It's the day before the final Battle Grounds before From the Ashes. Press from around the world of wrestling has gathered in Cleveland for a Press Conference. Mark Collins, IWF Interviewer has been running Press Conferences with different IWF talent all day. Since Knife to Know You really isn't a "people person", Tim Patrick has been selected to talk about their match. The conference begins.
Mark Collins: Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the press. The next member of the IWF Roster coming in to speak to you all is one of our most Extreme, violent, and possibly the biggest Loose Cannon in wrestling today. Of course I'm talking about The Irish Car Bomb himself, Tim Patrick. Back in the old days of NLWF, Knife to Know You and Tim Patrick had a pretty intense rivalry. It was hoped by many that it would continue when IWF first started a few months back, but due to Knife's injury, Tim Patrick went on to other things. But now Knife is back and wants some of Tim in his own match, a Three Ring Slaughter Match. Knife said he refused to fight Tim in any other kind of match. Now, without further adu, here he is, Tim Patrick!
"Super Bon Bon" by Soul Coughing begins to play in the room and Tim Patrick walks in. In past press conferences, he's been in better moods, was more animated. Today, he seems angry.
Tim Patrick: Yeah...thanks Mark. I don't really want to be here so let's get this over with. First question.
Reporter 1: Tim, can you let us in on the history you have with Knife to Know You? You seem very eager to fight him, why is that?
Tim Patrick: I beat him and some other bum in my first match in NLWF. Then I fought him a few other times and I thought I could put him behind me and go on to other things. Then one night I was booked to fight Corey Casey and Knife took his place. He jumped me and won. Then he got involved in my match with Corey and cost me the match. I wanted to rip him apart here but the "Gentlemen" beat me to the punch. He got hurt and is just now back on the roster. Tomorrow night, I end him.
Reporter 2: Lately you haven't seemed to be concerned whether you won your match or not. That you just wanted to hurt people. I get the sense that you want to win this week.
Tim Patrick: This is true. But I also want to hurt Knife. Very badly. I want to send a message to everybody on the roster not to fuck with me. I was minutes away from beating Corey Casey in his own match, the Double Cage Horror, and Knife to Know You prevented me from doing so. I had the chance at becoming one of the stop stars in this industry. I'm going to put Knife in his place.
Reporter 3: Are you at all worried about Carmine getting involved?
Tim Patrick: I could care less about Carmine. I know he's only doing what Corey tells him to do. But there is something he should know. If he does bring Mr. Smith to From the Ashes, I will not be held responsible for my actions.
Reporter 4: Isn't it a little tasteless to be doing the Mr. Smith storyline? I mean, to have this pretend Child Molester story?
Tim Patrick: Pretend? PRETEND?! Fuck You! This is real life. This is my fucking life!
Reporter 4: Come on, it's wrestling. Isn't this in the script?
Tim Patrick gets up off his chair, pushes the table over and walks over to where this reporter is sitting. He grabs him by the throat.
Tim Patrick: I want you to listen very carefully. This isn't WWE or TNA. What Corey and Carmine are trying to do is bring back the most evil man I ever encountered. Mr. Smith destroys the minds and souls of children. He did mine. Who are you to make light of it?
Reporter 4: I mean, I mean, I mean....
Tim Patrick: Everybody, get out. Leave NOW!
Mark Collins and the reporters all get up and leave. Tim still has the one reporter by his throat.
Reporter 4: Aren't you going to let me go?
Tim Patrick: No. I have something else in mind. Get up and face the wall. NOW!
While the reporter slowly and nervously walks to the wall, Tim Patrick walks over to a bag he brought into the room. He pulls out some oil, a rag, and an empty bottle. He begins to quickly assemble a petrol bomb/molotov cocktail. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a lighter. He lights the rag and throws it at the back of the reporter's head, setting him on fire. He runs around the room screaming for a minute or two before falling to the ground. He lies there motionless as Tim Patrick grins and leaves the room. END SCENE
