IWF Champion to miss Battle Grounds

Newly-Crowned IWF Champion Stygian confirmed via Twitter today that he will not be at Battle Grounds this week in order to give departing former champion Brandon MacDonald a chance to say his farewell to the fans. "Brandon's earned the right to say goodbye without me overshadowing the moment as IWF Champion and the man who beat him in his last match," the new champion said through IWF's website following his tweet. "I'm giving him this week to address the fans if that's what he wants to do. I'll be on hand next week to celebrate. I'm going to go home to Colorado, have a private celebration with Lilith and Lilah and then I'll get back to it the next week."
