We don't have to go down to Dante's basement anymore! It is just great. I look at the clock on the wall. 9PM. Jason and Kat should be back soon. It is movie night. We are suppose to watch Jeff's new movie. Kat also promised to come smoke with us when they came back. It has been some time since I have been able to just hang out with Kat. Ever since Jason's leg got destroyed she has been helping him with everything. But the leg is healing now and he can do more stuff on his own now. I find it incredible that none of this has been able to get him down. He always has this big smile on his face when I see him. I for sure would have been depressed as hell if I losed an arm and couldn't play guitar anymore. I would be crushed.

Monster then hung up. Oh Monster. We have been best friends for as long as I can remember. He is the weirdest guy I know. He believes in ghosts and stuff. And there is no one that can tell him that they don't exist. He smokes just as much weed as I do. Maybe even more. He is also a kick ass bassist. No one plays as good bass as Monster. He can just play it all. He was the bassist in Crude Ambiguity so that just says a lot about how good he is. Speaking of members of Crude Ambiguity. WHERE ARE KAT AND JASON!!?!? It is almost 10! They should be here by now. God!

I turn towards the door to see Jeff Adams come storming in with a DVD in his hand. He is pointing at it as he keeps yelling.

THAT IS ME! THAT IS ME! I AM ON THE COVER ON DVD!!! A MAJOR HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER!

The sad part is that it really was a major Hollywood blockbuster. I raise my hand and we high-five.

Jeff Adams.
Of course! But where is everyone?

Matt Biggars.
I don't know! I am getting high all alone.

Jeff Adams.
Aww man... none of them are here. But this movie is my big break... Hold on I need the toilet

Jeff walks into the bathroom and closes the door. That is Jeff Adams. The world's next Hollywood superstar. His first movie was just realized and he has three more coming up. Amazing how that shy little kid from Salt Lake City, born and raised in the most Christian family you will ever meet. Everything bad you ever heard about those super Christian families was Jeff's family. His father would always yell at him and his confidence was lower then I thought possible. Even though he is an annoying shit now and is pretty much just Jason Hawk 2.0 we are still all a little proud of him for making it so far.

Jason Hawk.

I look back towards the door to see Jason walk through the doors with Kat in his arms. He is heavily limping on his right leg. He just throws Kat down on the couch and just falls forward.

Jason Hawk.
I made it.

He mumbles as his forehead is pressed against the floor.

And now I can't get back up. So I am just laying here for the rest of the night. Enjoy the movie guys.

Jason was always being a dick to Taylor. They had some history. Some great history and some not so good. Taylor could take his jokes though and deep down inside Jason actually really cared about her.

I help Jason to his feet and seat him in the couch. He puts his arm around Kat and I sit down in my chair again taking another drag of the joint. I look at Kat. I am not sure if all the feelings I had for her are gone now? I fell pretty hard for her and I was in love with her for so long. She was my best friend after Monster and still is. I guess I should just be happy about that and get over it. Suddenly Taylor sits down on my lap. We were close like that. Taylor is a great girl but I could never see her as girlfriend material. I think she knows and I think it is therefor that she always does stuff like sit on my lap and give me random massages every now and then. I won't complain. Then there is Jason. He is somewhat the reason that we are all together. If it wasn't for him none of us would have known Jeff or Taylor. I don't think I would have seen a lot of Kat either. Me and Monster would just be alone.

Yeah he is. He is sitting right there.

Jeff points to the chair next to me where Monster sits with joint hanging in his lip.

Wow. I knew that he would show up sooner or later but that did surprise me. Jeff puts on the movie and it begins. I look around the room one more time and realize that this little group friends really isn't so bad. We will survive this life just fine.
