Gimmick: After his victory over Corey Casey at Ragnrok which led to Corey Casey's retirement, Stygian realized he had retired Tim Patrick, Tyson Rowle, Brandon Macdonald and Corey Casey from the ring, as well as having victories over Ruben Ricardo Leon, Steel Angel, James Shark and Chuck Matthews.  He figured this made him something of a legend killer, but he deemed that the sobriquet "legend killer" was far too common and unoriginal.  He also had a hard time calling Tim Patrick, Tyson Rowle and Steel Angel "legends", but he did concede they were stars, and therefore christened himself "The Star Destroyer".  He seems to have abandoned his mercenary ways, either because he sold a profitable software patent to a major computer company, or because the fans seem to have found respect; respect--but not admiration--for him after the already-legendary Hellzone Match at Ragnarok and he seemed to have a harder time hating and deliberately antagonizing them after that.

Eventually the fans support inspired him to heroism.  He became their vaunted champion, capturing his second IWF Title in a brutal six-man Double Cage Horror Elimination match at Fallout '12.  When Corey Casey unveiled his vaunted Empire, Stygian was one of the men there to meet it head on.  However Corey put himself into the draw for special referee and won the fan vote.  The Empire would use the match to steal the IWF World Heavyweight Title from Stygian in controversial fashion.  The next week, as Stygian was deciding whether or not to invoke his rematch clause or step aside and let Parker field the challenge of Alexander Remington, disaster struck.  Death Angel attacked Stygian, handcuffing him into the corner and forcing him to watch as he put Lilith and Lilah through a table.  In the aftermath of the incident it was revealed that Lilah has suffered such psychological trauma that she had fled to her hometown an cut off all communications with the Black Dragon.  It also came to light that Lilith's spine was crushed and when she completed physical therapy, she fled to Palo Alto, California to begin divorce proceedings and work on her PhD at Stanford.  Resultant to the attack, Stygian wasn't seen for several months, and it was believed he had retired.  However when Jessica Matthews showed up to right the ship, she announced the Siege Perilous tournament, where eight men who had never been granted a World Title opportunity competed for the right to face a chosen former champion of IWF for a title opportunity.  When Phillip Joseph won the tournament, Jessica revealed her champion: Stygian had returned to IWF.  After performing his task for Jessica, he vowed to rid IWF of Corey Casey.

Stygian has dominated every company he's ever been in, winning whatever promotion's world title in short order, usually in under four months.  As such he refuses to compete for any title but the world title.  If he finds himself victorious in any such match for a lower belt he will quickly grab the microphone, forfeit the title, and if you're not careful he'll throw the damn thing in the trash!  More commonly, however, he spikes the belt onto the fallen form of the man he defeated for it.  He is not interested in becoming High Impact Champion, New Blood Champion or Tag Champion.  Not now, not ever.  He will fight these men, but he will not be tainted by a lesser belt.  Stygian holds himself to a higher standard, he sees himself as the spiritual liege of every professional wrestler in the world.  They should aspire to be him, and if they don't fit his ideal of what a wrestler is, he will personally retire them from the sport (he's retired 11 men).  He  sees himself as having few equals if any, so he will rarely form tag teams or stables and never as a subordinate.  He can be yours for a price, and he'll keep his word if you pay him, but don't give him orders and don't try and double cross him; lest there be a flaming barb-wire wrapped table in your future.  Stygian is on a mission to remake the sport in his ideal, eliminating the stupid, the weak, and those he feels don't belong.

Height: 7'

Weight: 315

Hometown: Bullhead City, Arizona

Resides: Boulder, Colorado

BILLED FROM: Bullhead City, Arizona

Alignment: Face

Favorite Specialty Match: Hellzone (Innovated)

The match is a three tiered cage like Ready to Rumble.  When all participants are in the cage, it is locked.  A casket is placed outside of the bottom cage and locked with chains.  In the top cage is a set of bolt cutters which can be used to cut the locks on the chain and the casket.  All around the ring is a set of cables from which weapons are suspended like a Clockwork Orange House of Fun.  Ladders are also provided to get to the second cage.  The second cage is empty.  In the third cage, along with the bolt cutters, are some very sick weapons; cheese graters, straight jackets, staple guns, the really demented stuff.  The object is to make your opponent bleed and then close them in the casket.

Pic Base: Christian Kane

Appearance/Attire: Stygian wears black leather pants affixed with steel buckles down the outsides of the legs and a black leather boots with three layered jagged plates made to look like steel, but naturally they’re something like neoprene protruding from the ankle joint up over the shin and affixed to black leather, with straps that clasp behind the calf.  He also wears a simple black leather belt with a buckle that looks like a jagged, steel, dragon scale.  He wears gloves which go halfway up his arms fashioned to look like jagged steel plates haphazardly over a flowing background of airbrushed molten steel.  Stygian also wears a black flak-jacket style vest made to look like a breastplate forged out steel plates floating over lines molten steel that roughly outline the major muscle lines of his torso; the molten steel freely flows perpetually, a thin layer of luminescent thermo-reactive fluid that changes with his body heat under a clear gel layer.  Underneath this vest he wears a plain black, sleeveless Underarmor top.

Theme Music: "End of Time (Black Dragon Battle Mix)" by Jorn Lande

Code:
The lights die out, every last light in the joint is gone.  Fans light lighters…well since nobody fucking smokes anymore, there aren’t many lighters lit, but a few.  Others hold up their cameras with the flashes lit, or their phones with either the selfsame, or a stupid app that makes it look like they’re holding up a lit lighter.   Hell, the IWF marketing department shamelessly sells small LED squeeze lights with Black Dragon logos on them for fans to hold up at moments like this.  Regardless of the illuminating device, fans are holding them up and the audience looks like they’re at a Poison concert waiting to hear “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn”.  But instead, they hear the sound of a dragon flapping its wings, and then a deep, resonant roar fills the arena as the creature suddenly appears on the jumbotron overhead and lands atop a jagged, black volcanic mountain.  A few feet below where the winged beast lands, a lava fissure cracks, and magma cascades down the sheer cliff face and appears to spill onto the stage below, where the silhouette of a man stands.  The lava vanishes behind him, and appears to fill up a molten armor chestpiece until it glows yellow-orange.

[center][size=18][b][color=#feba03]YOU ARE NOT PREPARED[/color][/b][/size][/center]

A wall of fire erupts, blocking the stage and even the jumbotron itself.  Flames shoot down either side of the ramp, and when it gets to the end, the ring posts light up and burn like torches as the eye is naturally turned back to the entrance ramp where Stygian stands replete in his full regalia, and with a scalloped black over-the shoulder cape as the opening cord of the first verse of Jorn’s “End of Time” rings throughout the arena.

[b][color=#feba03][center] I have a dream to start over again
In silence bleeding - is the heartbroken man
Turning the pages I'm longing for grace
I'm fading picture of a human in rage[/center][/color][/b]

Stygian walks down the flaming ramp with a snarl on his face through the second verse.  He glances back and forth into the crowd, but never once reaches to slap an outstretched hand or even smile.  Instead he steps just over the edge of the ringside mats, undoes the cape and lets it slide off and raises his hands in time with the chorus.  When he does, the ring posts erupt in pillars of flame that seem to reach high enough to burn god’s ballsack.

[b][color=#feba03][center] Tell me who we are
Coming from afar
See the distant star
In a flying car
It's a future world
Go and get your girl
Reach for the sky to the end of time[/center][/color][/b]

Stygian runs and dives under the bottom rope, pushing himself up to his feet in a surprisingly quick motion for such a large man.  He ((fixes his stern gaze on his opponent, awaiting the start of the match.  <<OR>> wheels around to face the entrance ramp, leaning on the top rope with both hands and awaiting his arrival.))

Primary Style: Stygian is mostly a powerhouse.  He's one of the strongest men in the sport, having been in the ring with 300 and 400 pounders and been able to lift and slam them without difficulty.

Secondary Style: Stygian is a step below the best strikers in the business.  He's no MMA pedigree, but he's been in the ring with former MMA champions and boxing champions, stood toe-to-toe with them and held his own.  He lacks one-punch knockout power, but he can do some definite damage with his fists, his knees, his elbows and his Spartan Kick.  Also...

Other Style: ...he's one of the dirtiest motherfuckers in the sport!  He takes cheating to an art form!  Stygian is a master of diverting the ref's attention so he can sneak a weapon into the mix.  He can tag a man in the junk from just about anywhere.  He always maintains holds to the count of four, rarely gives a clean break, and has no qualms about employing illegal holds or kicking a man when he's down.  Also, the girls frequently are employed as a means of distracting the ref for him.  They've been known to slip him weapons as well.  Favorites are a roll of quarters, a stun gun, and his loaded elbow pad.
