Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Empty
PostSubject: Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery   Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery I_icon_minitimeTue Dec 11, 2012 9:28 pm

As Battlegrounds takes to the air we find most of The Empire seated in their plush, lavish private dressing room. Parker Wayde sits in a leather chair at the back corner of the room with the world title draped over the arm as he talks into what looks like the latest generation of an iPhone. Corey sits staring intently up at Isabella who is reading notes from an iPad as the two of them plan something; perhaps the direction of the evening’s show, or what plan The Empire will execute next. Philip Joseph and Storming Raven appear to be playing Madden on the 360 as Jack Savage and Baron Thompson throw the door open, laughing jovially as they talk enthusiastically about something they must’ve just seen recently.

Corey Casey
Hey, what the hell are you guys joking and laughing about so much?

Jack Savage
Oh, some dude was just tearing up the parking lot in a 442.

Baron Thompson
Yeah, that dude must’ve been going 100 miles an hour right up to and through the parking lot around the back. Guess he really knew how to handle it, though.

Corey size, rolling his eyes and turning back to Isabella.

Corey Casey
Just what we need, some jackass joyriding around…

A sudden look of horror crosses Corey Casey’s face as he turns to Jack and Baron he suddenly finds himself regarding them with renewed interest.

Corey Casey
Wait…did you guys say it was a 442?

Jack Savage
Yeah, 442.

Corey Casey
A 442? You mean as in an Oldsmobile 442?

Jack Savage
Yeah boss, an Oldsmobile 442.

Corey Casey suddenly stands up and crosses the room to where Jack and Baron have sat opposite ends of a couch. Corey props his foot up on the middle cushion and leans down towards Jack Savage, scrutinizing his personal enforcer very closely.

Corey Casey
Think, Jack; was it a '71, 442? Was it all black with chrome bumpers, tinted windows and red Tron racing stripes on the outsides and up the hood?

Jack shoots a look to Baron Thompson and then turns back to face his boss.

Jack Savage
Uh…I don’t know the year…but, uh, it was black with, like, red…like light-up stripes up the sides, yeah.

Corey Casey spares a glance over his shoulder to Isabella Sanchez, places his foot back on the floor and paces around the open floor area of The Empire’s dressing room. Savage and Thompson realize something is bothering him right away. Lya is the next to realize something is amiss. Parker hangs up his call and the other to pause their game of Madden, all turning to face Corey Casey.

Parker Wayde
Something bothering you boss?

Corey Casey
Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit… SHIT! It’s him!

Corey Casey turns on his heel and strides towards the door. He opens it and turns to face his troops.

Corey Casey
All right Savage you’re with me. Parker, you and Isabella stay here. Isabella, have security meet me at the loading bay ASAP! Everyone else, you make sure that son of a bitch doesn’t get in here and get his hands on Parker Wayde!

Corey takes off through the door with Jack Savage following closely behind. The two of them walk through the bowels of the Joe Louis Arena at a brisk jog. Jack Savage finds himself having to Sprint just to keep pace as Corey urgently negotiates the twists and turns. Jack tries to ask questions but Corey ignores them until they get to the main loading bay located at the back of Joe Louis Arena. Once they’re there, they stand behind and assembled rank of what must be two dozen IWF security personnel.

Jack Savage
Uh, boss why the hell are we here?

Corey Casey
He’s here. He actually showed up! I didn’t think he’d really show up! I just wanted to excuse to sue him for breach of contract!

Before Jack can get another question edgewise, 365 horses of Detroit power roar into earshot as a black-and-chrome-and-red piece of Detroit steel screeches sideways into the gigantic loading doors. The engine revs three or four times before the powerful automobile slowly inches towards the polo shirt wearing private army Corey Casey has assembled to meet it. The car idles for several seconds before the engine cuts off and the driver side door opens. Stygian slowly steps out of the automobile and leans against the roof of the car with what’s left of a bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label in his left hand. He takes a swig, eyeballing the 25-or-so men who would seek to block his path into the arena tonight.

Corey Casey
What the hell do you think you doing, Stygian?

Stygian
Apparently have a match tonight, Corey. Damnedest thing, the son of a bitch who booked it put it up first. It’s almost like…he didn’t want me to make it.

Corey Casey
You’re in no condition to be going to the ring tonight. You’re drunk, you’re out of your fucking mind and for your own fucking safety I’m not letting you go through the curtain.

Stygian
Now you’re suddenly worried about safety? IWF’s pet monster comes down to the ring last week; destroys my wife, destroys our lover and I don’t see a damn good and not one of your no-neck, earpiece-wearing goons turn up to stop him. Now suddenly I’m “too dangerous to go to the ring?” You didn’t care last week, you don’t really care now. I’m going to my fucking match.

Stygian ducks back into the car and revs it up once again. Corey Casey and Jack Savage exchange a look of horror as the 442 rumbles to life. The security guards stand their ground as the car shifts from park into first, but everyone is scrambling to get on the path of the Oldsmobile as the tires screech the vehicle lurches forward, speeding through the Joe Louis Arena and presumably towards the ringside area.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Bg2012
LIVE from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Joelouisarena

After the Battlegrounds theme, the camera fades in and the arena is jam-packed for this week’s edition of battlegrounds from Detroit, Michigan. Chris Wade is already waiting in the ring as the camera pans around to take in some of the crowd signs. However the cameras all soon focus on the entrance ramp as the hitherto seen black, chrome and red Oldsmobile 442 streaks through the entrance way down the ramp and skids to a stop just short of the mats protecting the outside of the ring.

Matt–Well…Stygian’s here.

Rick–I don't know what to expect. He suddenly arrived backstage, he has clearly been drinking and he nearly killed a small battalion of IWF security as well as Corey Casey and Jack Savage.

Matt–This is just bizarre, fans; I have no clue what to expect right now. This man is unhinged, he’s unstable; it’s probably understandable why he is, but he probably should not be competing here tonight. Just one week ago we watch Death Angel dismantle this man’s family will he was helplessly handcuffed in the corner.

Rick–And there is no telling just what the hell he’s going to do here tonight.

The 365 horsepower V8 engine idles roughly causing the whole car or shake, shaking as though it were breathing. As if the classic muscle car was some sort of predatory beast waiting to strike. But the engine soon does cut out, the driver side opens and Stygian steps out of the vehicle, still clutching that bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label. He’s not dressed to compete. He wears Wolverine Boots, blue jeans, a Black Lantern T-shirt and a black leather jacket with a gigantic red Superman patch on the back of it. Stygian paces around the ring as Chris Wade and the referee both examine him nervously. He walks over to the announce table and engages in a conversation with Matt Biggar and Rick Christian. The microphone can only pick up the conversation from the announcers side, and Matt is the only one who gets a chance to speak.

Matt–You’re going to leave the keys in the… And you want me to make sure Johnny Electric gets them? … Leave the keys in the glove box? … Nobody but Johnny touches your car; or you'll make what you did to Dan Alexander look like a game of two hand touch. … Yeah, got it. Styg, you’re not in your right mind man. Go home, take some time off. Sort out your personal problems before you come back here and try to be a competitor again.

Stygian just sort of shrugs and walks towards the ring. Both Chris Wade and the referee shake their heads his emotions like he’s going to get into the ring. They clearly do not want him anywhere near a fucking match tonight. However, Stygian reaches up, grabs the top rope to climbs all the way to the apron, then steps over the top rope and into the ring. The referee orders Chris Wade back to his corner and he tries to talk some sense into Stygian. Stygian unscrews the From the bottle of Black Label and tosses in and the crowd, pretending to listen to the referee as he takes a swig from the liquor. Stygian quickly decides he’s had enough of this bullshit, draws back his fist and nails the referee, knocking him out cold. He then proceeds to kick the referee until he rolls out of the ring. Stygian turns and fixes his gaze on Chris Wade, his perspective opponent for the evening.

Matt–Chris Wade needs to worry about getting out of the dam ring. He should just run. That is a very angry, very dangerous, very capable and very brutal man and I don’t think he’s in the mood fuck around.

Still drinking, Stygian walks across the ring to where his opponent, Chris Wade, is not entirely sure how we should proceed. Chris holds up his hands and tries to wave off Stygian as though he would just like to get out of the ring peacefully and amicably. Stygian listens to this for about 30 seconds before planting his left foot and raising his right sharply into Chris Wade’s crotch. Chris Wade doubles over immediately; Stygian tilts his head back and pours the contents of that Black Label directly down his throat without stopping. Stygian grabs Chris Wade by the hair, drags him out to mid-ring and forces them down to his knees without a whole lot of trouble, given the Chris Wade is still clutching his testicles tenderly. From there Stygian brandishes the empty bottle of Black Label. He bounces off the ropes and swings the empty bottle full-force into the face of Chris Wade, shattering it against his skull. Chris immediately slumps lifeless onto his side, as blood pours down from a very large gash on his four head.

Matt–Stygian has assaulted a referee and his opponent tonight.

Rick–This match is obviously not going to happen.

Matt–No shit! What was your first fucking clue? This was obviously too soon for Stygian to be back of the ring. Corey Casey booked him just to trigger some sort of an event. Well, he got what he wanted.

Rick–Can we get some help out here?

Help seems to be about his forthcoming this week is it was last week when Death Angel was preparing to brutalize Lilith and Lilah. Stygian drops to his back and rolls out of the ring on the side closest to his car, leaving a lifeless Chris Wade to bleed in the center of the ring. First, he unfurls the ring apron and digs fervently under it looking for something. He retrieves first one table, and the second.

Matt–Aw hell, Stygian is going for old reliable.

Rick–You notice how quickly he can stack those tables double?

Matt–Yeah, but I don’t think he’s going to find any barbed wire or gasoline tonight.

As Stygian rounds the car and unlocks the trunk, Matt Biggars realizes he spoke far too soon. Stygian first procures a pair of Kevlar-reinforced work gloves so he can handle the role of barbed wire he next grabs safely. While he’s here, he figures he might as well grab the can of gasoline as well. He makes his way to the double-stacked tables he’s just set up and sets the can of gasoline on the ring steps for now. He then goes to his usual ritual of bending and twisting the barb wire so that it sticks up sticks out in generally becomes an unpleasant place one would want to be thrown onto, before piling the whole thing atop the second table in a ghastly-looking configuration that will inflict the maximum damage when he does what he inevitably plans to do.

Stygian grabs the can of gasoline and climbs the steel steps crossing over to the ring apron where he stands directly above the barbed wire wrapped tables. He unscrews the lid from the can and dumps the contents onto the top table. Then he slips between the top and second rope and into the ring. Chris Wade is a lifeless mass as Stygian pulls them to his feet and whips them into the corner harshly. Stygian follows up with a needless clothesline, probably out of muscle memory. Chris Wade has the perseverance and endurance of a lobotomy victim as he slumps in the corner. Stygian climbs back out onto the ring apron, reaching into grasp Chris Wade by the throat and maneuver him to sit on the top turnbuckle. At the same time, he pulls a zippo out of his coat, flips it opened with one quick snap of his wrist and rolls the striker of the length of his denim-clad leg to ignite the flame. It’s a simple matter to toss the zippo so that it bounces over the gasoline-soaked table and ignites it, before bouncing off to wherever the hell it really wants to go, Stygian really doesn’t care. As the tables burned Stygian reaches back and grabs the lifeless Chris Wade pressing him high overhead. Stygian sidesteps carefully, still holding Chris Wade high above his head. When he’s sure he’s lined up with the table he leaps off and Baneblades him through the flaming structure and to the mats below. The crowd roars in approval at the bloodshed as Stygian extricates himself from the flaming wreckage. Chris Wade was motionless, wrapped in barb wire and surrounded by fire-scorched wreckage of what used to be a couple of tables.

Matt–Here comes IWF security.

Rick–Took them long enough! Stygian has assaulted an official, maybe killed a wrestler and totally destroyed her opening match.

Matt–Stygian is going back to his car.

Stygian reaches in the open passenger-side window, presumably to leave the keys in the glove box as he seemingly told Matt Biggars he would. He then lazily ambles along the side of the vehicle to the still-open trunk and reaches inside. IWF Security stops dead in its tracks as the 7 foot former World Champion produces a Louisville Slugger and appears ready to take on the challenge.

Matt–He can’t seriously be thinking about doing this, can he?

Rick–How the hell should I know? The man tried to run over the chairman of the board and his security force, then he came out here and played punch out on a referee before unceremoniously destroying the man who was supposed to be his opponent this evening. He’s snapped!

The security force makes the noble effort to try and talk Stygian down. Stygian wades in swinging. The first half-dozen or so do not last long, however a stream of more start slowly matriculating out from the back. Stygian start swinging his baseball bat around as though he were Link from Legend of Zelda.

Matt–Jesus Christ, Stygian has lost his freaking mind!

Rick–He’s playing whack-a-mole with IWF security. The bodies, he must’ve laid out about two dozen already!

Matt–And he’s not stopping! We need somebody out here who can handle this.

As if to answer the prayers of young Mr. Biggars, 10 Detroit policeman step in and out from the back with pistols drawn. Stygian pauses as Detroit’s finest appear with guns drawn and for second and actually looks like he’s thinking about it; his gaze shifting back and forth between the bat in the drawn pistols before he finally throws the lumber away. From there he’s actually pretty compliant. At their request he gets down on his knees, with his hands behind his head. They force him prone, pat him down and cuff him. After a protracted and intensive search Stygian is lifted to his feet and the police escort him from the arena as the show takes a commercial break.

Gordon Fury is seen walking down the hall after his match. He looks quite pleased, which is a change. This doesn't last however as he hears a voice from behind him.

?
Gordon Fury!

Gordon turns around and sighs as he sees Baron Thompson and Jack Savage approach.

Gordon Fury
Well if it isn't Corey Casey's bitch brigade. What can I do for you fellas?

Baron Thompson looks like he may retaliate to that, but Jack puts a hand on his chest and just smirks.

Jack Savage
You're making quite the impression for yourself, Mr. Fury. Very soon you could be one contender for the High Impact Title, and that is impressive for your short time in IWF. You did great things when you were with us before Fury, and limitless opportunities await you if you rejoin us. What do you say?

Gordon Fury
Listen Jack, I have said this I don't know how many times, but the only reason I joined The Empire was to get rid of Bad Company. I have no desire to be Corey's bitch, so sorry to say, but the answer is no.

Baron looks at Jack, then to Gordon.

Baron Thompson
Bummer.

Before Gordon can react Baron drives his fist into Gordon's stomach, causing Fury to keel over. Jack and Baron beat Gordon down, knocking him to the floor and kicking him repeatedly to the gut. Finally, they back away, leaving Gordon curled up on the floor, groaning in pain.

Jack Savage
I think, Mr. Fury...it would be in your best interests to reconsider our generous offer.

The show cuts back to ringside.

-------------------------------------------------------

Rick - And we're back!

Matt - With a double debut match!

Rick - Indeed, nothing like new talent to come in and show what they can do.

The arena lights dim down as purple lighting rises. Fog fills the entrance as the silhouette of a man can be seen through it. A few shots of gold pyro go off as Ashe Corvin steps out. He holds his arms out to accept the praise he KNOWS will becoming from the fans. Instead he stands there with a cock y smirk of his face as the fans pour hate onto him. He chuckles and shakes his head as he heads to the ring. He talks trash to the fans as he does. Once in the ring he stands dead center and once again raises his arms. As he stands with his arms outstreatched Purple Pyro erupts from the ring posts.

Heather Thompson - The following a double debut match set for one fall, introduing at this time from Los Angeles, California weighing 245 pounds Ashe Corvin!

Rick - I've heard many things about Ashe, has won many titles in his career and after a brief hiatus has return back to competing.

Matt - I'm glad he picked this place to start things off, always plenty of competition here in IWF.

"Not Afraid" plays throughout the pa system as the crowd boos the song, realziing who's coming. Eric Steel comes from the curtains, walking with a little swagger to his step. He smirks as he continue to stroll along with a chip on his shoulder. He walks up the stairs, raising his right arm in the air. He paces back and forth, waiitng for his opponent.

Heather Thompson - And from Toronto, Ontario, Canada weighing in at 232 pounds, Eric Steel!

Rick - Another guy who hopes to one day make it to the top.

Matt - With so much talent and so many new and returning athletes you know the ratings are gonna go thru the roof!

Rick - OH THE RATINGS!

The ref checks both men then calls for the bell.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Match
Double IWF Debut Match
Eric Steel [vs.] Ashe Corvin

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Eric Steel eyes Ashe Corvin down as Ashe diabolically paces a few steps toward him at the sound of the bell. Eric Steel then springs himself off of the ropes back first, coming forward like he slingshot. He charges at Ashe Corvin, who extends his arm for a clothesline. Eric Steel ducks under the clothesline, and bounces off of the opposite side of the ring ropes, coming toward Ashe Corvin once more. This time Ashe jumps forward when Eric Steel appoaches, and drops him to the mat with a shoulder block. Ashe Corvin rolls over to ropes and climbs quickly to his feet. Eric Steel climbs to his feet quickly an turns around, but as Eric turns around he is greeted with a knee to the ribs. Eric crunches his body in pain, and is drilled in the back by Ashe Corvins right elbow. Ashe Corvin then looks around the ring, and pushes Eric Steel to the ground.

Rick - I think that Ashe Corvin is trying to start this match out like a street fight.

Matt- What could be the approach he's going for though?

Ashe Corvin waits for Eric Steel to climb to his feet, slowly stalking behind him. Once Steel makes it to his feet, he is drilled back down to the ring mat with a bulldog. Ashe Corvin quickly rolls Eric Steel onto his stomach and begins to reign blows across Eric's face via his fist. After a few blows Ashe Corvin stands up. He then walks on Eric's chest as if to taunt him. Ashe then mocks Eric Steel as he stands him to his feet. Ashe grabs at Eric's wrist and attempts to irish whip Eric into the turnbuckle. Steel fights the momentum and counters with a neckbreaker. Eric Steel quickly makes it back to his feet as he begins to try and turn the tides to his favor. He springs himself against the ropes as Ashe climbs to a knee. As Ashe goes to come to a full stand, Eric Steel volts forward and jumps into the air dropkicking Ashe Corvin in his chin.

Matt - Now Ashe Corvin is down.

Rick - Let's see if Eric Steel can go to work and capitalize on this moment.

Eric Steel climbs the turnbuckle as Ashe Corvin rolls around on the ring mat still shaking off Eric's dropkick. Eric makes it to the top turnbuckle and then jumps, landing an elbow across Ashe's back, causing him to roll in pain more. Eric Steel takes a second to get back to his feet, and reaches at Ashe Corvins head in an attempt to pull him up. Eric is stopped by an elbow to the ribs. Eric holds at his gut as Ashe grabs him and locks him in powerbomb position. Corvin lifts Eric Steel up, and drills him to mat with a sit-out powerbomb. The King Of Darkness rolls Eric Steel off of him and then climbs to his feet. Eric slowly crawls to the corner in an attempt to use the turnbuckle as a crutch. Once again, Ashe Corvin stalks Eric like a predator. Eric makes it halfway to his feet, but is stopped by Corvin rushings forward and connecting a leaping splash into the corner. Eric drops down into the corner in pain as Ashe Corvin backs off. Ashe Corvin then runs forward with a knee, trying to smash it into Eric Steel's head. Steel rolls out of the ring at the last possible second, causing Corvin to smash his knee into the ring post.

Rick - That could have injured Ashe Corvin badly!

Matt - Yea, his knee could have possible damage from that.

Ashe Corvin drops to the ring mat, holding his knee. Eric uses this as the perfect time to capitalize and rolls into the ring. Eric Steel lifts Ashe Corvin to his feet and then chops him in the chest, causing him to slump against the ropes. Ashe Corvins bounces forward in Eric's direction. Eric then springboards from the opposite set of ropes, and jumps forward, trying to connect with one of his trademarked cutters. Ashe counters this and drops Eric Steel down to the mat with a sleeper slam. Both men lay on the mat as the ref begins to administer a count.

Ashe Corvin rolls over and drapes his arm across Eric Steel for the cover.

KICKOUT

Ashe Corvin rolls off of Eric Steel and begins to climb to his feet. Eric Steel on the other end of the ring makes it up to one knee. Ashe Corvin looks at Eric Steel and taunts him to stand up. Eric Steel begins to stand to his feet as Corvin paces toward him. Eric makes it to his feet, and Ashe Corvin sends a right hand in his direction. Eric ducks the right hand and then steps back for a moment and then flys forward with an extended leg connecting it right across Ashe Corvins chin. Ashe Corvin drops to ring mat as Eric Steel drops to his knees.

Rick - This could be it right here

Matt- I think he's too winded to make the cover though.

Eric Steel digs his fingers into mat as he slowly climbs over to Ashe Corvin. Eric extends his arm and drops for the cover, but Ashe Corvin plays a game of cat and mouse, rolling over onto his stomach at the last possible moment- denying the pinfall attempt. Eric draws an angry look across his face, as he stands to his feet and grabs Ashe Corvin by his shoulder. Eric Steel lifts Ashe Corvin to his feet. Eric Steel fires a knee at Ashe Corvins midsection, but the knee is blocked. Ashe Corvin then locks Eric Steel up and slams him to the mat with a belly to belly suplex. Ashe Corvin then rises to his knees and looks around the arena for a moment, before beginning to stand up.

Matt - I'll tell you what, both superstars look to be promising thus far.

Rick- This is the IWF baby, we have all the best scouted talent!

Ashe Corvin lifts Eric Steel to his feet, gripping underneath his armpit. Ashe pulls Eric Steel forward, locking him up in another belly to belly suplex position, but this time as Ashe lifts Eric Steel forces his weight to the mat causing Corvin to have a problem lifting him. Eric Steel jolts his head forward bashing his forehead into Ashe Corvin's chin, causing Ashe to release him. Ashe grips at his chin as Eric Steel kicks him in the ribs. Eric then runs forward bouncing off of the ring ropes and comes forward in Corvins direction. Eric Steel jumps into the air upon reaching Corvin, catching Ashe by his neck, exectuting a swinging neckbreaker. Eric Steel then rolls himself over onto his stomach and attempts to pin Ashe Corvin.

Ashe Corvin kicks out at the last possible second, causing Eric Steel to roll off of him in frustration. After looking at the referee for a moment, Eric Steel climbs to his feet and begins to pace toward Ashe Corvin who is beginning to brng himself to a knee. Eric Steel grabs Ashe by his head, escorting him to his feet. He then tosses Corvin against the ring ropes, causing Corvin to rebound back in his direction. Eric Steel ducks down for a back body drop and lifts Ashe Corvin over his head. Ashe Corvin manages to land on his feet and quickly spin around, locking him up from behind. Corvin lifts Eric Steel into the air and spins him to the mat, attempting to drop him to the canvas with the Decent Into Darkness. Eric gets out of it and waits for Ashe to turn around before leaping up and planting him with the Steel Cutter. Eric makes the cover.

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Heather Thompson - Here is your winner, Eric Steel!

Rick - You can't take nothing away from either of these guys.

Matt - You said it man, great match that could have gone either way.

Rick - Eric takes his first step tonight with a huge win, least see what he could do next week.

Eric poses around for a moment until we cut to backstage. Gordon is seen in his locker room taking the tape off his hands, he is obviously in pain.

Gordon Fury
Fucking cheap shotting pricks.

Suddenly Gordon's phone starts ringing. He picks it up and checks caller ID, but it says a private number. Gordon cautiously answers it.

Gordon Fury
Hello, Gordon speaking.

A voice is heard on the other end, but it's impossible to distinguish any words, or the person speaking them. Gordon's face is a mixture of confusion and anger.

Gordon Fury
What do YOU want?

The voice speaks again, again nothing is heard but gibberish.

Gordon Fury
Of course you saw me get jumped, everyone did.

More talking.

Gordon Fury
This conversation is over.

Just before Gordon goes to hang up, the voice utters another sentence which makes him hesitate. He continues to listen to the voice, before warily replying.

Gordon Fury
If you are on the level, this could work. How do I know I can trust you?

More talking.

Gordon Fury
Alright, if I do do this, I do it my way. You can give me your recommendations, but at the end of the day it's my choice. Got it?

The voice talks once more, and Gordon takes a deep breath before replying.

Gordon Fury
Yeh, I suppose we do have a deal. I'll talk to you soon.

Gordon hangs up before leaning back against a wall.

Gordon Fury
Fuck.

The cameras cut away as we take a break.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery How-to-draw-pikachu-gangnam-style-tutorial-drawing1
Oppa Pika Style!
-----------------------------------------------------------

The camera cuts back to the ring as Heather prepares to announce the next match.

Heather Thompson – The following contest is a #1 contenders match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, already In the ring, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 120 pounds... Blyss Lockhaaaaarrrrrrtt!

Blyss stands in a corner and stares down the ramp, waiting for her opponent.

Rick – Blyss sent one hell of a message last week, lets see if she can capitalise on it by becoming number one contender here tonight.

Matt – She has her work cut out for her Rick, Tiffani is pissed that she lost her title, and that attack last week could have been the straw that broke the camel's back.

The previously quiet fans get on their feet and cheer as the lights dim and "Hot As Ice" begins to play through the arena. Pink strobe lights dance across the stage until stopping at the entrance where Tiffani Michaels steps out from behind the curtains dressed in her Cheerios uniform. She holds two pom-poms in her hands and shakes them high above her head with a big smile on her face bringing out cheers from the crowd.

Heather Thompson – And the opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 116 pounds... Tiffani Miiiiichaellllllsss!

As soon as she locks eyes with Blyss her smile instantly disappears, and she drops her pom poms before sprinting towards and sliding into the ring. Blyss has no time to react and Tiffani charges her with a double leg takedown, before raining rights and lefts down onto her face, before the ref calls for the match to start.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Match
IWF Queen of Wrestling Championship #1 Contender’s Match
Blyss Lockhart [vs.] Tiffani Michaels

[Ding, Ding, Ding!]

Rick – Holy shit, Tiffani is not mucking around!

Blyss manages to get to the ropes and the ref is forced to brake Tiffani away from Blyss, but as soon as the ref moves, Tiffani charges Blyss again, this time planting her into the canvas with an implant hurricanrana. Tiffani then stalks Blyss as she rises, before springboarding off the ropes and cracking her dead on the chin with California Dreamin', sending Blyss crashing to the mat!

Rick – What a shot! California Dreaming connects!

Matt – This one is done Rick!

She goes for the cover.

-1-

-2-

-3-

[Ding, Ding, Ding!]

Rick – and with that Tiffani gains her rematch for the Queen of Wrestling title in dominant fashion!

Matt – Angelica Monroe is gonna have to watch her back, Tiffani isn't mucking around. “Hot as Ice” plays again as the ref raises Tiffani's hand, and her trademark smile once again grace her face as she seems to have gotten the aggressiveness out of her system. She climbs one of the turnbuckles and celebrates with the fans.

Rick – Wait what is this?

Matt – It's Angelica Monroe!

Angelica jumps the guard rail through the fans and quickly slides in the ring on the opposite side, the Queen of Wrestling title in hand. Blyss rises back to her feet just to take another shot on the chin as Angelica nails the Bad Connection!

Rick – Blyss just got drilled!

Matt – Tiffani has no idea!

Angelica gets behind Tiffani and grabs both of her ankles, yanking her off the turnbuckles sending her face smacking into the canvas. Angelica then stalk Tiffani as she gets up before charging at her and knocking her lights out with the title belt!

Rick – Angelica with yet another sneak attack!

Matt – She is determined to make it clear to everyone that she is dominant woman in IWF.

Rick – That may be true, but she will have to fight Tiffani face to face come New Years Evil.

Matt – That match is going to be a hate filled cat fight, with the title on the line, and I can't wait!

The fans boo Angelica as she stands above Tiffani with a smirk on her face, the Queen of Wrestling title raised high above her head. The camera's cut away as we take another break.

Heather Thompson - This match is set for one fall, introducing first already in the ring from Nashville Tn weighing 235 pounds, Chris Cane! And introducing his opponet of the evening.......

Remember the Name by Fort Minor plays as Philip Joseph walks in champagne bottle in one hand and a lovely looking girl in the other as he hands her the champagne then gets a kiss for good luck. He enters the ring and removes his shirt showing off his upper body as he waits for his opponet.

Heather Thompson - From Hollywood weighing 205 pounds, he is the Uprising Champion Philip Joseph!

Rick - I have a bad feeling about this match.

Matt - I agree I mean Chris is clearly not ready for prime time here.

The ref checks both men and signals for the bell.

Chris charges towards Philip who vaults over him and runs to the opposite side, Chris rebounds off the ropes and is met with a Phoenix Splash from Philip that flattens him.

And we're back and just before the next match starts, "Forget You" by Digital Summer plays as Ryan Apollos storms down the ramp and enters the ring. He snatches the mic from Heather and paces back and forth around the ring.

Ryan Apollos
Hey Grim Reaper guy! Yah you thought I forgot all about you? I ain't afraid of death, shit I've been through barb wire, electrocuted, through through metal, through tables and I'm still standing! I'm calling you out Death or Crim or whatever the fuck you call yourself. Come out here and face me like a man.....unless of course you don't got the balls when your foe can fight back!

A few moments go by without anything, then a gong goes off and lightning strikes the entrance ramp as the lights go out. They come back on and the Reaper appers clad in his black singlet and all, Ryan turns around and is met with a hard right to the face. Apollos however fights back with some shoots of his own but then gets grabbed by the throat, he manages to fight out of it and rolls out of the ring while holding his neck. He looks back at the reaper who with a wave of the hand, forms lightnting that hits the four corners and the lights go out once again, when they come back on the reaper is nowhere to be seen. Ryan retreats back to the ramp for now and Heather runs back into the ring with mic in hand.

Heather Thompson - Ahem.....the following contest is set for one fall!

Blind starts up as the light flash in time with the music, pyro goes off as the are you ready hits....the words FRANCHISE flashes across the screen as John Tolly makes his way down to the ring, he sneers at the crowd as he saunters down the ramp. As he slides into the ring before poseing in the ring

Heather Thompson - Making his way to the ring from Champaign weighing 240 pounds, John trolly.

Rick - John Trolly, set for action.

Matt - Against a crazy dude no less.

The lights darken in the arena as music can be heard

Mm-ma-ma mara
Mm-ma-ma-ma
Mm-ma-Mm mara
Mm-ma-Mm

Lights burst up as Sean Libby jumps onto the stage dancing and spinning and pointing at the moves the edges of the stage and points to the crowd

Heather Thompson - And his opponent...from Framingham Massachusetts...weighing 210 Pounds...Sean Libby!!

Rick- THA LIBBEH!

Matt- The Libby has been on a roll lately.

Rick - Let's see what he can do against a man like Trolly.

Mm-ma-ma mara
Mm-ma-ma-ma
Mm-ma-Mm mara
Mm-ma-Mm
Ma-ma-ma

Sean dances down the ramp and dances in front of the camera and sings the song aswell-

Taken pictures with hotties

Sean pulls cash from his tights

Spending mo-mo more money

Sean throws it to the crowd and spins around and dances more

If you want it so badly
Then why didn't you say so, lady?
You'll be hurt if you kiss me

Sean smooches to the crowd

You gotta gotta believe me
But if you want it so badly
Then why didn't you say so, lady?

Sean gets to the ring mat and dances forward and backward

And If you'd wanna take it back
You don't wanna take it back
You don't wanna take it back, my love

Sean moves up the steel steps

Don't you wanna love?
Babe, you don't wanna take it back
Don't wanna take it back

Sean gets in the ring and moon walks

Back, back, back
They call me Crazy Looooooooop

Sean spins and dances in the ring

Gotta be Crazy Looooooooop

Sean bounces on the ropes

Gotta get a life
Oh mom I've tried
Gotta gotta be lonely-lon-lon-lon

Sean starts to take his jacket off slowly

They call me Crazy Looooooop

Sean opens the jacket and shows a oiled and six pack chest and throws the jacket away and unbuckles his leather belt

Gotta be Crazy Looooooop
Gotta get a life

Sean rips the pants off and shows his small wrestling tights and rocks his body with his hands on his head as women can be heard whistling and cheering

Oh mom I've tried
Gotta gotta be lonely-lon-lon-lon
Mm-ma-ma mara

Sean turns to his opponent holding his hands out to bright it on.

The ref checks on both men and calls for the bell.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Match
John Tolly [vs.] Sean Libby

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Sean dances to the center of the ring and does a little jiggy jig, John gets really annoyed by this and tackles Sean to the ground and starts raining left and rights on his head. Sean tries to cover up as best as he can as John keeps pounding him, John gets back up and taunts to the crowd.

Rick - John not amused by Sean's antics.

Matt - He shoulden't have turned his back on him though.

John keeps taunting, then he turns around....right into a superkick that catches him in the jaw.

Rick - Libby's Shot!

Matt - You should have stayed on him Trolly!

Sean makes the cover as the ref drops down for the pin.

[Ding Ding Ding]

Heather Thompson - Here's your winner Sean Lib-

Just before she could finish her sentence, John gets right back up and knocks Sean to the floor with a clothesline.

Rick - John is furious!

Matt - Well it was his fault for taking his eye off the ball!

John drops down and starts pounding on Sean with knees to the back of the skull followed by a few elbow drops. He shouts for Sean to get back up and runs towards him and spikes him straight down with the flowing ddt.

Rick - Champiagn Dream! Good night Sean Libby!

Matt - Well at least John got some closure in the end.

John points at Sean who is out cold, constently screaming "I'm better than you!" He slaps Libby's face though of course Libby dosen't feel it, out cold and all. John finally has enough and leaves the ring, the camera centers on Sean for a moment before we cut to commercial.

Death Angel: "I'm going to eat you!"
-----------------------------------------------------------

Rick - And we're back!

Matt - And what a match we have tonight!

Rick - Devlin vs. Gordon, if Gordon wins here he will be one step closer to earning a shot at the High Impact title.

Matt - Not unless Devlin beats him tonight.

The camera pans over to Heather Thompson for the announcments but before she does.....

The lights fade out as the sound of a bell tower rings throughout the arena, a few more moments fly by before...

"Unleash the warrior within!"

Pyro sets off from both sides on the entrance ramp in the form of a pair of angel wings with the words "Heaven's Gladiator" appearing in crystal blue letters on the titantron. A single platform can be seen being lowered at the ramp revealing Steel Angel and Marley Jones standing at the center. Steel Angel is wearing a white and blue warrior tunic with angel designs decorated on the back and a gold cross shape tapestry on the front. Marley is wearing a light blue warrior tunic with feathers decorated on it and long leather boots. Steel's long black hair flows in the air as he stares at the crowd before him.

They fall in line, one at a time
Ready to play
(I can't see them anyway)
No time to lose, we've got to move
Steady your helm
(I am losing sight again)

Steel Angel and Marley jump off the platform and they both bow before fans as they shower them in cheers. Steel Angel then walks slowly towards the ring every step with purpose, every movement loose and flowing while Marley holds his arm following his every move.

Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)

After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

Steel Angel then stops at the end of the ramp where he brings his hands together with the middle and index fingers joining together pointing straight out with the other fingers curled together overlapping one another. He then moves
his hands while in this symbol up, down, left and then right in the form of a cross before bringing both middle and index fingers to his lips and kisses them. He then separates his hands as he points to the sky unleashing blue pyro from the entrance ramp.

Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am the shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all

Steel Angel then walks around the ring slapping high fives with some of the fans before climbing through the second rope and enters the ring. Marley walks to one side and claps with the fans as she watches him.

There's nothing left, so save your breath
Lying in wait
(Caught inside this tidal wave)
Your cover's blown, no where to go
Holding your fate
(Loaded I will walk alone)

He smiles as looks around the ring, he then poses which causes the fans to cheer some more.

Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)

He then removes the tunic and takes it off showing his ripped features to the ladies in attendance some of whom scream in delight before he hands it to Marley. He is also wearing gold karate style pants with white flame like designs on the ankles and the words "Steel Angel" written in black latin like writing on the sides.

After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

He then moves to the center of the ring and forms the same hand gesture he did at the end of the entrance ramp. This time as he ends the gesture by pointing to the sky that white pyro erupts from the corners.

Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am the shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all

Wanted it back
(Don't fight me now!)

Rick - Steel Angel!?

Matt - The High Impact champion is in the house!

Steel enters the ring and helps Marley through the second rope, he extends his hand to Heather asking for the mic. She hands it to him and wonders around while the crowd cheers.

Rick - Looks like we're gonna hear from him.

Matt - Well he made this challenge Rick, makes sense that he would be out here perhaps taking notes.

Steel Angel
Hello everyone in attendance, how you all holding up?

The crowd cheers in response.

Steel Angel
Good good listen I know the two boys in the back are waiting so I'll make this quick. I stated before when I made this series that the first match would be a normal one. Every match afterwards would have a stipulation added by me.

Rick - That's true, he did state that.

Matt - So what's the stipulation?

Steel Angel
Good question Matt, I've actully been thinking about it. Then it hit me, I recalled those few times when I was in the ring with a guest ref and that always puts pressure on me because I don't know if they will work with me or against me. Well tonight........

He extends his arms out and Marley from behind moves in to discard his tunic, revealing the zebra stripe shirt to the enjoyment of the crowd.

Rick - Uh oh.....

Matt - Ahah I love it!

Steel Angel
I get to be the guest ref for tonight's match, don't worry I'll be sure to call it right down the middle.

He hands the mic back and rolls outside to grab a metal chair and slides it back into the ring. He props it up and sits down at the very end of the ring behind the announce table. He motions to Marley and she sits down on his lap as he wraps his arms around her waist while Heather does the announcement.

Static burst on the Screen , the lights go out an a spotlight forms on Devlin as he slowly strolls out to the chords of "Omen" Looking about the arena with a smile as he then bounces down the arena and then picks up the pace, sunglasses and jacket coming off as the lights raise and he salutes the crowd, sliding easily under the bottom rope and preparing for his opponent after heading atop a turnbuckle and giving the crowd another salute , a foot sliding across him in the middle of the ring as if saying "Here's the line, Come cross it"

Heather Thompson - This is a best of three match series match set for one fall, introducing first from Chiago, Illinois weighing in at 235 pounds......Devlin Raine!

Rick - Devlin has got to be feeling the pressure Matt, for him this is his last chance.

Matt - He's got his back against the wall Rick, if he dosen't find a way to win this match he could forget going to New Years Evil.

Heather Thompson - And the opponet......

The opening riffs of “Is This Real” by Saosin blasts through the arena, causing the fans get on their feet

Time's runnin' out and I have been betrayed
Gotta cast my stone into the lake (it didn't work, I didn't feel it sink in)

Gordon Fury bursts through the curtain to the cheers of the fans, the hood of his Jacket half covering his face. He riles up the fans before throwing his hood back.

That's all it takes my son then you are safe
When the end comes, everything's okay (we take it back, you take it away)

He quickly darts down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. He then waits as the bottom of the steel steps.

Take my skin, we're diving in
It doesn't make a difference if I sink or swim
Theres a line drawn thin or so they tell me
I'll never know the difference if we..sink or swim!

Gordon quickly climbs the steps and enters the ring, immediately climbing the nearest turnbuckle, before taking of his hoodie and throwing it into the crowd, causing them to react even more. He then jumps off and run to the opposite corner, climbing that turnbuckle and riling up the fans.

Is it real, the choices that we make (is it real)
The smiles that we fake (is it real)
I know it hurts but is it real
The choices that we make
The smiles that we fake for my own sake
I know it hurts but is it...

Gordon jumps off the turnbuckle and waits in the corner as the song fades out.

Heather Thompson - From Mackay, Australia weighing in at 210 pounds......Gordon Fury!

Rick - Gordon's got a huge chance to seal the deal here tonight.

Matt - He's already won the first round of the series, now he's aiming to make it 2-0 right here.

Rick - Remember if he wins, he will only need one more win to earn the shot at Steel's belt at the Pay Per View.

Steel and Marley get out of the chair they were sitting in and Marley excuses herself as she heads outside while Steel slides the chair out. He stands in the center and points to both men and then points to the bell keeper, asking him to ring it.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Match
Best of three match series with the winner of the series earning a shot at the High Impact Title at NYE

Gordon Fury [vs.] Devlin Raine

[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

Steel watches on as Gordon and Devlin circle each other in the ring. Gordon shoots in, taking Devlin to the mat. Gordon immediately rolls over Devlin and runs to the ropes. He springboards off, backflipping and landing across Devlin's chest. He goes for a quick cover.

-1-
-2-

Devlin gets his shoulder up.

Rick - That seem a little quick to you didn't it?

Matt - I was thinking the same thing. To be fair though Steel has fast reflexes.

Gordon lifts Devlin to his feet, but Devlin shoves him away. He charges and leaps in the air, looking for a hurricanrana. Gordon manages to catch Devlin and powerbomb him back to the mat.

Matt - Quick thinking by Gordon Fury.

Devlin gets to a standing position. He turns towards Gordon. Gordon kicks him in the gut and throws him into the corner. He charges after him. Devlin manages to get his boots up, kicking Gordon to the face. Gordon stumbles out of the corner. Devlin walks up behind him, and grabs his waist, looking for a takedown. Gordon grabs Devlin by the arm and breaks free of the hold. He spins around Devlin, and takes him to the mat, still holding his arm. He twists Devlin's arm and cranks back on the face, locking in the Fury Vice.

Rick - Fury Vice locked in!

Matt - Devlin's gotta tap!

Devlin reaches desperately for the ropes. He struggles to scoot forward, reaching. Gordon cranks back farther. Devlin slaps the mat once, using his arm to try and pull himself closer to the ropes. He reaches out again, but misses the rope, his arm falling to the mat. Steel looks carefully at Devlin's arm assuming he's tapping and calls for the bell.

Rick - What?

[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

Steel moves over to Heather and talks to her while making a tapping motion with his wrist.

Heather Thompson - ...I'm being told that your winner, by way of submission....is GORDON FURY!!!

Devlin gets to his feet, screaming at Steel. Steel signals a tapping motion, and Devlin argues, pointing furiously at the ropes.

Rick - Devlin looks livid!

Matt - He's saying he didn't tap out! Steel thinks he did though. Steel Angel may have screwed Devlin Raine!

Rick - Perhaps but this is the second victory for Gordon, which means that Gordon needs one more won to be the new Number One Contender for Steel's championship.

Steel and Devlin keep arguing, Steel gives up and shrugs as he rolls out of the ring while Gordon plays to the crowd while standing on one of the turnbuckles. Steel grabs his belt and Marley's hand as they leave while Devlin stares a hole at him, we fade to commersial.

We return backstage where Corey Casey us seen walking through the parking lot, he sees a forklift and a heavy box filled with staging equipment. He smiles and climbs onboard the forklift and a few moments later the engine comes to life and Corey drives the forklift with the heavy box over to where Stygian's locker room door is located. He lowers the lift with the box and drives it against the door. He parks it and gets out, taking a moment to admire his handy work, he walks away as we return to Rick and Matt on commentary.

Rick - Well that's one way to keep Stygian out.

Matt - To be fair Stygian is out of control, can't blame the guy for it though.

Rick - Never the less we have a match featuring Savage and the Legend Slayer Ryan Apollos.

Heather Thompson - The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

The sound of static can be heard and then it cuts to

Am I going insane?
My blood is boiling inside my veins
An evil felling attacks
My body's shaking there's no turning to black
As you eyes start to blister
There's just nope for our final embrace

Howard Harvard steeps out on stage wearing a suit turns around points to the curtain as Jack Savage and Kelly Savage emerge from behind it. As Jack droops down to one knee the Kelly stands to his right side and runs her hands up down Jack's body.

Heather Thompson - Entering the ring right now..from the Hollywood Hills of California..weighing 230 Pounds..Jack Savage!

So here we are...
I'm in your head..
I'm in your heart!

Noah Philips steeps out on the stage wearing a suit and holding a silver Halliburton briefcase and stands behind Jack and Kelly.

You were told to run away
Soak the place, and light the flame
Pay the price for your betrayal
You betrayal, your betrayal!

Jack Savage stands up and Howard Harvard slowly leads the group to the ring.

I was told to stay away
Those two word I can't obey
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal!

As they group gets to the ringside Noah Philips and Howard Harvard both go over to the steeps. Howard Harvard goes up them first and is fallowed by Noah. Jack stands still as Kelly again runs her hand up and down his body.

Is it my turn to die?
My heart is pounding as I say goodbye
So now I dance in the flames
I love you crying and screaming my name

Jack stands there smiling from ear to ear. As Noah and Howard both enter the ring and point down to Jack and Kelly Savage.

You said that we'd be forever
How could you kill me and lie to my face?
Now that we can't be together
There is no hope for our final embrace
So here we are, I'm in your head
I'm in your heart!!!

Jack and Kelly both slowly make there way over to the steeps and Kelly goes up them first fallowed closely by Jack. As the reach the top Jack out stretches his arms. Kelly walks over and opens the ropes and waits for Jack.

You were told to run away
Soak the place, and light a flame
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal!

Jack walks over to the ropes that are being held open for him by Kelly as he enters he kiss her deeply and passionately on the mouth.

I was told to stay away
Those two words I can't obey
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal!!

Jack walks over to the right turnbuckle closest to the entrance ramp and points to himself.

GO!!

Jack smiles from ear to ear. As he droops down from the turnbuckle.

The lights shut off as Forget You by Digital Summer begins to play. After the intro plays pyro explodes from the stage.

Now that I’m sober,
I’m finally making up my mind,
I can see who you really are,
How the hell could I’ve been so blind?

Ryan Apollos walks out on the stage and stares out at the crowd before slowly walking down the ramp.

Heather Thompson - And his opponent..from Milwaukee Wisconsin...weighing 250 Pounds...Ryan Apollos!

You think you’re so fucking innocent,
You think you’re so fucking innocent.

Shut your mouth, I’m done listening to you,
It’s over, it’s over, I’ve had enough with you.
I’m taking back the person that I used to be,
For all these scars before your lies,
So fuck you, forget you, good bye.
Good bye.

Apollos stops at the bottom of the ramp and stares at the ring before walking over to the ring steps.

Take a swing, I’ll tell you,
But you better be prepared,
There’s no telling what the hell I’m up to,
I’m at the point that I just don’t care.

Ryan enters the ring and circles the ring before climbing the turnbuckle and stares out at the crowd before getting off the turnbuckle as the music fades.

Ref checks on the two then calls for the bell.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Match
Ryan Apollos [vs.] Jack Savage

[Ding Ding Ding!]

The bell has rung as the two stand nose to nose trash talking one another. Savage pie faces Apollos and we're officially set! Apollos hits Savage with a kick to the mid section and begins hammering on him into the corner. The referee has to pull him out of there, but as he does so, Savage hits him right over the referee's back with a quick punch. Savage takes the advantage by running at him with a Clothesline! He picks up Apollos and runs him against the ropes and connects with a high back body drop! Apollos is up and walks right into a right hand by Savage.

Apollos' bell is rung, but he fights through it as he is thrown into the corner. Savage charges at him, but Apollos gets out of the way and Savage gets nothing but buckles. Apollos takes advantage as he kicks Savage and hits him with a swinging neckbreaker! He then runs the ropes and hits a running legdrop! He does it once more and connects. He picks up Savage and throws him into the corner turnbuckle. He then gets on the ropes and begins punching him ten times. After he gets down, Savage stumbles dazed out of the corner as Apollos connects with a STO!

Rick - Apollos has had a string of bad luck tonight..a win tonight will get him in the right direction!

Matt - I wouldn't look past Jack Savage, he doesn't mess around!

He grabs Savage and goes for a Suplex, but he blocks it. He tries once more, but once again its blocked. Savage turns it into a Suplex of his own, taking him down. He waits for Apollos to get up and hits him with a Bicycle Kick! He goes for a quick cover. 1...2...Apollos kicks out! Looking to cause some more damage, he runs him against the ropes and hits a Spinebuster! He grabs him and picks him up, going for a running powerslam, but Apollos is able to slip out of it and pushes him into the buckles chest first. Apollos runs the ropes and catches him with a diving clothesline! He hits a Scoop Slam onto Savage and connects with an Elbow Drop. Looking to end this match by submission, he clamps on a half Boston Crab. Savage looks like he's in so much pain as he's trying hard not to submit. He begins crawling until he grabs the bottom rope. Apollos has no choice but to let go.

He drags him out of the corner and goes to lock it on once more, but Savage rolls him up for a small package!

1..

2..

Savage gets out just in time. Apollos runs at Savage, but is hit with a straight clothesline. As he's down he connects with a fist drop right across the forehead. Apollos rolls out of the ring, but Savage follows him. He grabs him and throws him shoulder first into the steel steps. He then shouts at the camera man to get out of the way and chokes Apollos with a Television cable. The referee warns him to stop or he will disqualify him. He lets go of Apollos and throws him back into the ring. He chokes Apollos on the ring rope as the referee starts a 5 count. He lets go and grabs Apollos and hits a stalling Suplex.

Rick - Savage is aggressive tonight!

Matt - He's Champion for a reason!

Apollos is in trouble as Savage locks on a Sleeper Hold. He looks to be fading as the referee begins raising his hand once. Nothing. He does it once more, Apollos isn't showing any signs. He goes for it a second time, but this time Apollos doesn't let it drop. As if he has a new life, he begins getting up much to the shock of Savage. He elbows him in the mid section and then runs and connects with a knee right to the temple! Savage is dazed as he tries to get up. As he does he walks right into a Superkick! Apollos immediately goes for a cover.

-1-

-2-

Savage has his foot on the bottom rope! Apollos is frustrated! He grabs Savage and goes for an F5, but Savage slips out of it and lands in the back of Apollos and hits a Back Stabber! He gets up and grabs Apollos and connects with a Belly to Belly Suplex. He drapes an arm over him. 1...2...Apollos gets the Shoulder up! Savage can't believe that he is still in this. He places Apollos on the top rope and goes for a Superplex, but Apollos fights his way out of it. Getting up on the ropes, he connects with an amazing Powerbomb off the Top Rope!

Rick - Oh My God!

Both competitors are down in the ring as the referee begins a 10 count. But up the ramp comes John Tolly.

Rick - What the hell is he doing here?!

He slowly walks down the ramp as the two are still down in the ring. Apollos begins showing signs of life as he crawls over to Savage. He places an arm over him. 1.....2...Savage barely gets the shoulder up just in time. Apollos gets up, waiting for Savage to turn around and goes for the Silencer, but Savage counters it with A DDT! Savage quickly hooks the leg. 1...2...Apollos kicks out! Savage runs Apollos to the ropes, but he comes at him with a diving elbow to the face! Apollos slaps his legs, looking to connect with the S.U.B. But John Tolly slides in and hits him with the big boot just in time for the referee to turn around. He then calls for the bell.

Heather Thompson - Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match as a result of a Disqualification...Ryan Apollos!

Rick - What the hell was Tolly thinking! He did a stupid move that got Savage disqualified!

Matt - I guess he was trying to help, but it backfired!

Savage and Tolly are arguing, he keeps shouting at him that he had this match well in hand while Tolly explains that he was trying to help him. Savage looks extremely frustrated as Tolly keeps trying to explain himself. Tolly extends his hand, wanting to team with him again, but Savage slaps it yelling "The hell with you!" as he walks away from him, leaving him in the ring alone, we take a break.

---------------------------------------------------

We return back to the action as Alexander Raven's music plays.

“I’m a mess
That's the best way to describe it
Having no time to myself is the only way I can fight it
When I'm alone it's like I'm staring into a mirror
Don't know the person inside it and that's never been any clearer.”

Heather Thompson - This next matchup is scheduled for one fall, and it is a triple threat match. Indroducing first from Salem, Oregon, weighing in at 189.2 pounds... Alexander Raaavvvvvveeeeeeeen!!!

Alex exploded out from behind the curtain arms swung out wide to his sides, a cocky grin spread across his face. His head bobbing slightly with a slight bounce as he takes a few slow dramatic steps forward, his arms slowly lowering to himself, the grin slowly fading into a smug look upon his face. Placing his hands on his hips he stood at the top of the ramp, and gazed over the popping crowd, the boos and remarks towards him causing a cocky anger to blaze across his eyes.

“I miss your family and I miss all our friends
If you had it to do over would you do it over again,
Cause I would, this meant something more to me
There's a hole in my heart where you used to be
I still wish you the best of luck, baby
And don't go thinking this was a waste of time
I couldn't forget you if I tried”

Raven would jog into the face of the crowd on the left side of the ramp, snarling and growling into the faces of the crowd, slapping hands down and back, and allowing saliva to spew from his mouth, spittle flying from his mouth as nods his head up and down roughly, bouncing as he goes down the length of the left side of the aisle, running over to right side and doing the same, before collapsing down onto his knees in the middle of the ramp, stretching his arms to the roof.

“You killed what was left of the good in me
I'm tired so let me be broken
Look down at the mess that's in front of me
No other words need be spoken
And I've got nobody else to blame though I tried
Kept all of our past mistakes held inside
I’ll live with regret for my whole life”

Alex clutched at his chest and flicked his head back. He then moved to place his hands on his head, rubbing the back of skull over and over, breathing out heavily, his chest raising and dropping with each heavy exaggerated breath. As soon as the word ‘no’ escapes the speakers he thrusts himself onto his feet and sprints at the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and into the ring, rolling up onto his feet, swinging his arms out to the side. The cocky, angry grin spreads across his lips.

“I confess that I brought this all on myself
Condemned to suffer alone, like there's nobody else
When you're gone, it's like a whole part of me’s missing
So I'll keep living the lie and just hope that you're listening
I tried to make us a life here
But our foundation was built on sand
No time to run until the damage was done
And I’ve never had the upper hand”

Raven would leap up onto the top right turnbuckle and looking over the crowd, grinning brightly shaking his head a little. Falling off the turnbuckle he bounced on his feet a few times as the music begins to fade away.

Heather Thompson- ...and his opponent- from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 235 pounds... Johnnnnnnnnyyyyy Cage!!

The lights dim as "Prepare Yourself" by the Immortals begins to play. The stage light reveal a swirl of greens and blues, as Johnny Cage and Becky Valiant come out from behind the curtain. Cage walks down, wearing his sunglasses and a serious demeanor. Becky walks down grinning and getting the crowd pumped up.

When they reach the ring, Cage jogs up the ring steps and walks halfway down the apron. He finally grins at the audience and a smirk crosses his face as he hops into the ring between the second and top rope. Johnny then holds the second and bottom rope for Becky, as she then enters the ring.

Johnny Cage goes over to the ropes and pulls down on the top rope, stretching out. Becky continues to amp out the crowd, showcasing Johnny Cage.

Heather Thompson- ... and their opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Marley Jones, he is the High Impact Champion, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 220 pounds... Steel Angel

He then tilts his head from side to side and he gets ready for his match.

Ref checks on all three men before calling the bell

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Match
Alexander Raven vs. Johnny Cage vs. Steel Angel w/Marley Jones

[Ding Ding Ding!]

As the bell rings, all three IWF superstars begin to pace toward each other in the ring. Alexander Raven and Johnny Cage look at one another for a moment, and then both charge at Steel Angel. Steel Angel extends both of his arms outward and derails both Cage and Raven with a double clothesline sending them down to the ring mat. Steel Angel then looks at Alexander Raven, and then Johnny Cage who is starting to attempt a climb to his feet. Steel Angel runs forward and executes a baseball slide, connecting with Johnny's chin, causing him to drop once more. Steel Angel then does a roll across the ring mat springing to his feet. As Steel gets to his feet, Alexander Raven stands to his. Steel Angel hops into the air, and dropkicks Raven in his chest. Steel Angel looks around as the IWF audience is one their feet.

Rick- Steel Angel setting the tone early and showing IWF exactly why he is the High Impact Champion!

Matt- You're right man Steel Angel is a IWF vet and he seems like he's out to show us exactly why!

Steel Angel grabs Alexander Raven by his shoulder and picks him up off of the ring mat. Steel then sends Alexander flying into the turnbuckle shoulder first. Alexander Raven remains shoulder against the turnbuckle, as he screams in pain. Steel Angel continues the pace and charges forward running up Ravens back. Steel then steps to the top of the turnbuckle and executes a asai moonsault over Alexander Raven connecting on a groggy, half-standing Johnny Cage. Steel Angel then reaches over after both men hit the mat in a loose pin attempt.

KICKOUT

Steel Angel rolls over laying back first on the mat for a moment and then climbs to his feet. At this point, Alexander Raven has started to recover from the impact to the turnbuckle. Alexander stretches his shoulder, beginning to get some rhythem as he turns around. Steel Angel notices this and then runs forward with a clothesline. At the last possible moment Alexander ducks Steels arm and drops him to the mat with a countering neckbreaker. Alexander then rolls onto his stomach and begins to dig his hands into ring mat, lifting himself to his feet. As he lifts himself to a full stand, Johnny Cage has recovered, and connects a roundhouse kick to the side of Alexander Ravens head. Raven drops to the mat with tremendous impact.

Matt- That could have knocked Alexander Raven out cold!

Rick - Johnny Cage could steal this one if he can recover and make the cover quickly!

Johnny Cage crawls over a short distance and puts his arm across Alexander Raven's chest. The referee drops to make the count, but Steel Angel has already jumped in out of nowhere, dropping an elbow across the back of Johnny Cage. Steel Angel then climbs to his feet, lifting Johnny Cage up with him as he does so. Once they both make it to a stand, Steel Angel whips Johnny Cage into the ring ropes, causing him to rebound back into his direction. As Johnny Cage approaches, Steel Angel jumps into the air, his arm around Johnny Cage's head. Steel Angel twists around as he crashes Johnny Cage head first into the mat with a tornado DDT. As this happens, Alexander Raven finally recovers and begins to climb to his feet. Alexander attempts to put Steel Angels head between his legs in powerbomb position. Steel Angel fends him off pushing him against the ropes. Alexander Raven springs forward off of the ropes and lunges forward with a shoulder block knocking Steel Angel to the mat. All three men slowly begin to climb to their feet.

Rick - Even though Steel Angel has seemed dominant, it's seems it's still too early to call it.

Matt - It would appear so...

The crowd gets behind Steel Angel, going into an uproar motivating him to make it to his feet before the other two competitors. Steel waves Johnny Cage on as he makes it to his feet. Steel Angel kicks Johnny Cage in his mid-section, and then forcefully stuffs his head between his legs. Steel Angel lifts Johnny Cage into the air in a cradle piledriver position, and then spikes Johnny's head into the ring mat with The Last Rites causing Johnny Cage to bounce for a moment from the canvas and land on his stomach. As Steel Angel climbs to his feet, Alexander Raven runs toward Steel Angel. At the last possible moment, Steel Angeln does a slight duck, and lifts Alexander Raven into a military press slam position. The fans begin to ralley as Steel Angel then drops Alexander to the mat with the Divine Cutter.

Matt - The Divine Cutter on Raven, Last Rites on Johnny... Steel Angel has produced mass mayhem in the ring!!

Rick - And Marley Jones is outside the ring loving every minute of this.

Steel Angel leans back and hooks Alexander Raven's leg for the pinfall as the fans go crazy. The official drops down to the ring mat to administer the count.

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Heather Thompson - Here's your winner, Steel Angel!

Rick - Pure domination right there.

Matt - Steel is just lining em up and knocking em down. He's gonna be a hard champion to dethrone.

Steel Angel climbs to his feet as Marley Jones rolls into the ring to congradulate Steel Angel. Steel Angel hoists his hands into the air in victory as his entrance music blares through the speakers. We cut to back stage where John and Savage are talking.

John trolly
I'm telling you, I'm sorry.

Jack Savage
You're sorry!? You costed me the damn match! I almost had the guy until you came in and ruined it.

John Trolly
Look just hear me out on this alright? All I ask is for a chance to redeem myself, I say that you and I should team up, just like old times.

Jack Savage
Team up huh?

John Trolly
Yeah think about it, you and me together. We could make a good pairing.

Jack Savage
I don't know......

John Trolly
I won't ask for an answer right away, take some time and give it some thought. Trust me, you won't regret it.

He leaves the scene as Jack looks on, the scene fades as we take a moment.

The camera returns to heather for the main event match

Heather Thompson - The following contest is the main event match set for one fall!

The titantron glows a crimson red when America by Deuce plays on the loudspeakers while Baron "Blaze" Tomson emerges from the curtains wearing his black trench coat with red flames lining from the sides and the back is the word "Blaze" written in fiery letters. He stands in the center doing his pose which ignites red pyro from the sides.

They wanna see blood.
They wanna see hate.
Like a needle in your veins, a sickness with no name.
In a world that's insane, why's America to blame when you're praying for a change to a god with no face?

They wanna see blood.
They wanna see hate.
Like a fucking AK, it's going up in flames.
In a world that's insane, why's America to blame when you're praying for a change to a god with no face?

Baron "Blaze" Tomson starts walking down with an arrogant swagger while he constantly points at the audience from the sides and shouts insults at them.

Heather Thompson - Making his way to the ring..from Trenton New Jersey, Weighing 256 Pounds...The Blazing Inferno...Baron Tomson!

Rick - Last week, Hawkins was about to cash in his title shot he earned at Pick Your Poison, but Tomson prevented it.

Matt - He's not going to allow Hawkins to become Champion before him!

You can't tell me what to say, because I've got one religion.
And I've got one decision, it's a big fuck you.
I can spit it in your face, every month and every day.
Every time you hear my name my middle finger's up too.
You think I owe you, but I ain't got no room for these hoes because their no good.
I ain't living by your rules.
You're getting old dude, for the liquor you blow it and you wanna be notice but you're dyeing so slowly.

He then stops at the end and leaps to the nearest corner and climbs up to the tip turnbuckle where he's perched there. He looks around with an very cocky smirk etched in his face.

color=red]So when they point the finger, you flip one back and say fuck that....FUCK THAT!
So when they point the finger, we'll flip ours back and say fuck that.....FUCK THAT![/color]

Baron then leaps off the turnbuckle and wonders around the ring before removing his jacket which he tosses to the time keeper.

He tilts his head from side to side and hops around the ring a bit as he gets ready for the match.

Final Call by Shadows Fall blasts in to a sound of Boos. Parker Wayde comes out with the IWF Championship around his waist and the crowd boos him on sight. He spreads his arms apart, arrogantly walking down the rampway as the crowd holds up signs at him.

Heather Thompson - And his Tag Team Partner..from Winston Salem North Carolina, weighing in at 247 Pounds..he is the IWF World Heavyweight Champion...Parker Wayde!

Rick - Parker isn't really popular here..[/color]

Matt - The key here is to win matches, not Popularity contests![b]

He makes his way into the ring and takes off the World Heavyweight Championship. He holds it up in the air shouting "I'm the man!" as the crowd is hurling insults at him. He talks with Tomson as he hands the referee his belt.

Suddenly the lights begin to fade, the beginning tones of "Uprising" by Muse beginning to play. Multi-colored lights begin to stream across the top of the stage, looking for the one whose music this belongs to. With a huge explosion of pyro, Alexander Remington stands at the top of the stage,

[b]Heather Thompson - And their opponent..from Los Angeles California, weighing 265 Pounds..Alexander Remington!

Rick - We may get to see a preview of Remington v.s Wayde right here tonight! The question is does Remington have what it takes to hang with Wayde?

Matt - This is the same man who did the one thing Remington could never do, he beat Stygian! If he can take him down, Remington has no chance!

the lights converging on his position as he cracks a smile at the fans who are either choosing to boo or cheer for him. Walking down to the ring, he jumps up onto the side apron, taking a look at the crowd before entering into the ring in between the top and middle rope.

The lights suddenly go out in the arena, fans aren't expecting whats to happen next. Suddenly a young man shows up on the Titantron with long blonde hair as "Kicking and Screaming" hits. Pyros go off after a huge BOOOOOM as the lights come back on. Griffin Hawkins walks from behind the ramp. He stops and raises both Devil horns in the air as the crowd goes wild. He walks down the aisle, fans cheering him as he slaps hands with a few fans.

Heather Thompson - And his partner...from Windsor Ontario Canada...weighing 227 Pounds..he is the holder of the World Championship Briefcase, The Rock Soldier...Griffin Hawkins!

Rick - Now this is a man who should be World Heavyweight Champion right now! He almost cashed it in last week!

Matt - Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades Rick! In speaking of which, Hawkins has been riding a wave of luck since coming to IWF, lets see if it carries through tonight!

He makes his way up the ring steps, soaking in the fan appreciation as he smiles at a few screaming female fans. He goes through the ropes and gets on the ropes, raising the devil horns in the air, pumping up the crowd. He gets down from the ring ropes and takes off his leather rocker jacket and goes out of the ring and looks over at the fans. He takes off his silver aviator sunglasses and puts them on a lucky young fan, patting him on the head. He makes his way back into the ring and relaxes on the ring ropes, awaiting his next opponent.

Battle Grounds 60: IWF's Diamond Anniversery Mainevent
Tag Team Match
[b]Hawkington [vs.] The Empire [Baron Tompson and Parker Wayde]

[DING DING DING!]

Parker is in the ring ready as Hawkins and Remington are at the end of the ring. They are playing rock paper scissors over who will start the match. Remington chooses paper while Hawkins chooses Scissors. He smiles, getting to start the match. Remington pats him on the shoulder as he and Parker circle the ring. A tie up grapple ensues between the two as they both are trying to power eachother down. Parker gets Hawkins into the corner but the referee breaks it up. Parker puts his hands up defensively and backs off, but not before shoving Hawkins. Hawkins shoves back and Parker returns the favor with a hard right hand. Hawkins answers with one of his own and the two begin trading punches.

Hawkins kicks Parker in the mid section and hammers him with a right hand. He runs him to the ropes and catches him with a flying forearm! Hawkins kips back up and waits for Parker to get up and catches him with a Scoop Slam. He runs the ropes but Tomson knees him in the back as he comes to his corner. Hawkins swings at Tomson who ducks out of the way. As he turns around he is caught with a kick to the mid section and a release snap suplex! He then picks up Hawkins by the hair and throws him into the corner. He tags in Tomson and the two run him to the ropes and catches him with a double flapjack!

Rick - Good teamwork by The Empire!

Matt - Both of them are dead set on ending Hawkington tonight!

Tomson shouts "Get up bitch!" at Hawkins as he smacks him as he is trying to get to his feet. He throws him to the opposite corner and goes to punch on him. But Hawkins hits a low blow on Tomson where the referee doesn't see it and hits a Spinebuster! He waits for Tomson to get up and connects with a flurry of jabs, staggering him and then runs the ropes and hits a Spinning Wheel Kick! He waits for him to get up and gets him in an arm wrench. He has him by the arm as he makes his way over to the corner, Tagging in Remington. Remington ascends the ropes as Hawkins still has Tomson's arm. He jumps down and hits a flying axehandle onto the arm!

Hawkins gets back in his corner as Remington is the fresh man in the match. He runs Tomson to the ropes and connects with a Spinebuster! He then lays on a brutal choke as the referee begins a 5 count. He lets go before he gets his team Disqualified. He throws Tomson to the corner and begins slapping him across the face shouting "You're nothing!" before kicking him in the mid section. He then lays on a lot of kicks as he slumps down into the corner. He begins choking him with his foot as the referee starts to count once more. After he lets go he scoops up Tomson, but he rakes him in the eye, catching him off guard. He grabs Remington by the neck and hits a Reverse DDT. He throws Remington into the corner and then tags in Parker. The two begin double teaming him until Hawkins rushes in and jumps right on Tomson, both teams are fighting it out! The referee is trying to regain control.

Rick - It's chaos out here!

Matt - I don't think the ref can keep these two apart!

Hawkins and Tomson are fighting it out outside the ring as Wayde is choking Remington in the corner. He then gets a full head of steam and runs at him, but Remington gets his foot up and Wayde eats boot. He runs out of the corner and connects with a clothesline! He then waits for Wayde to get up and connects with a kick to the mid section and a Gutwrench Powerbomb! Remington then signals for the end, looking to put away Wayde, but Tomson ambushes him from behind and begins hammering on him. But Tomson doesn't see Hawkins on the ropes. Hawkins hits Tomson with a diving Hurricanrana! Both teams are brawling in their perspective corners. Wayde goes to hit Remington, but he ducks and the referee is punched right in the face!

The referee slowly gets up, a bit woozy from the blast. He tries to stop Hawkins and Tomson from brawling and goes to seperate them. Hawkins looks down at the referee and punches him right in the face! The referee has had enough and rolls out of the ring, calling for the bell.

Heather Thompson - Ladies and Gentlemen...The referee has disqualified both teams...declaring this match a No Contest!

Rick - Well the referee has lost total control and had no choice but to call this match a draw.

Matt - The ring is not built to hold four egos!

The two teams are STILL going at it! As Parker and Remington are brawling, Parker reaches into his tights and gets out some brass knuckles and knocks Remington silly. Hawkins goes to help, but is low blowed by Tomson! Tomson reaches into his pocket and pulls out some Handcuffs. He drags Hawkins to the side of the ring and cuffs him to the ropes.

Rick What are these two heathens up to!?

As Hawkins is cuffed, Parker has a sadistic grin on his face as he tells Tomson to go under the ring and get the weapons. He reaches under the ring and gets out a Catonine Razor Blade whip! Tomson hands it to Parker as he whips Remington right across the back! Remington screams in pain as Hawkins is trying desperately to get out, screaming for someone to come out there. Tomson taunts Hawkins as he's handcuffed. Hawkins angrily reaches for him, but can't get to him. Tomson kicks him in the mid section and makes him watch as Parker hits him over and over with the whip. Hawkins struggles, trying to break free but can't.

Rick - God damnit! Someone has to stop this!

Hawkins screams at Tomson to let him go, but he keeps his grip on him as Remington is whipped. Blood starts appearing on his back. Hawkins is helpless as Parker smiles with sadistic glee as he picks up a prone Remington and hits Paydirt! Remington is unconscious as Parker looks down at him, trash talking him. He and Tomson leave the ring as referees run down to check on Remington. The referees unlock Hawkins and he immediately runs over to Remington's side checking on him. He has a look of concern on his face as he checks on his fallen friend. Tomson and Wayde grin at the ramp as the last thing we see is a glare on Hawkins' face before the show fades to black.
