SCENE 1

Inside the bedroom of Former MMA Star turned Profession Wrestling superstar Cody Taylor, The Team Swag member was laying in his Limelight Galaxy 6ft White Super Kingsize Leather Bed with his Former Girlfriend and Cody's Angel's member Nadia, the cocky Star lay with his left arm wrapped around her as he rubbed her hand up and down his chest, he seemed uninterested in her maybe he was focused on the Tag match he had coming up or maybe he was just getting sick of playing games with these girl's any more, with Cody you could never tell what was going through his fragile and over worked mind.

Nadia slowly lifted her head up to look at his face, She let out a small sigh as she could tell he was no longer interested, She shook her head slightly before pulling her hand away and spinning over to her side facing away from Cody but that didn't seem to bother him anyway.

NADIA

"If you want me to go just say so and I'll leave you alone."

Cody groaned slightly as she finished speaking, He couldn't deal with her right now especially not with possibly the biggest match of his career about to happen this Sunday, Cody would simply sigh slightly before leaning his head back looking up at the ceiling.

CODY TAYLOR

"Like I care if you stay or go."

Nadia scoffed slightly before quickly sitting up wrapping covers around herself as she spun her legs out of the bed, Cody shook his head slightly before quickly grabbing her arm, He didn't want her to stay but at the same time he didn't want to be alone as Nadia quickly turned her head to look at him she narrowed her eyes slightly.

CODY TAYLOR

"I didn't mean that, Just stay please? I need someone around me right now."

Nadia sighed slightly before nodding slightly before laying back down as Cody wrapped his arms around her body, She was worried about him because he had never once in all the time she had known him say he needed someone.

NADIA

"You're scared aren't you?"

Cody's eyebrow slightly raised as he heard her mention the word scared, He chuckled slightly before shaking his head, She has known him for so long she must realise that Cody isn't scared of anyone by now.

CODY TAYLOR

"I'm not scared of anyone."

Nadia sighed slightly as he replied, she knew he wasn't scared of anyone but that didn't mean he wasn't scared about this match at Battle ground.

NADIA

"I never said you were scared of anyone, I said You were scared... Scared of failing, Scared of the fact you built yourself up and if you don't win, well you go back to being nothing."

Cody dropped his head slightly resting it on her shoulder, she knew him to well and that pissed him off He knew deep down inside he had to win this tag match with Shark or everything he had spent the last couple of months working to build would mean nothing any more, He had been trying to scout his opponent's and learn there tricks but it was proving to difficult due to the unpredictable nature of the rumble where anything could happen, team mates become enemies, enemies could even become alliances so of course he was scared about failing but he would never admit that to anyone except Nadia she could read him like a book so there was no point lying to her about it.

Cody sighed slightly as he nodded his head before gently kissing her neck as she let out a small moan, he stopped dropping his head back to her shoulder.

CODY TAYLOR

"This match could either prove I am for real and What I say I'll do I will do, Or it could just show the world I'm just an over hyped average wrestler at best."

Nadia looked shocked she couldn't believe what she was hearing coming out of his mouth, Average was something Cody could never be his entire career was like a Cinderella story when he came from an Unknown underdog to one of the most decorated MMA Fighters and Professional Wrestler in the world, She turned round to face him before flashing her famous smile at him whilst running the back of her hand gently down his face.

NADIA

"There's nothing Average about Cody Taylor, Do you remember saying that to me when I first met you?"

Cody allowed a small smile to appear across his face as she mention that, The first time Cody had ever met her they didn't get along at all she thought he was some average knuckle headed fighter but he eventually won her over with his charm even though it didn't last long, Cody kissed her on the forehead before taking a deep breath.

CODY TAYLOR

"Yeah there's nothing Average about big Daddy Cody, I think were my exact word's to you."

Nadia smiled and nodded slightly at him, She remembered who confident he was back then but at the same time he was the nicest guy she had ever met, she still couldn't believe how much he had changed over the course of the past three years she wanted the Cody she first met back in her life not this Cody Taylor she is seeing in front of her right now.

NADIA

"Maybe It's time for you to go Home Cody."

Cody raised his eyebrow and looked at her like she was stupid, He didn't figure out what she was talking about going home he was already home.

CODY TAYLOR

"What the fuck have you been smoking? Home I already am Home, your forgetting this is my place."

Nadia chuckled slightly before playfully punching his arm, she knew he was slow to catch on to things like this but that was one of the qualities that made him loveable in her eyes.

NADIA

"No Knuckle Head, I meant go back to where it all began, Back to the old Neighbourhood you and Calvin grew up in."

Cody sighed before rolling onto his back, The second she mentioned the old neighbourhood he lost all interest in the conversation he wasn't going back there not for anything or anyone, He fought is way out of that place and going back there not even for a visit was an option for him.

Nadia looked at Cody and shook her head slightly, she knew he didn't want to go back there but he needed to so he could find that thing that made him unstoppable in the Sport of MMA and could possibly make him unstoppable in Professional Wrestling.

NADIA

"Cody come on just take a trip down there, It could really help you out.. Remind you of what It took to take you out of there and why your fighting like a maniac to make sure you never go back there."

Cody sighed and continued to ignore what she was saying to him, he really didn't care about finding that thing inside of him especially if it meant going back to that hell hole, Cody had complicated past his childhood was mainly spent on the streets trying to make money with Calvin or in the gym training with Mick, he didn't want to relive any of that especially when his mind is as fragile as it is right now going back home could be the ultimate end for his mind frame as he prepared for battle at Battle ground for the tag Title.

Nadia placed her hand on his cheek and turned his face to face her's, she smiled at him as she tried to think of what to say to him to make him change his mind, the memories would always be in his mind and she knew that but going back there could give him the closure he needs to move on with his life and his career.

NADIA

"Cody, I'll go with you... You need to do this otherwise this is going to eat you up inside until you lose everything."

Cody scoffed slightly at her, deep down he knew she was right he just wouldn't admit that to her or anyone else for that matter, He sat up slightly resting his back against the headboard as he looked at Nadia and shrugged slightly.

CODY TAYLOR

"Shit I guess your right, Plus If I don't agree you're not going to shut up are you?"

Nadia nodded in agreement as she leaped out of the bed with the covers wrapped around her as she headed towards the bathroom, Cody sighed slightly before rolling out of bed as his feet touched the floor he shuddered slightly due to the coldness of the marble flooring, He pushed himself up before looking around the room rubbing the back of his neck slightly as he looked for his clothes, Cody stretched out his arms and let out a huge yawn as his eyes wondered to the side he seen his boxers laying there as he mumbled to himself "There they are" before bending down to pick them up, he sighed slightly he really didn't want to go back to the old neighbourhood but he knew it was for the best as he put his boxers back on her turned to look at Nadia who came shooting out the bathroom.

NADIA

"Hurry up and get Ready."

Cody raised his eyebrow slightly before shaking his head, as he slowly sat back down on the edge of the bed picking up his jeans, he couldn't believe Nadia was all ready fully dressed normally she would take hours to get ready to go out.

CODY TAYLOR

"I though you women take forever to get ready."

Nadia shook her head slightly before walking out of the bedroom to go down stairs, Cody sighed slightly as he put his jeans on he was finally alone with his thoughts every fibre of his being told him that going back to that place was a bad decision but he didn't want to look scared in front of Nadia after all he had built himself up around this image of being the toughest man on the planet, so looking weak was not and option for him. as he finished putting his socks and his team swag sneakers on he looked round the room , he let out a loud sigh as he thought to himself about how he had built this life for himself now so why did he really have to go back and see where he had came from but then again Maybe this lifestyle has made him gone soft, maybe going home will light a fire under him that can Inspire him to victory in the Retribution Rumble despite all the talk of him being a favourite to win this thing, he didn't believe he could no matter how much he tried to believe it he was doubting if he could. He looked down at the floor before pushing himself of the bed as he bent down to pick up him Team Blackout Tshirt before pulling it over his head running his hands down the front making sure it wasn't creased or anything as he walked towards the door he picked up his car key's and his Team Swag hoodie before fling it on.

Cody began to walk down the stairs seeming uninterested as he Saw Nadia standing at the bottom flashing her typical sexy smile, He looked at her and shook his head before walking straight past her towards the door, She quickly followed him as he walked out into the front as she slammed the door shut behind them, Cody slowly lifted his hand up with the Car Keys in it pressing the button to unlock his Jet Black 2012 Escalade Hybrid SUV, He raised his eyebrow slowly as Nadia quickly skipped past him and got into the passengers Cody began shaking his head before mumbling to himself "She's a damn moron". he continued to shake his head as he slowly walked over with his confident and Cocky swagger to the SUV before getting in as he buckled his seat belt, He looked at Nadia for a split second who was smiling away he quickly looked back and shook his head again before starting the engine.

CODY TAYLOR

"You're an Idiot."

Nadia looked shocked as Cody pulled out of the drive way of His California Mansion, He wasn't sure if taking the SUV was a good idea but then again taking any of his vehicles was a bad idea they just screamed "I'm rich so come rob me" as Cody kept his focus on driving, Nadia turned on the radio as Lady Gaga's Born this way began playing, Cody sighed slightly before quickly hitting the off button, as Nadia turned to look at him Narrowing her eyes at him slightly.

NADIA

"I was listening to that you know."

Cody shook his head slightly, he really didn't want to listen to any music especially lady Gaga someone he hates more than any other artist, He turned his head to look out the window as he drove past all the nice houses in his neighbourhood, He still couldn't believe he had made it to this level where money wasn't an object for him but Money wasn't everything to him it was just a nice added bonus to what he did for a living. Nadia scoffed slightly and turned her head to the side as she felt Cody was just going to ignore her this entire drive anyway, Cody turned his head slightly after hearing her scoff before turning his head back to look at the road shaking his head slightly, He knew she would go in a mood with him the second he ignored her but right now he had to much on his plate to even care wither or not she was talking to him.

After around 10 minuets of driving, Nadia had still not made any effort to talk to him but that didn't bother him it was good to have some peace and quiet for once even if he couldn't enjoy it because he was driving but it was nice none the less, They had left the gated community where Cody's house was and now they were officially on the street's of Los Angeles, Cody looked at how drastic the area they where in had changed in the last 10 minuets it was like he stepped into another world, This was the world he fought to take himself out of and the world he never wanted to go back to, Nadia turned to look at him before sighing and crossing her arms in front of her.

NADIA

"You going to stop being an asshole yet?"

Cody chuckled slightly but never turned to look at her, he kept his eyes locked on his current surroundings.

CODY TAYLOR

"Depends you going to stop being a drama queen?"

Nadia shrugged slightly before nodding as Cody laughed at her, She once again Narrowed her eyes wondering what the hell he was laughing at before slightly shaking her head and turned to look back out of the window, Cody decided not to say anything he couldn't be bothered arguing with her not right now anyway, he slowly reached his hand out and turned on the radio before quickly tuning into the Wrestling Unplugged Radio show, He wasn't really interested in anything they had to say he just wanted to hear if they were hyping up the Retribution Rumble,

ANTHONY NICHOLS~through the radio~

"As Everyone know's this weekend Wrestling Promotion IWF will host there weekly Battle ground show in New Zealand where The Tag Team title will be on the line as Team Swag Versus Upper Limits.. My money is on the veterans Robbie Hart and Corey Casey"

Cody shook his head slightly as he heard this rubbish over the radio, he knew this guy couldn't be serious Upper Limits them dudes are over the hill.

"No No No You couldn't be more wrong Anthony, There can only be one winner and that winner is going to be Cody Taylor, Just look at the kid for starters he has the most impressive physic in IWF right now, The kid is a powerhouse do you honestly Robbie Hart or Corey Casey wanting anything to so with him?, Cody Taylor would bulldoze right through them... I don't just See Team Swag winning, I see Team Swag dominating this thing."

Cody let a huge smirk grow on his face as he nodded in agreement with everything George had said on the radio, he turned to look at Nadia who looked confused it was clear she didn't understand what the guy's on the radio were actually talking about.

CODY TAYLOR

"That's my boy George bigging me up on the radio, That idiot Anthony talking about Upper Limits like those old Idiots stands a chance, Yo give my your cell till I dial into these bitches."

Nadia took her cell out and dialled the number of the Radio show before placing the cell phone on loud speaker as Cody kept his eyes on the road.

"Yeah Dog I heard, Thank's for believing in me George and Anthony shut the hell up.. Upper Limits those two old dudes probably going to have heart attacks half way through there entrance, Cody Taylor is pound for pound the greatest Wrestler on the planet today... Believe the Hype bitch.. Believe that Hype."

ANTHONY NICHOLS~through the radio~

"Cody I was just stating fact's Upper Limits have been together alot longer than both you and Shark have."

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"No one gives a shit about Corey Casey or Robbie Hart they both past there prime,, it doesn't matter who they put in front of me like George said I'll Bulldoze right through them."

ANTHONY NICHOLS~through the radio~

"You're just sound to Cocky right now Cody."

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"It isn't Cockiness if you can back it up Anthony, Just you wait and See this Saturday Cody Taylor win's the Tag Titles Put your Money on that."

Cody chuckled slightly as he looked out the window of his car and noticed he was entering his old neighbourhood, He sighed slightly trying to mentally prepare himself for this.

"Anyway I got to bounce Boy's, But remember put your money on Cody Taylor it's the safe bet because Team Swag going to win those Straps and If anyone tries to stop us well let's just say There Career going to be dead like Michael Jackson."

Nadia hung up the Cell Phone as Cody turned off the Radio, he didn't need any distraction's right now he sighed slightly as he drove onto the street that he and Calvin lived in for most of there childhood the street was like a ghost town no one was in sight as he pulled up outside his old house, he turned off the engine and turned his head slightly to look at the place before shaking his head slightly, the building was rotting away the windows and doors were boarded up, the front lawn was over grown it was a shame to see it completely rot away but then again it wasn't that much of a change from when he actually lived there. He turned to look at Nadia before getting out of the SUV and slamming the door shut as she remained in the car Cody slowly walked over into the front lawn as the memories came flooding back of his childhood, he could almost see him and Calvin playing Soldiers as a huge grin appeared on his face, he slowly walked over towards the door witch had a big piece of wood covering it up. Cody slowly shook his head before pulling the board away from the door that was held on by some rusty old nails, Cody let out a small groan as he flung the board to the side as he took a deep breath before opening the door and taking one step into the abandoned house, as his foot hit the concrete the sound echoed through out the house.

Cody slowly looked around at the ruined house he once called home as he fully stepped inside, The walls were falling apart and there was a horrible smell that was indescribable, He couldn't believe that his childhood home had falling into this state but then again it wasn't that nice to begin with as he slowly walked through the house and into the living room, he could almost see his young self sitting in front of the television watching Wrestling he smiled slightly as a small tear ran down his face he quickly wiped it away remembering the reasons why he didn't want to come back here, it was just to emotional for him to handle it as he let out a small sigh he looked down noticing an old picture laying down on the floor, He squatted down picking it up smiling slightly as he dusted of the dirt to reveal it as a picture of him when he was 10 years old when he first started his Training with Mick.

"Bright Eyed, Ready to fight the world never had any doubt about my abilities wither I could win or not.. I already knew I could win."

As Cody locked his bright blue eyes on the picture, Nadia slowly walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder showing she was here for him if he needed her.

NADIA

"You still can win Cody... You need to stop doubting yourself, Remember you fought your way out of this place and your going to keep fighting so you never need to come back to this life."

Cody nodded slightly as he slides the picture into his pocket, he wasn't sure why but maybe it could be like some lucky charm or something, He sighed slightly as he pushed himself back up to a vertical base before turning round to hug Nadia.

NADIA

"I'm going to get a Cab back to my place, You should spend a little bit more time here It might help you find what your looking for."

Cody nodded slightly before releasing the hug before turning to look around the room as Nadia slowly left, Cody slowly walked over towards the window witch had a crate laying under it he slowly kicked the crate over to the centre of the room before sitting down on it as he slowly put his hands in praying position before pushing them against his lips. He slowly turned his head to look at the corner where is Punching bag used to be, He could almost see himself punching away at the bag when he was younger, he smiled slightly as a few tears ran down his cheek but he quickly wiped them away when his eyes started to fill with tears, he slowly licked his lips as he tried to fight back the tears but being back here and all the old memories coming rushing back were just to much for him to deal with.

Cody slowly stood up and kicked the crate away with the back of his heel, he slowly wiped away the tears from his eyes and began shadow boxing like he used to when he was a little boy as he punched the air his cell phone started to ring, he jumped slightly as the house was in total silence until this point, He slowly reached into his pocket before pulling it out as he looked at the screen he seen it was Karly so a small smirk appeared across his face.

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"Yo Yo Yo Kay Zee, You missing me already girl? It's only be a few day's since I last saw you."

KARLY ZEDIC~on the phone~

"Cody Shut up... Look I need your help right now, My car's broken down and I need you to come pick me up... Your the only person I could think of asking."

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"Where are you? I'm on my way."

KARLY ZEDIC~on the phone~

"I'm at the Monsoon Cafe, The one in Santa Monica"

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"I'll be there soon."

Cody hung up on Karly and put his cell back in his pocket before running out of the house, He didn't think to put the wood back over the door he just knew he head to go get Karly, He pulled his car keys out of his pocket unlocking the door before getting in and starting the engine as he started to leave the street he began thinking about why he always felt the need to look after Karly, He cared for her but he wasn't sure about what way he cared about her. As he left the old neighbourhood his cell began ringing again, He slowly shook his head before sighing as he pulled his cell out of his pocket and put it on loud speaker before laying it on the passengers seat.

MAD MICK~on The phone~

"Cody where the hell are you? I got every reporter from every fight Magazine in the country down at the gym right now waiting for you to show up."

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"Look I got to go Pick Up Karly then I'll be there."

MAD MICK~on The phone~

"Cody that woman is not your problem, She is James Shark's damn Problem... Forget about her and get down to this gym now or I swear to God I walk away right now from it all."

Cody sighed slightly, he didn't know what to do he didn't want to Lose Mick but then again He didn't want to let Karly down.

"Don't make me choose Mick... Guess I'll be finding another Trainer after Retribution."

Cody reached over and hung up on Mick before he could finish what he was about to say, Cody knew deep down he didn't need Mick any more it was time for him to spread is wings and do this all on his own now, he turned his head slightly looking out the window as he left the neighbourhood hitting Interstate 10 making is way down to Santa Monica, He leaned over and turned on the radio as Invincible by Machine Gun Kelly had just started playing, Cody rubbed his chin slightly as he listened closely to the lyrics of the song before beginning to nod his head slightly along with the music.

CODY TAYLOR

"Look's like I just found my new Entrance music."

Cody continued to nod along to the music as his cell phone began to ring again, he looked over seeing it was Mick calling him so he just ignored it he couldn't deal with him complaining about stuff right now, he continued to Listen to the music slowly turning the volume up louder drowning out the sound of his cell phone, He didn't like ignoring Mick after everything he had done for him in his life but for some reason Karly over shadowed that fact, he wasn't sure why though wasn't like they had any sexual tension between them only thing they had In common was Team Swag, but Karly understood Cody for some strange reason she got why he was the way he was and she never judged him so maybe that was the reason he was drawn to her, Cody let out a huge sigh as the song on the radio finished and some sad love song started playing, he leaned over and hit the off button.

CODY TAYLOR

"Shit I don't need to hear that shit."

As there was no longer any music in the car, Cody began to let all the thoughts about his upcoming match at Battle Fround come into his head, He knew he was the underdog going into this match and everything he had done in IWF would mean nothing if he didn't win this Match on Saturday night, He knew alot of people were dubbing him the favourite to win but that didn't mean anything to him, anything could happen anyone could walk out with the titles but Cody knew it had to be him and James Shark, If he couldn't win this then it shows he was all hype and just an Average wrestler, He banged his fist off of the steering wheel as he thought about what he would have to do to win this match and Prove he is what he claims he is.

CODY TAYLOR

"Shit.... I got to win this thing, No if and's or buts I need to win this thing."

Cody sighed slightly he wasn't paying attention as he pulled off Interstate 10 to head into Santa , He had to get his mind off of the upcoming match and get is mind straight before he ends up crashing the car, Cody didn't know where he was right now to be honest he just knew he was near Karly anyway as he shook his head slightly and focused on his driving before he hurts himself or anyone else for that matter.

Moments Later Cody pulled up outside Monsoon Cafe as Karly smiled slightly running round to the side and getting into the Passengers side Cody looked at her as she continued to smile at him, He chuckled slightly at her.

CODY TAYLOR

"Do you know how much trouble I got into for Coming to get you? I'm supposed to be in the gym right now."

Karly's eyes widened slightly as Cody mentioned he got into trouble, She didn't want him to be in trouble with anyone especially not for her.


"What the hell!!! Cody you should have told me, I would have just got a cab instead of calling you... You should have just went to training, So is Mick pissed at you?"

Cody nodded slightly as he shoots his famous smirk at her.

CODY TAYLOR

"You're more Important than Training.... Ummm Yeah He kind of Quit on me."

Karly shook his head slightly as he mentioned Mick had quit on him, She couldn't believe he would be that stupid to put Her In Front of Mick the man who had been there his entire life.

KARLY ZEDIC

"Oh My God Cody... We are going to the Gym now, I don't care what you Say."

Cody nodded in agreement before starting the engine again, She kept her eye locked on him wonder why he blew Mick off for her.

KARLY ZEDIC

"So are you going to tell me why you blew Mick off for Me?"

Cody would chuckle slightly not taking his eyes off the road this time.

CODY TAYLOR

"Cause you have Boobs he doesn't"

Karly looked shocked before she began laughing as he playfully punched him on the arm, She knew he was joking but she wanted the real answer not some joke answer.


"But Really .... why didn't you just got to the Gym?"

Cody shook his head slightly as Karly started rummaging through her bag looking for her Lip gloss, As he turned his head looking at her for a split second before turning back to look at the road.

"Just couldn't deal with all the press that were going to be there."

Karly found her Lip Gloss as she pulled it out the bag she flung her bag to the floor before looking in the side Mirror putting some Lip Gloss on.


"That Isn't like you, Normally you love being in front of a Camera, So you can tell the world just how great Cody Taylor is."

Cody laughed slightly, She was right he did love doing that but this time was different for him.

CODY TAYLOR

"Yeah but this time it's Different, This time I need to stand In front of them and Lie to them by telling them I can win this thing, When I know I can't."

Karly turned to look at Cody as she raised her eyebrow slightly she knew he must be joking around right now.


"That's a joke Right? Everyone know's you're going to win this thing... Why are you doubting yourself now?"

Cody sighed slightly, He knew everyone thought he could win this but deep down he knew he couldn't win no matter how much he tried to believe it he knew everything he built in Wrestling would mean nothing unless he could get this done at Battle ground, They weren't that far from the gym so Cody had to try get into the cocky mode before he steps in there or the Reporters would rip him apart.

CODY TAYLOR

"I don't really know to be honest Karly, I thought I could win but as it gets closer and closer I just started to doubt myself, I mean I know I'm one of the best in IWF... I know deep down I should be able to win this but When those doubts get in your head it's hard to get them out, You Know what I mean?"

Karly nodded along with what Cody was saying, She knew how he felt but she also knew he was being stupid by doubting himself after all he was the most confident person other than James that she knew, She smiled slightly at him Cody pulled up outside his Vyper Fight Pit Gym in Los Angeles His Bouncer Derek came rushing over opening the door for him to get out as Karly got out at the same time as Cody.

Cody shook his head slightly before slamming the door shut, He turned to look at Karly who stood beside him.

"Time to face the music I guess."

Cody chuckled slightly Not taking any of this shit seriously.

SCENE 2
InsideANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia, Team Swag Member Cody Taylor was sitting in his locker room surrounded by Members of Team Blackout, Karly Zedic and His sister Kelly. Cody was busy blocking everyone out as he tried to get himself in that mind frame that made him unstoppable, He knew this was game time and Tonight if he wins he becomes one half of the tag team champions, He was ready to go to war nothing else mattered as he sat looking down at the floor, He locker room door swung open as he slowly lifted his head up to look at the door he seen his ex wife Paige standing there with his daughter Mya, He hopped of his seat dropping down to one knee as Mya ran towards him and hugged him.

Cody looked at her and mouthed the words "Thank You" as she nodded slightly, Cody lifted his daughter up and sat back down on his seat before sitting her down on his knee.

Cody nodded at his sister before looking around the locker room at everyone that had gathered around him, this was the biggest moment of his career thus far and he was glad they came to show there support despite the fact they may have had there problem's leading up to this moment, even though he refused to show it secretly he was upset that Mick wasn't here, the man was like a father to him and he knew he had blown it with him especially the way he had been acting recently.

Cody shook his head slightly as Karly placed a towel over his head as he placed his daughter down on the ground, It was a ritual of Cody's to block everyone out and let him be alone with his thoughts but this time everything was running around inside his mind, this was his golden ticket all the way to the top and he wasn't ready to let anyone steal it from him, He sighed slightly as he door was opened up and in came A backstage interviewer with the IWF Camera crew, Cody wasn't in the mood for this but he knew it was part of his job.

She nodded slightly before smiling as she thought of her next question.

She nodded slightly at Cody, she didn't know how to take him due to his reputation for messing around with Reporters when they asked him serious questions.

Aubrey looked shocked that he was actually speaking his mind instead of censoring himself encase WEW Officials gave him into trouble for this.

Cody sighed slightly as he didn't want to Answer it, He looked down at the floor before looking back up at her as he prepared to speak he was interrupted by someone clearing there throat, he looked towards the door as his eyes widened slightly as he noticed Mick as everyone turned to look at the Door, Mick slowly walked Towards Cody.

She nodded as Cody looked up at Mick, Still wondering why he was actually here he knew Mick was stubborn so he wouldn't cave in to Cody and come back.

"Last Words....It's already over, You're just giving your fan's hope by stating your going to win because there will be only one winner and He Is the Next Big Thing Cody Taylor...Believe The Hype.. Believe that Hype."

Cody smirked as Aubrey and the Camera Crew quickly left his Locker Room, Cody stood up and hugged Mick it was pretty emotional Cody didn't want Mick to leave but he look weak by telling him he still needs him to guide him, Mick slowly pulled away and placed both of his hands on Cody's neck looking him straight in the eyes.

"This Is your Time Kid... Remember Go out there and don't let anything get in your head because this is your moment to shine... No one can take this away from you.. So Are you Ready?"

Cody nodded slightly before turning to Look at Paige, As His mind started to fade away from this moment into Moments from His Past.

SCENE 3
(set In the Past)
In a Small run down apartment in Los Angeles California, A Young Cody Taylor and His Pregnant Wife Paige Ryan were laying on an old mattress on the floor, The Room was in darkness only slightly being lighted by a small candle, The wall paper on the walls was ripped and destroyed showing most all bare walls there was a horrible smell coming through from the apartment next to there's, it must have been a drug den or something as The young Couple lay there perfectly still cuddling into each other, they hear a number of loud gun shoots going off outside as Paige slightly jumps up in shock, even though she had heard it before it still made her jump every time as she lay back down her eyes filled with tear's as she knew she didn't want to bring her baby into this world to be raised in this environment, She turned to look at Cody who would gently smile at her.

"I don't want to bring our daughter into this environment Cody, Were going to have to do something."

Cody sighed slightly as he knew she was right, he needed a job to support them whilst he waited for his MMA career to finally take off but there was just one probably no one was hiring right now, everywhere he went he got turned down.. He wanted to keep Paige safe but how could he do that when he can barely take care of himself right now.

"I know Paige, I'll think of Something.. You just get some rest and let me do the thinking OK?"

Paige Nodded slightly before leaning over and kissing Cody on the lips as he slowly kissed her back, his hand moved up her back slightly, he knew nothing was going to happen since she was pregnant and the fact there current surroundings weren't a very romantic setting, He stopped kissing her and smiled slightly at her looking into her beautiful brown eyes, He could get himself lost in her eye's he would do anything for her even if it meant giving up on his MMA career that him and his Trainer Mick had been trying to build since Cody was ten years old.

"Maybe I should just give up on MMA and try find a real job, I mean it's a one in a million shot at ever making it in the business so my best bet is to find a normal everyday sort of job."

Paige looked shocked she couldn't believe she was hearing him say those's words, As much as she wanted him to get a job she never wanted him to give up on his dream, She grabbed his hand and gently placed it on her bump before smiling up at him as the baby kicked his hand as a Small smile grew on Cody's face.

"I don't want you to give up on your dream's and neither does she, It might be a One in a million shot at making it but you've defied odd's your entire life why give up now Cody? when any day that phone could ring and you could be on your way to being a star... I believe in you we Both do."

Cody smile only grew bigger as she spoke, As he cuddled into her keeping her tight against him, He thought about everything they had been through so far he never wanted this life for them, he always imagined they would live in a mansion and have everything they ever wanted but so far it hadn't work out that way for them, Cody Sighed slightly as Paige started to drift off back to sleep with Cody's eyes scouting around the apartment his facial expression turned to disgust as he couldn't believe he was actually allowing them to live her but he was to stubborn to ask anyone for help, He wanted to make it on his own so he didn't owe anyone anything, he shook his head slightly before shutting his eyes as his head lay on the pillow he began to slowly drift off to sleep, though he kept opening his eyes just to have them automatically shut again as his hug on Paige slowly loosened as he drifted off to sleep, he slowly rolled from his side to his back as his hand that was across Paige came across with him quickly smashing into the ground but that didn't wake him up, he was out for the count and there was probably nothing that could wake him up at this present moment in time.

A Few hours had past as the alarm clock next to them reads 4:30 am, Cody and Paige lay there peacefully as Cody's cell phone began to ring, Cody groaned slightly as the noise began to get louder and louder, he slowly reached out a grabbed his cell from the floor before lifting it up to his ear and answer it.

CODY TAYLOR~on the phone~

"Yo?"

Cody groaned slightly as he was rudely woken by whoever was on the other end of the phone, he lifted his free hand up to his face and slowly rubbed his eyes before letting out a huge yawn.

MAD MICK~on The phone~

"Pack your bag kid.. Your going to New York we got you a contract with VFL... Début fight 5 week's from now, Cody Taylor Vs Chuck Liddell, it's Happening Kid you finally made it."

Cody's eyes widened as he heard Mick say he got signed to VFL, but to make it even more huge his debut was against a veteran fighter Like Chuck, he slowly sat up lost for words as he tried desperately to get the words to come out of his mouth, But nothing would Come out.

MAD MICK~on The phone~

"I don't care if it's Half four in the Morning, I'm coming over Wake Paige up we've got some celebrating to do kid."

Mick hung up the Phone as Cody still sat there in shock, he still couldn't believe it as he reached his hand out and slowly shook Paige until she woke up, She slowly sat up rubbing her eyes to Look at Cody she was confused because he was just sitting there not doing anthing.

Cody shook his head slightly before letting a small smile grow on his face, He moved his lips but words still wouldn't come out but he took a deep breath before turning to look at Paige, he seen she was getting worried so he tried his best to get the words out this time.

"I..I..I Got Signed By VFL, They want me to fly out to New York to fight Chuck Liddell in 5 week's time."

Paige's Eyes widened slightly as he mentioned he had gotten signed, She flung her arms around him hugging him tightly, She couldn't believe it all his hard work had finally paid off he was going to finally get his shot to prove to the world he is for real in the MMA world, She continued to hug him as tears ran down her face she was just so happy for him, now she could bring there baby into this world without fear of having to let her be brought up in this environment, She grabbed the side of Cody's face turning his head to face her before planting a huge kiss on his lips, She still couldn't get over the fact that a couple of hours ago she had fears about bringing her baby into the place and no she no longer had to worry about it any more.

(Returning to Where Scene 2 Left off)

Cody Slowly shook his head slightly as He looked around at everyone in his Locker Room, he knew the time was getting closer for him to go into the rumble and become a Star, He knelled down and kissed his daughter on the forehead as a Stage Hand came in to his Locker Room.

Cody nodded as before making his way out the door quickly followed by Mick and the rest of Team Blackout, Cody kept a calm and cool attitude as they made there way down the corridor as backstage hand's, and Interviewers clapped for Cody wishing him luck as he made his way past them but it didn't bother him, he continued to keep that focus look on his face as Mick rubbed his shoulders slightly.
