Chapter 1: You didn't win.

Arkham Havok part 1 Cb2e543dcab6332b6be4015f39bd1cc2

There I was backstage sitting down alone in my own thoughts, I've been pondering about this match for the longest time. Me against Stygian, everyone thought it was gonna be a one sided beat down for me. Already I could feel the lingering eyes from some of the other athletes and hear the faint sounds of their voices, mocking me, insulting, calling me all kinds of names: Paper champ, flash in a pan, can't handle the pressure and so on. Stygian is no stranger to tearing apart his opponents; he's beaten the likes of Brandon, James Shark, Chuck Matthews among others. To everyone else I was just a big slap of meat dangling from a rope just waiting for a hungry dragon to swoop in and devour it.

Long story short, no one thought I was going to last a minute against Stygian, considering that Chad Mason is the ref.

I knew why Chad did it; he wanted revenge for embarrassing him last week when I showed the world just how helpless he really is. I've impressed many people with my victory over the "greatest High Impact champion ever" but still they talk behind my back. I didn't let em get to me, somehow I knew defeating Stygian while possible, will be a very difficult task.

But hey you can't say I didn't lack the guts to go out there and make an attempt, I mean I'm not like Shark or Cody who just took their ball home when they couldn’t get their way. Cody was always a whiny bitch but what else is new? When he first came here he was brimming with confidence, he got in my face, insulted me to no end, believed that he would walk away with the briefcase and a Heavyweight title shot in his 2nd IWF match. But he hit a brick wall in the form of me when I showed up and gave him a fight he would not soon forget. I took everything he threw at me and dished it back at him tenfold, every move he made, I responded in kind, when he tried to take a shortcut with those brass knuckles, I would respond by kicking him off the ladder. Ever since I claimed the briefcase all I heard from Cody was how I "stole" everything from him. We would get a rematch with him taking a back door approach and getting a win over me but then what? He got destroyed twice by the same man who I've now beaten three times in a row.

Then came James Shark, and do we even NEED to know how I felt about him?

The guy calls me a pussy, yet he's the one who leaves the federation after a simple beat down that he could easily recover from in time for the main event match. He never arrived and instead I get a bunch of big children who have been a real thorn to my side as of late. That's why I made our match at Ragnarok a steel cage, they can't get in and Chad won’t be able to get out.

But that's later down the road, right now I need to worry about a 7 foot dragon with a mean streak that matches Corey's. I arrived at the ring, glaring at Chad who is wearing the zebra stripes, this was just plain dumb to think that management would allow an awkward fuck like Chad be a ref after all the damage he's been inflicting.

Anyway so there I was taking it to the so called "real" IWF Heavyweight champion, I did surprisingly well and even had him a few times but of course Chad was being the asshole douchbag that he is. Once I saw him gathering with the rest of the girls, I thought "Ok I just about had enough of this bullshit!" and took a swan dive right into the group and like bowling pins they all fall down. No sooner did I do that did Stygian came from behind me and then took it upon himself to beat the living shit out of me. I was bloody mess but I was far from being down and out, a 2nd ref would arrive and that was when I was in the driver's seat. Once I hit that Skyward Breakdown I thought it was it, I thought I would actually pin Stygian but once again Chad screwed me and Stygain's Bane blade was all it took.

I don't care what Chad said, I had Stygian beat, everyone knew it, the backstage knew it, Corey knew it, I defeated Stygian right there but it was the work of an awkward asshole who is trying so fucking hard to become the next Chuck Matthews that robbed me of my well deserved victory.

And when returned I backstage everyone who was talking behind my back........were suddenly more open towards me. I see some of them nodding their heads, some said stuff like "Wow he took it to Stygian" or "Perhaps he's not so bad after all" it's amazing when one match can change everyone's opinion on you. Everyone knew that Stygian didn't deserve the win, in fact Stygian didn't win, Chad won the match for him and now it's 2 and 1 between me and Chad.

But even though I had to swallow this bitter loss, I also can't help but smile. Chad may have gotten the better of me this time but when Ragnarok comes he won't be smiling anymore. He's going to be facing me in a steel cage, all alone all by himself. He'll have no one to help him; he can't just rely on his buddies from Natural Law to bail him out this time around. I have alot of anger that I want to take out on him, I have alot to prove going into this match. I haven't forgotten the vow I made a while back that I would defend this belt and win and that's what I aim to do is win this match and knock Chad down. Everything is riding on this one match, Chad doing everything in his power to win his 1st title in IWF and me preventing the Mason or Massacre from ever occurring. Chad is a coward and a wuss, but there's no denying he's a crafty fucker and can take a beating. The problem is he's dealing with a guy who has no quit in him, no off switch, no surrender. Chad needs to bring his A game, he can't afford to be overconfident otherwise his attempt at becoming champion will end before it even starts and I will be the one that makes it happen.

Ragnarok is coming........he better pray while he can.

Chapter 2: A wild "knight" inside Arkham

The scene opens to a long road with a few worn out signs hanging from the edges, the numbers faded but still readable. Countless stars dance across a cloudless night as the faint sounds of crickets echo around the partly green hills that surround the distant highway. Suddenly a pair of headlights light up the road as a car speeds through the open road, the rays from the rising moon reflect off its sleek surface. The silver tint windows showing nothing inside as the car hugs the road with the grace of a motor bike. We then hear a voice in the background, talking as if narrating a journal.

"June 23rd, 2012 after weeks of tracking down clues and following leads from reliable sources, we've finally managed to track down and capture the Woo killer. We are currently on our way towards the lone building of Arkham where Commissioner Casey awaits us. Personally I don't see the point of bringing him here when we can just kill him off. But madness like this is not something no one can understand nor can they comprehend. I just hope they keep him there for a long ass time, the public is much better off without nut jobs like him."

With that the car arrives at a large worn metal gate where an officer standing at the booth nods and opens the gate allowing the car to roll on through. After some more driving across the dead grass and twisted old trees which can be seen in the distance. The large building of Arkham would come into view, looking as imposing and creepy as ever, with metal bars surrounding the tightly shut windows and worn out walls offering no form of comfort or welcome. It is a place of pure madness where just calling it a nuthouse would be considered a huge understatement. The car would pull over around the curve where two large policemen wearing solid dark blue uniforms await followed by a slightly larger man standing in the center. The doors open up and from the driver's side we see a young man with silver white hair stretching down to his shoulders come into view. He's also wearing a blood red trench coat with the collar folded downward. He also has another shirt underneath the trench coat with three belts two strapped around the lower abdomen and one strapped upward to his chest. He's also wearing dark red leather cowboy style pants with a silver belt buckle strapped just under the third shirt belt. He is followed by another man wearing a black leather trench coat with similar designs only the trench coat is closed and thus you can't see his shirt underneath. There are two main differences between him and the guy in red and that one his hair is a short dreadlock style with the back portion slicked back and contains many colors. The second main difference is his entire face is composed of makeup with colors of green, blue and black. The two men approach the trio of cops with the 3rd man hidden in the shadows. He's clearly the superior due to the fact that both men in trench coats nod to him.

???: So you finally got him?

The man in red tilts his head to the side before speaking.

Man in red: Indeed chief, he's in the backseat.

The man in the middle gives the signal to the two officers and they walk towards the back seat of the car. One holds his baton in preparation while the other cautiously reaches for the handle of the door and gives a nod to his partner before swinging the door wide open. Both men reach in and violently pull a person out of the car and toss him a few feet on the dirt floor. One of cops closes the car door while the other grabs the man on the floor and yanks him to his feet. They both grab him by the arm as they drag him towards the building. From the light we can see a man dressed in a worn out purple ringmaster suit with many patches and holes. He's also wearing a worn out headband on his spiked hair and no makeup. His hands are bound by two sets of handcuffs followed by another set laced across his legs. The gaurds escort him through the large double doors where another guard sitting next to a desk and sorting out paper work greets them, ignoring the prisoner as he walks through. Here we see the three men stand in the center while the guards escort the other man away. The third man we can see has a very strong build with a thick mustache and spiked up blond hair. His outfit is similar to that of the Comedian from the Watchmen series: black body suit with a ammo belt strapped around his right shoulder and a smiley face on his left side. He's also wearing a belt buckle as well as black gloves and elbow pads. A large cigar lingers from the corner of his mouth and lets out a fine trail of smoke from the tip. He stands before the two trench coats with his arms folded.

Commissioner Casey: Well you boys did it again, didn't think you would be able to catch him but I was proved wrong.

Dante Isuma: Well sir that's what we're best known for is proving you wrong.

Virgil Jones: Yes sir indeed.

Commissioner Corey: Yeah yeah don't get all glory hound on me boys, let’s go see how our newest buddy is enjoying his home.

They walk past the security doors to the control room where they can see from the bulletproof glass that the guards are still escorting the new prisoner through the series of cells.

Guard 1: Keep moving!

He shoves the guy who then falls down; he lets out a chuckle as he turns to him with a mixture of a sneer and a smile.

Woo Killer: Now officer is that any way to treat your guest of honor?

He then lets out a insane laugh as the guy clearly has no time for his nonsense and grabs him roughly by the arms and pushes him forward some more. Meanwhile back in the control room, Dante and the others continue to look on.

Virgil Jones: Had to admit though, he made it a bit too easy for us.

Dante Isuma: I agree it was almost like he wanted to be captured.

Commissioner Casey: Well at least he's now back where he rightfully bel-

Before he could finish, the lights go out and after a few moments then they come back on. Once they do though the guards noticed that the prisoner had disappeared. They both look around the area but he was nowhere in sight.

Guard 2: What the hell?

Just then the Woo Killer having somehow freed himself from his bindings jumps into view and is armed with a cracked wooden baseball bat. He takes a massive downward swing right on the 2nd guard’s head sending him crumpling to the ground. The other guard tries to pull out the gun from his hoister but Woo Killer smacks his hand knocking the gun out of his grip. He then follows with a homerun swing that nails the guard right across the temple with a force great enough to break the bat in two. After observing the carnage he just caused, the Woo Killer laughs and runs like mad while the people in the control turn towards each other.

Commissioner Casey: Shit he's gotten loose!

Dante Isuma: I knew something was up, come on we have to get down there and find him!

Virgil Jones: Right behind you!

They sprinted out towards the lower levels and scale down the stairwell, pursuing their adversary.

Chapter 3: Doing a favor.

Location: Unknown Park.
Date: June 10th, 2012.
Time: Around 3:00 P.M

Me and Marley were walking down a park not very far from the Wells Fargo Center where the show had been held about a day ago. As with the compromise that I made with Hostyle Jones not too long ago, Marley now travels along with me. I figure her brother would be coming to her right now like he has for the past few weeks but it seems he trust me enough with her sister that he's more than willing to let her stay with me for awhile. This of course got my attention because I've always assumed that Marley lived with her brother or at least had a home of her own. Turned out she does live with her brother though, right now Hostyle said to me that it would be best that Marley stays with me at my place for awhile because of a growing issue he's having with his wife. On the plus side I didn't have to worry about dealing with his child which Marley always found funny when I told her I didn't know a damn thing about changing a baby's diaper. I've never thought about having children of my own though at some point I might consider it. I'm still at a very young age and having a child is considered to be alot of reasonability as I found out the hard way when Hostyle did that backstage promo with me holding on to his kid. It was still an embarrassing moment for me but I've gotten over it, it's another lifelong lesson that at some point I'm going to have to take to heart.

Yuko Isuma: So you're brother has promoted me from protector to caretaker, must be pretty bad over where he lives right now.

Marley Jones: Well ever since they had the baby, my brother and Chalida have been really going at it.

Yuko Isuma: Listen I know this isn’t really any of my business and I don't want to invade your privacy or anything but if you will I would like to ask a personal question.

Marley Jones: I don't mind, I trust you enough Yuko, you can ask me anything.

Yuko Isuma: Well I just don't wanna trouble you or anything but..........what can you tell me about Hostyle and Chalida?

Marley Jones: Well.......she loves him alot, I really don't know much since I never bothered to ask. I've always stayed away from their relationship but from what I understand my brother has been very edgy lately, more so than I've ever seen him.

She's right; I've noticed that Hostyle has been more unstable than usual. He does have a nice way of hiding it but lately even though he's been acting.........well normal heh, I can see it in his body language and his expressions. Something is bothering him, big time.

Then it just hit me and suddenly I stopped and Marley would look at me funny.

Marley Jones: Why did you stop?

Yuko Isuma: I forgot to call Hostyle, he's likely at home by now. Hang on this should only take a second or two.

I push the button and the screen on my phone lights up, I push menu and highlighted address book before confirming. From the long list of numbers I found Hostyle's and pressed call, sure enough the phone started ringing and then finally an answer. I assumed that Hostyle was on the other end and didn't wait for a confirmation.

Yuko Isuma: Hey Hostyle... where the hell are you at, man? I've been trying to get in touch with you since last night.

It's true, after the show I found Marley waiting for me at the locker room and expected Jones to be there as well but he wasn’t around. It was Marley who told me that Hostyle asked me to take Marley with me back to my place for a while until he could handle things on his end. I've been trying to call his cell a few times but found that it was pointless, me and Marley would take a stay at a local motel that night and spent most of the day just soaking in this........well new arrangement that Hostyle had made for me and Marley. It was completely out of the blue, just unexpected, I mean it's one thing when I have a title defense in less than a week but now I'm currently "babysitting" as well. Not that Marley needed it, she is old enough to take care of herself but without her brother she had no one else to go to and so out respect from Hostyle I decided to take her for the moment. I figured it was only going to be temporary and once Jones get's his shit together it would then be safe for her to go back to him.

It was a moment or so before me and Marley heard Hostyle's voice from the other end which made Marley more relaxed.

Hostyle Jones: Shit, I wish I could tell you man, say I was wondering if you like to do me another huge favor, Steel...

Another favor? He makes it sound like I'm doing this because I'm expected to get something in return. So far I've done more than my fair share of favors for Hostyle among them being finding out the truth about Cassidy Clay, saving his sister and now being her guard/caretaker. Hell since I’m going for a world record here why not just keep going? I figure I can do at least one more favor for Hostyle.

Yuko Isuma: Sure thing man, what you need?

Hostyle Jones: I need you look up the name Raymond Hagbar- back in the fifties!! This guy was a famous surgeon! See what he has to do with me; I got to get some shit straight before Ragnarok!! Call me back and let me know.

I was taken aback by this request, Raymond Hagbar? A famous surgeon from the 50's? I don't know what to make of this but I've decided not to give Hostyle any false hope. He's already an unstable wreck and the last thing I need right now is to give him an excuse to be anymore broken down than he already is.

Yuko Isuma: Don't worry Jones, I'm on it!

I hung up and just stood there for the longest time, and then Marley's voice just snapped me back.

Marley Jones: So is he alright?

I turn to her and gave the fakest smile I can muster.

Yuko Isuma: Oh he's just dandy Marley, just having one of his little moments is all, nothing to worry about.

I tried to sound convincing, I feel like a total ass right now.

Marley Jones: Well that's great.

She took it, hook line and sinker, I quietly let out a sigh of relief as I stretched out.

Yuko Isuma: So Marley, you wanna go see my house now? Since that's where you're going to be staying for next few weeks or so.

She seems unsure but really, what choice does she have? I didn't feel anymore comfortable about this than she is, her brother had just dropped a bombshell on his poor baby sister and now I have to watch over her. On one end it would allow us to get to know each other some more and plus I look forward to introducing her to Duke and Brian. But then I thought about Saki and Kirinka, what would they think? If they saw me with this girl? Would they think that I'm going against their back or something? I just shook the fear away, "don’t be ridiculous Yuko" I told myself "sure this seems like a big step after coming back from grieving for your dead girlfriend, but this is different because for one thing she is just a friend and nothing more". All this time I was thinking to myself and I wasn’t paying any attention to Marley who has remained quiet since I've asked.

Yuko Isuma: What's wrong Marley?

Marley Jones: You think I'm a burden to you Yuko? I mean I feel like I'm just using you or something. I've always relied on my brother but you've done so much for me. I don't want to get in the way or anything.

Yuko Isuma: You're no burden to me Marley, all I'm doing is helping out an old friend is it. Plus you're pretty cute and I think we might become to greatest of friends.

Marley Jones: *blushes a bit* you think so?

Yuko Isuma: *puts hands on her shoulders* I know so, now then let's get some passes and take the next flight to San Diego. I've got some things to do when I get back home, do you have your stuff with you?

Marley Jones: Yeah I didn't pack many clothes but I should have enough for a few days.

Yuko Isuma: That's fine, I'm going mall shopping anyway so you can join me.

Marley Jones: But I have very little money.

Yuko Isuma: Lady that's where I come in, don't worry I'll send the bill to your brother.

She then wrapped her arms around me and I just smiled and return the hug.

Marley Jones: You're so sweet Yuko, I think I really like you.

Yuko Isuma: Oh trust me; you won't be saying that for the next weeks, if anything you'll likely get sick of me after a month.

Marley Jones: Don't be silly, I'm sure you're full of surprises.

Am I ever, I've been pulling out all kinds of amazing feats in my time. I suppose "babysitting" this sexy gal may not be such a bad idea after all.

Yuko Isuma: Well what are we waiting for? Onward to home!

We walked together side by side into the afternoon light, the cool air flowing peacefully as the day was nearing its end.

*The Shoot*

This is it everyone, this is the moment everybody here has been waiting for.

You know those people out in the streets with those "The end is nigh" signs or those bible thumping preachers and their whole "repent for our time has come" nonsense? Well the end is here, Ragnarok has come at last and we're not talking about Harold Camping's "rapture" bullshit either. Tonight one man's life is about to be judged and his soul is going to a one-way ticket straight into the depths of the inferno, courtesy of yours truly the Steel Angel.

You know Chad you've tried so hard to distance yourself from your mentor Chuck and yet everything you've done so far is a rerun of Chuck Matthews. Everything from the shortcuts to the manipulations to using others as a means to get ahead. Yeah you've got a strong group of people behind you but we all know you're just bidding your time Chad. Nothing last forever and Natural Law will end up just like every other stable that has formed in this federation: Broken and disbanded.

I mean the only other group that I've seen being close to successful was Upper Limit and that was mainly because it was formed with some of the most active and well know people from the past federation before this one. However even that group started to collapse the moment it was formed when members turned on other members and eliminated the weak links in the chain. For awhile it worked and some sucess came from this alliance, Upper Limit won the High Impact title, the tag titles and of course the biggest prize of all, the Heavyweight title.

But once they had all the gold, that's when the cracks were really starting to form, it mostly began with James Shark turning his back on the group then Ruben and Brandon being forced into retirement until all that remained was Corey and Robbie. Even then those two tried to keep the group alive and well but then Corey had to step out of the ring to work on his other duties leaving Robbie to go solo.

Regardless though Upper Limit at its prime was a very successful stable and you Chad must have drawn inspiration from the success that was Upper Limit. You wanted to be like them in every way shape and form and when you finally came back at Isolation you put this new group on the map.

And so far it's already off to a decent start, despite you losing alot of members.

Beno has a shot at the Full Throttle belt, Rudy is going after the Queen of Wrestling title and then there's you who won a number one contender match with ALOT of help mind you.

Remember what I say before about what happens when you don't have anyone to depend on, when it's just you alone?

Well this week you're not gonna have a choice, you want this belt bad enough you'll have to face me alone inside a large metal structure where no one gets in and no one comes out.

It is here that I'm going to make you pay for all the misery that you've put me through these last few weeks. You might have cost me a win over the fake IWF champion but we all know who the true champion really is, it's me call it what you will but everyone knows that I've won that match fair and square. You just didn't make it happen and now you're going to pay for it, and I'll be sure to take it out of your hide.

You won't be able to run away from me this time Chad; you've dug your own grave when you decided to fuck with a man who should never be underestimated. I've beaten the best, I am the best, I have the win loss record to prove it and I have the skills and abilities to prove it.

You on the other hand, you've won your matches with tons of help from your buddies and while you've improved your skills since the last time you got fired from IWF, your skill still does not amount to what I bring to the table.

I've proved it many times before, and I will prove it again.

You're nothing compared to me, you've always been a loser your whole life and that's not going to change anytime soon.

I'll be sending you back into the bottom of the barrel where you rightfully belong.

Mason or Massacre? It's gonna be a massacre alright and I'm the executioner.
