Cassidy Smith [vs] Masochist Messiah

SCENE 1 – Stop the Bullying

[Ever since I was a little boy I wanted to become a professional wrestler. |There would be no other alternative. I wanted it so bad. Watching wrestling every day, I wanted to make it one day. I learned and watched everything that I could. My favorite wrestlers when I was a kid were Bob "The Hitman" Hart and "The Heart Break Kid" Shane Michaels. I watched wrestling so much and talked about it so much, people teased me about it, saying wrestling was fake and I was a loser who liked it. I used to get so angry about not being treated with the same respect as someone who walked the National Hockey League. I used to hate hockey because that's what people who tease me, liked.]

[I remember one time I was at school and was really excited about Wrestlefest coming up. Anyway, I just happened to be talking about wrestling when the school bully came up to me and started making fun of me because I was really excited about it. He said wrestling was for losers and I was biggest loser of them all. That's when I lost my temper. I grabbed him and put him into a full nelson. He screamed in pain. From there, I tripped the leg out from under him and he came crashing face first into the floor. He slowly flipped himself over and when I looked at him, I noticed he had a busted face.]

[It wasn't long before I was sent to the Principal's office. She asked why I did what I did. I said that he was picking on me for no reason and I got fed up with it. The Principal gave me an after school detention. I didn't mind, my mother would understand, or would she? When she came to get me after school, she was silent at first. She said she wasn't going to get mad because she understood that I was being bullied at school. She said to me "Just brush it off your shoulder if they say mean things to you. If you feed into it and show that it bugs you, they will pick on you even more. Pretend that you are a wrestler who gets ragged on by fans, you got to keep your head high and don't let it effect you one bit. You're the champion and pretend that they paid to see you!]

[Not suprisingly, it was my mother who would later go on to pay my wrestling tuition. She said that she would help me follow my dreams. She said though that I would have to go to school. She said that I needed something to fall back on, just in case my dreams didn't come true. I decided that I would take New Media at college. There, I would have something to fall back on. There were other perks by going to college. There were hot women everywhere. That's where he met his girlfriend Jessica Lorner.]

SCENE 2 – College Chicks

[Jessica Lorner was a woman in college that Cassidy really liked. First and foremost, she was beautiful. She had long blond hair. She had beautiful eyes, that were green. She also had curves in all the right places. Cassidy was almost obsessed over her as much as wrestling. Almost, but not quite. He wasn't one of those guys who would admire her from afar. He would actually go in and talk to her and see if she was a match for him. He wanted to see if he liked her enough to talk to her. He would talk to her every day when they waited for the teacher to come to the class to open the door. He sat beside her and they exchanged notes. By notes I mean notes that the teacher posted on the board. One day Cassidy asked her if she would like to study together for their big exam they had in one of their classes. She of course said yes. Cassidy was so excited about this but he was able to contain his excitement. He gave her his home address and she came over.]

[When she came over he had some drinks ready in the fridge. After talking to her so much, he practically knew everything about her. He knew that she liked to drink Pepsi. Cassidy had a couple of cold pepsi in the refridgerator. He made sure his basement was clean, not a cat hair from his cat Kasey, not a speck of dust, nothing. He wanted to make it perfect for them. He had candles that he could light but decided that would be a little too much for a first time meeting.]
[When the door bell rang, he adjusted his shirt and pants and then opened the door. There she was, wearing a tight pink shirt and daisy dukes. They didn't call her Daisy for nothing. She ran her hands through her hair. She greeted Cassidy with a smile. Then she leaned in and kissed him. She said that she had been waiting for her chance to get him alone. From there, they didn't even study. I will leave you to your ideas of what happened next. Once the night was over, they were now boyfriend and girlfriend.]

SCENE – The Break in

[It happened years ago when Cassidy was a small child. One night when he was playing with his wrestling action figures there was a sudden crash in the living room area of his parents' two bed room apartment. Cassidy's heart skipped a beat when he heard a gun shot go off. He decided that it'd be a really wise idea to stay put. He jumped in his bed and hid under the covers. From there he heard his bed room crash open. There was nothing in the room for them to steal. Well they could steal whatever they wanted but there was nothing of value to them. All Cassidy had was a bunch of toys and clothes. They didn't spend to long in his room. Once they left the apartment, his mother came running in to see if he was okay. Cassidy said he was fine. His mother called the police and they had her give a brief description of what they looked like. She hadn't seen either of their faces because they were wearing black wool masks. This was the scariest part of Cassidy Smith's life. It made him a lot more tougher in school. Simply telling him wrestling sucked wasn't going to tick him off. He had real issues to make the teasing seem pale in comparison.]

[The night before he left for his first match was a fun one. While he was on the couch watching the last Battlegrounds episode, he was greeted to a meal from his girlfriend. First she set up a tv tray. She then brought over his favorite meal, lasagna. He scarfed it down pretty quickly, he was so hungry. After he was done eating, his girlfriend brought him a beer. She cleaned off the tv tray and then put it away in the closet. She said that she was so proud of him, making his big debut in the Insurgency Wrestling Federation. She got on her knees and pulled off his socks. She then began to rub his feet. Cassidy said ``This is the life.`` His girlfriend replied ``It`ll be even better once you get some gold around your waist.`` He sighed and drank his drink while Jessica rubbed his feet.]



Promo Time

[The scene opens backstage at the arena where Battlegrounds is being held. He is wearing a singlet that says Cassidy up the back in a gold diagonal. He is standing in front of a Insurgency Wrestling Federation Battlegrounds back drop. He is alone and the camera is on him. He is holding a microphone in hand. He looks at the camera and begins to speak to the audience watching at home and the fans in the arena.]

Cassidy Smith: You know, it's been quite the path I've been following so far in the world of pro wrestling. I just finished my training at the squared circle wrestling academy and now I am here in Insurgency Wrestling Federation. I am here in the big time. It didn't take long for me to get here, I didn't even pay my dues wrestling in the independents. I have to count my blessings and be thankful that I made it to the big time. There is no bigger stage than the Insurgency Wrestling Federation. Now this week, in my first ever match, I am stepping in the ring with someone that I really don't respect. I am stepping in the ring with Masochist Messiah. He's from the "Unholy Gates" which doesn't really spook me. What really spooks me is seeing my girlfriend in the morning without her make up and her hair all a mess. You're a spooky demon guy or whatever, doesn't impress me much.
So when we step in the ring you better realize who you're standing in the ring with. You're stepping in the ring with someone who is hungry to make a name for himself. I am new here, yeah, but that doesn't mean when the bell rings I can't go. There is no stopping Cassidy Smith from going straight to the top of Insurgency Wrestling Federation. No one can stop me. The only person in the way from getting success is me. I have to get out of my own way, let go of all the excuses and let myself succeed. Messiah, you don`t know what you`re in for when we wrestle this week on Battlegrounds. You can bring it all and I will definately bring it all. We`re going to have a hell of a match, I can guarantee you that. Messiah, you`ve got another thing coming if you think you can beat me. There is no one who can beat me. I will, before long become the Insurgency Wrestling Federation champion before my career is through. You`re the first of the many victims who will get their butt handed to them. It doesn`t matter how strong you are, how fast you are, it doesn`t really matter. Just show your face this week on Battlegrounds and see what happens. Wrestling World, be ready to see me tear the roof off the arena! It`s going to be one heck of a ride, one heck of a battle, one battle for the ages. It`s me versus you Messiah and you will see just what happens when you step into the wrestling ring, the squared circle with me! See you in the ring Messiah, and sleep tight. Don`t let those bed bugs bite. I am out of here! Peace!

[The scene fades to black.]

Scene One – Prolog

Messiah just got back from his match to Aries and that match was yet another loss. Messiah is in his locker room beside himself. He doesn't know what he can do to get on the winning track here in IWF.

"What is fucking wrong with me. I just can't seem to get a fucking win here."

Messiah head starts to throb and he goes down to the floor in pain.

"YOU FAILED ME YET AGAIN MESSIAH!!!"

Messiah squirms on the floor in pain. Unable to speak dew to the intense pain in his head.

"NO MORE OF THIS NONSENSE. I AM COMING AND YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULD KEEP YOU AROUND!!!!!"

The pain goes away and Messiah slowly starts to get up he is holding his head.

"This is not good. This is not good for anyone."

Messiah sits down and starts to think how can he explain his recent bad luck to HIM. How can he explain anything. Messiah sits there worried with a down look on his face as the scene comes to a end.

Scene Two-The Arrival of HIM

Messiah sits at his house nervous as can be. Knowing today HIM arrives he sits there letting out a sigh every now and then as he watches his pet zombie nom on a severed leg of someone.

"Man you zombies got the good life not a care in the World."

The zombie doesn't even respond just continues chewing on the flesh of a once living persons leg. Messiah quickly stands up he can feel it his master has arrived. Messiah takes a deep long breath as he walks to the door and opens it. It is HIM a Giant hulking beast he is not man but a God.





Messiah quickly falls to his knees before HIM. As he enters the house.

"I See you been living well dispite being a complete and useless tool for my needs."

Messiah attempts to respond before he can say anything he gets cut off.

"SILENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not ask you for a response. Now why should I let you be?...."

Messiah says nothing not knowing if he should answer.

"Its ok you can respond now."

Messiah thinks for moment before answering as this could mean his very life if HIM doesn't like his answer.

"Well my great and awesome Master. I was able to win one match so I haven't been a complete waste."

"One out of Four isn't what I would call a success."

Messiah becomes desperate and begins to beg.

"Please give me another chance ohh great one. I promise you I can win this next match my opponent a push over."

There is a moment of silence then like that with a shake of the Head Messiah falls to the ground life less. As if the soul and life force of him has just been sucked out.

"I don't like beggars now maybe someone else can make use of this body that you failed to use."

This being known only as HIM begins to chant things in a strange language. It gets dark outside as storm clouds begin to form over Messiahs house. Then there is a lighting strike. With that strike Messiah gets back up but there is something very strange about him. He acts different he stands there looking at his hands then rubbing his face as the scene comes to a end.

Scene Three-You are the new Messiah.

Scene opens with Messiah standing there still acting weird as HIM talks.

"Welcome back to the upper world my child."

Messiah looks at HIM.

"This body is not mine it feels strange."

"No its not your old body your in a new vessel. A Vessel that is to bring the end of days."

This new Messiah drops to his knee's and thanks HIM for the gift of this body.

"Now maybe you can use this body better then its previous soul. You go by the name Masochist Messiah and you are a pro wrestler."

Messiah looks confused.

"I know nothing of this word you speak wrestling. What is it?"

HIM puts his hand on Messiah head and just like that he was able to get the thoughts of the body's previous owner.

"This seems to be easy enough. Just beat people up and take there soul. How hard can it be?"

"Considering how bad the Previous Messiah failed it must be harder then originally thought. But no worrys I will server as your manager."

Messiah looks at HIM and responds.

"I don't think you will fit in around this plain of existence looking like that ohh great one."

HIM thinks for a moment.

"You might be right maybe this appearance is more suiting."

With a snap of a finger HIM changes his appearance.



"From now on call me Minister Sinn."

"As you wish my lord... I mean Minister Sinn"

The two let out a sinister laugh as the scene comes to a end.

Scene Three-My Opponent.

Scene opens backstage as Minister Sinn and his client Masochist Messiah are there to talk about the up coming match versus Cassidy Smith. Minister begins the promo.

"You know I kind of feel sorry for this Cassidy kid. Right out of the academy and he has a beast like you Messiah for his first match."

Messiah just smirks as he cracks his neck with a delightful grin on his face. As he is just thinking of ways to torture young Cassidy Smith.

"Look at Messiah face son. Do you really think you got a shot against him. I am telling you this as a warning Cassidy stay home and watch Battleground from the safety of your couch. Cause if you show up Messiah here will do things to you that will scar you for life. "

Messiah starts to speak.

"Cassidy Smith dispite my losing ways these last couple of weeks thinks are going to change. Under the guidance of Minister Sinn I feel unbeatable,unstoppable and damn well unkillable. Take this as your once and only warning stepping into the ring with me is suicide."

"Well now that you put it like that. Cassidy don't stay home please come to Battleground I love watching some one die. HAHAHAHA"

The two walk off as the scene comes to a end.
