According to IWF.com IWF Champion Stygian, his wife Lilith and their associate Lilah have asked for and been granted their releases from Insurgency Wrestling Federation. Stygian and the ladies were at IWF headquarters this afternoon to void their contracts. Stygian returned a prorated portion of his signing bonus and surrendered the IWF Title to Rick Christian before boarding a flight to New York to attend an invitation-only performance by legendary rock band Van Halen in advance of their A Different Kind of Truth tour. Stygian's profile has been removed from IWF's website and his merchandise has been pulled from their online store. Stygian has refused to acknowledge why he asked for his release as of this writing.
