FLASHBACK
July 19th, 2001
[The scene opens at Lee's house. He is wearing blue shorts and a white tee shirt. He is sitting in his room crying. Lee was crying because he had no friends and got bullied all day at school by Kyle, Mark and Joel. They were on the same school bus with him and they were poking him and such. Lee started to cry as they got the bus to chant "Lee is a baby! Lee's a baby!"]
[Lee remembers the bus ride home. They didn't punch them, but Lee punched those bullies in the face. Lee was damn well pissed off and sad that it happened. Lee went to his room that night, not wanting to go to school the next day. He went to bed that night crying. Why? He lived with a bully. His bully was his step father. He would ground him for being merely minutes late from curfew. He even banned him from watching the Tom Green show when it started His step dad was really weird with giving him punishments. For stuff he deserved it and for most of the time didn't deserve being punished.]
[Lee sat in his bed that night thinking about what happened and how much he wanted to hurt those people. Why was he being teased? He didn't deserve this abuse. It really effected his life, his grades in school, everything. He couldn't take it anymore. He really wanted to hurt people. He wanted to send them to hell, where they deserved to rot in pieces.]
[Lee never wanted to be teased. He just wanted to be at peace. He was picked on so much that he wanted to kill himself. He wanted to slit his wrists and die. He had enough of this shit. Last time he punched Mark in the face was because he teased him so much that he wanted to die. He remembers punching Marc in the face and then Marc returned the punch with a punch to the stomach.]
[It didn't help in high school that Lee had a crush on the most popular girl school. He made it known that he was wanting to get with her. Her name was Lindsay. She wasn't the best looking girl school, but she w as the most popular in school and Lee admired her for that. He never got the girl because he was over pursuing her. He was too scared to talk to her, but she knew through the grapevine that he liked her. Not only that he made it really obvious.]
[Yes, that poor Lee. He always got teased at school. It fucked up his self confidence and self esteem. He was destined to get it back though. He just didn't know how he was going to do it. What bad energy he had would be taken out on people, like family and whatever friends he had. It was a vicious cycle.]
[Lee remembers the good old days. Watching wrestling on Saturday mornings and again on Monday nights. He loved all of it. He loved professional wrestling more than some of his family members. He enjoyed it so much, when they came to town, he'd do anything to get tickets to the next show. He was even lucky to sit on the floor where he got to slap hands with some of the greats including Scott Steiner and Bret Hart.]
[Wrestling was his escape. It was his everything. He needed it as much as he loved it. He wanted to be a pro wrestling superstar. He wanted to be one so badly. It was what he lived for. If anyone made fun of him for watching it saying "they're all gay" or whatever else people liked to say about it, then he'd get so upset. He didn't like people making fun of whatever he liked. He took it really bad when people would do that. He remembers his training like it was yesterday.]
FLASHBACK
September 25th, 2011
[The scene opens in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is the capital of Canada. We see Lee getting off the bus, or as he likes to call it the loser cruiser, and begins to walk down the road. He has a school bag on his back as he walks slowly to the gym where they had a wrestling ring. He took a left down the road and there it was, a small building. It said CPW on the side with gold lettering under the bottom with Canadian Professional Wrestling under it. He opened the front door and that's when his life changed.]
[After walking through the door, he saw the wrestling ring where the wrestlers, well some of them, were in. Lee walked in and immediately said "Hello" to the trainer named the Crusher. He said that he was here to learn how to wrestle. Crusher said "Well, you've come to the right spot." He told him to take a seat and he'd be right with him. They shook hands and Lee grabbed a chair to sit down on.]
[He watched the wrestlers have a match. Crusher, took a break between teaching them and talking to Lee. Lee was so damn scared. Crusher starting talking.]
Crusher: First thing's first. Are you eighteen?
Lee: I'm twenty six.
Crusher: Damn you look young for your age.
Lee: Thanks.
Crusher: Okay, you have to fill out this form.
Lee: What's this for?
Crusher: Emergency numbers. Sign at the bottom, saying you won't sue if you get hurt. Then I need five hundred dollar deposit.
Lee: Okay cool.
Crusher: You can stay and watch, but you can't get in the ring until next training session.
Lee: Sounds good, thanks.
[Lee watched for a little bit but soon left because he didn't want to miss his bus. He saw all the wrestlers work out. They were bouncing off the ropes, taking tackles and leap frogs. They were doing practice matches against each other while one of the guys learned how to be a referee. He loved every minute of it. Lee knew that his dream would come true. He knew it can happen to him too because he was young at heart. He couldn't wait to get in on that. Well in the coming months he trained with Crusher and the others to become a wrestling superstar. He spent a couple of weeks on the independents before ending up in the Insurgency Wrestling Federation. It was there he made his debut and lost to TK Jones, a virtual nobody on the wrestling scene. Now, after his return not too long ago, he is wrestling Rosalie Knight in a tournament match.]
[On the bus ride home, he thought of what his ring name would be. He wanted something close to his real name. So he thought about it. Lee "The Killer Bee"? No that was old school of a name. He would have to ask Brian Blair for permission. So he started to think of other names. He came up with Libra. Libra, the scales sign. All about balance. He was naturally a Libra so it fit perfectly. He wasn't at the point that he was a wrestler but yeah, when asked he would already have his name picked out. He also needed theme music. That was something that could take a while. He really liked George Thorogood and The Destroyers. So he listened to a few songs on his ipod and came up with "Gear Jammer" as his theme music. He was excited to use that music as his entrance theme.]
[The next week came around slowly. He couldn't wait until Friday to get in the ring. First though, he had to take the bus. He got on the bus and it seemed like it was taking forever to get there. Finally, after about a thirty minute drive, he arrived at his bus stop. He got out of the bus and walked right to the place where the training was being held. He went early this time. He entered the front door. He saw Crusher sitting on a chair, waiting for people to show up.]
Crusher: Hey Lee. Do you have your form signed and your deposit?
Lee: Absolutely. Here you are.
[Lee handed him the money and the form to him. The deposit was to keep his spot in the camp. Lee was so happy, but he was soon crushed by The Crusher.]
Crusher: Now, before you get in the ring, you have to run around the building three times. So get out there and move! I'll be watching you.
Lee: Sure thing Crusher.
[Lee walked out the door and immediately started running around the building. It didn't take him long to run out of breath. It was then he stopped as he had completed the task. Lee was then told to do other things, like jumping jacks and squats. He was so sore, he didn't want to get in the ring and bump around even if he wasn't allowed to anyway. Time flew by so fast that he didn't realize the training session was over. He went home that night and slept like a baby. He just couldn't wait to get in the ring. Eventually he did make it to be a professional wrestler.]
AT BATTLEGROUNDS
[The scene opens at the arena. Libra, or Lee as he likes to be called, is standing in front of a blue backdrop with the Insurgency Wrestling Federation logo on it. He pauses for a moment. He looks left and right and then finally he begins to speak to the audience at home.]
Libra; Rosalie Knight, I feel really really really sorry for you. You see, I am here to kick your ass and it's going to be so damn easy that you won't even realize you've been defeated until you wake up staring at the lights. I've got more muscles than you. I am stronger than you. I have more muscle on me than you do, although you have some which makes you look kind of butch. You are a no good fool getting in the ring with me. I can lift a car with merely one hand and you, you wouldn't be able to. That is why I am going to beat you tonight in the middle of the ring.
Libra; You just plain suck. You are probably the worst wrestlers we've seen in years. You can't wrestle worth a damn and you think you can beat me? Well you're dead wrong. I've got this match in my pocket. You'll be crying when this match is over. I know it and you know it. Don't expect Death Angel to come save you. I am You can't wrestle worth a lick.
Libra: I am so much better than you, you may not even realize it. I am more smart,. More intelligent than you. I can't wait to kick your ass in the ring. You know what, you don't deserve this. You do not deserve this win. You don't deserve to win battle of the briefcase. I do, and it'll be me who wins this one. Not you. I've got this match already won. Now what do you have to say about that, bitch?
[Lee has put a ton of work into preparing for this match. Lee really wants to win this match and he shows it in his words when he spoke about Rosalie Knight. He walks off into the distance as the scene fades to black.]
