| Yuko Isuma: Come on let's go, let's go time to grab the moment!Brian Pitcher: You know when I agreed to travel with you to Australia just to watch your stupid show, I didn't think we would packing this much luggage.Duke Dice: Oh quit your bitching Brian, it is gonna be a fun trip man, I've always wanted to go to Australia and see the wildlife there.Yuko Isuma: Yeah I'm feeling really generous today; I've bought first class tickets to Sydney for both of you. I decided you guys being cooked up in this place is pretty dull. So I thought I'd have you both come with me so you won't be left out.Brian Pitcher: Hey Yuko, think I can use your briefcase to pack some of my stuff in?Yuko Isuma: Very funny dude .Duke Dice: We're wasting time guys, let’s get this stuff in the car and get going. The plane is leaving in 20 minutes!Yuko Isuma: Alright I got everything I need, Brian you don’t need so many damn clothes, we're only there for a day or two. Just take two sets of shirts and pants and let’s go!Brian Pitcher: I can't decide which ones I wanna take with me.Yuko Isuma: Just pick two of each and leave the rest here. *Checks his clock* We’re leaving now, quickly to the car!Duke Dice: Right behind you.Brian Pitcher: *After packing his suitcase* Hey wait for me guys!We ran like mad out of the house, we took only what we need, I have my gear and my extra set of clothes set aside. Duke's got his and Brian's has his own. This is the 1st time I actually bring some friends with me to one of my trips to IWF, since we're now doing this tour thing with the federation, I've bought tickets for the show and round trip tickets to and back from Australia. All three of us put our stuff inside the trunk of the car and ran like mad as we drove off towards the airport, after finding a parking spot; we gathered our bags and stuff and sprinted as fast as we could to the air terminal. Once we arrived there, we put our stuff away and settled into our seats, looking at each other with a smile of relief in our faces.Yuko Isuma: Well boys this is it, from here on out its all just smooth cruising.Brian Pitcher: Man I can't remember the last time I've been on a plane, I feel a little dizzy though.Duke Dice: Ahh you'll get used to it Brian, man I'm so excited, Australia here we come man!I just smiled and leaned on my chair as we hear the pilot’s voice on the loudspeaker telling everyone the usual greetings/security protocols and what not. We can soon feel the floor vibrating as the plane moves into the long lane and we took off. I figured now would be the time to catch up on some sleep, it's gonna be awhile before we arrive at our destination.Location: Sydney Australia Airport. Date: April 14th, 2012. Time: Unknown.Piliot: *Over the loudspeaker* This is your captain speaking; we have arrived at the Sydney Australia airport and will be making our landing soon. I would like everyone to remain seated at all times until the plane has come to a full and complete stop. Once we've landed, take your possessions and make you have everything with you, we thank you for riding with us and may we see you again.I was already wide awake when I heard the voice; I got about a good few hours of sleep which helped. I looked around and saw that Duke is still dozing off, his fedora hat covering his face. Brian's awake and looks to be eating peanuts while looking out the window. I looked from my end and could see some dirt roads and what looked to be kangaroos hoping around though I couldn’t really tell cus we were moving so fast. I then felt a jolt which told us that we have landed and could feel the plane slowing down. Once it stopped completely, everyone got up at once and sorted through the shafts above which contained their belongings. I got my stuff from my end and made my way though the sea of people as we all got out of the plane one by one. Brian tapped Duke on the shoulder waking him up and they too would get their stuff and follow me as we moved out of the terminal and into the airport itself. The place seemed much bigger than the airport back in San Diego. We took our luggage and moved outside where the afternoon sun was hovering above us. We turned to each other and I could feel Brian and Duke looking back at me as we stood just outside of the airport.Duke Dice: So where to?Yuko Isuma: The first thing we need to do is find a place to put our luggage away so that we can look around this place.Brian Pitcher: And where the hell are we gonna find something like that?Yuko Isuma: The show takes place in the ANZ Stadium; there should be plenty of hotels near the site. We'll just find ourselves a nice one and check ourselves in.Duke Dice: Don't we need like reservations for that?Yuko Isuma: Not always, we've just gonna be here for a day or two, just enough time for us to take in some of the sights. However I need to be at that Stadium around 6 or so at the very latest.Brian Pitcher: What time is it now?Duke Dice: Around 3:20.Yuko Isuma: That gives us some time to check into our rooms, drop our stuff, get out and perhaps go to a wildlife park if you guys are interested.Brian Pitcher: I'm game.Duke Dice: First things first though, we need to find ourselves a hotel to stay at.I then noticed some taxes near us, I then nodded my head. Yuko Isuma: Follow me boys.We hailed a couple of cabs and put our stuff in the trunk, I and Duke sat in the back of the first cab while Brian had the 2nd one. Our driver is this nice look Australian chick with a light brown hat that looks good on her, she spoke with a somewhat thick Australian accent as we drove off with the 2nd cab following us close behind. Me and Duke exchange worried looks as we look back at the cab behind us and repositioned ourselves so that we were facing the driver.Yuko Isuma: I sure hope Brian remembered to bring his wallet with him.Duke Dice: If not I'll compensate for him, I don’t want you wasting all your money on us.Yuko Isuma: Thanks. The Driver: So were ya fellas headin?Yuko Isuma: To the ANZ Stadium. The Driver: You got it mate.Duke Dice: Hey Yuko, you have any idea who you're fighting tonight? Yuko Isuma: Actually..........I don't, at least not yet anyway. The Driver: You there with the black hair, you the guy called Steel Angeil aint ya?Yuko Isuma: That's correct ma'am.The Driver: Hah I thought so, you look much better in person than you do on T.V, my kid is a big fan of yours.Yuko Isuma: No kidding. The Driver: I wonder if I can get ya autograph for him, I'll even give ya'll a discount.Yuko Isuma: Sure thing. She smiled at me through the rearview mirror, I felt a little hot, could be from this car. I could soon see the stadium from the distance, it was a thing of beauty, and we soon were dropped off at our destination. I gave the woman my autograph and paid for the fair. We took our luggage and waved her off as she drove away, Brian wasn’t too far behind and soon all three of us stood around once again.Yuko Isuma: Well now that we're here, let's go find ourselves a hotel to stay in.Duke Dice: With you on that one.Brian Pitcher: Yeah I need to stretch out my legs, that cab gave me a damn Charlie horse. We laughed and walked around the streets until we've found a nice hotel just a few blocks away. We checked ourselves and got us a couple of rooms. I dropped my stuff in my closet room taking only a few things with me. I left the room and saw Duke and Brian a few door away from me, they appeared to have just dropped their luggage as well. The three of then left the hotel and walked around, I then noticed a wildlife park just across the street from us.Yuko Isuma: Let's head that way.Duke Dice: The wildlife park? Sure why not.Brian Pitcher: I don't really care just as long as we're moving around.I just shook my head and with my mind already set, I carefully moved through the street and towards the park, paying admission to the guy in the booth and waiting for the others to catch up. Once we're in, I turned to Duke and Brian.Yuko Isuma: Alright listen carefully, we have some time to kill, you guys can go ahead and do whatever. We'll rendezvous here at 5:30 sharp so make sure you set your watches. Is that clear?Duke Dice: You got it man.Yuko Isuma: Brian this means you too, don't make me have to go look for you.Brian Pitcher: Alright I got it.Yuko Isuma: Good now remember, 5:30 no later than that. They both nodded and with that, we all split up into different directions. I decided to walk towards the koala section, observing the cute and cuddly creatures while walking around the oak trees and passing by many different stands that were selling food and items to the local public. It was rather interesting that a popular athlete such as myself would mingle with common people on a daily basis like this. Truth be told I don't ever consider myself special among these people, I mean I may be a big star in IWF right now, but I'm also one with my fans as well. As I wondered throughout the park I noticed my watch and starting heading back to the entrance. To my relief both Brian and Duke were waiting for me.Yuko Isuma: Come on let's go.We left the park and made our way back to the hotel, however only I entered my room while Duke and Brian waiting out the door. I took my wrestling gear and my bag and left everything else in a safe place where I can find it. Once I had everything I needed, I left the room and nodded at my friends as we left the place without saying a word. Once we got near the stadium, I could already see a huge crowd at the entrance. I turned to Duke and Brian.Yuko Isuma: Alright boys this is where we part ways.Brian Pitcher: You mean we can't just follow backstage?Yuko Isuma: Only staff and members of IWF are allowed backstage, we only let a few fans in just to take autographs. You guys will have to wait at the entrance while I go in the back.Duke Dice: So when will we see you wrestle?Yuko Isuma: Trust me; you'll know when I come out.Duke Dice: Good luck then.Brian Pitcher: See you after the show.I ran off and waved them goodbye as I headed for one of the back entrances to the place. I guard inspected my I.D before letting me in. I passed through the corridors, my briefcase in one hand and my bag full of gear in the other. I went inside my locker room and closed the door behind me. Once I've settled in, I started doing some warm up routines, getting myself pumped for tonight's show. I have no idea who I'm fighting yet, but I got a funny feeling I'll know soon enough.*The Shoot*You thought you pulled a fast one on me eh Sharky? You thought you had the last laugh when you and Cody purposly got yourselves counted out. I totally saw it coming a mile away, I just knew your pride was too much that you would rather sacrifice a win just for sake of keeping your ego intake rather than take one for the team.
And you thought you could get away with it, but you seemed to have forgotten about my backup plan: Sean Libby.
I warned you beforehand that he would kick your head in Shark, I told you before you started this fight that he would take your ass out.
Did you heed my warning? Nope you were so focused on me that you failed to see my trap spring before you, and by the time you found out, it was already too late.
And don’t give me that whole "I only fell down cus his feet stank" bullshit. You know for a guy who talks down to any person that he's beaten before, you sure do act like a total bitch yourself when the tables are turned on you. Pics or it didn't happen; well Shark here's your pic RIGHT HERE.The scene then cuts to the match last week between Cody Taylor and James Shark. Cody is already to his feet and extends his hand to James Shark who takes it and shakes it, as both men look over at Steel Angel, who is sitting beside the announcers still while Sean Libby reluctantly calls for the bell. Rick – Double count out?! [Ding Ding Ding!] Heather Thompson – Ladies and gentlemen, this match is declared a draw due to a double countout! Rick – Wow, should have seen that one coming Matt – They scrapped for a bit, but in the end, they both agreed that that was enough James Shark and Cody Taylor climb into the ring and pose for the fans, who boo them. James Shark moves over to the ropes to grab his belt. He looks at Steel Angel and grins, yelling something at him. Behind him, Cody Taylor turns around and eats a superkick from Sean Libby, knocking him out. Rick – Cody just got superkicked by Sean! Matt – Out of nowhere! James Shark slowly turns around and is superkicked by Sean Libby as well, knocking him to the ground. Sean Libby stares at both men before exiting the ring and walking up the entrance ramp alone. Rick – Sean just kicked both of these men’s heads off! Matt – I guess he got his revenge. Not only on SM Raye, but both Shark and Cody tonight Rick - Wow what a night this was for Sean Libby The scene ends there are we soon see Steel's face once more. You see that Shark? You got kicked right in the fucking jaw, don't tell me you fell down cus his feet stank because 1. Your back was turned when he poised for the superkick and 2. his foot was right under your jaw, nowhere near your nose and 3. How can you even smell a foot when it's coming right at you?
See Shark you are just making excuses like I used to do back when I was Rick's old lap dog. That was a mistake I would later regret and I'm glad to have gotten out of that when I could, and it was a lession well learned. See Shark I tend to learn from my mistakes unlike you who makes the same damn mistake again and again. You're black who the fuck cares? I don't give a shit if you're black, white, tan, yellow, blue, green or even brown, as the top fighter and the champ you are suppose to set a good example. You have to show confidence and you're not doing yourself any justice by making up pathetic excuses like this.
A true champion does not make excuses for his shortcomings; a true champion takes every challenge, great or small seriously. You've only gotten this far because of your mouth and the fact that you are a heavy hitter, well that's great and all but you're considerably flawed Shark. You're not perfection hell no one is, I don't claim to be, however know this: As long as I hold the briefcase in my hand, you're reign is always in danger. Take last week for example, I could have ended it right there and then, but I knew Corey would come from the sidelines to stop me, I was hoping he would too, would have been sad if I were to end you so soon.
Ahh Corey Casey, what history that we've had though brief. I have so much to repay you for.
Ever since you destroyed my dark side back in Nowhere to Run, I felt like a phoenix reborned from the ashes. Funny isn’t it, that I would compare my return to that of our old federation logo? You saved Shark's pride and prevented me from taking his belt, and how does he repay you?
By taking you out with a sucker punch.
But that's ok, because I gave you a chance at some payback; yes this Upper Limit vs. Team Swag was all my doing. I suggested to GM Brandon that the tag belts should have legit owners, which is what led to the stipulation for tonight's main event match.
I know I have a match myself against an unknown opponent but I will face my adversary regardless of who it is. I'm a warrior, I'm a gladiator, I fight whoever and I aim to win.
As for making this tag match, you guys can count on me watching this very closely, I will be nearby where the action is.
And Corey there's no need to thank me for giving you this opportunity but know this:
As of tonight, we are even. I'll be seeing you. |
