Three men fighting in the main event matchup.
Stygian the black crusader.
Ruben Ricardo Leon, the Mexican Warrior.
And then you got me, Dark Archangel the Reaper of death.
I see Styg's comments on Ruben are rubbing off on him. That's actually a good thing for me, because they will be too focused on each other. That allows me plenty of time to plan out what needs to be done and how to perform it.
I mean let's face it, does anyone here think I'm going to win this match?
No of course not, why should they? I've failed against Chuck Matthews even with Craig hanging in the sidelines; I failed against Brandon in his own match. He pushed me too my limit and I made him work for it; I was not one to give up so easily.
However charging head on into this fight with no game plain is a recipe for disaster.
I've already made that mistake with both Connar and Chuck, I had somewhat of a game plan against Brandon but my lack of skill didn't allow it to follow through.
This time though I had plenty moments to analyze both competitors. I've watched their matches, looked at their styles, their methods. I then think of what to do and what not to do.
This is Upper Limit's attempt to try and regain some footing after losing the tag title and two good members of their group.
I won't let them succeed though; Styg is not really the problem here. It's Upper Limit that I have to worry about, with Brandon as the ref and Corey as the timekeeper. I will expect them to use their positions to turn the tide of the battle to their favor. Long story short their objection is rather simple: Make sure Ruben leaves with the title.
But this is where they will fail, because they don't see the 3rd party of the match, that of course being me. They figured by having me as their distraction, it will balanced the scales enough so that it will give Styg the fighting chance, but in the end it will end up being a bad night for the High Impact champion. The only way I can see Styg or me winning this is by getting rid of both Corey and Brandon.
Now that can be arranged.
I'll let Ruben and Styg have their battle, I'll go in and do my thing but I'll pull out when needed. I have to watch out for both Brandon and Corey. Not to mention I have to pay attention to Stygian's girls; they will very likely make their presence felt in this match.
I've been having some high ends and some low ends, but then again so does everyone else in this company. There will be times were you are very successful and there will be times were you will fail. As I mentioned before, anyone can be beaten on their best day.
For me it will be a shock for everyone if I can win this match. It's not at all impossible, I just have to pick my moments carefully and not fall for the same tricks that everyone else who would be in the position as Styg would likely fall for.
That's not saying that Stygian will fall for it, the guy may blow smoke out of his pipe every chance he gets, but the guy is as intelligent as they come. Same for Ruben, the guy thinks he has this match in the bag and you know something? That will work against him big time because he's confidence will end up biting him on the ass.
I on other hand must take caution to not fall into the same traps, overconfidence can be a bad thing. I'm learning that lesson the hard way.
But hey, better late than never eh?
Now let me tell you something else, I understand that many people are concerned about the unfortunate death of one of IWF's own Dan Alexander. After the beating that he received from the High Impact champion, he would die less than week later due to heart problems. Huh so that is why he lost so badly to him, because he had health problems. Well Styg if this is your so called "great achievement" then you are a misguided soul and need to be cast away.
See when I first took Dan out of the picture, it was just a way for him to take some time off and relax. Rather then listen to reason, the guy allowed his pride to get the better of him and what happened? Now he's 6 feet under with a coffin over his face and a drama queen eating this up just to see how many people she can get under her fingers. Judging by the amount of viewers who said that Styg "killed" Dan.......that's alot of poor saps who bought in that nonsense. He should have listen the first time and took the hint when I threw him out. Guess you can't win em all can you?
But I digress; this is going to be an epic matchup between the 3 of us. Naturally Upper Limit lead themselves to believe that this match is theirs for the taking. Stygian is fighting on his own terms while I am fighting on mine. No one is making any friends but that's not what this company is all about is it?
It's about being successful, it's about reaching the top of the mountain. To glorify your legacy and cremate it and have your name in the history books. Simply put: Immortality, that's a big thing to offer in a federation that's all about being violent and vulgar.
So why not give these a show? After all, that's really what Upper Limit wants: Just give the people a show at me and Stygian’s expense. Sorry I would much rather take an arrow to the knee than subject myself to being the laughing stock of this company.
If it's a show they want, it's a show they will get. It will be brutal, it will be bloody, hide your kids people. This is the kind of carnage that you will only see in IWF.
You got three man going after one belt, and thus only one winner.
For Upper Limit, they all win.
But for me, it's a win win situation.
Because it's in my blood, I am born to climb to the top.
Consider this match as my first step.
