IWF.com received this update from IWF's Head Medical Doctor
"In the final moments of Battle Grounds this past week, Tim Patrick suffered a complete mental breakdown. He blacked out in the ring and was rushed to the back by medical staff. He woke up in the early hours of Tuesday morning and since then he has believed himself to be a 9 year old child. Tim started to experience trauma around that age and lost his older sister to a brutal murder that he witnessed in the summer of 1995, when he was 9. We believe that this recent trauma he has experienced, losing his fiancée and unborn child, is the cause of his breakdown. He is currently under supervision by doctors at his South Philadelphia apartment and he hasn't improved. He keeps asking for his parents to come and take him home, and believes that Blyss Lockhart is his deceased sister Mary. She has visited him and is staying in touch with him. Tim is being heavily medicated and is undergoing several therapy sessions a day. I have suggested to Insurgency Wrestling Federation that Tim Patrick be allowed to come to Battle Grounds 81 in Pittsburgh in an attempt to put him in a familiar setting in the hopes that he breaks through this mental barrier."
We at IWF.com wish Tim Patrick the best and hope for a speedy recovery.
