everyone else that I belong in this company and will continue to prove why I am the best in this business. Not only did I give you the beating your momma should've gave you, I also proved that you're not unbeatable and you're not the man you say you are, because I left with my hand raised while you were left looking up at the lights when it was all said and done. You say you want to face me again? Well when you find your balls and decide you want to try me again..I'll be waiting. Last time I beat you like a bad stepchild. Next time, I'll do more than beat you, I'll bloody you and leave you a quivering mess in the middle of the ring. You want your win back? I welcome you to try. Until then, stay the hell out of my way....bitch."

I already knew he wouldn't take what happened to him lying down. If he comes back for me, I'll be prepared.

"Now..on Halloween..everyone enjoys playing someone else. Some go as Vampires like yours truly, others go as Pirates, Wolfmen, Ghosts and Goblins...but Alexander Remington is going as something else this year. A complete and total stooge. You see Remington..once upon a time, you were something. You were a killer. You struck fear into the hearts of those around you just by walking into the room. Now these days...I don't see that man. All I see is a pathetic little grunt who has to take orders from a man who a long time ago if he met in UECW...he would split his head open without a second thought. It truly is a sad sight.."

I reach from behind the Tombstone and pull out the UECW World Heavyweight Title.

"Remember this Alex? This is what drove you. The holy grail of our industry. The very thing that made you what you are. You held this Championship once. In those days you were the man...now you've become a caricature of yourself. Look how soft you've become Alex..you lost to some rookie who couldn't lace your boots on your best day. Hell, everyone in The Empire are doing nothing but leech off of you. Baron Tomson..some wannabe badass who I beat in that very ring weeks ago..is taking credit for you ending Alexander Raven's career. The Remington I know wouldn't let some snot nosed little pissant steal his thunder..no, he would take that pathetic charlatan and drive him right through the ring with the Cashflow. But instead..you just sat there and took it."

I was really disgusted to what Remington was reduced to. I knew I had to get him out of this.

"A long time ago, you were the man. Now..you're nothing. That's why I accepted this match. But between you and me...you need this belt a hell of a lot more than I do. Because everything I've accomplished, I've done on my own and moved on. You think taking this belt will erase everything that I have done in UECW? It won't. Because in UECW, I beat every Superstar that senile old bastard Clay Krueger put in front of me. David Caid, Aries Armadaist, Jack Savage, The Dark Angel, Alexander Raven, nobody was able to touch me. Unlike David Caid, I didn't need to call myself the best in UECW...people did it for me. Not just the guys in the back, but the UECW fans. The fact that I was the man in UECW...the company that you built makes you sick inside doesn't it?

I adjusted the belt to my shoulder.

"That's why you need this belt. Because it's the only thing you're clinging to to remain relevant. You cling to the pipe dream that you were the one everyone was talking about in UECW while I was Champion..but you went from the penthouse to the outhouse, carrying on some petty war with Alexander Raven. While you were busy fighting that pathetic little bitch every week, I was main eventing shows all over the world, putting UECW on the map. You will never be able to erase the history I made in UECW. Ten years from now when people look back on UECW, they are going to talk about the great Champions of the past. Ace Static, Kaden Kessler, Axle Vengeance..and Griffin Hawkins. But this isn't about UECW..."

I slowly rise up, carrying the title.

"This is about you. You can stand there and hide behind The Empire..but I know the truth. Underneath all the bravado..all the arrogance. You're still the same kid. The same little kid..that's trying so hard to win the approval of his adoptive father. The same...little...boy..that
wants so much to be just like the man who has the longest streak in wrestling. But the difference between you and Mark Mayer...is that he actually had balls. So at Violent Impulse..I'm going to beat some damn sense into you. I am going to bring down the Empire one by one. It was a year ago at this time I was facing someone whom I considered a friend in another company...now history repeats itself. This is the best part about Halloween...everyone always pretends to be something they're not.."

I give a smile and walk off with the title as the scene comes to a close.
