The show opens with the ring, covered in a black carpet. The alter of, funeral home has been placed inside the IWF squared circle. Casket, Candles, Flowers the entire works. Inside the center of the ring is Ace Static. Ace is dressed, in black skinny jeans (that are not tattered) a black button up shirt that fits snug, A pair of huge Black Hollywood Fuck off glasses cover his face.He stands there as a huge picture of Damien Drake sits positioned next the casket. It's the most recent picture of him. All big, buff and covered in tribal tattoos. Ace takes the mic.

Ace Static
Ladies and Gentlemen.. Please over the weekend Marshall Dill or better known as Damien Drake to the IWF faithful, passed away. He was found dead. So can I please have everyone pay him the respect he deserves.

The lights in the arena dim low as a spot light hangs in the center of the ring on the casket and picture. The bells begin to sound.

.......Ding!
.......Ding!
.......Ding!
.......Ding!
.......Ding!

The coffin begins to start rattling. Ace looks confused, He looks around before approaching the casket, He holds his hand up slowly attempting to put it ontop of the casket and the lid opens. Grasping Ace by the neck is COREY BULL!!! Corey sits up still holding Ace by the adams apple. Ace finally breaks Corey's grip and fires off a martial arts style kick. NAILING Corey right in his temple. Ace looks almost as if he has seen a ghost. Corey climbs out of casket holding his head and these two men begin going at it. BRAWLING BACK AND FORWARD!! Corey sends Ace staggering with a head butt. Ace on dream street turns around as Corey smashes the huge picture of Damien Drake over Ace's head the frame shatters and shards of glass EVERYWHERE!!! Corey picks Ace up. Holding him in the air by the neck. He glares at Ace with this delayed Chokeslam. Corey shakes his head as Ace knees him in the face. Corey drops Ace. Static yanks Bull by the hair throwing him inside the coffin he came from. Ace slams the coffin shut, this time the door locked. Ace slides out of the ring and reaches under the ring and grabs a sledge hammer.

Ace rolls back into the ring looking pissed as ever begins to pound away on the casket. The metal warps as the silver begins to dent with each thunderous blow. Ace finally has enough and flips the casket over sliding out of the ring. Screaming back at the ring.

Ace Static
YOU WANT THIS CORVIS!! WELCOME BACK TO THE FUCKING STATIC AGE!!

The show fades out to the logo with Ace Static still screaming in the ring

LIVE from the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Ireland

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Odyssey_arena_1

The screen returns to the arena with a shot of each half of the screaming fans. On one side, the screaming protestant loyalists, and on the other, the equally as loud and excited catholic nationalists. You can clearly see a line of members of the Matthews Entertainment Security Force lined up along stairs of the arena, effectively dividing it in half and making sure that no fights will break out between the two sides. The shot cuts to Johnny and Matt, who are sitting in the announcers booth.

Johnny - Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our third stop of the world tour, here in Belfast!

Matt - Johnny, I'm a little scared. The crowd already seems out of control, what are they going to do when Tim Patrick comes out?! And what if he wins!?!

Johnny - Well for those of you who don't know, Tim Patrick is a former IRA member, and a wanted man here in North Ireland. And he has a title match, in the main event, inside hell in a cell

Matt - If you're attending this show live, you either love Tim Patrick, or you want to murder him. There's no in between.

Johnny - After his match tonight, it's being said that the Police Service here have a warrant for his arrest. While the IWF has to follow the laws of the country, they have been doing their best to protect their talent. At this point nobody knows where Tim Patrick is, or when he'll get here, or anything.

Matt - Well I for one am afraid to see what'll happen here if Tim beats Gordon and wins the High Impact title here tonight. But first, we've got to get through a whole show!

Johnny - Starting with the first match of the night, up right now.

The camera cuts to Heather Thompson, standing in the ring along with Ted Anderson, Pancake Pete, and Damon Synn, three of IWF's oldest and most well known show openers.

Heather Thompson –Ladies and gentlemen…   This match is a 3 on 1 elimination match that is scheduled for one fall…  Introducing first, Jobbers United!

All three members of Jobbers United raises their arms up in the air as the crowd feels a bit unsure at how this would go about.

Heather Thompson – And his opponent

Messiah comes out with no music as he just heads to the ring.

Heather Thompson – From the Unholy Gates, MASOCHIST MESSIIIAAHHHHH!

Matt – Looks like Messiah’s ready to take it to these three young men!

Johnny – Rumour had it that Gunther and the great Jackky Dane would be appearing in this match, but at this point it doesn't look like we'll be seeing them.

Matt - Oh we will one day Johnny. One day they'll return

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
Masochist Messiah [vs Jobbers United

[Ding!  Ding!  Ding!]

Messiah grabs Ted Anderson and he quickly hits Ego Driven with devastating impact.  He then makes a cover after doing said move.

Messiah then grabs Synn and he hits Ego Driven on him with brute force, pinning him down.

Matt – I’ve never seen anyone pin three people THAT fast!

Johnny – I know… It’s ridiculous.

Heather Thompson – Here is your winner… MASOCHIST MESSSIIIAAHHHHH

Masochist Messiah stands up and celebrates his first victory in weeks as the referee raises his arm to the sky. The crowd cheers slightly as he runs around the ring celebrating. As Masochist Messiah begins to walk up the entrance ramp and backstage, David Caid walks down to the ring, smirking at Masochist Messiah as he walks by. David Caid slides into the ring and looks around, before grabbing a microphone from a stage hand.

David Caid
Look at all you fans. All cheering for me. I should feel so honored.

The entire crowd begins to boo loudly at David Caid, who remains unaffected by the chorus of boos.

David Caid
Even after all that I did last week, I still have not been given a contract by the IWF. So this week, I'm going to fuck with their day even more. I'm challenging anyone in the locker room, anyone at all. Come out here, and fight me. Put your contract on the line. If I beat you, I get your IWF contract, but if you beat me, I'll never come near the IWF again

David Caid stands around, pacing in the ring, waiting for someone to walk out. Suddenly, static interference is heard as the crowd hears "Echo-Rain-India-Killer Rain-Echo-India-Gray-Nevada-Sierra Let the nightmare begin" as Another Me by Jeff Hardy plays. Erik Reigns walks out from backstage with a referee, and together they run down to the ring together. David Caid smiles as the referee rings for the bell and the match begins

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
David Caid [vs] Erik Reigns

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Erik Reigns immediately runs at David Caid and tries to hit a clothesline. David Caid ducks underneath it and turns around, as Erik Reigns also does the same. David Caid knees Erik Reigns in the gut and suddenly reaches over him and grabs Erik Reign's right arm, twisting it and locking it in a kimura. Erik Reigns struggles with the hold, before eventually tapping out to prevent his arm from being snapped.

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Johnny - Well that was fast

David Caid suddenly, in one quick and sudden motion, snaps Erik Reigns arm before releasing the hold. Erik Reigns falls down to the ground, clutching at his arm. The referee pushes David Caid away before tending to Erik Reigns, calling for help backstage. Suddenly, David Caid pushes the referee out of the way and locks in another kimura lock, this time on the left arm of Erik Reigns. David Caid yanks and eventually snaps that arm too, before releasing the hold.

Matt - What the hell, did he just break BOTH of Erik Reign's arms?

Johnny - This guy is legit crazy

A medical staff runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, immediately immobilizing the arms of Erik Reigns and starting to move him out of the ring. As David Caid smiles as the crowd boos loudly, Jessica Matthews walks out from backstage, with a microphone in hand.

Jessica Matthews
I hate to break it to you David, but that's not how we do business here. People can't just fight away their contracts unless WE say so. However, since you've effectively put one of our wrestlers out of commission, I'll make you an offer. If you can beat my hand chosen superstar, you can get Erik Reigns' contract. But if you lose, you're never allowed to step foot in an IWF arena again

Jessica smiles at David, who grins right back.

David Caid
Deal!

Adrenalize starts as Brad Franklin suddenly appears backstage. He looks at Jessica and nods, before he makes his way down the ramp. He stops along the way teasing the fans, he slides under the ring rope and hops up on the second turnbuckle soaking in the boos from the crowd. As he looks across the ring at his opponent he smirks, not thinking very highly of IWF’s newest acquisition. David Caid paces in his corner, ready to fight for a job.

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
David Caid [vs] Brad Franklin

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Johnny - This should be a much more even contest than our opening match.

Matt - That gauntlet was more of a slaughter than a match.

Brad Franklin hops from the second turnbuckle up to the top and launches himself backwards with a moonsault right off the bat. Caught off guard, David Caid has little time to do more than get driven to the mat under his two hundred pound opponent. The fans immediately come to life. If nobody was excited for this contest, Franklin had just changed that.

Johnny - Brad Franklin throwing caution to the wind and going high risk already.

Matt - Big risk equals big reward, and Brad now has control of the ring.

Brad pushes up off the mat while David tries to shrug that misstep off. David is mostly up to his feet by the time Brad makes his way over to him, and manages to counter a right hand by ducking under and pushing Brad into the ropes. Brad rebounds, his back to his opponent, and now it is David’s turn to go high impact by taking Brad over with a German suplex.

Matt - That was a good way to use Brad’s momentum against him.

David sits up and spins himself around on the mat, trying to grab hold of his adversary before he can slither away. He gets a grip on Brad’s wrist, and yanks it towards his stomach, leaning back. As Brad falls forward, David throws his legs up in the air, landing them firmly on Brad Franklin’s shoulders and sinking in a leg triangle that shocks the fans as much as it does Brad. With his air flow cut off, Brad kicks his feet out, a failed attempt at an escape, but then thinks of a better plan, firmly planting both feet under himself, and straightening his back. In doing so, he lets David sink the triangle in causing him to be suffocated by his own shoulder. Brad locks his free arm around David’s leg and lifts him a foot or so off the ground before slamming him to the mat. Brad rolls forwards on his feet, and flips forward as David’s hold loosens. Brad bridges, putting David in a pinning predicament.

-1-

-2-

David abandons any hope of once again sinking in the triangle and kicks out, releasing his grip.

Johnny - Great counter by Brad Franklin.

Matt - I don’t think that David Caid saw that coming.

Both men get up to their feet fairly quickly following the pin attempt, but the moment of hesitation that where Brad tries to catch his breath causes him to be at a disadvantage. David Caid once again grabs Brad’s wrist, pulling him into a quick kick to the gut that doubles him over. David ducks under Brad’s arm but maintains his hold on his wrist, contorting his opponents arm. Brad balls up the fist of his free arm, but doesn’t have a chance to throw the punch as David twists and takes Brad over with an arm drag.

Matt - David Caid is working that left arm and shoulder.

Johnny - That is what these submission specialists do, target a limb and then go for the kill.

Brad falls into a seated position, and tries to shake out his arm, before pulling himself back up by grabbing hold of the ropes with his good arm. David is already sizing him up from behind. Brad turns, and David once again seizes the left wrist, pushing Brad into the ropes before whipping him across the ring. Brad hits the ropes and rebounds back towards David. David leans forward, wanting to take Brad over with a back body drop, but only gets a kick to the upper chest area as Brad puts the brakes on.

Matt - You think people would learn to stop trying that move.

Johnny - It never really pans out.

David shoots straight up from the impact, and Brad lurches forward, wrapping his arms around David’s arms and around his midsection. Brad tries to take him over with a belly to belly suplex, but David knees him in the gut, preventing the maneuver. Brad steps back, off balance, but tries to keep his hold. David kicks at Brad’s knee while off balance forcing him down to a knee as his leg buckles under him. Brad can’t hold his grip and David squirms loose before firing a roundhouse kick that catches Brad right on the cheekbone.

Johnny - That may have knocked him out!

Brad falls lifelessly to the mat, but David stays right with him, grabbbing a hold of the left wrist for the last time. David bends Brad’s arm over his head, and then wraps his free arm around the back of his neck locking in the Deadly Infection submission choke. The official slides into position to ask Brad if he wants to submit but Brad refuses, reaching out to the bottom rope with his free arm. David leans back, putting more pressure on the neck and shoulder, and pulling Brad further away from the rope. With no other option, Brad taps out.

[Ding Ding Ding!

Matt - What a match!

Heather Thompson - Here is your winner via submission DAVID CAID!!!!!

David Caid stands up as the referee raises his arm to the sky. The crowd boos as he slowly exits the ring, laughing at Brad Franklin. He gets to the top of the ramp and smiles at Jessica Matthews, who reluctantly holds out a piece of paper. David Caid grabs a pen from her hand, signs the paper, and then walks backstage, leaving Jessica standing there, new contract in hand.

Johnny - Looks like we've officially got a new member of the IWF

Matt - I can't wait to see how he does in the future. After what he did tonight, I'm sure he'll be great

The screen cuts backstage, where Corey Bull is seen walking. He paces back and forward panting like a over worked farm animal. IWF medics slowly approach him to check on him after that assault from earlier. Before the medic can comfort Bull he snaps. He makes light work of these four medics. Throwing them around like rag dolls. Corey looks pissed as he turns around he is sent tumbling into the camera man. Knocking us over we watch everything happen from the ground side ways its ACE STATIC! Ace must not be done as the two continue to pound away at each other. Ace raining down blows is shoved with all Corey's might into steel piping that is used for the IWF stage. Corey welding a pipe. place a shot into Ace's gut. Slumping him over, the bigger man, Corey Bull gets the advantage picking up Ace to powerbomb him onto the cold unforgivng concrete floor. Ace COUNTERS! He begins to bluntly strike Corey in the top of his head with a RAILROAD SPIKE! BLOOD BEGINS TO FLOW!!! Corey slumps down to his knees as Ace charges him and PUNTS HIM IN THE FACE!! Corey's body crumbles to the ground.

Ace Static
Corvis, what you did to Axle.. what you did to Damien.. what you did to my sister. you will pay. Your pain will be my pleasure. And your screams Corvis... they will be my symphony. See you.... SOON!

To add even more insult to injury, Ace throws one last stomp onto Bull before leaving. The screen quickly cuts away from the motionless Corey Bull to the arena. Suddenly, the lights go out, and the screen cuts to a shot of a dark room. A light is flicked on and suddenly the person on the screen can be seen.

The man is Tim Patrick and the crowd erupts in the craziest mixed reaction ever seen in wrestling.  Half the crowd is booing furiously, screaming for Tim's head.  The other half is cheering as if they are watching their biggest hero. From the video feed, its unclear where Tim Patrick is, if he's even in the arena or not.  The camera zooms in really close and Tim begins to speak.

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Normal_shot0045~17

Tim Patrick
The time is now, Belfast.  I have waited my entire life for an opportunity like this.  The only other "wrestling championships" I have held have been in illegal backyard promotions I participated in as a teenager.  This....this is the big leagues.  And this city...I have bled here, I have fought here, I was a solder here.  Tonight, in front of people who still want me dead and people who I would die for, I'm taking the High Impact Championship from Gordon Fury.  And nobody here is going to stop me.  Tiocfaidh ár lá.

The screen cuts to black as the mixed reaction continues.

Johnny - Are you listening to this right now? I can't even hear myself think over this noise

Matt - The feelings towards Tim Patrick tonight are insanely mixed. I for one hope he wins the title. Talk about the crowning moment of your career, to win here, with all these people

Johnny - Its not an understatement to say that this might be Tim Patrick's most important night in his wrestling history

Eventually it dies down as the lights turn back on and Heather Thompson is shown in the ring.

Heather Thompson – This is a singles match scheduled for one fall!

Johnny - David Caid and Brad Franklin just put on a hell of a show. Hopefully these two don’t disappoint.

Matt - Both Saint and Cassidy Smith have something to prove tonight.

Johnny - That is the only way to get ahead in IWF.

Heather Thompson – Introducing first, SAINT!!!!!

"Requiem for a Dream" softly plays throughout the arena as the lights fade dim. Saint slowly walks to the top of the stage, and though one can see his eyes, he glares at those at the fans near the barricades on either side of the ramp, peering into their souls as he slowly makes his way down the ramp and toward the ring.

Johnny - Saint happens to be coming off a huge debut win against Domino Harvey last week.

Matt - Pretty sure he may have ended her career in her debut match.

Saint offers no emotion, as he comes to the bottom of the ramp stretching out his arm and letting his hand brush across the apron. He reaches up, pulling himself up onto the apron with the help of the middle rope. Staring back out into the crowd he steps between the ropes and into the ring. The fans seem to not know what to do with the cryptic star with mixed cheers and boos breaking out over a confused chattering. Looking away from the crowd, he stares up the ramp, waiting for his opponent to yank open the curtain.

Heather Thompson – And his opponent... Cassidy Smith!!!!

Predator by Ice Cube hits the loudspeakers and out walks Cassidy Smith to the ring.

Matt - You can’t help but notice Cassidy’s lackluster entrance.

Johnny - There are more important things....

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
Saint [vs] Cassidy Smith

[Ding Ding Ding!]

The official is a little quick on ringing the bell, with all of the tension hanging in the air. Cassidy is barely between the ropes before he is blindsided by Saint with right and left hands. Cassidy leans back against the ropes and covers up, trying somehow to protect himself. The referee tries to step in between the two when Cassidy finally manages to give Saint a small push to create some space. Saint comes charging back in, but is greeted by an uppercut that nearly takes him off his feet.

Johnny - That was a nice shot from Cassidy.

Matt - When all else fails, go immediately for that knock out shot.

Saint staggers back, and Cassidy runs towards him, driving him down to the mat with a heavy clothesline. Saint immediately turns over and pushes himself to his feet, but Cassidy is back on top of him, locking him up and taking him over with a vertical suplex. Cassidy rolls over, hooking Saint’s leg for a quick pin attempt.

-1-

-2-

Saint kicks out as the official’s hand is on it’s way back up from the mat. He pushes Cassidy’s head away, and then follows it up with an opportunistic kick to the face as Cassidy pulls away. Saint pushes himself forward off the mat, and dives forward to Cassidy, who is down on all fours. Saint crushes him in the temple with a forearm, and both men head back down to the mat. The fans come alive, but not for the action in the ring, instead turning their attention to the stage where Masochist Messiah steps out from behind the curtain.

Matt - What the hell is he doing back out here?

Johnny - He dominated multiple stars in the opening contest of the night, but he doesn’t look very satiated.

Matt - You don’t think he is going to come down here do you?

As if hearing the announcers talk, Masochist starts down to the ring at a brisk walk, sizing up the two stars in the ring as he does. Saint is back up, raining down left and rights on Cassidy as he tries to get back up. Masochist slides under the bottom rope and into the ring, but Saint is not caught off guard. As Masochist comes within arm’s reach, Saint throws a clothesline, but it is ducked by Messiah and the big man carries on past him, blasting Cassidy Smith with a big clothesline of his own that sends Smith cartwheeling back to the mat. Cassidy rolls under the bottom rope, and falls flat on his stomach outside of the ring, while Masochist turns back to face the other man in the ring. To his surprise Saint has already bailed from the ring, and is backpedaling up the ramp, not wanting any part of the big man.

Matt - Well this contest seems to have met a quick and unexpected end.

Johnny - Masochist Messiah seems to just be running all over superstars tonight.

Matt - What does that mean for the rest of the matches scheduled for tonight?

The official slides out of the ring as Masochist takes a step towards him next. Running around to the timekeeper, the referee issues his ruling on the match. Heather Thompson listens, and then nods her head in agreement before making the official announcement.

Heather Thompson - As a result of outside interference, this match has been ruled a no contest!

The fans boo raucously, which only fuels the smile on Masochist’s face. He turns, facing Saint, who is already at the top of the ramp as the show cuts to commercial.

The show returns from commercial as Enemy by Fozzy suddenly begins playing over the loudspeakers. Philip Joseph walks out from backstage and down the entrance ramp towards the ring. He has a microphone in hand as he slides into the ring. Philip Joseph stands up and looks around at the crowd, who aren’t quite sure what to make of him being there

Matt – What the flying balloons is Philip doing out here?

Johnny – I don’t know, but we haven’t seen or heard from him since his championship loss to Griffin. Maybe he’s out here to address that.

Philip Joseph looks around at the crowd before raising the microphone to his mouth.

Philip Joseph
A few weeks ago, I finally got my chance to fight for the IWF Championship. Unfortunately for everyone, I had some outside the ring personal issues that distracted me, and I lost my match. Griffin beat me, but he didn’t beat the real me. I allowed these personal issues to affect my in ring performance. That is why I lost.

Philip takes a deep breath and looks around at the crowd again

Philip Joseph
But I’m happy to say that all those issues have been sorted out. And now I’m back. And I’m here to get that match that I still deserve. I deserve to fight Griffin with all of my mind and body in it. So I’ll wait here. I’m not leaving until Griffin or the IWF grants me my rematch. It’s only fair.

Philip Joseph crosses his arms and stands in the ring, waiting for someone to walk out. Eventually, a voice is heard, but it doesn’t belong to Griffin or Jessica Matthews.

Molly Reid
Whoa whoa whoa, hold on a minute

Molly Reid walks out from backstage, wearing street clothes. She has a microphone in hand as she begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring.

Molly Reid
YOU’RE not leaving until you get a title shot? What the fuck have you done to deserve any title shot? Last I checked, you LOST to Griffin in your last match. You aren’t entitled to any rematch. You can’t come out here and demand shit.

Philip Joseph
I already told you, I had personal distractions that were affecting my performance. I wasn’t myself in that match; any idiot with two eyes could see that

Molly Reid
And that gives you reason to demand another shot how? We all have stuff going on in our personal lives, you don’t see it affecting anyone else. Why should you get a title shot over someone who’s done what you couldn’t do? Someone who has actually beaten Griffin. Someone like…well someone like me, for instance

Philip Joseph
You got lucky last week, but we both know that I’m by far the better wrestler than you and people would much rather see me fight Griffin again. Face it hun, you’re just outmanned.

Molly Reid stares at him for a few moments, not quite sure what to make of what he’s just said. Eventually, she goes to talk again

Molly Reid
Well, I guess you’re right…I’m just not as good as you

Molly Reid goes to turn around, but suddenly wheels around and smashes the microphone into the head of Philip Joseph, knocking him to the ground. Molly Reid drops down and continues to smash the microphone into his skull, before eventually throwing it away and standing back up, walking out of the ring.

Johnny – I guess Molly didn’t take too kindly to those harsh words by Phil

Matt – Yeah, she’s not the girl you want to piss off, come on Phil. You should know this

Molly Reid slides out of the ring and grabs a steel chair and slides back into the ring. She walks over to Philip Joseph, who is getting to his feet. Molly Reid drops the chair and runs at Philip, jumping and hitting a 540 triple kick to his head. Philip Joseph collapses to the mat on his back, as Molly Reid walks over to the chair and picks it up, before calmly walking towards the turnbuckle. Molly Reid climbs up and balances on the top.

Johnny – Is she about to do what I think she’s going to do?

Molly Reid yells at Philip Joseph in the ring, before jumping off of the top rope, flying through the air and then slamming the edge of the chair she’s holding right onto the neck of Philip Joseph. He immediately rolls around in pain, before getting to all fours and coughing up blood

Matt – Was that what you thought she was going to do?

Johnny – Oh god no, that was so much worse. I think I might throw up

Matt – Philip will be lucky to talk ever again after that

Molly Reid stands up and sees Philip Joseph on his hands and knees. She takes a few steps back, before running and punt kicking him in the head. Philip Joseph immediately flips over, completely unconscious.

Johnny – Punt kick!

Matt – And Phil’s dead

Molly Reid stares at the motionless Philip Joseph, before grabbing a microphone. She sees the medical staff as well as members of ME Security running down to the ring. The medics slide into the ring and immediately begin treating Philip.

Molly Reid
Nobody gets a title shot but me fucker

Molly Reid drops the microphone and walks over to ME Security, who begin to escort her up the ramp and backstage, while the medical staff begin immobilizing Philip Joseph’s neck and lifting him onto a stretcher. The screen goes to commercial with a shot of Philip Joseph being wheeled out of the arena, as replays of Molly Reid’s punt kick play.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The show returns from commercial with a shot of Johnny and Matt sitting at their announcer table

Johnny - Ladies and gentlemen, I've just been told that Molly Reid was escorted and banned from the building for the rest of the night

Matt - Makes sense, after that vicious attack on Philip Joseph, she deserves to be banned

The screen cuts to Heather Thompson standing in the middle of the ring

Heather Thompson – This match is scheduled for one fall… Introducing first…

“Brand New Guy” begins to blare over the speakers.

"I'm camo down to my boxer, gold teeth, a bathing ape
It's animals in my projects like monkeys, orangutans
Banana clip on that chopper, I hold heat, bangers bang."

Smoke slowly begins to fill the stage.

"Brand new clip, brand new nine
Brand new bitch, brand new ride
Brand new weed, brand new high
Brand new me meet the brand new guys."

After a few moments, Flex Johnson walks out and looks out at the crowd.

Heather Thompson – From Harlem, New York… weighing in at 210 pounds…. FLEX JOHNNNSSSOOOONNNN!

"Put him in the ground, he was down to earth
N'act up n***a, I been down since birth
Backpack full of random work
With two bad hoes I'll teach you how to jerk."

He walks slowly down the ramp. Flex circles the ring one time, and then rolls into the ring.

"Hands up, stick your mans up, your time's up, the new brand's up, Q!"

He walks over to the near turn buckle and raises his hands.

Matt – Ya know… last week this man got a win over the beast that is known as Corey Bull. I’ve got to say that was quite impressive.

Johnny – He’s now facing a living legend. A former member of Hollywood’s Fucking Finest, Ace Static. Let’s see how successful he’ll be when he faces someone that’d dismantle him.

Heather Thompson – And his opponent…

The lights in the arena, one by one slowly fade off until the entire arena sits pitch black. Tonight’s turn out is great, the arena is nearly jam packed with maybe the greatest wrestling fans ever seen to date. A buzz falls over the crowd as we sit there... waiting. Finally the lights along the tron pulsate as static begins to flow from the speakers. The static is quickly ended by the pulsating intro of “Clockwork Orange’s Singing in the Rain” by Gene Kelly. Some fans cheer and others boo.

“I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again”

Abruptly Gene Kelly’s 1952 classic stops.. “Unwelcome” by The Plot In You blares with every pulse of the song's intro, a series of bright blinding white lights flash in time. Violently, the rips through the speakers as smoke pours out on the entrance stage until it engulfs the entire stage. The lights flicker off, as a neon pink strobe lights flicker through out the arena. Neon Pink and Neon Blue lights begin to rapidly flash across the stage. Ace “Fuckin” Static bursts through the curtain. He stands on stage before he looks around smiling sadistically he stalks down to the ring looking like a disturbed man. He stares into the distance. The fans boo Ace until he slides into the ring. Strobe:like lights surround and overtake the ring as Ace Static rises up from the mat and climbs up on the ring ropes, balancing on the center of the middle rope. Facing the hard camera, Ace extends his middle and fore fingers in the shape of a gun. He 'pulls the trigger" and springboards off landing in the center of the ring. He patiently for the bell to ring.

Heather Thompson – From Hollywood, California… weighing in at 202 pounds…. ACE “FUCKIN’” STATICCCCC!

Matt – There he is, the man who obviously have nothing to lose.

Johnny – That’s right and now it’s time for the match to begin.

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
Flex Johnson [vs] Ace Static

[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

Flex and Ace lock up in a grapple as Ace has him in a headlock. Flex struggles a bit as he attempts to just push off with ease. Flex rakes Ace in the eyes as he removes himself from the headlock position He kicks him in the gut as he hits a massive forearm straight to Ace’s face. He irish whips Ace as he then hits a roundhouse kick, taking Ace’s head clean off it seems. Ace gets up in a slight daze as Flex grabs him. He then hits a spinning heel kick, taking his head off. Ace is clearly dizzy as Flex grabs Ace and he hits a vertical suplex with quickness and impact. Flex grabs Ace as he then irish whips him to the corner of the north turnbuckle.

Matt – Flex is dominating in the early going! What could this mean for the rest of this match!?

Johnny – It means that he’s building momentum for how the rest of this contest is going to go.

Flex then backs up and rushes to Ace, hitting a dropkick to Ace’s face. This causes Ace to fall face first on the mat as the dropkick meets his face. Ace falls to the mat as Flex rolls Ace over for a cover.

He then comes up and he hits yet another knife edge chop, making Flex’s chest red hot. Ace then grabs Flex, following up with a swift snap suplex, quickly being on his feet, posing afterwards.

Matt – Looks like Ace is getting his momentum after slowly down Flex!

Johnny – I admit, I thought Ace was a goner in the early going!

Ace has space between himself and Flex as he hits a throat thrust which has Flex holding his throat, rolling over in pain. Ace picks up Flex as he hits a german suplex, almost hitting Flex on top of his head in the process. Ace smirks as he grabs Flex, hitting numerous roundhouse kicks in the process. Ace then backs up as he sets up. He then hits Flex with a vicious punt to his skull, which Ace calls DaZED N’ CONfuSEd.

Matt – What a vicious kick to Flex’s skull Johnny!

Johnny – Matt…. That’s all she wrote. Flex didn’t’ stand a chance.

Matt – And here’s Ace to make the cover…

Heather Thompson – Here’s your winner…. ACE STATTIIICCCCCCC!

Ace raises his arms up as he celebrates his win in the ring. He looks down at Flex Johnson before exiting the ring and walking to the back, laughing as he does so. Eventually Flex gets to his feet and begins to limp his way up the ramp and towards the stage as well

Johnny - What a crazy night for Ace, not only does he twice attack Corey Bull, but he also beats Flex in a highly competitive match!

Matt - Yeah, big night for him right there

Suddenly, the lights in the arena go out and the crowd cheers loudly, expecting another Tim Patrick promo. However, when they come back on, something different is going on inside the ring.

Matt - Ladies and Gentlemen we have a...special attraction match for you here tonight.

In one corner, Aries can be seen hopping back and forth between each foot, a look of absolute intensity on his face. In the other corner stands.... a full grown stag.

Johnny - What we have here is a special exhibition match, set up by Aries himself!

Matt - Yeah, apparently Aries requested to have a match with an.. Irish Red Deer?

The referee signals for the bell, and Aries immediately shoots out of his corner, posting up in the center of the ring as he motioned as if he were going to attempt to grapple with the full grown buck, who seemed less than interested.

Gradually, Aries inched closer, before getting a little to close for comfort for the deer, and cracked Aries in the shin with a lightning fast buck, sending the Canadian hopping around the ring on one foot as he grasped his shin in agony.

Matt - I'm pretty sure that things legs could crack a human femur if it kicked hard enough.

Johnny - Well, a fully grown stag can grow to stand about 48 inches tall!

Having recovered from the deer retaliation, Aries moves in once again, moving his arms up to grapple with the deer once again. But, history seemed to repeat itself as the buck's hoof found its way to Aries' shin once again, causing him to instantly retreat as he howled in agony.

Aries Armadaist
RIGHT IN THE SAME FUCKKING SPOT

Matt - We'll have to censor that one... If not this whole "match."

Johnny - Oh yeah, PETAs gonna have our asses!

Aries simply charges in now, running full speed as he finally manages to pass the iron clad defense of the Red Deer's hoof, and immediately just began to wail on the deer. Unloading punches and kicks into its torso as it seemed Aries now had it trapped in the corner. Aries wouldn't stay on the offensive long, however, as the deer let out a bellow and simply powered it way out of the corner, sending Aries tumbling back as it charged forward.

Hesitantly, Aries rose back to his feet, the deer seeming to be on the offensive as it waiting for him to stand up, stamping its foot and lowering its head.

Matt - I think Aries is in trouble now. Looks like the Red Deer is ready to go on the offensive.

Johnny - And that 480lbs of offense, at that!

Matt - Since when are you a deer expert anyways?

Johnny - You don't know me... You don't know my hobbies.

As Aries finally got to his feet, the deer instantly charged, slamming it's head into his abdomen and immediately pushing him into another turnbuckle. Immediately, Aries, grasped onto the buck's antlers, trying to divert them from puncturing him as the Deer dug its hooves into the canvas, refusing to allow him out of the corner as it attempted to gore him.

Matt - So do we call that Spear or a Gore?

Johnny - Well, I still call it a deer, Matt...

Aries then wrapped his arms around the base of the deer's antlers, double underhooking them in fact as he began to push back. Even the crowd voiced their mild sense of being impressed as Aries actually began to over power the full grown buck and slowly push it back. Both digging their heels into the canvas as they fought for control. Eventually, the two stopped in the center of the ring, deadlocked. Neither refusing to budge now as neither of them seemed to over power their each either.

Matt - One wrong move, and Aries could wind up skewered on one of those antlers!

Johnny - Aries is a resourceful guy though! Don't count him out just because he should be CLEARLY out matched here.

Aries suddenly looked as if his strength was beginning to wane, his legs beginning to tire as he slowly began to inch back toward the corner. His head began to dart back and forth between the deer, and behind him. With a wild idea, Aries planted his heels once again, and bellowing out a battle cry of his own, looked as if he were attempting to lift the deer. The crowd let out a collective gasp and a cheer as the deer's feet actually left the ground, Aries managing to actually lift the deer up, and over his head before falling back, the large buck's back thudding heavily against the canvas.

Matt - Did Aries Armadaist just suplex a deer?!

Johnny - Suplexed, and going for a pin!

Aries kept his underhook on the deers antler as he arched his body, bridging the suplex for a pin.

-1-

-2-

-3-

The bell sounds again, and Aries releases his hold, immediately standing up and holding his arms into the air, victorious over the buck.

Matt - Ladies and Gentlemen, we've just witnessed the first ever Inter Species match up in an IWF ring. With Aries Armadaist victorious over an Irish Red Deer.

Johnny - And a solid 16 point buck at that! Luckily, deers are too stupid to kick out.

With his theme beginning to blare over the PA, Aries took off up the ramp, celebrating his victory as he attempted to get the fans excited as he was about his victory the entire way before disappearing behind the curtain. The show fades out to a commercial

We return from commercial with a shot of Heather in the center of the ring as the crowd is fired up for the next match.

"Come with me" by P. Diddy comes on through the pa syste, as Cameron Thomas comes out through the ring. He is heading up the ramp, smirking at the fans who has given him a mixed reaction. Cameron Thomas is seen shadow boxing as he prepares to walk up the steps. He then walks up the stars and he enters the ring. He paces himself as he looks prepared and very intense. He stands there as he prepares for what he's up against.

Heather Thompson - Following match is set for one fall making his way to the ring first from East Rutherford, New Jersey weighing 285 pounds Cameron Thomas!

Johnny - We got a match up between these two big boys ready to throw down tonight.

Matt - They better for our sake Johnny, these fans are hard to impress.

(The beats of “Something New” by Rev Theory crank through the audio as the lights go dark and the top of the ramp is lit by red lights. Out walks a tall woman with a chain draped over her shoulder, followed by a mountain of a man)

Love to hate, repeating my mistakes
Now theres no one left to listen
No one left to listen
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there’s no one left to listen
No one left to listen

(The Hatebringer Corey Bull and the Voodoo Queen Calypso Laveau raise their arms to the air and cross them in an X when the chorus kicks in)

RIGHT NOW! We’re taking control
Tired of waiting, tired of waiting for something new
RIGHT NOW! We’re taking control
Tired of waiting, tired of waiting for something new

(A large mushroom shaped explosion goes off behind them as Calypso points to the ring and The Hatebringer starts to march with a purpose as she follows behind him)

Twist the knife, and feed the sacrifice
When there’s no one left to listen, no one left to listen
Say goodbye, the king will die tonight
And now everyone will listen, everyone will listen

(As the chorus kicks in again, Bull slides into the ring and stands, ready to fight. Calypso walks around the ring and smiles a smile of pure evil as the match gets ready to start)

Heather Thompson - From the Great Northwoods of Michigan weighing 328 pounds Corey Bull!

Johnny - Corey dosen't look to be at 100% going into this match Matt.

Matt - Well what do you expect Johnny? We just saw him get attacked a couple of times.

Ref moves in to signal the bell however Cameron jumps the gun and attacks Corey the moment the bell rings.

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
Corey Bull [vs] Cameron Thomas

[Ding Ding Ding]

Cameron backs Corey into a corner and rains down closed fists into the forehead of Corey. The ref moves in and warns Cameron to back off and he finally relents. Corey pulls himself out of the corner and Cameron runs in with a stinger splash but Corey rams a forearm into the face which causes Cameron to stagger back a few steps. Corey moves in from his corner and strikes with a few hooks to the face plus a few body shots to the gut ending with a throat thrust that knocks Cameron on his back.

Johnny - Corey might not be at 100% but he's taking the fight straight to Cameron.

Matt - Even after catching him off guard, Corey was able to turn the match completly around in his favor.

Cameron pulls himself back to his feet and Corey grabs him and throws him hard against the corner. Corey swings wildly but Cameron ducks under and traps Corey in the corner then lets him have it with a few clubbing blows to the face of Corey who attempts to shrug it off. Cameron nails a clothesline forcing Corey out of the corner, Cameron then latches both arms around Corey's waist then flings him over with a belly to belly suplex. Cameron waits for Corey to struggle to his feet before he runs in and latches on once more. However Corey manages to block the suplex and elbows Cameron a few times in the face, Cameron pushes Corey towards the ropes and charges towards him as he comes around the rebound, Cameron flings Corey over with a headlock takedown as he comes back towards him and keeps the headlock on him, leaning to the side to apply as much pressure as possable.

Johnny - Cameron able to keep the bigger man down.

Matt - Smart move, don't give Corey a chance to build any momentum.

Corey struggles in the hold and manages to roll to his feet but Cameron keeps the pressure on him. Corey however manages to throw him up with a side suplex that takes both men down. Ref starts counting as both men roll around the mat.

Corey pulls himself up using the ropes, Cameron is to his feet already. Cameron charges in with a big boot but Corey ducks it and charges towards the ropes and bounces back but Cameron intercepts him with a back body drop. Corey pulls himself to his feet but dosen't stand up all the way as Cameron nails the big boot that floors him. Cameron then makes the cover.

Corey forces the shoulder up.

Johnny - Corey isn't going to be stopped like that.

Matt - But he's hurting, Cameron needs to stay on him and not allow Corey a chance.

Cameron forces Corey to his feet but he breaks his grip and throws a few punches to the face but Cameron ducks low and gets behind him then manages to throw Corey backwards with a german suplex pinning Corey's shoulders to the mat.

Corey manages to kick out.

Matt - Cameron almost got Corey there!

Johnny - But Corey gets out of it and this match continues.

Cameron stalks Corey as he struggles to his feet, Calypso climbs to the ropes and directs the ref's attention towards her. This allows Corey to strike Cameron below the belt and allows him to run towards the ropes and catches Cameron on the rebound and nails Cameron with the Face Drive.

Matt - Corey with a huge counter!

Johnny - And some help from his manager.

Corey pulls Cameron to his feet and sets him up for the Downward Spiral then holds him for a few moments before driving Cameron straight down into the mat with move!

Matt - And there's the Downward Spiral!

Johnny - Cameron might be out cold!

Corey pulls Cameron's body on her shoulders and pins him.

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Heather Thompson - Here's your winner, Corey Bull!

Johnny - That was too close.

Matt - No kidding but Corey in spite of his current state was able to walk away with the win.

Corey pulls himself back to his feet and looks down at his fallen foe and walks on him as he leaves the ring. We take one more close up on Corey who glances at the camera before walking away. The show cuts to the backstage area where Parker, with earbuds in his ears, strolls through the hallway. He stops at a particular busy intersection, searching for where catering is set up. He turns left, and is rewarded for his guess. He steps towards a table with twenty or so bottles of water sitting in a tub of ice. Parker allows himself a victory smirk and reaches for one of the bottles when someone grabs a hold of his arm stopping him. Parker turns to see Steel Angel. Instantly enraged, he looks down at his arm, prompting Steel to remove his hand and take a step back. Parker removes the earbud from his ear and turns away from Steel, grabbing one of the bottles of water.

Steel Angel
You should really consider your headphones in all the time. I have been trying to get your attention.

Parker
You got it. What do you want?

Steel Angel
Last week, you going all noble and challenging Jaci and Aries for the tag titles, does that mean you have my back?

Parker smirks, finding the idea amusing.

Parker
Parker don't like you. You don't like Parker. As far as these tag titles are concerned, its mutually beneficial for us to work together. No more, no less.

Steel Angel
What about tonight? You are supposed to be in my corner. Should I be waiting for you to come rush me from behind, or what?

Parker
Anyone ever tell you that you talk to much?

Parker spins the lid off the bottle and takes a drink. Steel merely looks at him, not giving Parker the satisfaction of even trying to respond to his question. Parker seems mildly impressed at Steel's restraint, and caves in a little.

Parker
Parker doesn't attack anyone unless Parker gets paid. Right now, Parker is getting paid to watch your back. Come time for Homecoming, Parker is getting paid to win them tag titles back. If that puts us on the same team, then so be it.

Steel Angel
I don't know why I expected anything more than that from you. You have always been self serving.

Parker
Yup, and that is why Parker is a Grand Slam Champion. The fastest Grand Slam Champion. Parker doesn't weigh himself down with things like friendships or sportsmanship. It's all about that win.

Steel Angel
You can try to sell yourself that lie, but we all got a peek at the real Parker last week.

Parker turns away from Steel and the refreshment table, starting to walk back the way that he came.

Parker
Chalk it up to a sleight of hand.

Steel Angel smiles as Parker goes.

Steel Angel
He always has to have the last word.

The feed cuts away to the ring as Steel Angel walks out of frame in the opposite direction from Parker. All four competitors are already in their respective corners, Ethan smirks while Aries warms up on his end while Jacob cracks his knuckles as Blyss looks on.

Johnny - Tonight we have two unlikely teams going head to head in this unusual tag match.

Matt - That's like the understatement of the decade.

Heather Thompson - The following tag match is set for one fall introducing team one at a combine weight of 355 pounds the team of Jacob Figgins and Blyss Lockhart!

Crowd is split between the two as Blyss takes a moment to wave to the crowd while Figgins keeps his gaze on his foe.

Heather Thompson - And the second team at a combine weight of 463 pounds the team of Aries Armadaist and Ethan Cage!

Boos echo all around as Aries keeps his attention on Figgins while Ethan simply shrugs.

Johnny - Like I said this pairing makes Steel and Parker look like best buds.

Matt - Well I don't know how well these two teams will work together but I'd say we let em loose and see what happends.

Ref checks on both teams and singals for the bell and we're off.

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
Blyss Lockhart & Jacob Figgins [vs]Ethan Cage & Aries Armadaist

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Figgins and Areis explode into the center of the ring, Aries ducks a punch and throws a few closed fists into the forehead of of Figgins who tries to fight back but Aries ducks once more uses one of his knuckes to poke Figgins in the eye. Aries then reaches out to smack Blyss which of course causes her to enter the ring and the ref stops her, while the ref is busy with her Aries turns to Figgins and kicks him hard in the groin doubling him over and hooking the head as he drives him down with the ddt! Aries rolls off of Figgs and drags him over to his corner and tags in Ethan. Ref turns after forcing Blyss back to her corner in time to see the tag and Ethan leaps over the top rope and lands on Figg's neck with the slingshot legdrop. Ethan pulls Figgins to his feet and smacks him around with a few slaps and follows up with a massive roundhouse kick that hits home and sends Figgs flooping face first to the mat.

Johnny - Figgs taking a beating in the early stages of this match.

Matt - Well Aries and Ethan might not like each other but they can both agree they hate their opponets even more.

Ethan rolls Figgins to his shoulders and pins him.

-1-

-2-

Figgins kicks out and Ethan pulls him back to his feet and whips him to the side ropes, Figgins rebounds right into a dropsault that knocks him back down. Ethan leaps over and springs off the second rope and lands with a moonsault! Ethan makes the cover.

-1-

-2-

Figgins again kicks out.

Johnny - Figgins showing his toughness by refusing to stay down.

Matt - Yeah but he's taking so much damage out there, he needs to tag in Blyss big time.

Ethan looks back at Aries with a frown and picks Figgins up and throws him into the corner. Figgins hits the turnbuckle and Ethan meets him with a knee, he tags in Aries as he pulls him back out and throws him over with the snapmare while Aries rebounds off the ropes on the other end and nails a dropkick to the face. Ethan returns to his side as Aries covers.

-1-

-2-

Figgins once again kicks out.

Matt - These two are showing some cemestry for a incohesive team.

Johnny - I'm sure the only reason Ethan is agreeing to this is cus he wants to get it over with as soon as possable.

Figgins is help to his feet but then comes alive and hooks the head of Aries and hits a massive jaw breaker. Aries holds his lower jaw while Ethan screams at him, Blyss is hopping in her corner as Figgins tries to find out which end is up as he finds his way to his corner and just manages to tag Blyss in!

Matt - Blyss is in!

Johnny - And the crowd is fired up!

Blyss slingshots off the top rope and takes Aries down with the head siccors Blyss bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline from Areis and comes back with a high knee to the face! She then smacks Aries in the face a few times before attempting an irish whip but Aries reverses it and send her to the corner however she leaps onto the 2nd rope and flings herself towards Aries with a crossbody.

Matt - Blyss is on fire right now!

Johnny - This little girl packs a huge punch taking down Aries like he's a small child.

Blyss hooks the leg and covers.

-1-

-2

Aries forces the shoulder up, Blyss then grabs his left arm and with a twist throws Aries to the side ropes but Ethan blind tags Aries on the rebound though Blyss didn't see it. Aries rolls under Blyss's attack as Ethan comes flying in with a calf kick to the face! Ethan points for Aries to leave the ring which he does and Ethan attempts the Divine Intervention but Blyss is able to reverse the move and boots Ethan in the gut and drives him down with a massive ddt!

Johnny - Blyss still has alot left in the tank.

Matt - She's trying to take the fight to both of these men and so far she's doing a decent job.

Blyss waits for Ethan to get to his feet before she dropkicks him in the chest, she handsprings back up as Ethan rebounds from the ropes and Ethan attacks with the clothesline but Blyss somehow ducks under and rolls Ethan into a leverage pin!

-1-

-2-

Ethan manages to get out, Blyss runs to the ropes and knocks Ethan to the ground with a leg lariat. She then climbs the nearest turnbuckle and blows a kiss to the crowd.

Johnny - Ethan can't seem to compete with Blyss's speed I mean she's hitting him from all different angles.

Matt - And now she's gonna try to finish this match!

However Aries pulls Figgs who is on his corner off the apron and slips under the apron so that the ref dosent see him. While the ref is busy checking on Figgs, Aries moves in where Blyss is and pushes her off the turnbuckle just as she was about to leap off and she crashes hard to the ground!

Matt - Aries with the save!

Johnny - It's crud but you can't deny it's effective.

Blyss rolls around in pain, Figgins gets back in his corner and reaches out for Blyss and tags himself in. Figgs charges right towards Aries but dosent see Ethan ready for him as he nails the hit the lights sqaure on the skull!

Matt - Hit the Lights out of nowhere!

Johnny - Perfect team work, Figgins fell for the trap!

Ethan rolls into the cover as the ref counts it.

-1-

-2-

-3-

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Heather Thompson - Here are your winners the team of Ethan Cage and Aries Armadaist!

Johnny - Well Blyss tried to lead her team to victory here tonight against overwelming odds.

Matt - But thanks to Aries's quick thinking she was denied.

Johnny - Indeed she was, still though what a match.

Ethan smirks and quickly leaves the ring while Aries celebrates outside, Blyss is still rolling in pain and Figgins is nearly out cold. The crowd jeers as Ethan turns as he is on the entrance ramp and the camera takes one last look at his smirking face before we take a break.

The screen returns with a shot of a bar somewhere in Ireland. Flex Johnson walks in, and heads straight to the bar. He looks tired from his match earlier in the night.

Storming Raven is shown on stage playing a song with his band. As the song wraps up, he sees Flex Johnson sitting at the bar. He walks over and sits down across from Flex.

Storming Raven
So they gave YOU a title shot. Here I am undefeated in singles competition for seven straight matches, and they give YOU a title shot. The hell is wrong with management?

Flex took a long sip of his drink before he answered.

Flex Johnson
Hmm, well let’s take a look at the situation shall we? I came into this company and defeated three other men. I’ve put asses in seats-the fans actually CARE about what I do. And let’s not forget the fact that I EARNED this shot by defeating five other wrestlers two weeks ago.

Flex took another sip.

Flex Johnson
You know, bitching isn’t a likeable quality sir. You should try and fix it.

A small smile plays at the corner of Storming Raven’s mouth. He takes twists the cap off of the Jameson and takes a long drink, no chaser.

Storming Raven
Oh comparing notes are we? Let’s see since I’ve been back, I’ve taken out two wastes of roster space, and two so called legends. You talk of earning things. Oh I’ve earned plenty, many times over. Though you see before my father left this world he told me something. He said “son if you’re ever going to get ahead in this world, you have to grab something and run with it. No one is going to hand you a damn thing. Especially not the white man. He’s been kicking us down for a very long time now, and he will continue to do so until someone does something about.” So he made me promise him on his deathbed to bring honor back to our people. That’s what I intend to do, by any means necessary. Every ounce of sweat and blood I’ve shed, waking up every day and continuing to keep moving. It’s all for this.

He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand.

Storming Raven
When my father died, I was twelve years old. My mother said I looked too much like him for her to bare. She kicked me out of the house. I learned every hard lesson to make me who I am starting at the age of twelve on the streets of Laredo.

Flex looked at Storming Raven with a blank look while Storming Raven gave his soliloquy.

Flex Johnson
You love hearing yourself don’t you? By the way sir, if you have to keep reminding people about your seven-win streak then that means one of two things: A, no one knows about this streak. And B, no one gives fuck.

Flex held up his arm.

Flex Johnson
Oh, in case you haven’t notice, I’m not the ‘white man’ ya dig.

Storming Raven chuckles.

Storming Raven
Yes, I’m buzzed, not blind. You see that’s where we have something in common, but that’s about it.

Storming Raven takes another drink from the bottle of Jameson.

Storming Raven
The difference is I do what I have to do. I follow my own rules. People are going to notice me. It’s a matter of time.

Flex Johnson
If it’s only a matter of time, then sit down and shut up.

At this time Storming Raven can’t help but smile.

Storming Raven
I see you’re going to have to learn the same lesson I taught Axle and Ace. That lesson is love me or hate me......

Storming Raven takes another drink of Jameson, but he does swallow, he blows it in Flex’s face and jumps to his feet and over the table clothes lining Flex out of his chair.

Storming Raven
You WILL respect me!

Flex hops back to his feet. He picks up a metal container of napkins and smashes it over Storming Raven’s head.

Flex Johnson
Respect that!

Storming Raven smiles and runs his fingers over his head where the stitches from his battle with Ace broke open.

Storming Raven
A little fight in you. I like that. Have a drink on me.

He grabs Flex in a headlock and smashes the bottle of Jameson over his head.

Storming Raven
Had enough or are you thirsty for more?

Flex holds up his middle finger. He then gives Storming Raven three stiff headbutts. Storming Raven staggers back before chuckling and grabbing Flex’s finger and kneeing him right in the nuts and DDTing him on the floor. Flex gingerly picked himself off of the ground. He held on to a bar stool for support.Swiftly, he smashed the stool into Storming’s rib-cage.

Storming Raven gasps for air and doubles over. Catching his breath, he grabs Flex by the hair and throws him over the bar, then jumps over the bar and throws him into the shelf of alcohol. Flex hits the floor. A few seconds later ten police officers stormed the bar. Five of them grabbed Storming Raven; the other five surrounded Flex. The officers kept the separated as they ushered them both out of the bar.

The screen slowly fades out back to the ring. Heather Thompson stands alone in the ring, with a microphone in hand.

Heather Thompson - This match is scheduled for one fall and is a non-title competition! Introducing first from San Diego California…weighing in at 220lbs…STEEL ANGEL!

The lights fade out as the sound of a bell tower rings throughout the arena, a few more moments fly by before...

"Unleash the warrior within!"

Pyro sets off from both sides on the entrance ramp in the form of a pair of angel wings with the words "Heaven's Gladiator" appering in crystal blue letters on the titantron. A single platform can be seen being lowered at the ramp revealing a lone figure standing at the center. He is wearing a white and blue warrior tunic with angel designs decorated on the back and a gold cross shape tapestry on the front. His long black hair flows in the air revealing his face as he stares at the crowd before him.

They fall in line, one at a time
Ready to play
(I can't see them anyway)
No time to lose, we've got to move
Steady your helm
(I am losing sight again)

Steel Angel jumps off the platform and bows before fans as they shower him in cheers. Steel Angel then walks slowly towards the ring every step with purpose, every movement loose and flowing.

Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)

After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

Steel Angel then stops at the end of the ramp where he brings his hands together with the middle and index fingers joining together pointing straight out with the other fingers curled together overlapping one another. He then moves
his hands while in this symbol up, down, left and then right in the form of a cross before bringing both middle and index fingers to his lips and kisses them. He then separates his hands as he points to the sky unleashing blue pyro from the entrance ramp. Parker Wayde emerges from the back pumping up the crowd throwing his hands in the air as they cheer.

Matt - Parker Wayde here with Steel Angel tonight.

Johnny - They’ve got the crowd going as this match sets up to be a great one.

Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am the shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all

Steel Angel and Parker then walk around the ring slapping high fives with some of the fans before climbing through the second rope and entering the ring.

There's nothing left, so save your breath
Lying in wait
(Caught inside this tidal wave)
Your cover's blown, no where to go
Holding your fate
(Loaded I will walk alone)

He smiles as looks around the ring, he then poses which causes the fans to cheer some more.

Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)

He then removes the tunic and takes it off showing his ripped features to the ladies in attendence some of whom scream in delight. He is also wearing gold karate style pants with white flame like designs on the ankles and the words "Steel Angel" writtin in black latin like writting on the sides.

After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

He then stands at the center of the ring and forms the same hand gesture he did at the end of the entrance ramp. This time as he ends the gesture by pointing to the sky that white pyro erupts from the corners. Parker rolls out of the ring standing alongside the outside to support his tag team partner Steel Angel.

Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am the shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all

Wanted it back
(Don't fight me now!)

He then tilts his head from side to side and he gets ready for his match.

Heather Thompson - And introducing his opponent weighing in at 226lbs from Windsor, Ontario Canada…he is YOUR IWF Champion…GRIFFIN HAWKINS!!!

The lights suddenly go out in the arena, plunging the crowd into total darkness. Some fans are seen holding up their cigarette lighters. A black and white video of a long haired young man appears on the Titantron.

Outside my window there´s a
Whole lot of trouble comin´
The cartoon killers and the
Rag cover clones
Stack heels kickin´ rhythm
Of social circumcision
Can´t close the closet on
Shoe box full of bones..

The high pitched screams of Sebastian Bach is heard as the pyro goes "BOOOOOOOOOM!" Monkey Business by Skid Row is heard as Griffin Hawkins stands uptop the ramp, raising the devil horns in the air amongst the screaming fans. Taylor Michaels crawls between his legs, getting in view of the camera. He helps her up with both hands. He grins at her as the two make their way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. Both of them go on opposite sides of the ring apron. Griffin holds the ring rope for Taylor to enter.

He slowly enters the ring by stepping between the ropes. He gets on each corner of the ropes, raising the Devil Horns in the air as the crowd is cheering for him, holding up signs saying "Griffin Rocks" while a few young 13 year old female fans hold up signs reading "Marry Me Griffin" Taylor smiles at him, showing her support for him. She gets behind him and takes his jacket off his back. He then gets down and takes off his aviator shades, going to the outside of the ring. He puts them on a smiling young fan, patting him on the head before going back inside. Griffin is in the corner with Taylor on the ropes behind him, rubbing his shoulders as he prepares for the match to start.

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Match
Griffin Hawkins [vs] Steel Angel w/ Parker Wayde

[Ding, Ding, Ding]

As the bell sounds both men jog and pace around the ring. Parker Wayde begins to pound on the apron as the crowd begins to clap for both competitors. Angel and Hawkins lock it up in the center.

Matt - HERE…WE…..GO!

Griffin gains the early advantage backing Steel Angel up against the turnbuckle separating by order of the referee for a moment Griffin throws his hands up recognizing the authority. When the ref backs up Griffin hits a stiff elbow shot to the jaw of Steel who begins to crumple a bit. Griffin grabs Steel’s hair holding him up whipping him across the ring into the opposite corner turnbuckle. On impact Steel’s back arches and he falls forward face first on the mat.

Johnny - Griffin Hawkins looking like a rockstar early here having no trouble with Steel Angel.

Matt - There is a reason Hawkins is our champion.

Griffin places his knee into the back of Steel on his spine. Putting pressure on his spine with his knee Griffin takes his hands and pulls back on the chin of Steel getting him in a reverse chin lock. Wrenching back on Steel Griffin tightens up. As the hold tightens Steel begins to wince in pain trying to reach his back foot onto the ropes. The referee asks Steel if he wants to give up but he shakes his head fighting every urge to quit.

Matt - That hold is locked in TIGHT!

Johnny - Steel needs to get to the ropes here.

Wiggling inch-by-inch Steel can sense the ropes close by. With one final kick he manages to drape his foot on the bottom rope. Parker claps as the fans do too.

Matt - CLOSE call for Steel Angel early in this match up.

Griffin assists Steel to his feet and fires a right hand into the face of Steel who staggers back. Steel holds his ground and doesn’t collapse firing back with a right of his own. The two men begin to exchange blows. Trading punch for punch both men are trying to see who will be the first to drop to the canvas. Steel drops to a knee holding his neck. Griffin fires off the ropes rushing towards Steel. Ducking Griffin’s clothesline attempt by doing the splits Angel shows off his athleticism. Griffin comes running back towards Steel again. Griffin is caught with monkey toss.

Matt - Excellent counter by Steel Angel.

Johnny - Even match so far.

Both men on the ground as Steel is the first to his feet. Griffin lifts himself up with the ropes. Steel quickly heads towards Griffin wanting to gain the offensive advantage. Griffin cocks back with his leg and fires towards Steel with the Shot in the Dark!

Matt - HE’S GOT HIM!

Steel quickly ducks the kick grabbing Griffins leg and reversing him into an STF!

Johnny - STF!!!

Griffin in trouble tries to reach for the ropes but is easily a good four feet away from grasping the rope. Steel arches back putting everything he has into the hold. Griffin looks like he could tap at any moment. Things look bleak for the champion who is now fingertips away from grabbing the rope. Not wanting to quit Hawkins’ fingers touch the bottom rope. The referee gets Steel to break the hold on Griffin as Parker yells in the face of Hawkins. As Parker jaws at the champion suddenly Hit The Lights blares over the PA system and the crowd boos as Ethan Cage struts out onto the ramp. A confused Steel Angel glances his way but turns his attention back to Griffin Hawkins.

Matt - What on Earth is Ethan Cage doing out here?

Johnny - Probably scouting his opponent! That’s what the greats do, they study the competition but you wouldn’t know anything about that would you? Bet the last thing you competed in was rock paper scissors.

Clubbing the back of Griffin Steel turns him around and nails him with a DDT slamming him to the mat. Hooking Hawkin’s leg the referee initiates the pin.

KICKOUT!

Griffin kicks out pretty easily at two and the referee is back to his feet. Angel kicks Griffin a few times. Ethan Cage walks down the ramp and heads to the ring. Standing on the outside he golf claps at the contest. Obviously not impressed by either competitor. Parker mean mugs Ethan. With a cocky smile Ethan leans on the apron shouting out to Steel for him to hurry and finish it. Steel lifts up Griffin Hawkins holding him high in the air before bringing him crashing down to the mat with a vicious brainbuster.

Matt - WHAT A MOVE!

Ethan Cage claps from the outside as Steel Angel goes for the cover again.

-1-

-2-

-3-

KICKOUT!

By the skin of his teeth Griffin escapes the pinfall. Parker leaps up onto the apron pissed off yelling at the ref saying that was a three count.

Matt - Parker Wayde obviously thought it was a three count and that this match should be over.

Johnny - It was close, I will say it was VERY CLOSE!

Ethan yells at Steel for him to go up top. Directing Steel Angel from the outside as Parker argues with the referee.

Matt - Steel Angel is going to go BIG here!

Johnny - Here comes the FLIGHT OF THE ANGEL!

Parker drops off the apron as Ethan continues to shout at Steel to FINISH him. Rotating his body twisting and turning Steel Angel displays incredible athleticism and high flying ability.

Matt - HANG TIME!

Steel’s body nears impact as Griffin rolls out of the way causing Steel Angel to crash onto the mat holding his back in pain. Ethan yells for Steel to get to his feet. A staggering Steel Angel is quick to get up. Almost too quick.

Matt - Steel’s in pain here with that HUGE miss.

Johnny - All that hang time has now backfired on Angel. He’s in obvious pain.

Steel holding his back trying to locate Hawkins to finish the job. Getting a handful of hair Steel goes to really END the match with the Divine Cutter.

Matt - We know what’s coming here! The DIVINE CUTTER FOLKS!

Struggling to lift up Hawkins Angel grasps his back. Hawkins quickly grabs Steel’s leg rolling him up into a schoolboy pin. Putting a ton of pressure and body weight downwards onto Steel Angel. The pin is secured tightly as the referee makes the count.

-2-

-3-

Heather Thompson - Here is your WINNER…the IWF Champion…GRIFFIN HAWKINS!!!

Matt - HE PULLED IT OFF!

Johnny - With a rollup!

Matt - Rollup or not he’s the champion for a reason!!! All the distractions tonight with Ethan and Parker out here and yet Griffin Hawkins maintained his focus and came out with the victory.

Griffin Hawkins stands up as the referee raises his hand to the sky. Steel Angel slowly gets to his feet as Ethan Cage shakes his head and walks back up the ramp to backstage. Griffin Hawkins walks over to Steel Angel and extends his hand. Steel Angel shakes his hand, as the crowd cheers. Steel Angel exits the ring and walks down the ramp with Parker Wayde, as Griffin Hawkins grabs a microphone and stands in the ring.

Griffin Hawkins
Stop the music! Stop! *the music ends* First off..I want to thank Yuko for giving me the match of a lifetime. I think we both deserve a standing ovation..

The crowd cheers as a worn out Hawkins leans against the ropes.

Griffin Hawkins
Now..I have something to say about the last few weeks. It seems every time someone has a microphone to their mouth, they say how they feel. Well I'm gonna tell you all exactly how I feel. The only difference is, I'm not gonna lie to you. Last week David Caid said I was a fluke..I kissed the bosses ass to get the title..yadda yadda yadda...well, coming from a guy who changes his gimmick more times than he changes his underwear..a guy who blames everyone else for his failures when he doesn't have it in him to realize he is the heart of the problem..a guy who hasn't accomplished jack shit in UECW yet walks around like he's the King of France..I really wouldn't trust his word. I always seem to notice the people who constantly call me a "fluke" are the same ones who said that I would never make it to this point in my career. It's those people who would rather piss and moan about the current Champion or how the Main Event is. So here's a little advice to them..stop whining, grow a pair, and actually go out and do something to prove you should be in the main event, or at least man up and say it to my face..instead of on twitter like some angry 5th grader. Otherwise you don't matter to me..ever.

He grabs himself the Insurgency belt and continues.

Griffin Hawkins
Now in the last few weeks, I have been the victim of many two on one attacks. Both by Molly Reid and Ethan Cage. Now, I'm not gonna whine and moan and complain about it. But for the last while..it seems that management hasn't done a damn thing about it. They allowed Ethan and Molly to run roughshod over me. They even allowed Ethan to be the Guest Referee for my match with Molly last week to throw me off my game. And what has management done about it? Absolutely nothing. But this all can be traced back not to Jessica Matthews or Corey Casey. This all goes back to Brandon Macdonald.

The crowd actually cheers the mere mention of his name.

Griffin Hawkins
Yeah I was expecting him to be cheered, and he has every right to be for all his accomplishments and contributions to IWF itself. But the fact of the matter is..as a hall of famer, he has some stroke. And behind the scenes he's been working his damndest to make this show the most watched show every Monday night. But at the same time...he doesn't respect anyone but himself. You see..he sat by and allowed Molly and Ethan to advance on me time and time again and I have honestly had it up to here with it. Everyone knows that Ethan needs Molly in her corner because he can't beat me all by himself. And you didn't hear it from me..but a few nights ago at a Nightclub at Australia...I noticed Brandon and Molly at the same table and they looked quite cozy if you ask me...kinda makes you think doesn't it?...

The crowd oooh's at this as Griffin just smirks at his accusation.

Griffin Hawkins
Yeah..that's what I was thinking as well..but this isn't about whoever Brandon is probably fucking..this is about him allowing Molly and Ethan to do whatever they please. But you know what? I'm not gonna cry over spilled milk. If management doesn't have the balls to do something about Ethan and Molly...then I will. Unfortunately Molly is at home..searching for her vibrator..according to her twitter..ugh, just threw up in my mouth a little...that leaves Ethan all alone. So Ethan, I know you're back there listening, you miserable jackass. I don't want to wait until next week when I kick the living shit out of you..one way or another, we're gonna meet tonight..and one of us is gonna get hurt. Payback's a bitch..

He drops his microphone and heads to the back.

Rick - Wow..I'm at loss for words. Hawkins not only warned Ethan..but has some not so flattering words about the Insurgency brass..

Johnny - Is he nuts?! Does he want to get fired?! This is not going to do him any favors within the front office.

Rick - Nonetheless..Hawkins has made a promise that if management won't do anything about Ethan, he's going to take the law into his own hands..but what is he going to do?

The show slowly fades to commercial with the empty ring

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Tumblr_mld9k8o2c51qasthro1_500

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The show comes back from commercial to show the jam packed Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Ireland. The fans all are screaming and chanting loudly and you can feel the energy coursing through the crowd as the chants and scream reach a deafening pitch

Johnny- Welcome back folks!

Matt- I CAN’T HEAR SHIT! ARE WE BACK?!

Johnny- YES! WE’RE BACK!

Matt- GOOD! FUCK COMMERCIALS!

Johnny- TO OUR CORPORATE SPONSORS, PLEASE DISREGARD MATT’S OBSENTITIES AND KEEP INVESTING IN IWF!!!

The camera pans over to show the massive Hell in a Cell structure which surrounds the ring, encompassing the ringside area in a shell of cold steel. The camera zooms in on an array of weapons which are attached to the inside of the chain links of the Hell in a Cell structure. After a few moments, the camera pans over to show Heather Thompson, who is standing at the time keeper’s position, a microphone clutched in her grasp

Heather Thompson- Ladies and gentlemen, the following Extreme Hell in a Cell Match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the IWF High Impact Championship!

If it were even possible, the sounds of the fans chanting and cheering and boo’ing seems to increase ten fold.

Johnny- I’m getting nervous

Matt- Don’t worry, Johnny! I’ve ordered us extra protection for this match!

AS if on cue, a number of stage hands come running out from the back with a large, Plexiglass and steel cube. The stage hands drag the plexiglass and steel box down to the ringside area and, quickly and efficiently, set the box up around Johnny Electric and Matt Biggars. The box clearly weighs a massive amount and has several air holes scattered throughout so the announcers don’t run out of oxygen

Johnny- What the hell is this?

Matt- The apex of announcer protection! This is the Big Electric Box!

Johnny- You came up with the name didn’t you?

Matt- ADUR! It’s a combination of Johnny ELECTRIC and Matt BIGgars! This baby is completely and totally bullet proof and can withstand the force of this nasty looking hornets nest grenades that the snipers in the rafters are holding!

Johnny- As stupid as the name is….i’m not gonna lie…this is actually one of your better ideas…

Heather Thompson’s voice still manages to override the chanting fans though as she once again brings the microphone up to her lips

Heather Thompson- Introducing first…

The opening double kick drums and guitar riffs of “Honest Eyes” by Black Tide blast through the arena speakers and the fans all get on their feet in anticipation. As the intensity increases at the second intro riff, the fans cheer loudly as Gordon Fury walks through the entrance curtain, High Impact title draped over his left shoulder. He flicks his hood back and riles up the fans from the stage, getting an even louder response.

"HATE!"

On that word Gordon fist pumps out in front of him, queuing a blast of pyro from behind him.

"I'm filled with hate,
And you will regret!
How did I get so lost?"

"FIGHT!
I’ll win this fight,
Pull Myself out!
Save myself at all cost!"

Gordon pulls the title off his shoulder with his right hand and holds it as he slaps hands with the fans on his way down the ramp, constantly on the move, going to both sides of the ramp.

Heather Thompson - On his way to ring…From Mackay, Australia…Weighing in at 210 pounds…He is the reigning and defending IWF High Impact Champion... Gordon Fuuuuurrrrrryyy!

Johnny- These fans seemingly split right down the middle for this match! Half of this crowd seems to be cheering for Gordon while the other half seems to either be boo’ing or indifferent

Matt- You can bet your goddamned bottom dollar that this place is going to fucking go absolutely positively batshit INSANE when Tim Patrick gets out here, I can promise you that!

Johnny- Half of this crowd sees the High Impact Champ as their saving grace, the man who can defeat the controversial Tim Patrick! And they are making their voices well heard here tonight!

"Give me my,
My life back!
I will take what’s gone..."

Gordon gets to the Hell in a Cell Structure and takes a moment to survey the massive cell before walking through the door and entering the cell. He then climbs the ring steps, before stepping onto the apron, turning so that he is facing away from the ring.

"How?
How'd we come this far?
Why did we survive?
I'd rather live my life through Honest Eyes!"

Gordon turns and leaps in one motion, landing straight on the second turnbuckle. He then hoists the High Impact title high in the air, causing an uproar of cheers mixed with a smattering of boo’s.

"Where did we go wrong?
What did we not see?
I'd rather live my life through Honest Eyes!"

Gordon then leaps off the turnbuckle and goes across the ring to the opposite corner, jumping up to the second turnbuckle, and riling up the fans again by holding the title up in the air. He jumps down from the turnbuckle and hands the High Impact Championship to the ref before taking off his hoodie and throwing it into the crowd. He then turns and waits for his opponent as the song fades out.

Heather Thompson- And his opponent…

“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”

Johnny- Woah…

Matt- And to think Tim Patrick hasn’t even made his way out here yet!

The camera turns and looks up the entrance ramp as dozens of Matthews Entertainment Security Force members come streaming out of the back. The members of ME Security line the entrance ramp and the ring side area, each member carrying a riot shield and garbed in full out riot control gear. Each ME Security Force member carries with them mace, a Taser, and several dozen zip ties. The camera pans up to show several dozen snipers perched in the rafters. Some of the snipers are shown looking down the barrel of massive bazooka loaded up with pepper spray while others are armed with hornet’s nets grenades and sniper rifles with rubber bullets.

Johnny- You’ll notice, folks, that the security force members you are seeing aren’t just normal IWF Security

Matt- Nope! Corey Casey made a few phone calls and convinced Matthews Enterprises’ CEO Chuck Matthews to lend IWF Matthews Entertainment’s Security Force!

Johnny- That’s right, Matt. ME Security is considered to be the single greatest and most effective security force in the world! A majority of these men were actually trained by Corey Casey himself during CC’s tenure as Chief of ME Security a little more than a year and a half ago!

The video begins to play on screen, showing IRA slogans and symbols, scenes from the 1916 Easter Uprising and maps of a United Ireland. The roof seems to blow off of the Odyssey Arena as the chanting and screaming of the audience members shakes the very foundation of the building, causing the entire arena to literally vibrate

“FREE THE NORTH!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FREE THE NORTH!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FREE THE NORTH!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”

Several fist fights break out in the stands as the music and video continue to roll on the titantron. A few members of ME Security leap the barricade and begin to arrest those who are fighting, slamming them to the ground before forcing zip ties around their wrists while other members of ME Security stand vigil over their comrade making the arrest. Amidst all the chaos, Tim Patrick slowly makes his way out from the backstage area and stands, unmoving, at the top of the entrance ramp, a hood pulled up over his head and a bullet proof vest on his chest with Kevlar armor plates strapped onto his pants. A battalion of ME Security members quickly close ranks around Tim Patrick, holding their riot shields high and enclosing Tim Patrick with a phalanx of steel and armor

Heather Thompson- From South Philadelphia…

“DIE TIMMY DIE!”
“IRA!”
“DIE TIMMY DIE!”
“IRA!”
“DIE TIMMY DIE!”
“IRA!”
“DIE TIMMY DIE!”
“IRA!”

Heather Thompson sounds flustered as she tries to announce Tim Patrick again

Heather Thompson- From South…

“FREE THE NORTH!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FREE THE NORTH!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“FREE THE NORTH!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”

Heather Thompson looks terrified as she sets the microphone down, grabs a chair and quickly walks over to the Big Electric Box. Heather Thompson drags the chair into the Big Electric Box and closes the door behind her

Johnny- Smart move, darlin’

Matt- The more the merrier in the Big Electric Box!

Tim Patrick and the ME Security Force make their way slowly down the entrance ramp as the video continues to roll on the titan tron, further whipping the already fevered crowd into even more of a frenzy. As soon as Tim Patrick and the Me Security Force members make their way halfway down the entrance ramp, a crazed fan hops up on the security barricade and attempts to leap at Tim Patrick, wielding a beer bottle

Crazed Fan
DIE IRA SCUM!

The ME Security Force quickly raise their riot shields up, forming a plexiglass ceiling overhead. The crazed fan this the riot shields and rolls off, slamming hard to the floor. More members of ME Security swarm the crazed fan and stomp on him a few times, forcing the fan to release the beer bottle, before arresting the crazed fan and dragging him backstage

Johnny- Woah…

Matt- That’s a first…not even Corey Casey has had a fan try to kill him during his entrance before!

The camera pans around to show flags and banners with Pro IRA and Anti-IRA slogans painted on them in a variety of colors. The camera zooms in on one banner specifically

“WIN OR LOSE, WE RIOT!”

Johnny- I’ve got a bad feeling about this, Matt

Matt- Don’t worry! We’re in the Big Electric Box! We are safe from everything!

Tim Patrick and the ME Security Force members finish making their way down to the ring. The ME Security Force members allow Tim Patrick a bit of room as he opens the Hell in a Cell cage door and enters the cell. An ME Security Force member waits for Tim Patrick to enter the cell before reaching into a large black bag he was carrying. The ME Security Force member removes a massive length of chain and hands one end to another member of Me Security. The two men then wrap the entire length of the door leading into the Hell in a Cell structure in the length of chain before the first ME Security Force member pulls out several pad locks and locks the chain to the door

Johnny- IWF and ME Security are taking no chances here tonight in terms of protecting the fans and the performers

Matt- I’d certainly say so! This might be the first ever Hell in a Cell match ever seen where the action doesn’t manage to somehow make its way up onto the roof of the cell!

Johnny- Knock on wood, Matt…

Matt- Are you implying I’m hard simply because Heather is in here?!

Heather Thompson blushes and hides behind her hair

Johnny- Facepalm

Tim Patrick ducks into the ring and flings off his hood, revealing that his face is heavily painted with the colors of the Irish flag, eliciting another round of deafening cheers and hate filled boo’s from the fans in attendance. Tim Patrick unstraps the Kevlar plated pants and removes the bullet proof vest, revealing a message scrawled in green, white, and orange paint on his chest

Tiocfaidh ár

[translation: “Our Day will Come”]

Tim Patrick looks at the camera and pounds his chest, just above his heart, and screams at the camera

Tim Patrick
FREE IRELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the fans begin throwing trash and bottles at the steel cage while others begin to beat down on those who are throwing the garbage. ME Security Force members tighten up their ranks and raise their riot shields a little higher as the fans continue to chant and scream. Meanwhile, in the ring, the referee holds the IWF High Impact Championship up high over his head before sliding the title from the ring and calling for the bell

Johnny- Here we go

Matt- This is going to be fine, I promise!

Johnny- Let’s hope this Big Electric Box of yours holds…

Battlegrounds 73 World Tour: Luck of the Irish Mainevent
IWF High Impact Championship
Extreme Hell in a Cell Match
Gordon Fury [vs] Tim Patrick

[Ding, Ding, Ding!]

“OLAY! OLAY, OLAY, OLAY!”
“OLAY, OLAY!”
“OLAY! OLAY, OLAY, OLAY!”
“OLAY, OLAY
“OLAY! OLAY OLAY OLAY!”
“OLAY, OLAY!”

Johnny- These fans are certainly vocal

Matt- That legitimately might be the single biggest understatement of the entire century, Johnny

Johnny- True…true…

Tim Patrick and Gordon Fury both take a step back for a moment and peer outside the Hell in a Cell structure at the thousands of screaming and chanting fans.

Johnny- Both men seem in awe of what is transpiring here tonight

Matt- This is a brand new level of insanity, even for IWF!

Gordon Fury and Tim Patrick take a few more seconds to appreciate the level of activity in the Odyssey Arena before turning their gazes back toward each other. The two men slowly make their way to the center of the ring and lock up, eliciting another explosion of chants and cheers and a shower of boo’s from the loyalist side of the arena

Johnny- Thank God we managed to split up most of this capacity crowd into two sections

Matt- We might’ve been able to split up a MAJORITY of the crowd…but you’d better believe that some Nationalists managed to find their way over to the loyalist side! We’ve already seen more than 10 arrests and this match is just getting started!

Tim Patrick and Gordon Fury match each other for a bit in a test of strength before Tim Patrick manages to use his weight to over power Gordon Fury, forcing Gordon Fury to stumble backwards until Gordon Fury’s back touches the corner turnbuckle. The ref quickly steps in between the two men and forces them apart. Tim Patrick holds his hands up and takes a few steps back, allowing there to be a clean break

Johnny- Gordon Fury is going to have to use his speed and Maui Thai background if he wants to walk out of this arena with the High Impact title still around his waist

Matt- He also might have to use that same skill set to make it to the backstage area after this match!

Gordon Fury gets to his feet and smirks as he stares at Tim Patrick from the corner turnbuckle. Tim Patrick motions for Gordon Fury to bring it on. Gordon Fury nods his head as he gets to his feet and stretches out a bit, his smirk widening as he works his way back towards Tim Patrick.

Johnny- Gordon Fury looks confident

Matt- And why shouldn’t he be? Gordon Fury has been one of the most unstoppable High Impact Champs in IWF history! The guy has vanquished every single challenger set before him with ease!

Johnny- That might be…but fighting Tim Patrick…in this arena…on this night…it’s a whole different ball game

Once again, Tim Patrick and Gordon Fury meet in the center of the ring. This time though, instead of trying to match Tim Patrick’s strength, Gordon Fury quickly lashes out and delivers two swift leg kicks to the right shin and right quad of Tim Patrick, forcing Tim Patrick to hop backwards a few steps and grab his right leg. Gordon Fury quickly follows up his leg kicks with a massive knife edge chop, eliciting a cheer from the crowd

“WWWOOOOO!”

Gordon Fury cocks back and delivers a second knife edge chop to the chest of Tim Patrick, eliciting a second cheer

“WWWWOOOOOO!!!”

Johnny- Nice to know that everywhere we go, that will always happen

Matt- There are some things that are universal for wrestling fans!

Gordon Fury reaches out and grabs Tim Patrick. Gordon Fury then shoots Tim Patrick off, Irish whipping Tim Patrick across the ring. Tim Patrick hits the ropes on the far side of the ring and comes running back towards Gordon Fury. However, instead of waiting for Tim Patrick to come running at him, as soon as Tim Patrick hits the ring ropes, Gordon Fury takes off running directly at Tim Patrick. As soon as he gets close enough, Gordon Fury leaps into the air and drills Tim Patrick in the face with a flying spinning heel kick that sends Tim Patrick crashing down to the canvas

Johnny- Gordon Fury showing his aerial skills there

Matt- Gordon Fury is a world renown Muai Thai expert and I think we’re going to see that prominently on display here tonight

Gordon Fury leans down and drags Tim Patrick up to his feet. Gordon Fury delivers another series of two leg kicks before reaching back with both hands and lashing out at Tim Patrick, delivering a Mongolian Chop to the chest and head of Tim Patrick, forcing Tim Patrick to stumble backwards into the corner turnbuckle. Gordon Fury takes a few steps back, measuring Tim Patrick, before rushing straight towards Tim Patrick, who is slumped in the corner turnbuckle. As soon as he gets close enough, Gordon Fury leaps into the air and delivers a rising knee lift that lands squarely on the jaw of Tim Patrick. Gordon Fury looks out at the crowd and motions for them to make some noise, which the loyalist side promptly provides, showering Gordon Fury with cheers and support.

Johnny- Gordon Fury seems to be feeding off of the support from the loyalist supporters

Matt- You do realize that Australia was once a British territory!

Johnny- FOR PRISONERS!

Matt- British is British!

Gordon Fury hooks Tim Patrick’s head, turns, and runs out of the corner turnbuckle. Gordon Fury leaps into the air and bulldogs Tim Patrick face first right into the canvas. The loyalist side of the arena continues to shower Gordon Fury with applause while the nationalist side of the arena showers Gordon Fury with boo’s and hatred. Gordon Fury quickly pulls himself over and hooks Tim Patrick’s leg as the ref drops down and counts

-1-

Tim Patrick promptly kicks out

Johnny- Tim Patrick kicks out at one

Matt- I knew a match of this magnitude couldn’t end after a small little series of moves like that! This is going to get WWAAAAYYYYYY crazier and violent before it ends!

Gordon Fury gets to his feet and looks down at Tim Patrick. Gordon Fury shrugs his shoulders, leans down, and drags Tim Patrick up to his feet. Gordon Fury kicks Tim Patrick in the gut, doubling Tim Patrick over. Gordon Fury then grabs Tim Patrick and Irish whips Tim Patrick to the ring ropes again. Tim Patrick storms across the ring but, as soon as he reaches the ropes, Tim Patrick loops his arms around the top rope, stopping himself from bouncing off of the ropes. Gordon Fury frowns slightly as he notices Tim Patrick has stopped his momentum. Gordon Fury then runs full tilt at Tim Patrick. As soon as he gets close enough, Gordon Fury leaps into the air, looking to connect another spinning heel kick. However, Tim Patrick manages to duck down and pull the top rope down as well, causing Gordon Fury to go sailing over the top rope, hit the wall of the Hell in a Cell structure, and then go crashing down to the ring side mats

Johnny- Tim Patrick with the wherewithal to pull the top rope down!

Matt- And Gordon Fury gets sent for a short flight with a sudden, painful landing!

Tim Patrick drops all the way down to the canvas and rolls underneath the bottom rope. Tim Patrick lands on his feet outside of the ring and walks over to where Gordon Fury is slowly trying to pull himself up. Tim Patrick reaches down and drags Gordon Fury the rest of the way up to his feet. Tim Patrick then lashes out, connecting a series of three punches on Gordon Fury. Tim Patrick then boots Gordon Fury in the gut, doubling Gordon Fury over. Tim Patrick then grabs the back of Gordon Fury’s head with one hand and the back of Gordon Fury’s trunks with the other and runs Gordon Fury the length of the ring before throwing Gordon Fury skull first into the steel ringside steps, causing Gordon Fury to bowl the steel ringside steps over and land roughly on top of one half of the steps

Johnny- Ooohhhhh

Matt- That couldn’t have felt pleasant…

Tim Patrick leans down and drags Gordon Fury up to his feet. Tim Patrick reaches out and hoists Gordon Fury up in the military press position, holding Gordon Fury overhead. Tim Patrick then turns slightly and tosses Gordon Fury up into the air. Gordon Fury goes up….and then comes crashing down face first as his face bashes into the ring apron, causing Gordon Fury’s head to snap back. As soon as Gordon Fury’s face hits the ring apron, Tim Patrick suddenly lunges forward, spearing Gordon Fury down to the ring side mats

“FUCK ‘EM UP TIM, FUCK ‘EM UP!”
*CLAP CLAP*
“FUCK ‘EM UP TIM, FUCK ‘EM UP!”
*CLAP CLAP*
“FUCK ‘EM UP TIM, FUCK ‘EM UP!”
*CLAP CLAP*

Johnny- I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this arena is a goddamned powder keg, just waiting for that single spark to ignite the entire place

Matt- You can feel the tensions rising with every single move these two men hit on each other in the ring

While Gordon Fury rolls about in pain, Tim Patrick gets to his feet and rips a kendo stick wrapped in barbed wire down from the wall of the Hell in a Cell Structure. Tim Patrick holds the weapon aloft, eliciting cheers and love from the nationalist side of the arena, and pure, unadulterated hatred from the loyalist fans. Tim Patrick cocks the weapon back and waits for Gordon Fury to get to his feet. After a few moments, Gordon Fury gets to his feet, still holding his mouth. Blood seeps through the cracks in his fingers as he turns around…just in time to see Tim Patrick swing the kendo stick wrapped in barbed wire directly at his head.

Gordon Fury manages to duck underneath Tim Patrick’s wild swing, causing Tim Patrick to stumble past Gordon Fury. Tim Patrick quickly turns around, and is met by a stiff body kick that connects with the right side of Tim Patrick’s stomach and ribs. Gordon Fury lands another kick to the same spot, causing Tim Patrick’s clutch on the weapon to loosen. Gordon Fury quickly reaches out, rips the kendo stick wrapped in barbed wire from Tim Patrick’s grasp, cocks the weapon back, and drills Tim Patrick right in the head with the kendo stick wrapped in barbed wire

Johnny- Turn about is fair play!

Matt- And the High Impact Champ is back in control!

Gordon Fury drills Tim Patrick in the back of the head a second time with the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick before throwing the weapon to the ground in front of him. Gordon Fury then grabs Tim Patrick and lifts Tim Patrick up in the vertical suplex position for a moment. Gordon Fury then drops Tim Patrick forward, causing Tim Patrick’s chest to be driven into the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick

Johnny- Gordon Fury drops Tim Patrick right into the barbed wire!

Matt- Chest first! Good God that’s going to hurt like a bitch coming out!

Gordon Fury gets to his feet and smirks as he looks out at the fans, places a hand over his heart, and sings loudly

Gordon Fury
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

The fans erupt. Cheers and applause and continued singing greet Gordon Fury from the loyalist side while chants of a much more hateful nature ring out from the nationalist side

“AUSSIE DOUCHEBAG!”
*CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP*
“AUSSIE DOUCHEBAG!”
*CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP*

Johnny- Gordon Fury seems to love trolling this capacity crowd

Matt- He needs to be careful though….this isn’t the place nor the crowd to be trolling…not tonight and not with the implications this match carries with it…

Gordon Fury turns and sees the Kevlar armor plated pants that Tim Patrick wore to the ring lying in the corner of the cell. A devilish smile appears on Gordon Fury’s face as he walks over to a ladder, which is strapped to the side of the Hell in a Cell structure. Gordon Fury reaches up and tears the ladder down from the cell wall. Gordon Fury then turns and slides the ladder into the ring. Gordon Fury then walks over a few feet and grabs a table from its spot on the cell wall. Gordon Fury rips the table down and then slides that into the ring as well. Lastly, Gordon Fury walks over and grabs Tim Patrick’s Kevlar armor plated pants and throws those into the ring as well before turning his attention back to Tim Patrick

Johnny- What is Gordon Fury thinking here?

Matt- I have no idea…but this could be the major turning point in this match up!

Gordon Fury walks over to where Tim Patrick is struggling to remove the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick from his chest. Gordon Fury kicks Tim Patrick over so that Tim Patrick is lying on his back, the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick still buried in his chest. Gordon Fury leans down and winks at Tim Patrick

Gordon Fury
This should only hurt for a second

Gordon Fury then reaches down, grabs the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick, and yanks it up, ripping the barbed wire from Tim Patrick’s chest. The sound of Tim Patrick screaming in pain can be heard over the din of the crowd and a bit of blood and flesh can be seen still clinging to the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick

Johnny- Gruesome…absolutely gruesome…

Matt- Gordon Fury is proving he can match Tim Patrick’s hardcore mannerisms!

Gordon Fury tosses the barbed wire wrapped kendo stick aside, leans down, and drags Tim Patrick up to his feet. Gordon Fury then kicks Tim Patrick in the gut before rolling Tim Patrick back into the ring. Gordon Fury then leaps up on the ring apron and climbs back into the ring after Tim Patrick. Gordon Fury leans down and drags Tim Patrick up to his feet once more. Gordon Fury reaches up and wipes some of the blood from his own mouth. Gordon Fury looks down at the blood, cocks back, and delivers a slap to the face of Tim Patrick with his blood soaked hand.

Johnny- Gordon Fury looks like he is completely and totally into this fight

Matt- The sight of your own blood does crazy things to a man

As soon as Gordon Fury’s hand strikes Tim Patrick’s face, something inside Tim Patrick seems to snap. A look of rage burns brightly in Tim Patrick’s eyes as he whips his head back around and stares crazily at Gordon Fury. Tim Patrick points up to his cheek and nods his head, an insane smile slowly dancing across his features

Johnny- What the hell is Tim Patrick doing?

Matt- I think…I think he wants Gordon Fury to slap him again?!

Gordon Fury cocks back and delivers a second slap to the face of Tim Patrick. The force of this slap causes Tim Patrick to stumble backwards a few paces….and for the insane smile on his face to grow even wider. Tim Patrick once again walks up to Gordon Fury and points at his cheek, nodding his head rapidly up and down like a man possessed. Seemingly begging Gordon Fury to slap him once more

Johnny- Uh oh…

Matt- I think Tim Patrick is coming unglued…

Gordon Fury cocks back and looks to deliver a stiff right hand, but Tim Patrick ducks underneath the attempt and runs to the ring ropes. Tim Patrick hits the ropes and comes running back towards Gordon Fury. Gordon Fury turns around just in time to see Tim Patrick come sailing through the air. Tim Patrick lands chest first, his entire body weight crashing down on top of Gordon Fury as Tim Patrick drives Gordon Fury down to the canvas with a Lou Thez Press. Tim Patrick cocks his right fist back and begins to rain blows down upon the head and neck of Gordon Fury, causing the nationalist side of the arena to erupt. Tim Patrick pulls himself off of Gordon Fury, leaps to his feet, faces the nationalist side of the arena, tilts his head back and sings at the top of his lungs

Tim Patrick
LOW LIE…

The crowd sings right back to Tim Patrick

“THE FIELDS OF ATHENRY!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Johnny- Tim Patrick is thriving off of the support of the Irish Nationalists!

Matt- And this could very well be the beginning of the end for Gordon Fury!

Tim Patrick turns his attention to the instruments of destruction that Gordon Fury had placed in the ring earlier in the match. Tim Patrick quickly walks over to Gordon Fury, leans down, and drags Gordon Fury up to his feet. Tim Patrick connects with a flurry of punches to the chest and upper body of Gordon Fury, causing Gordon Fury to attempt to cover up. Tim Patrick suddenly lashes out and boots Gordon Fury in the stomach, causing Gordon Fury to double over. Tim Patrick grabs Gordon Fury around the neck with one arm and the back of Gordon Fury’s trunks with the either. Tim Patrick then leaps into the air and spikes Gordon Fury’s skull into the canvas with an Impailer DDT

Johnny- Sickening move there by Tim Patrick!

Matt- Tim Patrick might’ve just bought himself some time to organize a little chaos after drilling Gordon Fury with that move!

Tim Patrick quickly rolls across the ring and underneath the bottom rope. Tim Patrick quickly gets to his feet outside of the ring and grabs the bullet proof vest he had worn down to the ring. Tim Patrick tosses the bullet proof vest over the top rope before sliding back into the ring. Once he’s back in the ring, Tim Patrick grabs the bullet proof vest and pulls it on. Tim Patrick then turns and walks over to the ladder, his insane smile seemingly splitting his face in half now. Tim Patrick sets the ladder up and quickly scales the ladder all the way to the top. Once at the top of the ladder, Tim Patrick looks down at the motionless form of Gordon Fury below. Tim Patrick looks out at the crowd and roars

Tim Patrick
FREE IRELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tim Patrick then leaps off the top of the ladder and time seems to stand still. Tim Patrick crashes down from the top of the ladder and lands squarely on the chest and upper body of Gordon Fury, driving the air from Gordon Fury’s lungs

Johnny- BULLET PROOF BODY DROP FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER?!

Matt- HOLY FUCK!

“HOLY SHIT!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“HOLY SHIT!”
“FUCK YOU TIM!”
“HOLY SHIT!”

Tim Patrick rolls over and drapes his arm across the chest of Gordon Fury as the ref counts

At the very last second, Gordon Fury manages to get his shoulder up

Johnny- NEW CHAMP!

Matt- NOT YET! SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, Gordon Fury MANAGED TO KICK OUT!!!!

Tim Patrick sits up, a look of complete and total disbelief on his face. Tim Patrick shakes his head, feeding off of the nationalist side of the arena. Tim Patrick gets to his feet and limps over to where the table had been thrown into the ring earlier. Tim Patrick grabs the table and sets it up in the corner. Tim Patrick then walks over and casts the bullet proof vest aside and grabs the Kevlar armor plated pants. Tim Patrick pulls the Kevlar armor plated pants on and the turns his attention back to Gordon Fury, who is coughing up some blood

Johnny- Gordon Fury might have internal bleeding!

Matt- He also might’ve just got squashed like a pancake but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the heart of a champion!

Tim Patrick walks over, leans down, and drags Gordon Fury up to his feet. Tim Patrick delivers a few stiff chops to the chest of Gordon Fury before spinning around and connecting a discus clothesline on Gordon Fury that sends Gordon Fury crashing down to the canvas once more. Tim Patrick leans down, grabs Gordon Fury’s wrist, and drags Gordon Fury over to where Tim Patrick had set up the table. Tim Patrick leans down and grabs Gordon Fury, propping Gordon Fury up so Gordon Fury’s back is against the table and Gordon Fury is leaning on the table facing the middle of the ring. Tim Patrick takes a few steps back and stares coldly into the bloodied Gordon Fury

Tim Patrick
FOR THE CAUSE!!!!!

Tim Patrick rushes across the ring and, as soon as he gets close enough, Tim Patrick leaps into the air, driving his Kevlar armor plated legs and heels right into the face and upper body of Gordon Fury and driving Gordon Fury through the table with a high speed spinning heel kick

Johnny- THE DETONATOR!

Matt- THIS PLACE IS ABOUT TO LOSE ITS SHIT!

The audience explodes, cheers and chants of victory coming from the nationalist side while hatred and beer bottles begin flying from the loyalist side. The ref looks all around before his gaze finally looks down and sees Tim Patrick draped on top of Gordon Fury. The ref drops down and counts

The sound of the bell ringing is completely and totally drowned out by the chants and cheers and boo’s from the fans. From somewhere that sounds to be far, far away, the sound of Heather Thompson’s voice can be hear

Heather Thompson- Here is your winner and new IWF High Impact Champion…Tim Patrick!

As soon as the sound of Heather Thompson’s voice is heard, loyalist fans begin surging the ring. Shoving and pushing and hurling trash, beer bottles, pocket knives and shoes, the loyalist fans surge over the security barricade and begin to do battle with the members of ME Security. As soon as the loyalists surge towards the ring, a cry of “FOR IRELAND!” rips forth from the nationalist side of the arena as the nationalist fans also storm over the security barricade and begin to do battle with not only ME Security Force members but loyalist fans as well

Johnny- MATT!

Matt- DON’T WORRY! THE Big Electric Box WILL PROTECT US!

Johnny Electric, Matt Biggars, and Heather Thompson all watch, powerless, as fans storm over the security barricade and climb up and then over the roof of the Big Electric Box. Meanwhile, in all the chaos, a squad of three men in black ski masks uncoil a rope from the rafters and slide down the rope to land on top of the Hell in a Cell structure. Tim Patrick looks up and sees the men and calls up to them, but his words are lost in the sounds of the riot. Tim Patrick slides out of the ring, grabs the High Impact Championship, fastens the title around his neck and then slides back into the ring.

Tim Patrick grabs the ladder and sets it up so it is positioned right underneath where the men in the ski masks have landed on top of the cell’s roof. The three men in the ski masks suddenly produce bolt cutters and set to work cutting a hole in the top of the cell. Meanwhile, Tim Patrick climbs the ladder to the top of the cell. As soon as Tim Patrick gets close enough, the men reach down through the hole in the top of the cell and grab Tim Patrick’s outstretched wrists and pull Tim Patrick through the hole in the roof.

Tim Patrick and the three men stand on the roof of the cell for a moment, looking down at the rioting fans below. A massive smile spreads across Tim Patrick’s face as raises his arm and his title in the air. All of the nationalists in the crowd scream in support of him, and begin fighting back with the loyalists. Then, one by one in rapid succession, the four men climb the rope up to the rafters of the arena. At that exact moment, the snipers in the rafters begin dropping hornet’s nest down onto the rioting crowd below. The hornet’s nest grenades explode in a shower of silver pellets, leveling the rioting crowd. The camera zooms in on the mayhem erupting in the Odyssey Arena for a moment before fading to black

The screen suddenly cuts back on with a shot of Ethan Cage walking out towards the parking lot carrying a bag full of all his wrestling gear. He stops for a moment, before walking over to his rental car. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a masked figure appears, wielding a tire iron. The masked figure smashes the tire iron into the back of Ethan Cage’s head, knocking him to the ground. As Ethan cage tries to get back up, the masked figure smashes him again with the tire iron.

Ethan Cage rolls around on the ground in pain, clutching the back of his head. The camera shows the masked figure standing a few feet away from Ethan Cage, stomping their foot. The shot zooms in and you can see that the entire sole of the boot that the masked figure is wearing is covered with steel. The figure stomps their foot as Ethan Cage gets to his feet. The figure shuffles forward and delivers a superkick to the jaw of Ethan Cage, knocking him out. The masked figure hovers over Ethan Cage and says something in a clearly distorted voice

Masked Figure
You didn't watch your back

The masked figure quickly hops in the car and drives away as members of the IWF roster run towards the unconscious Ethan Cage. The show fades out with medical staff arriving and beginning to tend to a clearly injured Ethan Cage
